The entire place is so well decorated and if you look around there's tons of fun details and decor. The menu is made up of a map and they provide everyone with their own personal flashlight to see it. When you order certain drinks, it triggers various special effects. At times, it felt like an adult rainforest cafe with changing sounds and lights. They also have a staple menu if you are more of a "creature of habit" and like your tried-and-true favorites. Their food menu is not GRAND, but it does pack a nice punch if you are looking for a quick nibble to accompany your cocktail - which is REALLY the star of the show. Since the cocktail is one of the main highlights of the experience, the TRUE STARS are the bartenders who pour (literally and figuratively) their heart and soul into curating the bar menus to WOW your senses. Some of my favorite seasonal cocktail experiences are EASILY had at The Courtesy. And what really makes it a GEM is how much CARE is put into the details, not only into the menu, but also into the decor of the space. They know how to draw you in and keep you in. For as long as they are here, I'll be a regular here.

Bonus points if score a reservation and show up to Nightmare on Orange or their Holiday event each where the bar area and inside is decorated to fit the theme and the menu will turn that way as well. The bartenders here are fun to chat with and provide plenty of information and answer any questions. I got the clarified ube cocktail and it was so unique - fun, smooth & amazing flavors. The pad kra pow cocktail was a little spicy for my taste but my husband loved it. We decided to stop in here after lunch to enjoy one of the great Spring days in Orlando (which are few and far between as you locals know!) The outdoor area, with lush plants, a water feature, good shade trees and tables with umbrellas allow you to sit back and enjoy a perfect Spring afternoon. The wrap around bar area is spacious and covered. Cool retro music is always playing here. We were again served by Andy and Noah! They are two of the hardest working servers in the business. In fact, every one of the servers at this spot seems to up their game, possibly due to the great vibe of this outdoor bar. We had several drinks throughout the late afternoon and evening and just enjoyed the music and the chill atmosphere. We ordered edamame (nicely seasoned with spices) and chicken fingers (very good) during the evening given the big lunch we had earlier. This place is such a good time! After months of anticipation... I finally made it to Alfie's…read more It was exactly what I was hoping it would be: a slice of culture. Real people. Real life. Real youth. Real energy. Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. Go after 9 or 10 PM and plan to stay for at least two hours. That's when you really see the scene develop and come alive. Bring your ID: they card at the door. Even at my age, I still get carded. An Amazing Team-Building Experience at The Trap!…read more We came back after 11 months, and we had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Trap! Our two Parsons offices, the Downtown Orlando office and the Altamonte Springs office, came together for a team-building event, and everyone had an amazing time. A very special thank you to Miriam for all her assistance in planning our activity. Her cordiality, professionalism, and willingness to help throughout the entire process certainly did not go unnoticed. She made everything so easy and was always available to assist us. We also want to give a huge shout-out to Austin, the Manager, who went above and beyond to make sure our group was having a great time and that everyone was well taken care of. His attention and hospitality truly made a difference. And what can we say about the extraordinary Ian, Bryh, and Morgan? You were all awesome! You made the axe-throwing experience fun, exciting, and memorable for everyone. A special thank-you as well to Paola at the bar, who kept everything running smoothly, and to Yen and Lala, who provided excellent service throughout our visit. To the entire team at The Trap, thank you! Your energy, professionalism, friendliness, and attention to our group made this an amazing experience from beginning to end. We are truly grateful that we chose The Trap for our team-building event. Thank you, Miriam, Austin, Ian, Bryh, Morgan, Paola, Yen, Lala, and the entire Trap team! We appreciate everything you did for us and look forward to visiting again in the future. The food was also great. We started off with the Sourdough Flatbread (mushroom, ham, fig, goat cheese), and honestly, this might have been the best flatbread I've ever had in my life. It was a great size, has a hearty crust for good handling, and the toppings are just magnificent in quantity And quality. Just wow. Delicious. For my main, I had the Crab Cakes (citrus beurre blanc, tomato-smoked pepper jam, fries). Again, dynamite dish. Lots of crab in those cakes, a creamy, acidic sauce as a nice foil to the crab, and then a nice little pop of that smoked pepper jam to really make the dish interesting with every bite. So good. I also got to try a nightly special they had, a Lamb Tenderloin. Perfectly medium rare, a nice rice side, just done really well. We finished off with probably the best part of the night, the Skillet Brownie (salted caramel, vanilla soft serve). Insane. Ooey and gooey, warm and chocolatey, with a hint of salty caramel. With that dollop of vanilla ice cream just melting away on top, it was the perfect dessert. What really set back this visit was the service. Our server was just awful, I'm sorry. I'm not saying she was an awful person. She was a lovely person, but restaurant service is probably just not the job for her. I won't go any farther. Overall, the ambiance and the food here are exceptional. I would definitely come back here again.

We looked over the happy hour menu (good all day on Monday nights and Tuesday through Friday 5-7pm). We ask Mel about the "Bartender's Choice" selection under happy hour drinks. She said the bartender will mix a drink of their preference. The customer cannot choose the alcohol or any mixers as the bartender makes the decisions all by him or herself. Mel asked if we had any allergies or any other issues that might affect the drinks the bartender would like to make. We said we did not and we decided to take on this "choice" experience. Serena was the bartender of the evening and she did an amazing job. She mixed up various concoctions for us throughout the night (we ordered a second round after the first one) and we enjoyed every drink she prepared. The presentation of the drinks were also well done. Serena's cocktails consisted of bourbon, rum, and various ingredients which could include bitters, lemon, agave or other cocktail mixers. She was the bartender extraordinaire of the evening. For food, we ordered the half dozen chicken wings (2 orders since they were so good) and the pizza empanadas to start. The two empanadas had mozzarella cheese stuffed inside and were served with a warm marinara. From the main menu, we ordered the Faroe Island Salmon, which was served on a bad of risotto and tomato butter, with capers. The portion of the salmon was somewhat small for the price of $28, but it and the risotto were cooked perfectly. We ended the night with their signature drink, "Death in the Afternoon" which contains absinthe and is one of my favorite drinks here in Orlando. It was another five star experience and my friend found a new restaurant she now loves. All in all, a great night thanks to the attentiveness and easy-going attitude of Mel, our server, and the exceptional cocktails from the bartender, Serena. Thank you both for a job very well done!
