I've always wanted to come in and finally made the decision to check it out! Im so glad I did! We came for happy hour, lots of sharable plates, and dessert + drinks on a casual Thursday. Parking was not an issue. We were greeted immediately and given water and drink orders right away which was great. Honestly I didn't even know who my server really was because everyone was so hands on and helpful! The vibe was super cozy and cute. Live music was absolutely fantastic. It was decades night and such a great experience for our first time. I loved there was no cover on the weekdays! Super plus in my books looking for something local! Food wasn't bad but it wasn't great. A lot tasted pre done and lobster was fishy. I will say I did enjoy the soups and mushroom appetizer. I will come back again!

It's a VIBE! We danced, listened and sang some good ol music. Live music is always the best! Daube did a good job hosting. The service was good. Michelle was our server, attentive and helpful. The food was great. I was thoroughly impressed. My husband had the Prime Rib, I had the chef selection Chicken Volturè and my mother had the lobster bisque and the Blackened Snapper. We also shared a delicious piece of Carrot Cake. It was so moist and full of flavor.

Wednesday nights are the best with Jared and his crew. Food is phenomenal with happy hour specials as well. Service has always been amazing, the staff is great. Very clean and just an overall great atmosphere.

I came for a private event. I had never been to JazzTastings before and was pleasantly surprised. There was live music, open bar & buffet. Our server took good care of us, & was there we needed her. I definitely will be back to check out more live music with my wife.

Dinner at Jazz Tastings Altamonte Springs, FL I had dinner at Jazz Tastings recently, and it's such a nice little spot -- cozy, inviting, and full of personality. The vibe is warm with low lighting, live music, and an atmosphere that feels both casual and a little upscale. It's definitely a great date night place, especially if you enjoy good food with live jazz in the background. If you're planning to go, I'd suggest making a reservation -- ideally around 7:30 or 8:00 PM. That's when the music starts picking up, and the room really comes alive. We arrived at about 8:30 and the place was packed. We had to wait a bit for seats, so next time I'll plan ahead. I ordered the chicken fettuccine, and it was excellent -- rich and creamy, with well-seasoned grilled chicken. My friend got the calamari, which surprised me because I'm not usually a fan, but I ended up eating nearly half. It was crispy and paired with a sweet chili glaze that really worked. The live music was one of the highlights -- talented singers and musicians, and just the right volume to enjoy without shouting over your meal. I also ordered a mocktail -- it tasted great, but the glass was really small, and it was $14, which felt a bit pricey for a non-alcoholic drink. Still, the overall experience was really enjoyable. Jazz Tastings is the kind of place I'd come back to -- for a date night, a chill evening out with friends, or even just to unwind and enjoy the music. Just be sure to make that reservation.

I love Jazz Tastings because it brings together everything I enjoy -- incredible live music five nights a week, talented musicians (especially on open mic nights), and a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff makes you feel right at home, and the food is just as impressive as the music. I'm especially hooked on the fish dip with pickled red onions and all the fresh menu options. It's the perfect place to celebrate special occasions or catch up weekly with good friends. Great music, great food, great people -- what more could you ask for?

Jazz Tastings was very demure & had classy vibe! This is definitely a spot where you could unwind and still have lots of enjoyment. The food was excellent shout out to the chef! The Music was fantastic and interacted with the crowd. The crowd was showing love through gratuity and sending them rounds of shots. I recommend you do reservations at-least a week out before you decide to commit. The caveat to reservations is everyone in your party has to spend $50 minimum which is well worth it. We will be attending Jazz Tastings in the near future again. I suggest you do the same it won't disappoint

Had a great time at JazzTastings and will absolutely be back! It was decorated beautifully inside and even when packed, the noise was at a respectable level. We saw Jarred Armstrong and the rest of the band play and they were amazing! Service was great and my sever was very attentive. For the drink, I got their version of a French 75 and for my entree, the blackened chicken pasta. I got there earlier in the night during the happy hour and was able to get the calamari half off as an appetizer. The food and drinks were really good as well. In my opinion, the pasta could have been shared between two people because there was that much of it but it's definitely a good bang for your buck. I can't wait to go back and enjoy it again!

THIS PLACE IS A MUST VISIT‼ As a Louisiana native, I've always wanted to find a great place to listen to live music and have a great dining experience. Nobody does it better than jazz tastings! The best musicians in this area frequent this place and the food and wine is outstanding. The owner has done an incredible job of the years, expanding the place and it is a perfect place to view amazing local talent.

I recommend visiting JazzTastings, especially on a Tuesday night. It was free entry, but with a $25 per person in purchases I read later. Easily done with their fabulous deals. Bottled wines are half off on Tuesday nights, & there's a burger & brew special for $15 which was absolutely delicious; I was surprised. I ordered my burger medium rare. For the first time in a long time, the burger toppings were substantial & so flavorful. That was an incredible tomato slice, with red onion, lettuce, pickles... I ordered everything that comes with it. The beer was a new one to me, tasted rich like amber or caramel, & a bit citrusy, sort of like a Jai Alai IPA. To top it off, the fries were DELICIOUS! They were not overcooked, & they were all seasoned. Ketchup was in a little ramekin. Super good, & disappeared quickly down my gullet. The show was oh my gosh, FANTASTIC! There were great singers. The band was jamming sooooo GOOD! WOW! I shared wine with the table, great purchase, all of it!! The sweet staff was amazing, really knowledgeable & if she wasn't sure, she'd find out. Great wine & beer recommendations, superb burger & fries, generous & tasty, with a special beer included. No complaints, only praise, lots of clapping all night. I even got to wear sequins, although they were the ones that shined bright.

I had an excellent time at Jazz Tasting! We were very lucky because at the time we showed up there were only two spots open! We sat next to the stage, which you would think would be a bad seat, but we had the time of our lives seeing the joy of the keyboardist. On this evening, The Franchise Players were performing and the range of this band was astonishing! They went from classical Jazz to covers of Earth, Wind & Fire, Marc Anthony, James Brown, Bruno Mars and 2Pac, to name a few! Oof! They gave us a show! The service was excellent! Christopher was attentive, kind, and never lost the smile on his face. We asked him for food recommendations and he did not steer us off! The Norwegian Salmon, Braised Short Rib and Crab Cake were incredible! Our plates were clean when we were done eating. The presentation of the plates was also beautiful! The place is small and reservations fill out quickly, then it becomes first come, first serve. But the vibes are perfect. People stroll in and out between sets, so don't feel discouraged if you have to wait a bit. I will say, things do get pricey during the weekend. There's a cover charge of $10/person, a minimum spend of $50/person and an implemented gratuity of 20%, regardless of party size. Definitely something to do on special occasions or for those date nights you want to splurge on a little. All in all, 10/10 experience for me and I will be highly recommending!

Artichoke dip was really good, but very filling/a bit oily 4.5/5. Rigatoni was delicious and you can really taste the wine in the sauce 5/5. Filet mignon was extremely tender and flavorful , and the mashed potatoes that come with it is super creamy as well 5/5. Would def recommend for dinner.

I didn't get a chance to experience the sit down because they didn't have a table ready for me and my friend, so we sat at the bar which I didn't mind! The service was actually really good because of the gentleman that was helping us. Once the switch shifts the service wasn't as on point but it was still good. The food was amazing aside from the sautéed coconut shrimp that we had it wasn't that good but they were very accommodating and end up switching out the meal for wings which omg best choice ever! It was such a nice vibe! The bar tender also made me a drink which was actually very good. Me and my Bestfriend had a wonderful time . I will definitely be back with my boyfriend for sure because it was so such a nice experience

We ordered the dirty martini and mai tai, which were delicious. The chorizo burger was juicy, the fries were crispy, escargot was buttery and garlicky, and the squash seemed to have hot honey on it, which gave it a slight kick. I've never had a bad meal here and will continue to come back

Instead of ordering from a menu, I trusted him to craft something based on my vibe and somehow, he nailed it. Not once, but twice. It was like he scanned my palate and delivered exactly what I didn't even know how to ask for. Easily the best cocktail I've ever had made for me. Everyone I was with had the same experience. Drinks felt personalized, balanced, and thoughtfully executed. It's rare to find that level of intuition behind the bar. On the food side, I tried the corn ribs, which were a standout in their own way. Unique, flavorful, and an easy choice if you're a fan of corn. They worked perfectly as a shareable appetizer. The overall vibe leans toward a more decadent, intimate experience. It's the kind of place you go when you want to slow down, have meaningful conversation, and enjoy something crafted with care. If you're looking for a cocktail spot that goes beyond the menu and delivers something truly tailored, this place is special.
