    Sashimi Lunch Box $15.95
    Scott W.

A few coworkers and I wanted to try something out of our norm for lunch so we decided to give Samurai Sushi a try. We arrived around 11:15am, were promptly seated and our server, Annie was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was not overly busy and the available seating areas were clean/orderly. I decided on the 7-piece Sashimi Lunch Box for $15.95. In my opinion, this is a bit pricy for a lunch item. The Lunch Box is served with miso soup, house salad, fried rice, clear noodle/seaweed salad, and cucumber squid salad. My meal was delicious and was presented well; however, I was still hungry when I left. My coworkers ordered (1) Any Two Rolls ($11.95); (2) Chicken Tempura Lunch Box ($11.95), and (3) Teriyaki Steak Lunch Box ($19.95). Once again, everyone was happy with their meals, but were still hungry when leaving. So, for the four of us to dine in, our bill came to $67.14 minus tip. Annie was great, so obviously we tipped 20% brining our bill near $80.00. All-in-all if you are not on a budget and can afford to spend roughly $20 per person to have lunch here, I recommend giving Samurai Sushi a try. The food was delicious, service was great, and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Although I enjoyed my experience here, I cannot make it a staple for lunch. I can go down the road a piece to Tomasino's, order their lunch special for $8-$9 and walk out stuffed for the rest of the day; there is no comparison. Regardless, I would definitely return to Samurai Sushi in the future they have a good thing going; however, I might just visit on special occasions.

Freshest, most custom made sushi you will find and locally owned. Service is phenomenal and the attention from the staff is second to none!!

I dropped by here for lunch as I was heading from Longwood to Heathrow. The atmosphere was for me more to a darker old world feel. I was greeted right away away when I entered and told being single I could seat where enter I wanted. The menu seemed to me to have a large selection. I decided on the 3 Roll lunch with Miso Soup. I had the Dynamite Roll, Alaskan Roll and the Salmon Avocado Roll. All 3 Rolls were very good and the service was spot on.

We always enjoy eating here the food is always fresh and delicious only one time they mess up on our today order. They have a happy hour menu special on sushi. The last time we went we try different dishes. Both were delicious.

I was craving Sushi and saw that Samurai Sushi has a lunch special. The deal was 3 sushi rolls with a salad or soup, for $10.95. The restaurant is bigger than I thought, and I guess that not many people know about this special because it wasn't packed. I ordered the Crunchy roll, special eel roll, and shrimp cucumber roll with a house salad. The salad was ok, nothing too special. The sushi was good, but not great. The Crunchy roll stood out to me the most. My wife got the chicken teriyaki lunch Bento Box and I was kinda jealous. She had her teriyaki chicken breast, with fried rice, house salad, and clear noodles. Definitely something I'd try, if I were to visit for lunch again. They have a happy hour from 5pm-7pm, along with sushi bar seating so you can see all the sushi artistry go down, or swing down some sake at the bar.

Sat here for almost 15 minutes the place is not busy whatsoever BUT I am the only BLACK person in here and somehow some way they continue to walk past me not even offer me a drink of water! Very horrible it's 2022 get over you fckn racist ways bastards !

The atmosphere here is cosy and the food was really good. This is a good place to eat in my opinion. The sushi was also able to be customized, so that was pretty cool. I came with some friends and i consider coming here to try again.

Great place. Quickly seated. Food arrived quick. The cowboy steak was perfectly cooked, I got medium. Just the right amount of tenderness. 16oz. Massive portion. Wings were deep fried / lemon pepper. Loved it. The sashimi was fresh. Host was friendly. The lady who sat us down was rude though, took 1 start off for that.

This restaurant always gives us a delicious meal. The sushi is fresh and the staff is helpful and kind. What more can you ask for in a sushi place?

Sushi was disgusting. Everything inside it was obviously old. Just threw away about half of it, the other half was chewed and spit out.

The Coconut Shrimp roll was sweet from the coconut sauce and the coconut added a yummy flavor and texture to the roll, as well. If you like coconut and sweet rolls, you'll love this. The Florida roll was GAS ! I just started getting into spicy food and spicy tuna recently and this was just perfect. The right amount of bite and the spicy tuna on top tasted so good. It seems like they mash it up, which makes it easier to chew than typical raw tuna. A great savory roll and the flavor profile was just right, adding the eel sauce was a nice touch. The Alaska Roll speaks for itself, I mean look at that mountain of crunch I got it both times I went (inadvertently). I think I got it right with the name... I was calling it the volcano roll, but that has mango sauce on it. This one has kani on top and cream cheese inside and probably shrimp tempura. I really loved this roll, like a mountain of flavor every bite. The atmosphere is small with authentic looking Japanese decor and quiet. A nice spot for a week day dinner (might get crowded on the weekend). Really great food though overall. Ate these rolls as leftovers both times and was good the next day

Since they did not have a liquor license yet, I brought 2 cans of Sapporo beer that I bought at Publix, they kindly brought me a glass and put the second one in the fridge for me. We ordered Edamame and several rolls as well as some Sashimi and Nigiri Sushi. Everything was fresh and tasty, you could see the care the chef's took in their preparation. We have been back several times since, and my wife sometimes bring us a care package after her Pilates class! Oh, and they have a liquor license now and a great selection of beer and Saké! Simply amazing for a strip mall Suhsi place!

We heard about the grilled pork chop being superb so we trolled the minuscule parking lot looking for a precious parking place until we finally found one - the last one on a mid-week night. What must this place be like on Fri & Sat nights? Our service was absolutely glacial. It was non-existent for the first 8-10 minutes as we were completely ignored. Do not confuse activity with production. Folks are moving around - they just don't do anything. Finally a cheerful gal appeared to give us menus & take drink orders. Slow service continued and is the overriding theme of this restaurant. Our observation: clearly regulars get preferential treatment. We watched wait-staff acknowledge and chat up folks while completely ignoring others sitting at the next table. Not professional, and certainly no bueno if the restaurant wants to attract new customers. The pork chop was very small - not even close to resembling the picture on the menu. It was just average; the kale accompaniment was so bitter we couldn't eat it; and the small portion of mashed potato was the only redeeming item on the plate. Charging my guest $1 to substitute broccoli for kale at the prices we were charged was a rip-off. Just so mickey mouse The bread pudding was over-cooked and frankly inedible. Our meal as a whole was too expensive and very, very mediocre. The lousy service really ought to be addressed - if not for the private-club feel regarding prompt service only for the regulars at the expense of new customers, this place would surely close. We came, we saw, we ate, we're done. Extremely doubtful we'll ever go back to Stonewood in Heathrow. Just not a good meal.

Stopped in for dinner with Nancy around 6:45pm before our night out on the town…read more It's was pretty much everything I expected; small family run restaurant, great food, but not over the top fancy. The restaurant wasn't too busy, two small groups other than us. We were promptly greeted and seated at a booth. Our server was most likely one of the owners as she was seated right behind us with her son. I assume the man who seated us was the dad because he kept tabs on the son when Mom was taking care of customers. The chef might have also been a family member as well; regardless, they took great care of us during our visit, but it is something to note. There are a lot of menu options, so I recommend checking it out before arriving otherwise you may need some time to make a decision. Once we placed our order our food was out in less than 10 minutes which was pretty amazing. We started with the seaweed salad ($7), which we thought was a little small for the price; however, it was good, but know that they add thinly sliced cucumber into the salad as a filler. For our main course I chose the crazy roll ($11.45), Nancy chose the Rock N Roll ($9.45), and we also purchased the chicken fried rice to share ($12.45). The chef does a great job with the presentation and the food was delicious. For the most part The restaurant dining area is well organized and clean. When I got up to use the restroom I noticed a heavy sewer odor coming from the area. The men's room looked nice at first but as I looked closer I noticed the tile floor is missing grout and the restroom just needs better housekeeping. My wife said the ladies room was a disaster and there was foam spray around the base of the toilet and it was turning black, yuck! Well that's probably where to smell was coming from. About an hour after dinner I became very gassy which is unusual for me than I had an upset stomach the rest of the evening. Unfortunately this issue progressed further through Sunday and I've been house ridden the remainder of the weekend. I'm thinking something was up with my roll because Nancy didn't have any issues with hers. I hate to blame the restaurant for this issue but with being down to one meal a day I can pretty much weed out my lunch on Friday as the culprit. If I did come back I would probably stick to the hot food just to play it safe, but with so many other options in the area Its hard to say I will be back anytime soon.

Lots of items on the menu. I knew right away I wanted the seaweed salad and a roll. I got the rock and roll roll which was awesome. The seaweed salad was good but there wasn't enough of it for me. Underneath the seaweed salad was a bed of sliced cucumber which was good but I'd rather have more seaweed salad!! Scott got a roll with shrimp and salmon. And we got the chicken fried rice which was awesome. All the food was good going down... but then later on that evening Scott began to feel sick. Something that he ate at this restaurant that had bacteria in it. . I mean We are eating raw fish.. As we went back to the bathrooms to wash our hands we smelled the overwhelming odor of sewage they had some old signs that set out of order on the wall so I'm guessing they had a problem. So that's my review The food was awesome!... but Scott got sick so I don't know if I'll go back.

Waiter checked doneness at the table which I appreciated. The loaded mashed and Brussels sprouts as sides were also fantastic. They are more than enough for up to 4 guests. We were too full to even look at the dessert menu but I'd wager that whatever the offer is probably just as amazing. I'll definitely eat here again and recommended it to other folks who attended the same wedding we were in town for!

Valentine's dinner on Friday night before the day for me and my hubby! We were there right around…read more415 when they opened. It was not busy and we were like 3rd came in. We have chosen to sit at the bar area. We chose from the happy hour menu! I got the lavender blue. And then we ordered blue crab devil eggs, F&D prime steak sandwich, blue fin tuna tataki, and wagyu burger with fries! About 10 min the food started to come up. The bartender is very friendly and attentive! The restaurant is well decorated and high class for sure. The place started to get busy! Our food has arrived, devil eggs is great and yummy, cannot really tasted th blue crab but definitely the caviar on top. Tuna Tatakiis very yummy and just right, lavender blue is yummy and just has right amount of vodka. Prime steak sandwich look more like sliders but very good meat in deed. The wagyu burger is like a full size burger and we added cheese and lettuce and tomato on that. The fries are amazing too!
