Carmel apple martini with froth topping - YUM!!!
    Aimee B.

Such a great spot to be able to come in and try a lot of different beverages. You start with a bracelet you scan to pour your own selections and you pay by ounce. It is easy to pour (sometimes too easy so watch if you just want to sample), but good news is what I tried was all delicious. My first choice was the caramel apple martini with the froth topping that they offer. It was delicious and perfect for the chilly night. We were in on a Thursday evening early and it was pretty quiet so we were able to chat with the bartender that was there. He was very friendly and provided details on how to use and where everything was that we could need. Definitely a place to stop in and relax while trying a wide range of beverages.

Pour Choice Taphouse is a great addition to the Orlando craft beer scene. The tap list is consistently well curated, with a mix of local breweries, rotating specialties, and options for people who prefer cider, sours, or lighter beers. Don't like beer? No problem! There are over 7 different cocktails on tap including seasonal espresso martinis flavors. There is also a full bar to order from! The space itself is clean, comfortable, and easy to hang out in whether you're stopping by for a quick drink or settling in with friends to play one of the games stocked there. The tap list is constantly changing, which makes each visit a little different. It's a good spot for anyone who enjoys trying new beers or supporting local businesses. Overall, a solid neighborhood taphouse worth checking out if you're in the area. It's the perfect spot to grab a drink with friends, unwind after work, or discover a new favorite beverage. If you're looking for a local gem with great drinks, great people, and a great vibe... this is it. Highly recommend!

A place for beer lovers and beer newbies alike -- Pour Choice is a must visit for beer folks. Essentially, you get a wristband that you scan and then you pay for however much you pour of each type of beer. They have rinsed stations for you to clean out your glass after sampling or you can grab a new glass entirely. I love that they have such a good variety of all types of beers, as well as ciders, cocktails, and rotating specials like tequila or sake. The inside is industrial and fun, with tons of seating and tables. I love that the long tables at the back are beer pong friendly. It's a great place for hanging out. They have tons of events and specials, like live music or comedy shows. Highly recommend!

What a surprise. I thought this might be gimicky or poor quality but I was pleasantly surprised. They have a good mix so you certainly should be able to find at least one thing that you would like to drink. They run from IPA's, Pilsner, Seltzer and even Gingerbread Martini and you can add bailey's cold foam on top. You can pour just a mouthful to see if you want to fill the glass. What a great way to be sure you will like your drink. They have full liquor bottles at the counter and had a special drink card on the bar so I am sure they can do other types of drinks as well. While it was great a "snack option" would have been appreciated. Still a great place !

Came here for the holiday ciders! They had many options and a cool looking dining hall but the payment system is unnecessarily complicated and the staff didn't seem to fully understand the benefits and features of their systems. They also didn't seem very welcoming.

As I slowly get more into beer, this place has been on my list. As the location is on Mills, which is a perfect spot and a very chill environment! As My friends and I walked in, we were greeted. You put a card on file and is given a wristband to use to pour your beer. It's beer is a certain cost/oz. Yet nothing crazy as the highest amount i saw was like $1.85. I found myself truly liking the sours. On another note, this place has a bar and can make you a drink!

Great chill stop to grab a drink or three! I've heard of the concept before but never been. The greeter explained everything- you basically pay by the ounce for the drink you want. You connect a payment method to a wristband, tap on the drink section to activate it, pour your drink and enjoy. They had a variety of different glassware- even flights so you can still have the same vibe as your favorite bar. I was surprised to not only see beer, but cocktails as well. It's a smaller space so you can relax. The greeter mentioned they are planning on expanding and I will for sure come back to check it out. They don't have any food offerings, but seem to connect with the other local business and invite you to order out and bring it in. Great way to get a small group together- especially for the variety and not worrying about splitting checks.

    Vodka espresso martinis

On Friday night, it was my first time visiting. After seeing someone post online about an espresso martini on tap, I HAD to visit. My friend and I came in and was instantly greeted by the staff member at the front counter. Easy process of showing id's and having a card swiped upfront. We got bands on our wrists and were taken over to the taps to explain the process, which was very helpful. I tried the vodka and tequila espresso martini, and the tequila one was so smooth and delicious. The cream is very flavorful. The cherry lime seltzer was a bit too sweet for my liking, but the Tennessee lemonade was so good. There are lots of options available, from seltzers to beers to cocktails. The inside is really cute, and there were card games available to play with friends. This is a decent spot to hang with friends and have something there for everyone to drink.

    Comedy show with professional comedians!
    Erin G.

This review is for Mills 50 Comedy Show at the Pour Choice hosted by Helmut Productions. The show is a ticketed event every second Thursday of the month. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite that are a few dollars cheaper than at the door. I laughed out loud a lot and we all had so much fun. The Pour Choice concept is that customers are given a wrist band that will turn on one of 30+ taps and you can pour a sample or a full glass of beer, cider or wine. The selection here is a good mix and they have some approachable brews besides just craft selections. Similar spirits are grouped together for easy navigation. I really am a fan of beer samplers and I loved that they had shot size glasses as well as chalices, half pints and pint glassware. You can build your own sampler then go back for your favorites. Prices are posted next to each tap as they vary. The comedians in this full 2 hour show were professionals. It would take a Costco sized package of soap to wash their mouthes out, so if you are sensitive, I would steer clear. Not so much cussing but no topics seemed taboo. One thing I appreciated is there was only one slightly mild political joke. I really laughed hard and once the show started there was only a couple minute breaks between acts. Some of the comics used observational jokes and audience participation created spur of the moment laughs. Not just the front row. Most seats were taken and there was some folks standing up so get there at 7:30 or earlier. Good to know: -Helmut the host cautioned people to not talk during the time comedians were performing -Silence your phone because if it goes off you might get heckled -Self service drinks were available the whole show and afterwards -You cash out your tab before leaving, but drink tabs varied widely. My friend had a $4 glass of wine and my sampling and then beer added up to $12 -Food is not served

    Pumpkin Espresso Martini
    Elease S.

A friend of mine took me to Pour Choice for the first time a few months back and I was completely blown away. I love that it used a similar concept as some wine bars I've gone to - where you essentially get to try as many different types of wine (or in this case beers) as you'd like for a reasonable price. While they don't use a card system (instead they use a wristband), it is truly an amazing concept. So, I was happy to visit this establishment once more and try some of their seasonal cocktails! And naturally I was not left disappointed!! I had their pumpkin espresso martini and it was worth the hype! While I typically lean towards IPAs, I decided to continue to indulge in the espresso martinis. It was truly the highlight of the night! Beyond just their seasonal cocktails, they do have a great selection of varying beers. As noted, I lean towards IPAs, so I typically stay in that realm but from time to time I'll have a stout. As for the overall establishment, it was definitely bustling! They have games for anyone looking to play any games at the tables, they have TVs for anyone looking to watch any games, and for the part it is enough seating when not too packed. The staff was great. The environment was super lively! This is definitely a spot I will keep on one of my favorites list! Definitely pay them a visit if you have not done so already.

I LOVED this place! The concept is so cool and laid back. Of course we're spent St.Patricks day. You pay $10 for the wristbands and whatever you drink inside you pay for of course. They charge by the ounce for everything on tap, they also have a bar you can get a drink from if it's not. The butterbeer espresso martini was to die for! Definitely plan on going back!

    Dj L.

Pour choice is a cool concept I will say! They have about 40 different beer selections I think. Some wine, sake, cider and seltzer. When we went on Saturday I wasn't too impressed, there was about 20 taps that were out of order or had nothing in them at all. Only 1 hard seltzer to choose from and I think 1 cider. Unfortunately, If you don't absolutely love beer you really had no other options. You get a wristband you can hold up to the tap and pour your own amount of what you want. Pretty neat. You only pay for what you pour and you pay at the end. Your IDs are scanned so loyalty points are tied to your ID and you get get rewards after so many ounces poured. Good parking lot in the back of the building and good location. I do like the concept and the staff is very friendly, but their options lately have been limited and a lot of the taps were down. Would love to see more selection of cider and seltzer and more working taps! Overall a pretty cool place if you just wanna hangout for some casual beers.

Took my friend to her first pour choice experience! Pour choice is like a froyo set up but with alcohol. They give you a band which is attached to your card and you scan the band to use the spouts. You pay per oz and the price is dependent on the drink choice. They also have games you can play with your table which is lots of fun. The bar section is pretty cool too and I hadn't been there since September so it was neat to see! It was a do it yourself type place but the guys checking us in were nice!

The ambiance and feel of the bar is very "sultry" and "intimate." The mood lighting, dark paneling/interiors paired with the bar itself being lit to be the center of attention, lends itself to the secretiveness and LURE that a modernized speakeasy would provide. I truly enjoy stepping foot into this little hidden, but NOT so hidden, gem (which can be accessed from the interior to Talay). Service can be slow at times - especially when they are busy. However, the staff is usually always gracious, helpful, and willing to serve. The few great mixologists I've met there have also been very willing to break down how they make their drinks and really give us a glimpse into their world. So, I'm appreciative of that. That is not something that you can always expect at bars. As for the drinks (and food I'll glaze over), I am usually not left disappointed. I appreciate that seasonally they play with their drink menu and introduce new cocktails. I also love a handful of their signature drinks on the menu. This may be the only bar I've had a drink with Aperol in it that I actually ENJOYED (and not tolerated). The pricing can get high depending on what you order, but for the area and the going rate of a night out, they hold their own. Definitely don't pop into Noir if you are looking for an AFFORDABLE cocktail experience because the tab will creep up on you. The food is OKAY. They share a kitchen with Talay and offer some items not on the Talay menu - which is nice. However, I rarely eat when I visit, so the few times I have, it's been okay. Nothing to truly brag home about. I am happy, though, that they did start offering food because in the very beginning (when they first opened), that was not an option. Anyways, Noir Bar is GREAT (to me)! I will keep coming here and recommending it to others. It's also great for a date night or night out with your friends. It's in a decent location - but please take heed of parking in this area, as it can be challenging to find FREE street parking. However, there is parking available all around and in various garages nearby.

Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. Go after 9 or 10 PM and plan to stay for at least two hours. That's when you really see the scene develop and come alive. Bring your ID: they card at the door. Even at my age, I still get carded. But he was very impatient. Let me add that there was not a single person in the entire place. NO ONE. Let me also add that almost our entire group is almost 40. So we're obv not underage. With the way he approached us and was completely impatient, we were a little turned off and left. Which lost them money on our entire group. He followed us out the door as we left. Once inside, we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The restaurant was lively and busy in the best way. It's an intimate space, but beautifully styled very much giving South Beach energy. Our waiter, Louis, truly elevated the experience. He introduced himself, explained the menu thoroughly, and made great recommendations. We opted for the Magical Dining $40 three-course menu along with the $30 drink pairing, which included a drink for each course such a great value. My meal: * Appetizer: Fresh ceviche with tuna, avocado, and watermelon light, flavorful, and unique * Drink: Floridian Slip refreshing and perfectly balanced * Entrée: Ropa Vieja - rich, tender, and paired perfectly with rice, beans, and Cuban bread * Drink: Funky - fruity with a nice kick * Dessert: Maduro Bread Pudding - sweet, warm, and indulgent * Drink: Coquito - smooth and the perfect ending Every single course was thoughtfully prepared, and the drink pairings complemented each dish beautifully. No complaints there. We started with the smoked fish dip and ceviche which was different than your typical one, but refreshing! I had the skirt steak - it was flavorful but definitely heavy on the salt. I still really enjoyed it as well as the rice & beans. Hubby got the ropa veija which he enjoyed. Our friend got the osso buco which he liked, but said the chicharron was not good at all. We then had some pastelitos for dessert! They added a 18% gratuity to the check, which was fine and I appreciated them telling us as well as circling it. Overall I think it was really good but nothing out of the world, you can find similar food for much less at your other local Cuban spots - what sets the place apart is the drinks and vibes so if you're looking for the whole experience then it's your place.

We looked over the happy hour menu (good all day on Monday nights and Tuesday through Friday 5-7pm). We ask Mel about the "Bartender's Choice" selection under happy hour drinks. She said the bartender will mix a drink of their preference. The customer cannot choose the alcohol or any mixers as the bartender makes the decisions all by him or herself. Mel asked if we had any allergies or any other issues that might affect the drinks the bartender would like to make. We said we did not and we decided to take on this "choice" experience. Serena was the bartender of the evening and she did an amazing job. She mixed up various concoctions for us throughout the night (we ordered a second round after the first one) and we enjoyed every drink she prepared. The presentation of the drinks were also well done. Serena's cocktails consisted of bourbon, rum, and various ingredients which could include bitters, lemon, agave or other cocktail mixers. She was the bartender extraordinaire of the evening. For food, we ordered the half dozen chicken wings (2 orders since they were so good) and the pizza empanadas to start. The two empanadas had mozzarella cheese stuffed inside and were served with a warm marinara. From the main menu, we ordered the Faroe Island Salmon, which was served on a bad of risotto and tomato butter, with capers. The portion of the salmon was somewhat small for the price of $28, but it and the risotto were cooked perfectly. We ended the night with their signature drink, "Death in the Afternoon" which contains absinthe and is one of my favorite drinks here in Orlando. It was another five star experience and my friend found a new restaurant she now loves. All in all, a great night thanks to the attentiveness and easy-going attitude of Mel, our server, and the exceptional cocktails from the bartender, Serena. Thank you both for a job very well done!

I was immediately thinking that this place would not be out of place on Mills ave or downtown. I saw the coffee prices posted and they seemed about average or even maybe a bit of a bargain compared to some of the coffee chain prices. I was given a menu that highlighted some of their rotating seasonal drinks. I was surprised to see drink prices at $15 & $16. I know downtown that would not be unusual, but I assumed since this was pretty far out east it might be a few dollars cheaper. Still, I understand you get what you pay for an they bar seemed to have many top shelf brands and a good selection to boot. There were a few tables with people, and I noticed a few more seemed to be working on their laptops so great idea if you would rather work with a beer or glass of wine instead of a coffee.

We ordered the buffalo chicken egg rolls and the deviled eggs (with no bacon) as appetizers. For our new drinks we got margaritas, I got a regular margarita and my partner got a passion fruit margarita. For entrees, I had the famous fried chicken and my hubby had the meatloaf. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, relaxed, they keep the shades lowered during the day to reduce that sun intake and it's lovely. It feels nice and relaxed in here no matter the weather outside. Again, we enjoyed the experience but the service was fairly slow. We had to pretty much know what we wanted by the next time we saw our server or flag her down to get her attention. She was waiting about 4 tables on our area. We were party of two.

The drinks were great and the food was soo good that we still talk about it days later. He loved the bone marrow. Steak was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. The cake was not my favorite at all. It took way too long to come out and it came out very cold. Not much chocolate flavor, too much salt. It was missing something. We will skip dessert next time.
