They did just open so there were a few hiccups. For example, the Naruto roll that I ordered was the wrong thing twice when it was brought out. The first time they brought me a Kani salad, The second time it seemed to be a Kani salad with more ingredients on top. Then the guy came to the table and asked me three times if I had received it yet which I still hadn't. Finally a lady who may have been one of the owners came by the table and overheard me explaining to the food runner what a Naruto roll was. She then made sure I got what I ordered. The skewers left a bit to be desired. They were three little pieces of chicken or four pieces of squid. The squid more closely resembled calamari. Overall, the food did come out pretty quickly and besides the hiccups it was pretty good. I'm sure it's all growing pains and as the food runners get familiar with the food, a lot of those problems will not happen. I may recommend having photos in the back that they can refer to to make sure they're bringing the right thing out. Also, there were a couple times that things were brought out that had already come out so they need to work on the kitchen communication. I love how they have remodeled the inside of this place. I did go when it was of a previous restaurant and it looks a lot nicer. I wasn't a big fan of their Ginger dressing that comes with a salad. It has more of a mayonnaise base and I was expecting a traditional Ginger dressing. For the price, I would definitely recommend checking out the lunch AYCE menu.

The cocktails I selected were not all that strong, but they were visually appealing. I absolutely loved the Buffalo Rock Shrimp. It had the perfect amount of spicy kick. We ordered an additional one since it was such a hit. The edamame is addictive. The only dish that fell flat for me was the Coco Roll. Nothing special really. Our server Lucy was hardworking and provided stellar service. She guided me to try their rośe sake, Amabuki, which was beautifully light, crisp and smooth. Lucy had us laughing and feeling good. We would love to be served by her again. This location is artistically styled inside with eye-catching Asian touches. It gets busy and ends up being somewhat noisy, but we could still hear each other at our corner table. The intimate lighting creates a sophisticated aura. Soon I'll return for their brunch since it has received rave reviews.

The service from the valet, our server, the food runners, and any one else that was around quickly picked up every plate soon as we were done. The food was as incredible as we remembered. For starters we had the wagyu carpaccio and toro tartare, but were super fresh and flavors were perfectly balanced. For the main course we got the sticky ribs with a side of steamed rice and a couple of sushi rolls. If you haven't had their sticky ribs, it's an absolute must try. I don't know what they do to them but they are super tender fall off the bone but still have a slight crunch when you bite. The sauce/flavor is something I've never had...like a sweet teriyaki bbq of some sort. The Tom Yum Roll and Spicy Tuna roll were also great, not anything I would rant about but genuinely good and fresh. The desserts were both incredible!! The cream brûlée was sweet but not overpowering and the texture was perfect. The lava cake was nice and hot! Served with some fantastic ice cream that wasn't only vanilla, it had a hint of something! All in all it was a wonderful night, we really look forward to going back.

Everything was perfect from the service, to the ambience, to the delicious sushi, appetizers, and dessert. My friends ordered the Shishido peppers for an appetizer, and I tried if you bite and they were delicious. They weren't spicy at all, and they were very flavorful. I ordered the hokkaido roll because I am a huge fan of crab and it was delicious. I tried if you buy some Hawaiian roll and that was also very fresh and yummy, but I definitely preferred the hokkaido roll more. My one friend ordered the mushroom udon noodles and I snagged a small bite of them and they were very buttery and delicious. It did take a long time to get to the table and it was quite a small portion. My friends ordered the green tea, crème brûlée and the blueberry cheesecake and both were amazing! The Ube cheesecake was one of the best cheesecakes I've ever tasted before. It was topped with a warm marshmallow fluff, and the graham cracker crust was perfect. A bunch of my friends ordered cocktails and they all enjoyed them. Parking is a bit of a nightmare here but luckily I snagged a spot out back. They also offer valet.

My favorites: Ma-Se roll, Kao-Soi curry soup, Tomkha Kai soup, Rock shrimp appetizer, torched salmon, potstickers with curry sauce. Hubby loves the black dragon roll.
