Some of the best sushi in Seminole county. From the outside this place does not look all that great. Inside is very small but service is top notice. Have never had a bad experience here yet. We usually get 4 or 5 different rolls and split between the two of us. They are so good and never have to worry about anything bad. They also have habachi if that's what you want. Just have not had that yet there.

Come hungry, because they don't play around with portions here. My plate was stacked with tender steak bites, crisp vegetables, a generous scoop of fluffy rice, and beautifully seared scallops that added just the right touch of sweetness. Every bite felt hearty and flavorful--exactly the kind of balance you want in a meal like this. What really stood out was the value. For the price, the portion size is impressive, making this an easy go-to spot if you're craving a big meal without sacrificing quality. It's the kind of place where you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars: the food delivers, the value is undeniable, and if you've got an appetite, this is where you want to be.

HIDDEN GEM!! I was working in Longwood and stumbled across this little spot. Quiet and clean, yet such a warm inside! I got to go, and it was a great portion and not just "thrown in the box" as some take out places do. The prices were very low for the amount of food you get, and t was delicious! Got the dinner special and could not recommend it more. Plus, only waited 7min AT MOST for my food, and I did not call ahead.

    Lunch special.

Yabi's is definitely a local favorite. The service is always great. I normally don't wait long for my order regardless of carry out or dining in. The ambiance is nice, they offer a small dining area which is ideal for a small party of 1-4. The food is always great and for the price, you can't beat it! I recommend giving them a shot.

My go to for takeout hibachi. They ask how you'd like your steak cook and out of every time I've said medium rare, I've probably actually got it once. It still taste great, just don't understand why they ask if it's always well done.

I was at a tasting! Just this year!

Everything! Always!!! Love the service and the food. Big high five to the avocado salad and the Dancing Shrimp Roll!!! I have never had a bad sushi night here. I passed this place by many times not familiar with it and it appeared small from the outside. Boy was I wrong. Smaller, yes, but cozy, quiet, private and a perfect night out. Way to go, Yabi Sushi, for doing it right!!!

I got the hibachi lunch delivered for some lunch and it did not disappoint. The portions were generous and everything tasted great. I wish the salad had a cucumber and some carrots like some other hibachi places do but that's okay! Dressing was yummy.

Hidden Gem ! Everything was sooo good & fast !

Definitely a hidden gem! Food was super super good & very fast ! Easily became one of my favorite top stops.

First time trying Yabi Sushi and we ordered to go. Usually I go to casselberry for my hibachi but have this a try. Food was fresh and hot even with the 10 minute drive home. We ordered the chicken and shrimp dinner which included a salad and soup. Both salad and soup were good, gave me the Kobe's vibe. Shrimp tempura roll was also good , can't go wrong. I don't order sushi from everywhere cause I get weirded out but I would definitely try the other rooms next time

I have always loved getting my sushi from Yabi. No matter if I dine in, take out or choose delivery, I have never been disappointed. The staff has always been friendly and when I do dine in I have never had bad service. They just recently started offering delivery and when I choose to have my food delivered I receive the same quality as when I dine in. My go to order is the sashimi deluxe. What sets Yabi apart from other sushi restaurants is the price, the quality, the quantity and the size. The price for the quality is unbeatable! I love the quantity you get because it's filling and the pieces are thick! Yabi is the only place that gives me thick pieces of sashimi. Also, their rolls are amazing! My favorites are the Philadelphia roll and the Bubba roll. If you don't like sushi their hibachi is very good! The portions are big and everything is delicious. For all these reasons this is why I have and I always will eat at Yabi.

I triedbout their maru special two rolls with a salad or soup. Of course I choose the salad. My hubby choose the miso soup. The two rolls Itried were the California roll and the chicken tempura roll. The California roll had fresh ingredients like avocado, shredded Kani, and cucumbers. The chicken tempura roll was filled with tempura chicken, avocado, and spicy mayo. My hubby ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box. I got to try the chicken and freshly steamed rice. The chicken was juicy and the teriyaki was nicely mild and not to sweet. The bento box was the perfect amount of food for him. He actually left stuffed like a cabbage roll. Lol Both rolls were yummy with no need for eel sauce, spicy mayo, or soy sauce on the side. I will also include that the fresh ginger slices are to die for. I could be a ginger snob though. Lol Highly recommend the spring rolls as well. They have the perfect crispness and flavor to them. You will be provided with a sweet chili sauce to dip away with. Thank you again for a great experience.

Only like 3 diners were there when we arrived (it was mid afternoon), so lots of open seating. We were able to sit at the bar. Greeted right way. Will say they have a very extensive menu. Decent selection of sushi & other types of dishes. Our server was pleasant. We started with their daily deal which was Crispy Tuna and edamame as well. Came out pretty quickly after we ordered. The Crispy Tuna was served not as we expected. It was more rice cakes (pancake style shape if you will) not what we are accustomed to which generally is a Square Musubi Press. They were good, but would have preferred them the way we generally order it. Edamame was tasty, but hard to mess that up. Rolls: they are pretty small to be honest and squeezed so tightly (with not enough of outer rice) they sat up high and didn't take on the plump desirable shape. When a sushi roll (maki) is rolled and pressed incorrectly with a bamboo mat, the cylindrical shape gets squished and inevitably turns into a aesthetic effect that looks off, which in my opinion shows here. Plus, very thinly sliced rolls. 4 rolls we ordered: Naruto Roll, it was refreshing & liked the cucumber in place of the seaweed wrap. Beauty & Beast Roll, came together well with the black tobiko & masago. Waterfall Roll was good, but would have liked some more heat (heaver on the jalapeños) and finally the Black Pearl Roll which was decent with the black tobiko on top! Throughout of dining experience the sushi chefs were preparing other dishes on the menu to fill orders, but also pleasant & engaging as we watched them make our orders and those others too. Leo and Micah were friendly, not so much the only female employee. She gave off some negative vibes. Never said a word to us & acted like we were not even there! Believe her role may have been in the kitchen, but she was out on the floor (for most of our time there) talking to Leo primarily. Kitchen cleanliness is key and by looking thru the open space (to the backs of sushi chefs) she really needed to focus more of her attention there instead of projecting conversations out front to the busy staff. Meaning that sanitation and environmental hygiene is a mandatory practice that needs constant attention & customers may observe or question those things when not tending to the task. I'm addressing this in the most important and nicest way possible! Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. Not the best sushi restaurant we've been to, but definitely sufficed for our craving. Ended our meal with their fried ice cream which was delicious. Note- Do not believe they have any happy hour specials. No Kizami Wasabi available here. They feature a few lower costs options for lunch. Additionally, they have hibachi, teriyaki and ramen also!
