Everything was delicious and fresh. Beautifully plated and delivered with a smile! Absolutely delicious food just like I remembered!

I came in for the $6 sushi and got the mex sushi it was so good also got a shaken lemonade which was really good as well :)

Pork Egg Rolls

The food was decent, the egg rolls were hot I do wish the main meal (orange chicken) was a bit hotter. Plus side the food came out fairly quick! And since I was by work it was a plus. I do have to say the service it self like to order was very slow. My party and I were standing at the counter for quite some time before being helped. I could tell they were not staffed which I totally understand but just putting it out there. And with that being said there were a few tables that still had plates and not cleaned from previous parties. The bathroom was not cleaned at all. So I would recommend order and take out. I feel like if they had more staff this wouldn't really be an issue.

Bento Downtown was great nice lunch spot. I have the chicken bowl. It was good. Service was nice and fast. We sat down and at there. Restaurant was clean. The young lady that bought out the food was a bit brief and fast but it was overall great service. I will return

I eat here when I'm downtown pretty often. It's also my go-to for delivery sushi, mainly because they seem to get the order right more often than not. The sushi is quick service level sushi. It is just above super market, however that is reflected in the price. $8-$10 for a classic 8 piece roll in Orlando is a steal. Their bowls are all pretty good, and I actually think they are better reheated. You order at the counter and then have a seat. After a night of fun downtown it's simple, easy, and quick. Tip: always get the crab Rangoon, they are great here

I have been going to bento for years but recently my last experience will make me want to come back to the DT location more often . We sat at the sushi bar and the sushi chef was more than accommodating . I told him my bf was not a sushi lover and he took it as a challenge and made us a sushi type sandwhich to try it was amazing and my bf loved it . The other food came out so fast and the servers were quick and happy to any of our other requests . We also used the app and got to take home a friend rice for free . Love this place for fast service Asian fusion !! I got the pad Thai which you can never go wrong with .

First time here did not disappoint! I came with my dad for lunch, and we decided on ordering the sesame chicken stir fry and the pad thai. Both dishes dishes were absolutely delicious we kept taking bites of each others! The staff was very friendly, and our food came out quickly. Everything was so yummy! Would recommend this place and can't wait to come back!

A great spot for sushi. It has a casual vibe to it and is perfect if you're looking for a quick bite to eat before going downtown. They offer sushi, poke bowls, stir fry and noodles dishes. My go-to is the sushi however I've tried the poke bowls and the teriyaki chicken dish. All were a hit. The food is pretty consistent among all of the bento locations. The fish is fresh. The servers are nice and helpful. They are knowledgeable of the menu and a happy to make recommendations. I went with a couple friends and they didn't really know what to get the server at the front was very helpful with making selections. It is a small location so I'm sure it does get busy at times. We went at around 8:00 p.m. so there wasn't many people there. We had about a 15 minute wait for our food. When we went the women's restroom was closed so they were down to one toilet. Pro tip come on the weekdays for their happy hour special of buy two classic rolls get one free.

Shanghai Lo Mein

I'm a noodle gal and have ordered from Bento at another location before. My previous order was too saucy and unbalanced but this location really met the mark! The Shanghai Lo Mein with chicken was delicious and made just right. I went at the beginning of the downtown lunch rush, so there was an understandable wait. The staff I interacted with was very friendly.

I will say two things about this Bento location. 1. Their takeout is about the worse thing I have ever seen. I waited a full 30 minutes longer than I was told it would be for my takeout order. But, that actually holds true for all three Bento locations I've ever done takeout at. So, a word of advice, if you're ordering takeout from a Bento, tell them you want to pick up the food 30 minutes before you actually want it. I'm not kidding. 2. Once you finally get your food, Bento has the best quick service sushi in the entire Central Florida area. I do not remember what rolls I got that day, but you can check the picture to see how bright and vibrant they look. All of the seafood tasted fresh and had a good texture. The sauces and herbs they used were not too much, and complemented flavors well. And the little crunchy things they put on that one roll were genius. Sushi roll's biggest lacking sometimes is texture, so these flavorless little balls of crunch were perfect. Overall, four stars is the perfect way to describe this place. Not perfect, but still amazingly delicious.

Miso soup, veggie rolls, bento box

I'm going to start by saying I will never patron at any bento again. I don't remember what time we arrived but it took about 20 mins to get our food. There were other ppl waiting for their orders so it could've been a bit longer. By 10:30 they had turned off the lights in the entire place. We were still eating. The food was decent, the only reason I'm giving more than one star. They also offer beer, seltzers, & wine. I enjoyed the garlic string beans & miso soup. The rice & noodles didn't have much flavor. The spring rolls were greasy but I am glad they were veggie ones. The wontons could've been better. We asked for no avocado in our sushi roll. We sent it back but didn't want to wait for a remake. A bit pricey for the portions. The place seemed clean but overall not a good experience.

Shrimp fried rice
Nicole N.

Food is consistent every time I go. Sushi can take some time to come out but the ambiance is nice to pass the time. Staff is friendly. No lunch specials so that can run pretty pricey as there's not much under $15

Poke Bowl with Krab Sticks

Bento is BOMB!! I'm absolutely obsessed with Bento Asian Kitchen. I am a basic sushi lover. For the longest I would only eat California rolls. Now that Bento has come into my life I have ventured out of my comfort zone. Tonight I arrived at their poké bowl and I loved it so much. The ingredients at Bento are so fresh. Like SHIITake mushrooms how have I been missing this my entire life. Also, I was sick today and realized that this is the perfect meal when you need to put something in your stomach but cannot have lots of sugars or dairy. Fresh and filling.

Ask the Community - Bento Downtown - Orlando

Does this place not UberEats/Postmates boba anymore along with food?

Hi Isabella, the Bento location in Downtown does not have Boba tea at all unfortunately! Our other Bento locations in Sandlake, UCF, and Winter Park do have them available and they should be available via third party delivery if available!

Do they use MSG?

My favorites were the mac and cheese, prime rib, shrimp (they were HUGE), crab legs, and the tableside cinnamon bun dessert -- honestly worth the trip just for that. My only downside was that the oysters didn't taste very fresh. Overall, the ambiance was beautiful and it's a perfect brunch spot for a date or a family outing. Definitely a lovely Sunday experience!

My only complaint of the evening is our appetizers seemed to take a tad bit long to be served, but everything else was fabulous. I ordered the tequila lavender cocktail, which is nothing like I've ever tasted before. It had coconut cream, lime, tequila, and lavender. It was delicious. We started off by sharing a Caesar salad and Parmesan truffle fries. We also were served bread service with a side of garlic oil. The caesar salad was served with a Parmesan pita crisp, and the fries were very crunchy and delicious. We split two entrees: the salmon and the vegan stuffed shells. The stuffed shells were fairly small, with only 4 in the entree, but was nonetheless flavorful and delicious. I almost forgot it was vegan! The salmon was a large cut and served over a creamy risotto and was my favorite of the evening. It was delicious. We ordered the lava cake for dessert and Bojan went the extra mile by placing a birthday candle inside of it and ended up providing the dessert on the house! This was so special and we appreciated it so much.

They have a little sign by the street to help you find it/advertising, as it's in the hallway of the plaza. It's on the ground level so we didn't have to take any stairs or elevator. Upon entry, there was no one to greet us. We headed to the register where they had a bunch of menus and pictures. While we were looking, the lady came out from the back with food items for someone who was already seated. Everything looked good. There was a guy waiting for his order to go, another guy waiting to eat by himself, and another lady also waiting to eat by herself. There was some interview going on between two guys- sounded like it was about the restaurant as I heard them talking about kimchi fried rice. It sounded so good, I ordered that with shrimp. Mom had the bento box lunch. We asked for two cups for water, which she said she would bring to us. We sat for awhile, and saw the others and the to go person get their food. The water cups did not come until after she brought us our food. Maybe that's the way they do it? Anyhow- our food was out in a reasonable time and everything was delicious. I tried some of mom's beef bento box- she got the bulgogi beef and we were both a little shocked that it was ground beef and not thin slices, but the flavor was spot on. My mom did not finish her lunch and I had a small portion of rice left. When I asked for one to go box- the lady almost seemed upset that I didn't want two! She asked me what about my leftovers? To which I said my mom was taking everything in one box. lol. We don't like to waste and I wasn't going to toss mine but it seemed silly to get another box for the little bit of rice I had. So we put it all in one. We paid at the register and took our box. There are many more items on the menu I'd like to try. My mom was pretty impressed with the place. It's nothing to look at, really, but the food is good and she will probably bring her friends here for lunch.

Our recent visit was no exception, thanks to our attentive and friendly server, Eric. However, the food is average and not the main draw. You're really paying for the overall experience, which includes all-you-can-eat and drink (beer, wine, and soda). At $105 per person, it may seem steep, but considering the prices at Kia center, it's somewhat a decent value. My one complaint is aimed at management who allow non-dining guests to enter the restaurant and dining area. By not creating a barrier, separating the area between the bar and dining area, people throughout the game kept walking to our table to video, watch and take pictures of the game, even though they did not have reservations to allow them in dining area. This poor control of guests who have no reservations can be distracting and intrusive. As someone paying $200 for a dinner and show experience, I don't want strangers hovering over my table or disrupting my meal. The dining area should be reserved for paying customers. Overall, this restaurant is a great choice for a fun and unique night out. Just be aware of the potential distractions, and hopefully, management will take steps to address this issue. Still, I recommend this restaurant for a date night or a hangout with friends!
