I have found another favorite sushi place to add to the rotation list. Evidently this place has been here for I think three years now and I've never even heard of it. Not sure how that's possible but I'm glad I have found it now. The decor is prettier than the photos indicate. Has a nice date night vibe. I came here to dine with one of my besties who is also a Yelp Elite on a Sunday night, after the holidays. So, it was slower than usual and it appeared to be date night for everybody in there except for us. I ordered a lychee sake cocktail that was nicely balanced and not too sweet. We ordered two sushi rolls to share and some shrimp shumai. The garlic sauce that came with the shumai was delicious, but personally I will skip this appetizer next time. Did not love the shrimp shumai itself. However, our sushi rolls were perfect. Service was excellent, too.

Even an hour before closing the server received us so kindly. I went for a late Sunday night dinner and they did not fail to make me feel ready for the week ahead. Major emphasis on checking out the Chef Special menu with alot of Latin fusion items. Everything we ate was from that particular page. Not pictured is the Mango Tango roll which you need to hurry up and taste.

Mixed feelings after this visit on Jan 24th 2026. We waited 1 hour to get our appetizers and another hour to get our food. Everyone at my table was disappointed in the service and wait time. The sushi tasted great this night, definitely enjoy the food. The manager even admitted they were focused on uber eats orders (took away from experience in person).

I have never been to this restaurant and we decided to randomly stop by. We walked in and both host were short with us and seemed annoyed we interrupted their conversation. Our server was very kind though. All drinks are made with sake, which we didn't mind. Our drinks were refreshing (sake mojito). We each ordered a salad - wakame & krabstick salad. We also both ordered sushi - vegetable sushi roll & O-Town sushi roll. Both salads and rolls were great.

I have finally found my permanent sushi spot! We started with the edamame tossed in sweet Thai chili and garlic, and wow, it absolutely hit the spot. While I usually know exactly what I want, our waitress Jessica was a total gem, she guided my decisions on sauces and flavors, which made the experience so much better. I'm a huge fan of a good crab rangoon, but Sushi Sake has reinvented them in a way that is pure genius. Do yourself a favor and try them; just make sure to dip them in the yuzu sauce for a total flavor bomb on your tastebuds! The sushi itself was incredibly fresh and beautifully plated. And the drink... Jessica made a special mix of club soda, lime, passion fruit, and sake that was so phenomenal I had to have two. The whole place had such an amazing Saturday night vibe. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

This is becoming our go to date spot! This is definitely a great place to go for a casual dinner with people. Obviously, it's not casual like red Robin, but it's not a super formal or stuffy sushi restaurant. I have tried three rolls so far at this location : the salmon, skin roll, the Caliente roll, and the cucumber roll. I'm not a big raw fish person, so that explains my sushi selections. I love a cucumber roll and the one I got here was good. The Caliente roll was pretty good as well, though I wasn't crazy about the spring mix inside of it. Next time I go back, I'll probably ask them to make a few adjustments, but it was pretty good! The real star of the show is the vegetable fried rice. It's so good, so flavorful, and always comes out hot.

I visited last night with my best friend, around 730p and eat. My previous visit was a to go meal of their fried rice. I did order the fried rice again but this time it was the steak and lobster one for $28. The carrots were crunchy, the rice was well seasoned and it has plenty of steak and lobster pieces through. I had not eaten since noon that day so I ate 95% of it all and truly enjoyed it. My best friend ordered the volcano roll $18 and a bottle of soda $4. She enjoyed the roll too, it looked like a good sized one.

Ordered 3 rolls and 3 appetizers for a late night snack after landing at orlando airport. The rolls were a bit disappointing. The volcano roll was supposed to have baked seafood topping and ours was unbaked and cold. The shrimp tempura roll was okay. The Vanessa roll was very disappointing. The sriracha garlic edamame were very spicy. The veggie spring rolls and the egg drop soup were good. Although it's a bit overpriced for $9 for 3 spring rolls. Only positive is that they are open late and we were able to order food at 10:30 pm. Overall, will probably not order from here again just because it's pretty overpriced for the quality you receive.

Brand new staff- was really disappointing.... Sushi was rolled so loose it fell apart so quickly, vegetable tempura came with vegetable pieces so big there's no way it was fitting in anyone's mouth... All was edible but miss the old kitchen

Sushi Sake has been our go-to sushi spot for years, and it never disappoints. The vibe is relaxing with a great atmosphere--perfect for a quiet date night--and the whole place is always clean and welcoming. The service is always kind and attentive, which makes every visit even better. We've tried just about everything on the menu over the years, and this visit was no different--the sushi and hibachi were fresh, flavorful, and consistently great. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, and there's plenty of parking, which makes it super convenient. We've loved coming here for so long, and we'll definitely continue returning!

I came here for lunch with my coworker. I have been here before. The inside of the restaurant is very cute. I love the floor seating they have available. This is more of a fusion restaurant than an authentic Japanese restaurant. They play reggaeton here, I was surprised but enjoyed it. The staff here were nice and quick. I got the Hibachi Shrimp Lunch Special. It came with a Miso soup which was okay. The fried rice was good with the white sauce and I enjoyed the shrimp. The food tastes like if you were to make hibachi at home. Not bad but not quite the same. I don't think I will be returning here. The food is not bad but not great. Just doesn't taste authentic, not that it claims to be but it also does not have its own twist that makes it good.

    Spicy Conch Roll

We've been wanting to visit Sushi Sake for some time now and finally got to go for lunch. The experience was good overall. Our waitress, Bella, was amazing! She was nice and fast. The interior is a vibe and the aesthetic is nice. Plus, their chairs are super comfortable. For appetizers, we got the krab Rangoon croquettes and the tuna tartare on tostones. The appetizers were five stars! Absolutely gorgeous, flavorful, and a great portion size. The croquettes were warm with a beautiful crisp outside and gooey meaty inside. The flavor was rich and the sauce and cremas served with it really elevated the flavors. The tostones were perfection and the tartare was so bright and fresh. These two dishes were truly stunning. Perhaps the appetizers being so stellar got my expectations too high, but we were a little underwhelmed with our entrees. I got the spicy conch roll. We also had the chicken hibachi, angel roll, and stir fried noodles. The spicy conch roll was very plain and nothing too special. It was good, but the conch was a little chewy and the overall flavor was simple. The noodles had a flavor that I couldn't quite place and didn't love. The chicken hibachi was definitely the favorite. While everything was fine, it didn't wow me the way I hoped it would. There is a lot of good sushi in this area, so while my roll was perfectly fine, it wasn't a stand out compared to others. Additionally, there was only one waitress servicing the entire dining room during lunch, so service lagged a bit just because one person was doing everything. Sushi Sake is a good spot. A little more flare and an extra server would resolve any apprehension at calling this a 5 star spot.

I went all the way to Houston and met a lady that told me about this place, o couldn't wait to try it when I got back. The decor is really nice, this place can easily be a nice date spot. I ordered: Lobster Roll Chef's Specialty Roll with Lobster Temp, Asparagus, Cucumber and Avocado Topped with Our Special Crunch, Tobiko and a Touch of Spicy Mayo & Eel Sauce Pineapple Fried Rice Steak and Shrimp sautéed with Pineapple Everything was delicious, the service was just ok, nothing stood out and I didn't feel appreciated, even though there was barely anyone in there I didn't feel well tended to. The food is 5 stars service 3.

So if you're a long time Central Florida resident, then you know that street is very walkable and super cute with the park nearby but also high end. I mean it has a Williams Sonoma, like casually. The restaurant is located at 525 S Park Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789. My boyfriend did get the reservation I think about a month in advance. It very much surprised me as one of my goals is to try new places in Orlando, and this was one that he had been to that I hadn't been to. So A++++ for him. So the restaurant had a super nice atmosphere but was very booked out. There were heart balloons at every table. So the decor was absolutely in the room with us lol. The service was very nice and I feel that they were very attentive and almost felt like maybe they had been trained to provide a certain feeling to customers. I'm sure they had been. Getting into the food, I'm not sure what the bill was. I wasn't allowed to look at it. I will say that I'm sure it was at least $100. I did leave feeling very full, but I do feel like that's a lot of money for me to feel full. We ordered the Misoyaki Butterfish, which was a Miso-glazed Chilean sea bass on a plate with ginger-sake eggplant, butter garlic sautéed spinach, and Japanese potato purée. It's a large plate and we did share, but it was not the whole fish. I think if I pay $45 for a fish, I want the whole fish. My rating is 8.5/10. It was incredibly delicious, but I want the rest of my fish. We also got the Kanpungi, which was fried Korean style boneless chicken bites smothered in a spicy soy sauce glaze. My rating of this is 9/10. I think it was great and was very filling for an appetizer. We accidentally ran into our friends at the restaurant, who had sent us a bottle of sake. The sake was great. We sent back a non-alcoholic cocktail they had and a sake based cocktail. I couldn't tell you what it tasted like, but the service presented and delivered back and forth between our table in a manner I can only describe as carrier pigeon-esque. They did great. I love fanfare. I think for a first date, this is a great place to bring someone you have been talking to for a little bit and want to show that you have a good stable job in this economy and like foods outside of American food. I wasn't on a first date as a note lol. My overall rating is 7.5/10. I mean I think everything was great, but that price stabbed me a little. My boyfriend did suggest to me that it would have been a higher rating if we had gotten one of the rolls. So that's on me. It is in a great walkable neighborhood though. So you are getting charged for ambiance.

Whoever was on the aux this evening, 10 out of 10. The music was amazing and the vibes of the restaurant were immaculate. We ordered the cheezus, their signature wings, and the patatas bravas. I believe it was topped with a crispy quinoa, which was a really nice touch. I can't really do cheese so I didn't try the cheezus, but my friends loved it and said it was delicious. The vibe in The Salon is great, refined and thoughtful, but comfortable enough that you can actually relax and have a conversation.  I kicked things off with their Sake Martini (Junmai Daiginjo, Cocchi Americano, and bitters). It had that crisp bite you want from sake, but finished remarkably smooth on the palate.  From there, the food just kept delivering: Hiramasa: We started with this, and it was truly exquisite. Pristine AmberJack served with fresh tomatoes, fresh herbs, and a gochujang dashi that brought incredible depth and just the right amount of savory punch. Crab Tart: Phenomenal little bite. The crab meat was super fresh and naturally sweet, accented really nicely with leek and sunchoke.  Key West Rock Shrimp: We added this on as an extra course. It had a light dusting of coconut over a sweet stone-fruit jam base, and the balance was spot on. Wagyu: Hands down my favorite course of the night. It cut like butter, melted in your mouth, and came with a rich stout jus, charbroiled onion, and sweet potato puree. Absolutely exquisite. Dessert: Wrapped up with a rich chocolate pâte à choux with chocolate ganache, complete with a birthday candle. Beyond the food, the service really made the night. Our server was attentive, down to earth, and great to chat with throughout the meal. I do want to preface this review with the fact that I came for Magical Dining so the experience…read moremight be completely different for others, however, I do believe this is equally justified rating as some of these things would likely be the same regardless. We got to our reservation and were seated at the bar. The restaurant has less traditional seating with a cool ambiance similar to eating at a nice upscale house. There was lounge seating, regular bar seating, a chefs table bar seating area and only a couple of standard tables. The food was good, but a bit underwhelming. My first course was the scallop dish. It was quite acidic for my liking, but was a balanced dish. The hiramasa that my fiancee got for her first course was probably the best thing we had and was balanced. The fish had a good salt balance and the tomato was well balanced. Even with how much oil appears on the plate, it was perfect in my opinion. The Australian wagyu for the second course was my biggest crux of the meal as it was good, but the wagyu itself isn't like other wagyu I've had and is more in line with other cuts I've had. The sweet potato puree was velvety and great texture, the onion had a great char and the sauce was great but it feels like the dish didn't go together. Everything was so sweet and having everything together was unpleasant in my opinion. The dark chocolate dessert was the best part of my meal as it was balanced and not overly sweet. The cherries were so good and the cream inside of the choux was creamy and delicious. I will say, even though everything was reasonably tasty and you could see the preparation in this meal was at a higher standard, I left this meal a bit hungry and underwhelmed which is a bit sad considering it was a $60 option for magical dining. Two other major qualms for me was a 22% service charge and the ac being out. The service charge isn't very present prior and is only on the menu. I also thought there would come more to the service portion like you see on TV where you're explained the inspirations for the dishes etc, but I'd say the service, while good, wasn't anything that warranted it being higher than normal. For the ac portion, we weren't notified the ac was out prior to coming which at this kind of establishment is a bit disappointing. I read other reviews after and it's been out for some time so a notice would've been nice. It's felt when you walk in and I was visibly sweating at times as we sat for longer. All in all, I am a believer that there are off days for restaurants and that they should be given other attempts, but at the price point this is at outside of magical dining, it will likely not get a return from me.

First off, the setting is gorgeous sitting around the chef's counter. Sitting at the very end, it felt like a private dining experience with my partner and the chefs/staff who were putting on such a show. Each course was thoughtfully explained and presented with such fine care, really making me appreciate each bite and ponder about the ingredients being used. Hearing about the hyper-local farms and what they provide was really unique, while also appreciating the fish, rice, and vinegar they import from Japan for authenticity. Overall a great blend. The food is expertly prepared, though I wish they leaned more into the sushi and Japanese inspiration for the entire evening. The fresh fish and sushi courses were the highlights of the show and make for a peculiar parallel to the later deeper flavor dishes like the braised short rib. Possibly this is averted if we had splurged on the wagyu supplement but still felt like the menu takes a turn towards the end. I can't speak more highly of the service here. The entire team was incredible throughout the entire evening with an energy and passion that only comes with this caliber of restaurant. With Sushi Saint and Perla's now all here, we did notice when we went to leave how tricky the parking lot becomes. Even with the valet, we struggled to leave with cars stacked up trying to park - would make sure you arrive with plenty of time. Overall, Soseki was a great experience and worth its most recent star and price. We had incredible food served by impressive people that made for an amazing celebration.

Definitely made the occasion feel special from start to finish. First off, book ahead. Seating is extremely limited and this is the kind of place that fills up for a reason. Chef Tony runs the counter with a level of precision and calm confidence that you immediately feel the moment you sit down. It's not just about the food, it's the pacing, the storytelling, and how intentional every course feels. The omakase flows beautifully. Nothing feels rushed, nothing feels dragged out. Each piece builds on the last. You can tell there's real thought behind the progression. The fish is pristine, but what stood out more was how balanced everything was. Clean flavors, subtle creativity, and zero gimmicks. A few bites genuinely caught me off guard in the best way. That moment where you pause and just look at the person next to you like... yeah, that was special. If you're going, get the drink pairing. It actually elevates the experience instead of just being an add-on. Everything is thoughtfully matched and enhances each course without overpowering it. Service matched the experience. Attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable without sounding scripted. The whole room feels intimate and dialed in. Chef Tony made the experience feel personal, not transactional, which is rare even at high end omakase spots. If you're in Orlando and serious about sushi, this is a must. Not just for the quality, but for the experience as a whole.
