Fun date night experience on Valentines Day! They included food and axe throwing. Will be back! The staff were so friendly and professional!

We had a great time axe throwing. You reserve a spot at $30 per person for an hour. The staff is very courteous and there is a team member that provides instructions and safety precautions. The space was clean, it was loads of fun and we had some good food. There are special events, you can reserve the space for office parties, and there are trivia nights. You can choose to keep score or just have fun throwing. We ordered tequnos, flat bread pizza, buffalo dip, pork sliders and bacon. The food came out hot and was full of flavor. The tequenos were soft pastry with cheese inside served with two dips. The pepperoni pizza was delicious with a drizzle of honey on top. The buffalo chicken dip was covered with cheese had just the right amount of spice and was served with tortilla chips. Next was pork sliders with great BBQ flavor and lastly some tasty bacon. We enjoyed the food that was presented well and it all had a great taste. For the axe throwing you need to take your time, aim and throw straight and you can generally hit the target. We look forward to going back for some fun and good food!

The Axe Trap was a really cool awesome place. My wife and I went first thing on a Friday with no one else there and had a blast. The inside of the axe trap is setup really nicely. Even though when I went no one else was there, you could tell them going there on a Thursday-Saturday evening the vibe would be awesome. They have a bar with lots of draft beer and cocktail options. It's a full bar as well which is nice. They have a solid food menu. The staff was really great as well. Our axe throwing guide she did a great job explaining the process and making us feel welcome as well as the bartender.

Awesome staff!! The front desk, bartenders, and axe throwing coaches were great and helpful! So much space!! Great for a party or get together with several lanes to throw, a lounge area on the other side, bar right in the middle. Fun fact it used to be a strip club lol!

Hidden Gem in Orlando for sure!! Morgan & the bartender very welcoming and made sure we were good at all times! Axe throwing was amazing! Morgan was very informative and helpful and over all a great person to chat with! The bartender was very engaged with us for drinks and food! Morgan asked us what kind of music we listen to and when we told her she changed the music to our liking without us asking! Highly recommend!! We will be back

You know how sometimes life be life-ing some times and you just need a little bit of friendship therapy....well this is a FUN activity to do with your friends! Winter Park's The Trap is housed in a 1920's Art Deco industrial warehouse with open ceiling trusses over 20 feet high. They have a lounge or while throwing axes, you can enjoy cocktails, wine, and beer...and food! The service was excellent and the instructors were very patient and knowledgeable. They gave us tips and tricks to be able to throw the ax accurately. Fun Fact: Their venue is also available to rent for weddings, parties, or corporate events, with customizable packages and spaces.

On behalf of the BCC Engineering now Parsons, I would like to extend our sincere thanks to The Trap team for making our recent team-building event such a memorable experience. A special thank you to Miriam Varagy for her excellent assistance in planning and reserving the venue. She made the process smooth and effortless from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed by Austin, the manager on duty, and the closing manager, both of whom were attentive, professional, and consistently made sure our group's needs were met. What can I say about the coaches--Ian and Morgan? Their spirit, charisma, patience, and humor created a welcoming and safe environment. They made everyone feel comfortable, kept the energy high, and ensured the event was fun and memorable for all. Steph, our bartender, was outstanding--attentive, responsive, and showcasing excellent bartending skills. The food, prepared and presented by Leo and Sed, was not only delicious but beautifully presented. Our entire group had a wonderful time, and we are grateful for the care and attention shown by the entire team. We wish continued success to your location and look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you once again from the BCC Engineering family.

Great spot to do activity and connect with friends. The staff were friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable. I learned how to throw axe and they even helped provide feedbacks so I can throw better. Drinks were strong which is great for the price. Food was decent but took longer than expected. I understand they aren't a restaurant but wanted to share since we have a dish came out after we already finished with the lane so someone on our party took it to go instead. There's free parking lot with enough parking spaces so no worries about parking.

The trap offers a great chance to test your hand eye coordination, tap into your competitive side, and have lots laughs in between. They are very informative and helpful with first time axe throwers, which takes a lot of pressure off you. It's really chill inside with two levels to hang out and vibe as well as an outdoor area to smoke, talk, or get away from the noise. Great bar area and fun photo op areas as well.

This is such a fun place and I love the vibes! Everyone here is friendly, I haven't met one who isn't. The lounge area is nicely decorated and there is plenty of seating. I love the full bar and they also have some fun cocktails! Aside from all that they also have axe throwing, which makes this place even more fun! I didn't eat anything here yet, but the food does look delicious and I have been told it is as well. On Thursdays, they also have ladies night with $10 cocktails, which is great. Love this place and will definitely be going back.

Valentine's Day drinks and charcuterie board
    Catherine V.

My boyfriend and I went during their Valentine's Day special. It included an hour of axe throwing, two free alcohol drinks from a select menu, and a charcuterie board. The place was decorated for Valentine's Day, making the day extra special. Overall, me and my boyfriend had a really good time. The drinks were flavorful and strong, the charcuterie board was yummy and cute, and the axe throwing instructor was very nice and encouraging. I also liked that the kitchen was very accomodating to my boyfriend's needs regarding his allergies. If it's your first time axe throwing, I would defintely go here. I'll be coming back here with a group of friends and improving my axe throwing skills!

If you've never been axe throwing before, you really should give it a try! I loved going to The Trap as you basically get your own lane complete with a table and chairs to relax at in between throws. Also, as a newbie I appreciated that the staff was able to guide me with the technique until I got used to throwing the axe. It was mentioned that they also have knife throwing available, but we will look into that on another day as it was beyond our skill level for our first visit.

Not only is the Trap a fun time to throw axes, it also has incredible food and cocktails! Thursdays are ladies nights with half off cocktails, which is such a steal! The espresso martini was phenomenal with fresh espresso and the perfect balance of sweetness. The buffalo chicken flatbread and the tequeños with guava dip were my favorite menu items. We had a blast throwing axes, and all of the staff was professional and informative. The inside of the venue is super cute and playing fun music, so you're guaranteed to have a great time! However, it was pretty small for 13 dollars (even though the menu looked to be 12 dollars instead). For the party, we had a charcuterie board with various crackers, cheeses, and meats. They were in high quality as the meats had great flavor and right amount of salt. The cheese had the sharp flavor, and I loved the wheat flavor of the crackers. I didn't buy any other food or drinks over there, but I did notice that the prices were quite expensive for the portions. One of the guest mentioned that her glass of club soda was 8 dollars! That's quite expensive, even in the Winter Park area. The staff were friendly and attentive, and went above and beyond to give my friend a great birthday. The atmosphere looks like an upscale executive lounge with chillaxin music and artsy paintings that looks like you can buy. I though wonder why the eyes were red out in almost all of the paintings. I enjoyed the food and drinks at this lounge, but found the prices to be pretty high for the portions. It's located next to Jala, a new Indian restaurant that opened. Parking is free, and there is a public parking lot close by. I would come back again with my colleagues if we do want to do light snacks and drinks after work. Overall: B

The bar has cozy lighting, and the Halloween décor was spectacular. Worth a visit to The Courtesy just for that. The bar specializes in cocktails, and their Halloween cocktail menu was long and creative. That said, since I wasn't really in the mood for a cocktail, I ordered a glass of white wine instead. The appetizers, however, aren't as inventive. We ordered curly fries, Brussels sprouts, and the smash burger. The latter was a bit of a disappointment: the patties were thin, overcooked, and almost tasted like a frozen burger. The other two were good, with the sprouts being my favorite. I plan to go back for one of their cocktails with those long descriptions; maybe I'll just pick the one with the longest description and see how it goes.

For our mains we got the Fresh Grilled Fish of the day, which was a snapper with mashed sweet potato and broccolini and a pan to pour a lemon sauce over top. Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. Go after 9 or 10 PM and plan to stay for at least two hours. That's when you really see the scene develop and come alive. Bring your ID: they card at the door. Even at my age, I still get carded. No complaining about that ! lol
