I've been coming to Hibachi Express for years, and it never disappoints! The takeout hibachi is always delicious, with large portions that make for a great meal (or 2!). The white sauce is amazing- it's one of my favorite parts of the meal! I love getting half fried rice & half noodles with the chicken hibachi! Prices range from $8 to $12 for the hibachi. There are a few tables inside but this place is best for to-go orders. The best part is that you can order online! If you're in the mood for takeout hibachi, this is the place to try! Highly recommend!

THIS IS THAT SPOT!!! The food is always delicious & fresh. Price is right & I would honestly eat this every single day if I could. The hibachi chicken meal is perfect! I get it with the noodles and it comes with chicken and veggies. The flavor is great and quick service. Love the onion soup too!

this is my first time ordering from there. I ordered chicken teriyaki lunch special and it was not great. It did not even taste like anything. No seasoning or cook on the chicken. The chicken was still relatively white. It tasted mid but if you want cheap meal, maybe go here.i also got the fried chicken was not great but was ok

Affordable place if you want quick hibachi. We ordered 2 plates of steak and chicken, half fried rice and half noodle for $33. Comes with yum yum sauce. Order was done in 10-15 minutes. We had a couple of people come before us that ordered take-out. They have seats inside their restaurant and a vacant parking lot. Smells good when you walk-in. Food was hot. Portions are huge! I split the dish into two.

I love the food so much, I've ordered here hundreds of times. The only issue, the price. If you order online for delivery, expect 30$ per person. I don't know why but that has been consistent for me. But when I went in person the price was less than half. I really recommended going in there, the service was fast for this type of cuisine and I'm definitely going again

I went here years ago and remember being impressed... this last time, not so much. It wasn't bad, but definitely not the fresh, grilled classic flavor I was looking for. The shrimp was plentiful and cooked fine, with a large portion of rice and a container of white sauce to go along with it. Decent, but not sure I'll be back.

This restaurant could have killed my husband. We specifically put on the receipt to not have our hibachi orders touch peanuts or seafood. The SECOND my husband took a bite his throat started swelling up. He took his medicine early enough that we did not have to go to the emergency room. I have a piece of steak to my 11 month old before my husband had began eating his and LUCKILY she did not have a reaction. We immediately called the restaurant and they basically pretended the manager was not there and then suddenlyyyy appeared and proceeded to tell us oh well call Uber. Whether it was peanut oils on the noodles or the fact they cook the shellfish and steak in the same place, THEY ARE AN AWFUL ESTABLISHMENT and do not have the care or brainpower to put effort into a customer not dying. The food is disgusting ( the couple bites we took.) RUN THE OTHER WAY.

Drown that shit in white sauce folks!

This place has got one of the best deals in town. As someone who has been to Kobe many times, I've got to say, Hibachi Express is pretty damn close. Their white sauce may actually be better, and you get a whole bottle w your food. They give a very generous portion of actual quality chicken breast. You'll want to go for the hibachi lunch special, you'll wait about 7 minutes for them to cook it up fresh. It's only about $8. Check this place out, skip the Panda Express down the road and try a place w fresh food that doesn't have to be deep fried to be goo

Very unsure of how this location only has 3 and a half stars.... if I could eat here everyday and not gain another butt cheek I would. The first time I tried this location was through postmates and it was amazing. I would suggest ordering extra white sauce when you do any delivery service or to go orders. Today, I decided to dine in, and glad I did too! Our order was taken promptly and the cashier was knowledgeable about the menu items. When you eat in store you get the white sauce at the table through a squirt bottle... which I'm always tempted to take home. I will definitely come back for a quick hibachi experience.

Hibachi chicken came overcooked, rice has basically no flavor and is more sticky than fried. Shrimp is decent though

I used to be a huge fan of this place. The sushi is good for the price and they are pretty fast. They serve sushi and hibachi with your choice of meat with the Kobe style white sauce. They also have soups and salads, the menu has a lot of choices. The restaurant itself is clean and the service is OK. I wanted sushi and didn't want to drive too far so I placed my order over the phone using their online menu. They said my order would be ready in 15-20 mins which was perfect. I figured for roughly $13 for 2 different types of rolls was not bad. When I went to pick up the order I was charged about $17. The thing is the menu online does not have the current prices. The customer service person told me that they increased their prices and refused to honor the posted prices online. The sushi rolls were OK, not bad but I have had better. I got the Alaska roll which is salmon with eel sauce I believe and the Philadelphia roll. I was craving sushi that day and it did the job. I probably will not be returning there because not only was the sushi OK but I have an issue with paying more than what was posted online. For $17 I could have gone to better sushi spot and gotten at least 3 different types of rolls. My advice to anyone wanting to check out this place when calling make sure you ask for the current prices as they are not posted online.

Everyone received their starters, the blonde waitress asked if I wanted one as well. When I said yes, she responded with "bro, it's not going to be free," which made the interaction very awkward for everyone at the table since I never even asked for the starter in the first place and was just very unprofessional. Later, one of my friends received shrimp tempura that was translucent, raw, and slimy in the middle. When we politely mentioned it, both the waitress and host repeatedly questioned whether we were sure it was raw. At one point the waitress even asked something along the lines of "so do you want this for free or something?" which felt accusatory and uncomfortable. We're familiar with tempura/sushi dishes in general and understand that something can be fried on the outside but still undercooked inside. The repeated doubt came across as dismissive and a bit condescending. She also said she would "pray" for one of my friends which was a very strange and off-putting comment in that situation. It just felt like she was doubting us and in general it made us feel bad for even bringing it up in the first place. The item did end up being comped, which we appreciated, but that didn't change the interaction we had or the comments that were made. We weren't there trying to get free items, so the assumptions and tone from our server made the whole situation feel uncomfortable and strange. Overall, we did enjoy the food, but the service made the dinner uncomfortable and left us feeling judged rather than welcomed. Since I've had good experiences here in the past, I hope this feedback is taken constructively so future guests have a better experience.

The restaurant is on the smaller side (about 6-7 tables) with additional bar seating, which adds to the cozy, authentic feel. The Vibe: Small, intimate, and focused--this is the kind of place where you know the food is the star. One small note: I didn't see any beer options--just soft drinks and teas. Not a dealbreaker, but I do usually enjoy a beer with ramen, so it was a bit of a miss for me. What We Ordered: * Cucumber Salad * Chicken Karaage * Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen * Spicy Miso Ramen Standout Bites: The cucumber salad was incredibly fresh with the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and salty. The chicken karaage was exactly what you want--crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. Perfect crunch, perfect bite. Then came the ramen... Both the spicy tonkotsu and spicy miso broths were rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. The noodles had that ideal chewy texture, and the pork was thinly sliced, tender, and full of flavor. Rich broth, chewy noodles, melt-in-your-mouth pork. Overall: This is hands down the best ramen I've had since visiting Japan, which says a lot. We left already planning our next visit. Pro tip: Arrive early for lunch--seating is limited and fills up quickly.

What really struck me was the delicious, nicely presented, tasty combination of flavors that I found in the Drama Queen roll. This roll contains spicy tuna, avocado, tempura flakes, yellowtail, jalepeno, black tobiko and spicy kimchee sauce. It was so delicious. And fresh! Way to go, Boku! I also ordered a Shrimp Tempura roll that contained avocado, butter lettuce, shrimp tempura, eel sauce and masago. First off, the setting is gorgeous sitting around the chef's counter. Sitting at the very end, it felt like a private dining experience with my partner and the chefs/staff who were putting on such a show. Each course was thoughtfully explained and presented with such fine care, really making me appreciate each bite and ponder about the ingredients being used. Hearing about the hyper-local farms and what they provide was really unique, while also appreciating the fish, rice, and vinegar they import from Japan for authenticity. Overall a great blend. The food is expertly prepared, though I wish they leaned more into the sushi and Japanese inspiration for the entire evening. The fresh fish and sushi courses were the highlights of the show and make for a peculiar parallel to the later deeper flavor dishes like the braised short rib. Possibly this is averted if we had splurged on the wagyu supplement but still felt like the menu takes a turn towards the end. I can't speak more highly of the service here. The entire team was incredible throughout the entire evening with an energy and passion that only comes with this caliber of restaurant. Each piece builds on the last. You can tell there's real thought behind the progression. The fish is pristine, but what stood out more was how balanced everything was. Clean flavors, subtle creativity, and zero gimmicks. A few bites genuinely caught me off guard in the best way. That moment where you pause and just look at the person next to you like... yeah, that was special. If you're going, get the drink pairing. So if you're a long time Central Florida resident, then you know that street is very walkable and super cute with the park nearby but also high end. I mean it has a Williams Sonoma, like casually. The restaurant is located at 525 S Park Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789. My boyfriend did get the reservation I think about a month in advance. It very much surprised me as one of my goals is to try new places in Orlando, and this was one that he had been to that I hadn't been to. So A++++ for him. So the restaurant had a super nice atmosphere but was very booked out. There were heart balloons at every table. So the decor was absolutely in the room with us lol. The service was very nice and I feel that they were very attentive and almost felt like maybe they had been trained to provide a certain feeling to customers. I'm sure they had been. Getting into the food, I'm not sure what the bill was. I wasn't allowed to look at it. I will say that I'm sure it was at least $100. I did leave feeling very full, but I do feel like that's a lot of money for me to feel full. We ordered the Misoyaki Butterfish, which was a Miso-glazed Chilean sea bass on a plate with ginger-sake eggplant, butter garlic sautéed spinach, and Japanese potato purée. It's a large plate and we did share, but it was not the whole fish. I think if I pay $45 for a fish, I want the whole fish. My rating is 8.5/10. It was incredibly delicious, but I want the rest of my fish. We also got the Kanpungi, which was fried Korean style boneless chicken bites smothered in a spicy soy sauce glaze. My rating of this is 9/10. I think it was great and was very filling for an appetizer. We accidentally ran into our friends at the restaurant, who had sent us a bottle of sake. The sake was great. We sent back a non-alcoholic cocktail they had and a sake based cocktail. I couldn't tell you what it tasted like, but the service presented and delivered back and forth between our table in a manner I can only describe as carrier pigeon-esque. They did great. I love fanfare. I think for a first date, this is a great place to bring someone you have been talking to for a little bit and want to show that you have a good stable job in this economy and like foods outside of American food. I wasn't on a first date as a note lol. My overall rating is 7.5/10. I mean I think everything was great, but that price stabbed me a little. My boyfriend did suggest to me that it would have been a higher rating if we had gotten one of the rolls. So that's on me. It is in a great walkable neighborhood though. So you are getting charged for ambiance.
