    Tuna Set starting 4 (:

Their $65 seasonal omakase is nothing short of a delicacy! Still standing tall as Orlando's best sushi restaurant their remarkable team simply gave us a new reason to be excited for Mondays to book your reservation! The attention to detail and flavor profile of their new season menu is exactly what you want in an omakase experience: artistry, delicate flavor palette, and an experience that will have you ready to book again. 15/10 across the board!

If I had to rank my favorite omakase experiences in Orlando, this intimate sushi counter easily takes my #2 spot -- right behind Norigami Sushi in Winter Garden. Every visit feels lively, personal, and completely immersive... there's truly never a dull moment here. Reservations are notoriously difficult to secure, which honestly adds to the exclusivity of the experience. You'll likely find yourself standing at the counter -- and yes, even after a long 13-14 hour shift, it's still worth every second. The chefs create an environment that feels more like a conversation among friends than a formal dining service. Expect storytelling, laughter, and a genuine connection that elevates the entire evening. The sushi speaks for itself: pristine fish, thoughtful pacing, and beautifully balanced bites that highlight both traditional technique and modern creativity. Each course feels intentional, allowing the natural freshness and texture to shine. Pair that with attentive, personable service and a vibrant "grapevine" atmosphere across the counter, and you have an experience that goes beyond just eating -- it becomes a memory. This is definitely a splurge-worthy destination, but one I keep coming back to in my mind long after the last piece is served. If I were a millionaire, I'd probably make this a monthly ritual without hesitation. For sushi lovers in Orlando looking for an elevated omakase with personality and heart -- highly, highly recommended.

Well this is just the best sushi in Orlando. If you're looking for a unique sushi experience that will ruin all other sushi spots, this is the place. EdoBoy offers hour-long dining sessions for 8 people that are capped at 12 pieces of sushi (plus soup and a dessert). Standing the entire time, you are face to face with your sushi chef and can watch the whole show. Black walls and countertops set calm the vibe. If you're unsure of how to order or want them to drive, predetermined sushi sets are available as well. I'm a sucker for the fatty, melty toro, so that tends to be 4/12 of my pieces. My remaining nigiri is chosen in moment. ALWAYS get the soup - it's a miso soup with broth made from the freshly cleaned fish bones of the day. Reservations are open for the immediate week at noon on Monday. Gotta be quick with the Resy! Pro tip - follow their Instagram as they tend to post last minute cancellations. Especially nice for single riders.

Always a five star experience. The staff is always engaging and such a unique concept with the standing bar. We tried the new seasonal omakase and it was the perfect course to try all of our favorite pieces at a very decent price. The strawberry matcha smores was the perfect finish! Reservations are extremely hard to grab since it's an 8 person standing bar so prepare to be flexible or set your alarm for Mondays at noon.

Reservation only (Monday at 12pm) with decent sushi at a reasonable price. Enjoyed the uni, sweet shrimp, toro, and scallop. The servers and chefs were pretty friendly and had a special sign to help congratulate our anniversary which is a nice touch. I do wonder why they don't allow people to sit on a stool or chair though since the counters are at the right height and eating pieces of sushi doesn't take much time since mostly waiting for the chefs to assemble it. For some of the pieces, it would be better if they went lighter on the sauces so not everything tasted on the saltier side.

Edo boy was such a fun experience. We went to celebrate a birthday and have a lovely chill night. The quality of sushi and ingredient creations were great. Loved the torched fish and the hand rolls were more filling than expected. Had about 9-10 items and thought it was perfect unless you're completely starving. Would recommend and return!

Best sushi spot in Orlando, hands down. I love the Edoboy crew and happy to call myself a regular. I love bringing friends for the first time and seeing their reactions to the high quality fish and experience. The 8-person standing sushi bar creates a fun, communal vibe-perfect for a date, hanging with family/ friends or even chatting with the strangers/ staff next to you. Pro tip: grab the whole bar with friends for an hour and it becomes a private sushi party. And don't skip the miso soup-it's the best you'll ever have.

Torched and regular Nigiri - left or right (torched Maguro Kabayaki, Madai, regular Madai)

If you love high-quality sushi at a great price, Edoboy is an absolute must in Orlando. This 8-person standing sushi bar delivers big flavor in a small space, and trust me, set your alarm. Reservations drop at noon every Monday and they go fast. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel like a regular. They're warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about every piece that hits the counter. Watching the chefs prepare each bite fresh in front of you only adds to the experience! It makes the experience feel intentional, personal, and elevated. Special shoutout to the best sushi chef, Alex! On the nigiri menu, the Toro (bluefin fatty tuna) is pure melt-in-your-mouth perfection. A few of my top picks: The Madai (Japanese sea bream) is clean and delicate, and the Shima Aji (Japanese stripe jack) has that beautiful balance of richness and brightness. If you're venturing into the torched nigiri (which you absolutely should), don't skip the Madai with uni butter, the Maguro Kabayaki (bluefin tuna with kabayaki sauce, sea salt, and chives), or the Aka Ebi (sweet red prawn with uni butter)! And whatever you do, do not leave without the miso soup as your finisher. It's the perfect warm, savory close to the meal. Pair your sushi with one of their Japanese beers, sake selections, or wines, and you're set. They've also just launched a seasonal omakase for $65 that I'm already planning to try next time. Edoboy isn't just dinner; it's an experience. Fresh fish, great vibes, and a front-row seat to the craft. A true Orlando gem! Run, don't walk!

Our group of 6 came here for dinner and had a great time. It's definitely not traditional omakase in the sense that you are choosing your pieces or set, and the music and ambience is also not traditional. It's a chill standing bar with two sushi chefs. You order by marking a maximum of 12 pieces a la carte or choosing the set that you want. The dassai blue sake was featured that day, and it was nice and sweet. We also had the choya yuzu soda which was delicious, and I didn't know that brand made anything not plum-related. I opted for a la carte ordering. My favorite pieces were the uni (sadly they were out of the Hokkaido uni) which was really buttery and sweet, yellowtail, sea bream, and scallop with uni. But all of the pieces were fresh and delicious other than the salmon roe, which was super salty. The miso soup had a depth of flavor added to it by the various fish bones they used to make the broth. Some people in our group had the baller set, and some had one of the other sets with some additional pieces, and everyone enjoyed their meal. I would come back and order less pieces next time so I have room for dessert, which was a matcha smores. The service was friendly and not intrusive. It's not a fancy place and you are standing the whole time, but it was a good experience and at a reasonable price.

Came back again for EDOBOY and it's just as good as ever (I wrote this updated review before I realized I already reviewed this place lol...still gets a 5 star from me) It has the flavor and care of a really good omakase without the pretentiousness or a hefty price tag. An order of 12 pieces will run you about $80 per person. It's a standing sushi bar (no seats) and fits about 8 persons per seating, which is usually every hour from 4-9pm. Dress casually. The ambiance is very casual. Reservations are a necessity! No reservation, no seat. All of the sashimi quality is excellent. So fresh and generously sliced. But what sets EDOBOY apart from a typical nigiri experience, is how they craft every piece. The treatment of the fish and its accompaniments - whether it's uni butter or flavored salt or foie gras - complement the sashimi so well. Every piece is incredibly flavorful and unique. Even the rice has a special sauce which makes it super umami. Since it's a standing sushi bar and reservations are back-to-back, the time limit to eat is an hour. It's essentially the amount of time the chef takes to make 12 pieces of sushi per person, so the limit to order is 12 pieces (not including soup or dessert). If time permits, they'll let you order more nigiri. Don't skip out on the soup or dessert by the way. The soup is beautifully made with fish collar and the dessert, typically a matcha smore, is made in house as well. Can't wait to be back! (Hopefully soon) Pro tip: don't know what to order? You can view photos of each nigiri on their online menu.

My oh my my is this place good! No words just pics!! Literally so so amazing. From the sushi, to the sake, to the dessert!! Unbelievable!!

    Ulli H.

One piece of sushi for the price of two. It's a Michelin-recommended restaurant so the final bill made sense. 12 piece limit per person. It's good fresh fish, however, I found some pieces lacking flavor. It was overall an enjoyable meal but I don't think I would return. The chefs and server were very nice. The hour time limit seems short, but standing much longer gets tiring. It all felt a bit rushed. I can see the allure and unique selling point this place has and why it attracts a lot of guests - it wasn't for me.

    Simran B.

We were lucky enough to get a reservation for edoboy on a Saturday for before a soccer game. I am so incredibly impressed by this place. It's definitely small, and you all stand around the area where everything is prepared, but I loved watching the chefs work with the fish. We had a friendly host who did a great job explaining the whole process to us. You're limited to 12 pieces, and I know that sounds like it's not enough food, but it's totally enough. I got a miso soup, a full 12 pieces, and a caviar bump. I also indulged in a can of their sake. Their miso soup was pretty epic. My favorite bites were probably the scallop uni and the yellowtail. When I inevitably return because this place is amazing, I will probably skip the hand rolls because they didn't necessarily deliver the bang for their buck. I also tried the sweet shrimp because I'd never had raw shrimp, but I found it a little sweet for me. That'll be a skip next time for me, but it was definitely worth trying. I loved the ikura too, and next time I'll probably get some more tuna next time since I only had the fatty, but the lean looked amazing too. They also have house pickled ginger which is awesome. I know this place can seem intimidating with their exclusivity, but I promise you that it's worth it. I'm excited to go back soon!

There was a guy waiting for his order to go, another guy waiting to eat by himself, and another lady also waiting to eat by herself. There was some interview going on between two guys- sounded like it was about the restaurant as I heard them talking about kimchi fried rice. It sounded so good, I ordered that with shrimp.
