This is where the 90s vibes -- the cool 90's of the Notorious B.I.G. days -- and welcoming atmosphere rule! I've been overdue leaving a review about The Commission Beer Chamber. They have a great craft beer selection on tap, as well as a huge cooler selection of canned beers, water, and NA beverages. Two televisions mounted above the bar are usually broadcasting the games of the day. They have cozy indoor seating areas, as well as an outdoor (uncovered) patio. The staff are super nice! Highly recommend you stop by!

The vibes and service are elite here! A true community bar that has incredible people that welcome you like family. It's a good day to be a rep! Bonus: They often have food trucks and a stellar patio that's perfect for late night hangs!

Omgahhhhh. If you love hip hop and chill, non-pretentious spots, why have you not been here? Best bartenders (LOVE us some Veronica), best DJ's in Florida, MASSIVE craft beer selection. The vibe is beyond reproach. Thanks to Benny for creating this amazing spot for us hip hop connoisseurs to converge. Go there. Now.

Interesting Selections - This was good but wouldn't buy a keg of it.

When a beer crawl is your mission, don't make this an Omission. This is a cool place to hang out and have a few beers. There are lots to choose from from about a dozen or so beers on tap, to a hodge-dodge of cans and bottles in the land of misfit fridges. I tried a Wit beer as well as a Chocolate Carribbean Spiced Mole dark beer and they were nothing like each other, which I didn't expect. I enjoyed them both in different ways (Let the dark beer warm up and it's way more enjoyable). The decor is set up like someone's basement. For those native to FL, basements are a musty cold room or series of rooms underneath the main living floor of a house, typically reserved for home bars and a place to put junk you don't want in the main house. You're welcome. The bartender was awesome and helpful in figuring out how it all worked (you grab a beer from the fridge, take it to the bar, he opens and will pour in a glass if you wish). It was a Saturday afternoon and there was only one dude working and not a lot of people. It's about a block west of The Hourglass brewery in the Hourglass district of all places. Stop in for a beer or two. Or a Malt Liquor. Or a Little Hug. Or a YooHoo Drink Box. Or a N/A Beer. Or a Seltzer. Or a Hard Cider. Or a Draft. Or a glass of wine.

I love, love, love this place! Although I am not from NY, I love the aesthetics and ode to old school hip hop. This establishment embodies the NY feel and serves as my favorite "neighborhood bar". No hookah, bottle girls, cover, dress code, etc. Just good vibes, people, beer, and music!

The Commission Beer Chamber is my new favorite beer location in Orlando. It is located in the Hour Glass district of Orlando. And in my humble opinion, Commission Beer Chamber is one of the most awesome beer venues in Orlando Florida. Imagine a New York basement club in the 80s with hip hop, freestyle and just great music with beats. And when I say old school, there is some truth to that because they have thise school chairs from high school right next to the beer fridge. They have a number of craft beers on tap, a while lot of microbrews, bottles and cans and in almost any style you can imagine. On the Friday night we came, there was a DJ playing freestyle music. The bartender were fantastic, even after the place got packed. What I loved most was all the cool decor. There was original art on every wall. They had a through back video game console at the bar. And on top of the beer coolers were sneaker boxes and cds. Whoever designed this place had an eye for detail and the style of that Era. And, if you have to go or not, you have to check out the unisex restrooms. One has Metro subway cards all over the walls. The other is papered with comic books. What a cool experience. I hate such a great time that I would love to become a regular here.

I've been hitting up different local spots for weekend afternoon beers. The Commission Beer Chamber is close to my home and I can't believe I didn't check it out sooner! This spot has friendly bartenders and patrons, an awesome retro hip hop vibe, and nice selection of brews. They also have food pop ups to satisfy your hunger! Inside you'll find awesome artwork and a cool little room that will bring you back to your grandma's living room complete with VHS tapes and an Atari. There are a lot of board games and puzzles as well so you can sip your brews and enjoy game time with friends. If that's not your thing, there's bar seating, some inside tables, and a large outdoor patio. When we stopped by there was a food vendor trying to set up her authentic NY style hot dog cart, but the weather was not in our favor unfortunately. It did give me a chance to chat with her and I love that the Commission brings in food vendors that are passionate about their specialties. It makes me want to go back even more to experience local food along with the great beers and atmosphere. The Commission Beer Chamber is an amazing part of Curry Ford West and a true neighborhood hangout spot. I'll definitely be back!

Can it be that it was oh so simple. This place is a whole vibe. The nostalgia you'll experience as you walk in is phenomenal. If you grew up in the 90's this place will make definitely remind you of your youthful days. The drinks were on point and I even got a tee. Lots to choose from on tap and to go. I'll definitely frequent this place. The parking is ample, service is speedy and friendly and the crowd was layed back. They definitely nailed it with this spot.

Hole in the wall! Great place to hang out. Found this place through other folks we ran into one night after leaving a brewery in the area. They play hip hop classics like wu tang. There is a DJ there. They only serve beers and ciders. There's sitting and standing space. It's a nice low key lively spot for a night out.

Julio H.

Really cool place dedicated to the beer scene but set in the hip hop era, maybe 80's and 90's. The place actually looks like a club inspired to offer rap and hip hop concerts, or for rap battles to take place, yet none of that happens. Instead, a lot of Wu and Biggie plays on the speakers, along with other old school classics. In other words, hip hop classics is the playlist. The walls are decorated with lots of graffiti reminiscent of NY subway cars or any other urban city in the USA, like San Francisco or NY. Of course, graffiti has evolved into wall art, and currently there are no associations to street gangs, drug dealers, hookers and pimps, or any criminal activity. It is just art. I have been to many "walls", in many different cities across the nation, and I always hear the same question "Is it safe here?". Again, it is just art, and things have changed. The beer selection, being that this is a craft beer place, is amazing and always fresh and well stocked. You will find great beer here. The big plus, in my humble opinion, are the food trucks. I don't know how, but the Commission has the best trucks in Orlando. That is enough to drag me in. But if that wasn't enough, the vibe is pretty cool also. This is one of my favorite places to hang, either inside or at the patio. All the other bars are too weird for me, and only the Commission makes me feel like I belong. I don't know, I am not into honky tonk, or Southern Belle, or trash, this place is just fine for me. I love beer culture, I love 80's and 90's, and I love art. What can I say? Oh! Yeah, the food trucks. Yeah, no competition...

This place is awesome, I had the wonderful opportunity to try some of their on tap beers at the most recent Yelp party and I have become a regular in the bar since. The environment is always so nice, everyone is so welcoming. You can sit a chat, play a board game, or even watch a movie and the bartender will even come around and bring out drinks, talk about best service ever. I love it here, best believe this is my new spot!

Eddie P.

I love this place. This is my favorite spot to chill with some friends and have a beer. They often have local food pop ups so you usually can support a local business and have some good food to go with a beer. They staff there is awesome and friendly. You can usually find me here once a week.

Beatrice T.

Maybe I'm a bit bias (Originating from NYC) but whats not to love about this place?! Great Beer, draft, can and bottle selection are very good. There team is helpful and although quaint, a nice space.

Now, diving in, I've only had food from Red Panda Noodle - which I initially discovered during Tasty Tuesdays in the Milk District. My first time having them, I fell immediately in love with their beef noodle option: Beef & Broccoli. It is flavorful and filling! The price points are standard (roughly $17.00 for the Beef & Broccoli). All other dishes are reasonably priced. As for A La Cart City as a place, it's centrally located off Orange Ave. There is PAID parking all around - sadly, unless you use the DTO promo code for a free two hours of parking, you will have to pay to park just about anywhere in Downtown Orlando. Parking is ample, but it can get pricey depending on when / where you park. There is ample seating downstairs and upstairs. It is service animal-friendly. They have a large screen for viewing sports or displaying any video (if you reserve the space for an event). The staff is kind, attentive, and helpful. They have a decent (not super large, but decent nonetheless) beer and wine selection. Price points are comparable to the other A La Cart locations. The overall location is great in the sense that it's a great spot to start a "bar-hop" vibe and make your way down into the thick of DTO. All in all, I am a fan of all three A La Cart lcoations. Also, did I mention, it is a great little spot for events! So, definitely visit them if you have not already.

This experience was such a great experience because you don't even have to drink beer in order to have a great time. When we first walked in we had to call for the host to unlock the door for our apartment which makes it more tailored to people who set reservations in advance. You do pay for it advance as well so just be advised when booked. I was charged the add on after the appointment which was the wine. There is a cone that turns from green to red to keep track of your time when you are inside the room which I love that so we don't have to keep checking our phone every minute to keep track. You only get 60 mins but tbh it's worth it. We had such a great time doing this and very different from a normal spa but worth every penny. We were able to get as much wine as we wanted with the purchase and we mixed it with the sangria for it be stronger. When the time is up you just come out and there are available items to purchase like soaps, lotions, etc. which was also a nice touch as well. We will definitely be back because this was such a special moment to be able to relax and unwind with how busy our lives has been. Thank you beer spa for the amazing experience.
