Super cool spot very unique great little intimate bar craft cocktails beer cool environment check it out. It's sweet.
Packwoods is a small, hip cocktail bar in "Maitland Social," a little food hall-ish place with a Foxtail Coffee, a sushi bar, and a pizza parlor. (I gather you can order food from the neighboring restaurants while drinking here.) It reminds me of The Courtesy in Winter Park--which I definitely mean as a compliment. The drinks are inventive, well-crafted, and well-presented, and the service is friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. The drink menu the night I went was divided into sections: effervescent, shaken, stirred, and "exploring technique." I had two drinks: the "Siam Silk" is a tiki-ish riff on a clarified milk punch using cognac, a rum blend, and Thai iced tea with fruit; the other drink I had was a low-ABV riff on a Sherry Cobbler. They were both great, and I appreciate that they have a creative low/no-alcohol portion of the menu. This was definitely a pleasant surprise to find up north of Orlando, although perhaps I shouldn't have been surprised at all--Maitland has another one of my favorite bars in the metro area (Permanent Vacation). I'll definitely be back.

This was a very nice small cocktail lounge with a cozy and intimate feel. There were a few two table toppers in the middle, a bar, and a long booth in the back with tables for larger parties. You just sat down wherever you liked and a staff member came over, brought us water, and took our orders. We came the day of the derby and they really leaned into the theme with decorations, complimentary drink coozies and fans, and special drink options, which made the experience feel fun and thoughtful. The service was attentive and welcoming.
Great addition to Maitland! First time coming to this vibe-y cocktail bar. All of the drinks were interesting and special. My favorite was the bonfire weather! All in all, a great spot to grab a drink before dinner. We will be back
My fiancée and I wanted one more drink before heading home from date night and were absolutely delighted to try Packwoods! We were looking for an intimate place with good vibes and good drinks, and Packwoods delivered in every way. Walking into their cozy space instantly puts you at ease, featuring cozy chairs, low lighting and music, and a truly beautiful bar. Their extensive cocktail menu walks you through different cocktails and mocktails sorted by your choice of liquor, with wime and beer available as well. It also provides rankings of their offerings from light to boozy, dry to sweet, and fruity to umami. Our fantastic bartender, Rob, made our drinks quickly and well, on top of keeping our water glasses full all evening. I got the Domino Effect, their take on an espresso martini, and it was just spectacular. With smooth notes of chocolate and a beautiful foamy layer on top, it absolutely scratched my post-dinner coffee itch. My fiancée ordered the Third Wheel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Its citrus notes and thick foam were complex, but still approachable. I'm incredibly excited to return to Packwoods, wether it be for another date, a catch up with a friend, or even a solo night out.
We loved this cocktail bar. We stopped by for about an hour and had a couple drinks. They have happy hour Monday to Friday and all da happy hour Thursdays. Industry night is Monday, like most places, but includes healthcare workers! Cocktails are craft and delicious. Prices are pretty standard $15-$17. Decor is nice and seats are comfortable. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Restroom is key entry and shared among the sushi and pizza place but each restroom has multiple stalls. Service from Robert was fantastic. There were two other guys working as well. There was a cocktail event the night prior. We will have to follow them to learn more about these fun events. You can buy any bottle behind the bar. Amazing. We will be back.
Packwoods is one of my favorite establishments! I love experimenting with the different drinks and going off of the recommendations from the staff. The drinks are thoughtfully made and very tasty. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It's a plus to be able to order food from the neighboring restaurants. Packwoods should be on everyone's much try list.
Stopped by Packwoods for happy hour with coworkers on a Friday. I have been once before in the evening. We were a party of 8. We found seating easily and were able to pull up a 2nd table to accommodate our party. There are a few happy hour drinks on the menu. I ordered from the holiday menu. The coquito caught my eye. It was very good. Every drink I've had is good. There is not food served here but since packwoods is located in a food hall, you are allowed to order food and bring it over to eat which is great. Had a fun time here and would definitely recommend for drinks!
I have to say I was pretty impressed with this place. I didn't expect much, but the bartenders are true mixologist and you never wait very long for a drink even when it's packed, they have someone running the floor and even tending to the tables outside. Apparently there's a wave sushi next-door and a pizzeria in the same complex so don't worry about forgetting to grab dinner before during or vice versa. Came here on a Friday night. It was fairly busy, but the turnover is pretty quick when it comes to seating and we were able to snag a spot at the bar. Bartenders are friendly and engaging, quick and knowledgeable. One of the bartenders even makes his own clarified alcohol, which is a true labor of love. The vibe is classy. The drinks are solid. The choices are ample and if you don't find something you want on the menu, just let the bartenders know for my second drink. I wanted something it's a little coffee flavor. I said I don't tequila and I don't vodka so no espresso martinis . I don't mind a good smoky, but I don't want the same old stuff. The bartender made me a drink that will be featured on the Valentine's Day menu and it was delicious. It looks like an old-fashioned but better.
My small group stopped in at Packwoods after dinner and I'm so glad we did! The cocktail menu has a lot to pick from and was slightly intimated but our amazing server helped guide us through our best options after he learned about each person's preferences. He was so patient and kind, taking the time to make us feel welcomed and that he truly cared about giving us the best experience. The bar is small, so if you have a large group I would recommend coming during off peak hours to make sure you can sit together. Parking is in a small flat lot but it is shared with several other businesses, so it does fill up. I would recommend taking an Uber if you're going to be drinking anyway though.
Wanna go to a bar where everybody knows your name without the "dive bar" vibe? Then this is your spot! No shade to Sam Malone... The staff here, like our server Alex, will make you feel right at home. He won't just ask you what you want from the menu, but he'll ask you what flavors your going for, how strong of a drink you like, and then from there will curate his recommendations accordingly. Best drink rec I have is the Finders Fee. It's light, crisp, dry and made from Pisco and a bunch of other stuff that Alex gave a 2 min elevator pitch on that would've gained an investment from me if we were on shark tank!
My best friend and I went here for a girls night recently and really loved the look of the bar and the bartender who served us was friendly. Our drink were very tasty as well and the menu definitely has me coming back wanting to try more. We came on a night that someone was having a birthday party which we were told was unusual and it was very packed and loud. I definitely want to come back again when it's a little more relaxed because it seems like a great spot.

This is such a random and beautiful bar! I'd heard rumblings about it and finally got to stop in for some drinks. It's unsuspecting in the plaza in Maitland, but the interior space for the bar itself is excellent. It's not a big area, but there's lots of bar seats and quite a few tables. I never would have found it just randomly driving by, but so glad it exists. The cocktails were *phenomenal*. Truly. My parents and I met Noah at another location last year, and were excited to see him working here. These guys take their beverages very seriously and don't play games when it comes to flavor. We had great service, a lot of fun, a lot of drinks, and made great memories. Can't recommend coming by here enough! read more

Packwoods is a great spot if you're looking to grab a few drinks in Maitland. We stopped in after dinner since it's conveniently located right across from Wave Sushi, and it was the perfect place to continue the evening with a couple of cocktails. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it easy to sit back and enjoy our drinks. While they don't serve food, it's an ideal stop before or after a meal at one of the nearby restaurants. If you're in the area and looking for a place to unwind with a good cocktail, Packwoods is definitely worth checking out. read more

Another great experience at Packwoods! This time, I tried the Jazar Za'atar, which had gin, Amaro, Za'atar spiced carrot, honey, orange, and lemon. It was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and earthy. My boyfriend got the Domino Effect and loved it too. Service can be a little slow, but it's a bar. You know how it is. The location has a great ambience and you can order food from neighboring restaurants. Be sure to check them out for some solid craft cocktails. read more

I loved our whole experience at Packwoods! The bar was busy, every table full, and there was little standing room to try to order. Within not even one minute of walking in, a server provided us with a menu and said they'd be back around to take our order. I just want to say -- I LOVE their menus. They include an icon of the type of glass it will be served in... sometimes I want to know if I'm getting more or less liquid to drink ha! AND they had a sliding scale for the boozy, sweet and umami parts of the cocktail. As someone who does not enjoy sweet cocktails and loves more spirit-forward, this was super helpful! The server did come back as promised, and we both ordered the OG Martinis. We let them know we'd sitting outside, and before our martinis arrived, another server brought 2 waters! I was so grateful. Then not too much longer after, our martinis were brought out. After maybe less than 10 minutes of sitting outside (we had not finished our first round), the server comes out to let us know there is a table for 2 that opened up inside! It was so thoughtful cause you know Florida humidity. Our next drinks were the Spill the Tea and the Witty Bastard. We enjoyed them both! Most of the cocktails are between $14-$15, so a lil pricey but they do have a happy hour I want to check out! Service, drinks and atmosphere were phenomenal. read more

First time here. Loved the atmosphere and the drinks were equally yummy. My friend and I decided to sit at the bar and order food from next door. On Thursday, they have happy hour drinks all day. The drinks were phenomenal. I ordered my usual go to, an old fashioned and it was delicious, The bartenders were good and can make pretty much any drink you ask, My friend ordered the dirty martini and she said it was really good. This is a really cool bar with great atmosphere and good service. I will def be back. read more
Located in a food hall this bar/ lounge gives a midcentury vibe. Very swanky. I loved how you can order food at the different restaurants and your food will be delivered directly to you. Tour server was a blast. Great conversation and recommendations. They are a true craft cocktail bar. They even have a pickle martini. I will be back soon. read more
Awesome new cocktail bar addition to the Maitland area! Packwoods is a new concept coming from Thriving Hospitality, located in a shared building space next to Foxtail, the Wave Sushi, and Pizza Bruno. Interior is well designed and their liquor selection is expansive. They have some Happy Hour specials as well. We ended up having a few cocktails which were excellently hand crafted and expertly prepared. Also tried a few pours of some of their rum collection. The hospitality and service from the bartenders was amazing. They were super friendly and attentive. Fun visit to Packwoods and a lovely new addition to the area! read more

Packwoods is a new local bar in Maitland. It is quite cute. Very on trend with the mid-century modern infused decor. There's a decent amount of seating indoors and outdoors, but it does get a bit busy as it shares a building with a few other eateries. So, this cuts into some available parking, which got a little tricky when meeting up with a few friends for a girls' night out on Friday. However, outside of that, it's worth the visit. It's a full-service bar (no food service - but again, in the same building, there are a few other eateries, so if you are hungry, you can mosey on over to any of those spots without having to leave the building). They have a unique specialty cocktail menu that offers a play on some traditional / classics cocktails. Otherwise, you can stick to ordering your tried-and-true cocktail favs. The staff are fun and kind. The service is quick, which is great, especially when it gets busy. It is a good happy hour spot and a nice place to start your night or end your night, depending on how your night goes. Visit them if you haven't done so already. Final Note: Pricing is standard for cocktails. read more

I have been to Packwoods twice now. I have enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks. This week we celebrated Galentines there and Alex helped us all pick the perfect cocktails! I also like that Pizza Bruno & Wave Sushi are right there if we get hungry. read more
This was my first time stopping by, and what a positive experience! Because of its cozy and classy atmosphere and location, it didn't feel like "just a bar", rather an elevated and welcoming place at the Maitland Social where you can enjoy drinks from Packwoods and food from the other Maitland Social spots. My friends and I got Pizza Bruno. The bartenders were great -- friendly and nice -- and when I didn't know what I wanted, I gave a few of my preferences, and they improvised creating a cocktail that was spot on perfect. It's definitely a charming neighborhood spot that I wish was closer to me! read more
Swanky little bar in what I call Maitlands mini food hall. Shares the space with Wave sushi and Pizza Bruno. It's the first to the left when you enter and you are instantly transported to a stylish, cozy and inviting space. We opted to sit in the middle end with the swivel velvet chairs which were very comfy. The bartender Alex came over, gave us some time to review the menu and then offered suggestions. I went for about last night and hubby went for the old fashioned. The aromatics of my drink was soooo nice. You got all these pretty citrus notes hitting you before you even take a sip. The drink itself was okay and to my surprise lighter than I anticipated being that it was a reposed and mezcal mix. I'll definitely be back to try other cocktails. Of note, a 20% gratuity is included in all bills and they have a full bar so you can definitely pick your own poison if nothing tickles your fancy. read more

Packwards Bar hits the mark for Maitland. Thoughtful cocktails, a sleek-but-comfortable space, and while the bar itself doesn't offer food, you're surrounded by great choices -- pizza, sushi, and more just steps away. I'm so excited we have a new craft cocktail spot in Maitland! My husband and I decided to pop in for a quick drink before dinner to check it out, and I'm so glad we did -- we already know we'll be regulars. The vibe is super chill and welcoming, not stuffy or intimidating like some craft cocktail places can be. A lot of that is thanks to Chris, our bartender -- he was awesome. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and seriously knows his stuff when it comes to spirits. My husband was geeking out over their tequila and whiskey selection -- they had bottles he usually has a hard time finding. We ended up loving it so much that after dinner we actually swung back for one more round before heading home. It's a small space but I loved the huge glass windows which made it feel a lot bigger. Cozy couches and seating areas. A nice bar area with comfortable chairs. Definitely recommend for a date night. Already looking forward to our next visit... happy hour is calling! read more

Love this place and so glad this little gem has arrived in Maitland! Their cocktail list is fantastic, super detailed and has lots of options for very reasonable prices. The staff are extremely friendly and take time and effort to make sure your cocktail is made to perfection! Ordered the Cats Pajamas and the Mucho Gusto! They were delicious! They do not serve food, but you can bring in food from Wave and Pizza Bruno! Looking forward to returning!! read more

Casual chic bar with outdoor and indoor seating. This place is great for socializing before or after dinner. It's a full bar with no food service however the seats are very comfortable and has many areas to sit down and relax. The service was quick. The place offers plenty of parking. Easy to locate read more
