from beginning to end, everything was 10/10! service was speedy and efficient. tried two different soups (clear broth + miso) and both were fantastic! the sushi rolls were exceptional, i was OBsessed with the VIP roll, sooooo yummy. dessert was another hit, we got classic crème brule and left the ramekin clean lol. inside was fresh, cute, and cozy! we will definitely be coming back here next time we're catching a movie next door

We came in for dinner and had a fabulous experience! The restaurant is sleek and modern. Service was fantastic. For our appetizer, we got the pan seared gyoza. They were solid and easy to share. For my entree, I got the chirashi and upgraded to the sauce and condiment paring. The presentation was gorgeous and all the protein was exceptional quality. The toppings and sauces paired beautifully with each fish. It was like an omakase experience in a bowl. It was truly a work of art. Sakari is one of my favorites!

Moriwase with chef toppings $55! Worth it, super fresh fish, great choices. We also ordered a truffle sushi roll and the sauce on the top was delicious. The restaurant was beautiful and clean, plenty of parking. I've been here twice and both times were spectacular. I would definitely recommend this places Excellent service. They have plenty of food options to choose from.

This is a good sushi restaurant if you're in the area. They offer sushi plus non-sushi items to make everyone happy. It's a bit pricey but the quality is good. For my sushi and non-sushi family, we ordered 2 bento boxes and 2 rolls. The 1st bento box we got salmon teriyaki, and the mango tango roll. The 2nd bento box we got the bulgogi and chicken teriyaki. For the sushi rows we got the dragon skin and the rock 'n' roll. Everything was delicious. Sushi tasted fresh with the rice being very soft. The bento box has enough food for 2 people to share if you're not too hungry. This is my 2nd time here and I'll definitely be back.

Stopped in for a quick dinner on a week night. We were seated right away. They had a few specials. One in particular we enjoyed was the fried yuca ball with spicy tuna on top. Very unique worth trying. We also tried the chicken Katsu bao bun with pickled vegetables. That was delicious and it came with two. We ordered two sushi rolls the triple tail, and the Lucious roll. Both were very fresh tasting, and the food came out quickly. Service was great and very attentive Overall, it was a great experience

AMBIANCE Clean, simple, and modern decor. This is a casual sushi restaurant. SERVICE Robin was our server! She was attentive and very sweet! FOOD The food was good! We enjoyed our house salad as well as the 3 sushi rolls we picked: Snow White Roll + Princess Peach Roll + Dragon Skin Roll. My favorite was the Snow White, my sister's favorite was the Princess Peach, and my mom couldn't decide whether her favorite was the Dragon Skin or the Snow White. All of them were flavorful and yummy choices.

The Sweetheart roll was the best sushi roll I've ever had, coconut shrimp & mango, it was DELECTABLE No wait, good ambiance, you can watch them make the sushi & the server was really sweet

Got the bento with teriyaki chicken and sashimi for around $33 for a quick dinner after my movie. The gyozas were tasty and so were the sashimi. The teriyaki chicken was a little dry and small. The service was great and my water was always refilled without having to ask. The ambiance is nice, a little small but interior decor is wonderful to admire. The sashimi and gyoza were tasty, but it wasn't enough to justify the price of the entire bento. I ate everything but half of the rice and was still hungry.

Sakari, Sakari, SAKARI! For a more chain based sushi spot the fish was incredibly fresh and the flavor on the other pieces of food were outstanding. Not viewed below because my mouth ate first before my camera could enjoy it but the garlic butter edamame I would simply buy buckets of it if I could because it was that good. I personally ordered the Otoro roll and the Ceviche roll (Otoro being my favorite since I am a tuna girl at heart) and know it can be a bit on the saltier side of sushi for the Otoro whereas the Ceviche roll was 100% sweeter and more on the buttery side of things. Overall very good rolls for a quick dinner night out. The ambiance was soft and sound, comfy seating and quick service that came from the sweetest little waitress. Good date night spot as well!

This is a little gem. Always high quality and top notch service. Love that the owner still is actively involved everyday as we have been coming here for years. The bento boxes are excellent value and the princess roll needs a try. It's fire. Looking forward to our next visit.

The food and service is outstanding. They were very accommodating as we went from sitting outside to inside because it was raining and then back outside once the rain stopped. It's visually appealing inside however I will say that they use Fabulosa to clean so if you don't like that smell, you definitely will want to sit outside. Sushi is fresh and well-made and the portions are perfect.

So if you're a long time Central Florida resident, then you know that street is very walkable and super cute with the park nearby but also high end. I mean it has a Williams Sonoma, like casually. The restaurant is located at 525 S Park Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789. My boyfriend did get the reservation I think about a month in advance. It very much surprised me as one of my goals is to try new places in Orlando, and this was one that he had been to that I hadn't been to. So A++++ for him. So the restaurant had a super nice atmosphere but was very booked out. There were heart balloons at every table. So the decor was absolutely in the room with us lol. The service was very nice and I feel that they were very attentive and almost felt like maybe they had been trained to provide a certain feeling to customers. I'm sure they had been. Getting into the food, I'm not sure what the bill was. I wasn't allowed to look at it. I will say that I'm sure it was at least $100. I did leave feeling very full, but I do feel like that's a lot of money for me to feel full. We ordered the Misoyaki Butterfish, which was a Miso-glazed Chilean sea bass on a plate with ginger-sake eggplant, butter garlic sautéed spinach, and Japanese potato purée. It's a large plate and we did share, but it was not the whole fish. I think if I pay $45 for a fish, I want the whole fish. My rating is 8.5/10. It was incredibly delicious, but I want the rest of my fish. We also got the Kanpungi, which was fried Korean style boneless chicken bites smothered in a spicy soy sauce glaze. My rating of this is 9/10. I think it was great and was very filling for an appetizer. We accidentally ran into our friends at the restaurant, who had sent us a bottle of sake. The sake was great. We sent back a non-alcoholic cocktail they had and a sake based cocktail. I couldn't tell you what it tasted like, but the service presented and delivered back and forth between our table in a manner I can only describe as carrier pigeon-esque. They did great. I love fanfare. I think for a first date, this is a great place to bring someone you have been talking to for a little bit and want to show that you have a good stable job in this economy and like foods outside of American food. I wasn't on a first date as a note lol. My overall rating is 7.5/10. I mean I think everything was great, but that price stabbed me a little. My boyfriend did suggest to me that it would have been a higher rating if we had gotten one of the rolls. So that's on me. It is in a great walkable neighborhood though. So you are getting charged for ambiance.

This time I went with my husband and we ordered a few small plates and an espresso martini. The espresso martini was pretty standard, but we've definitely had better. The shishito peppers were okay, but I feel like I've gotten more in the past with an order. The karaage was highly disappointing, the sauce was overwhelming and made the fried chicken coating slightly soggy. I think a dry seasoning would've paired better. The beef cheek had nice presentation, but didn't really impress with the flavor; there's better places for yakitori. The otoro we got was decent. The ribs were my favorite of the night with good sauce and they fell off the bone. And then my real favorite of the night was the ube cheesecake, so delicious and flavorful! I was thrilled that I made the choice to visit this restaurant for the first time. I was warmly greeted and seated right away. In fact, I entered right after opening time. There wasn't anything too extraordinary about this dish, but I was happy that the gyoza didn't taste stale. What really struck me was the delicious, nicely presented, tasty combination of flavors that I found in the Drama Queen roll. This roll contains spicy tuna, avocado, tempura flakes, yellowtail, jalepeno, black tobiko and spicy kimchee sauce. It was so delicious. And fresh! Way to go, Boku! I also ordered a Shrimp Tempura roll that contained avocado, butter lettuce, shrimp tempura, eel sauce and masago. I don't think I've had makimono with lettuce, but I was pleasantly surprised at the taste and texture. The interior seemed modern and had varying tones of gray. There's also a patio and you'll find a selection of beers and wine, including sake.

The place itself is very art-directed, modern and purposeful. Apparently it's owned by the Kabooki Sushi team, and the quality speaks for itself. It's not your typical sushi restaurant. It's hand rolls. Which means, seaweed is the wrap. Theirs is imported straight from Japan. And for the record, the seaweed is dense, flavorful and also way healthier for you than a mouthful of rice. I sat for the omakase which included a very delicious hamachi appetizer. Then an onslaught of handrolls including lobster, eel, a lean and fatty tuna (toro, the best) and a spicy root vegetable of the name I can't remember. In all, this place has great hours. A wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. And flavors that you can explore because the folks there want you to have fun eating the food as they prepare it. It's very live and fresh. And I'm super grateful it's just a few blocks away because I'll leave you with this. The prices are reasonable too. 5 stars all around. First off, the setting is gorgeous sitting around the chef's counter. Sitting at the very end, it felt like a private dining experience with my partner and the chefs/staff who were putting on such a show. Each course was thoughtfully explained and presented with such fine care, really making me appreciate each bite and ponder about the ingredients being used. Hearing about the hyper-local farms and what they provide was really unique, while also appreciating the fish, rice, and vinegar they import from Japan for authenticity. Overall a great blend. The food is expertly prepared, though I wish they leaned more into the sushi and Japanese inspiration for the entire evening. The fresh fish and sushi courses were the highlights of the show and make for a peculiar parallel to the later deeper flavor dishes like the braised short rib. Possibly this is averted if we had splurged on the wagyu supplement but still felt like the menu takes a turn towards the end. I can't speak more highly of the service here. The entire team was incredible throughout the entire evening with an energy and passion that only comes with this caliber of restaurant. With Sushi Saint and Perla's now all here, we did notice when we went to leave how tricky the parking lot becomes. Even with the valet, we struggled to leave with cars stacked up trying to park - would make sure you arrive with plenty of time. Definitely made the occasion feel special from start to finish. First off, book ahead. Seating is extremely limited and this is the kind of place that fills up for a reason. Chef Tony runs the counter with a level of precision and calm confidence that you immediately feel the moment you sit down. It's not just about the food, it's the pacing, the storytelling, and how intentional every course feels. The omakase flows beautifully. Nothing feels rushed, nothing feels dragged out. Each piece builds on the last. You can tell there's real thought behind the progression. The fish is pristine, but what stood out more was how balanced everything was. Clean flavors, subtle creativity, and zero gimmicks. A few bites genuinely caught me off guard in the best way. That moment where you pause and just look at the person next to you like... yeah, that was special. If you're going, get the drink pairing. It actually elevates the experience instead of just being an add-on. Everything is thoughtfully matched and enhances each course without overpowering it. Service matched the experience. Attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable without sounding scripted. The whole room feels intimate and dialed in. Chef Tony made the experience feel personal, not transactional, which is rare even at high end omakase spots. If you're in Orlando and serious about sushi, this is a must. Not just for the quality, but for the experience as a whole.
