I regret I haven't been back since all the renovations. This place is awesome--from the food, to the atmosphere, to the drinks, to the service and most of all the music!! Just wow! They now participate with the In Kind app where you can get discounts and specials too. Their Happy Hour has lots of "small" bites that aren't small. Happy Hour is from 5:00 - 7:00. The music starts at 6:30. We ordered the wagyu beef sliders and they were so packed with flavor. Excellent choice. We also ordered the calamari--another great choice. Finally we got the French Onion Soup off the main menu. It was the best I've ever had. It had the right amount of bread with cheese to go with every bite of the onions and broth. Declicious. And it was steaming hot! We stayed long enough to have room for dessert and we are glad we did. The carrot cake was huge and moist with a not too sweet cream cheese frosting. Also--no raisins. This is one of the best date night spots in town. You'll feel like you're in a big city jazz bar. The talent is incredible!

I had ZERO IDEA this place existed until I came for a joint birthday party. WOW -- what an amazing surprise. It was such an unsuspecting location and vibe. The place was awesome and had so much space. The bartenders and staff were phenomenal with this private party. Acoustics for music were great and it wasn't stuffy or too much. I was really impressed and would definitely come back again! Highly recommend for an adventure.

It's a VIBE! We danced, listened and sang some good ol music. Live music is always the best! Daube did a good job hosting. The service was good. Michelle was our server, attentive and helpful. The food was great. I was thoroughly impressed. My husband had the Prime Rib, I had the chef selection Chicken Volturè and my mother had the lobster bisque and the Blackened Snapper. We also shared a delicious piece of Carrot Cake. It was so moist and full of flavor.

We had family visiting from out of town, and we wanted to do a fun activity together. It was our first time going to Jazz Tastings, and after our visit, it certainly will not be our last. This jazz lounge is tucked away in an unassuming shopping plaza. You're greeted by a red carpet at the entrance. When you enter, there are some nice round booths and other tables available with a view of the stage. The music was awesome. During our visit we saw a Grammy nominated trombonist along with a great drummer, bass player, and keyboardist. The music was great and had everyone dancing in their seat, with even a few dancing in the aisles. The food was also excellent. I wasn't sure what to expect and didn't have super high expectations, but the food beat my expectations. We shared some calamari, a spicy sautéed shrimp appetizer, and crab cake. They were all very tasty. Everyone ordered something different as their entree. We were all pleased with our meals. I ordered the Steak Frites. The steak was tender and juicy, and the truffle Parmesan shoestring fries were perfect. For dessert we shared the bread pudding à la mode and a slice of carrot cake. That banana bread pudding was phenomenal and the carrot cake was also really good. Our server was also very nice and did a great job handling our larger group. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience, and I would recommend giving this place a visit.

We reserved a table on a Wednesday and arrive at the end of Happy Hour. They had discounts on beverages and appetizers. I had the tempura mushrooms and hubby had shrimp with buffalo sauce. Both were well seasoned and our cocktails were delicious. His had elderberry liquor. The entertainment was a quartet with a singer and who also played saxophone. Great evening excellent service and tasty food.

I've always wanted to come in and finally made the decision to check it out! Im so glad I did! We came for happy hour, lots of sharable plates, and dessert + drinks on a casual Thursday. Parking was not an issue. We were greeted immediately and given water and drink orders right away which was great. Honestly I didn't even know who my server really was because everyone was so hands on and helpful! The vibe was super cozy and cute. Live music was absolutely fantastic. It was decades night and such a great experience for our first time. I loved there was no cover on the weekdays! Super plus in my books looking for something local! Food wasn't bad but it wasn't great. A lot tasted pre done and lobster was fishy. I will say I did enjoy the soups and mushroom appetizer. I will come back again!

Omg I went here on a date and told my partner I was in heaven with the saxophone!! ( not the person ) but this place is truly a vibe. It was intimate, chill and peaceful! The food and drinks were also good.

I came for a private event. I had never been to JazzTastings before and was pleasantly surprised. There was live music, open bar & buffet. Our server took good care of us, & was there we needed her. I definitely will be back to check out more live music with my wife.

Dinner at Jazz Tastings Altamonte Springs, FL I had dinner at Jazz Tastings recently, and it's such a nice little spot -- cozy, inviting, and full of personality. The vibe is warm with low lighting, live music, and an atmosphere that feels both casual and a little upscale. It's definitely a great date night place, especially if you enjoy good food with live jazz in the background. If you're planning to go, I'd suggest making a reservation -- ideally around 7:30 or 8:00 PM. That's when the music starts picking up, and the room really comes alive. We arrived at about 8:30 and the place was packed. We had to wait a bit for seats, so next time I'll plan ahead. I ordered the chicken fettuccine, and it was excellent -- rich and creamy, with well-seasoned grilled chicken. My friend got the calamari, which surprised me because I'm not usually a fan, but I ended up eating nearly half. It was crispy and paired with a sweet chili glaze that really worked. The live music was one of the highlights -- talented singers and musicians, and just the right volume to enjoy without shouting over your meal. I also ordered a mocktail -- it tasted great, but the glass was really small, and it was $14, which felt a bit pricey for a non-alcoholic drink. Still, the overall experience was really enjoyable. Jazz Tastings is the kind of place I'd come back to -- for a date night, a chill evening out with friends, or even just to unwind and enjoy the music. Just be sure to make that reservation.

Wednesday nights are the best with Jared and his crew. Food is phenomenal with happy hour specials as well. Service has always been amazing, the staff is great. Very clean and just an overall great atmosphere.

I love Jazz Tastings because it brings together everything I enjoy -- incredible live music five nights a week, talented musicians (especially on open mic nights), and a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff makes you feel right at home, and the food is just as impressive as the music. I'm especially hooked on the fish dip with pickled red onions and all the fresh menu options. It's the perfect place to celebrate special occasions or catch up weekly with good friends. Great music, great food, great people -- what more could you ask for?

Jazz Tastings was very demure & had classy vibe! This is definitely a spot where you could unwind and still have lots of enjoyment. The food was excellent shout out to the chef! The Music was fantastic and interacted with the crowd. The crowd was showing love through gratuity and sending them rounds of shots. I recommend you do reservations at-least a week out before you decide to commit. The caveat to reservations is everyone in your party has to spend $50 minimum which is well worth it. We will be attending Jazz Tastings in the near future again. I suggest you do the same it won't disappoint

The ambiance and feel of the bar is very "sultry" and "intimate." The mood lighting, dark paneling/interiors paired with the bar itself being lit to be the center of attention, lends itself to the secretiveness and LURE that a modernized speakeasy would provide. I truly enjoy stepping foot into this little hidden, but NOT so hidden, gem (which can be accessed from the interior to Talay). Service can be slow at times - especially when they are busy. However, the staff is usually always gracious, helpful, and willing to serve. The few great mixologists I've met there have also been very willing to break down how they make their drinks and really give us a glimpse into their world. So, I'm appreciative of that. That is not something that you can always expect at bars. As for the drinks (and food I'll glaze over), I am usually not left disappointed. I appreciate that seasonally they play with their drink menu and introduce new cocktails. I also love a handful of their signature drinks on the menu. This may be the only bar I've had a drink with Aperol in it that I actually ENJOYED (and not tolerated). The pricing can get high depending on what you order, but for the area and the going rate of a night out, they hold their own. Definitely don't pop into Noir if you are looking for an AFFORDABLE cocktail experience because the tab will creep up on you. The food is OKAY. They share a kitchen with Talay and offer some items not on the Talay menu - which is nice. However, I rarely eat when I visit, so the few times I have, it's been okay. Nothing to truly brag home about. I am happy, though, that they did start offering food because in the very beginning (when they first opened), that was not an option. Anyways, Noir Bar is GREAT (to me)! I will keep coming here and recommending it to others. It's also great for a date night or night out with your friends. It's in a decent location - but please take heed of parking in this area, as it can be challenging to find FREE street parking. However, there is parking available all around and in various garages nearby.

Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. For my main, I had the Crab Cakes (citrus beurre blanc, tomato-smoked pepper jam, fries). Again, dynamite dish. Lots of crab in those cakes, a creamy, acidic sauce as a nice foil to the crab, and then a nice little pop of that smoked pepper jam to really make the dish interesting with every bite. So good. I also got to try a nightly special they had, a Lamb Tenderloin. Perfectly medium rare, a nice rice side, just done really well. We finished off with probably the best part of the night, the Skillet Brownie (salted caramel, vanilla soft serve). Insane. Ooey and gooey, warm and chocolatey, with a hint of salty caramel. With that dollop of vanilla ice cream just melting away on top, it was the perfect dessert. What really set back this visit was the service. Our server was just awful, I'm sorry. I'm not saying she was an awful person. She was a lovely person, but restaurant service is probably just not the job for her. I won't go any farther. Overall, the ambiance and the food here are exceptional. I would definitely come back here again.

I introduced another friend to this unique restaurant and bar. We arrived a little after 6 PM and…read morewere seated promptly by Mel. We chose a little corner table against the wall. We looked over the happy hour menu (good all day on Monday nights and Tuesday through Friday 5-7pm). We ask Mel about the "Bartender's Choice" selection under happy hour drinks. She said the bartender will mix a drink of their preference. The customer cannot choose the alcohol or any mixers as the bartender makes the decisions all by him or herself. Mel asked if we had any allergies or any other issues that might affect the drinks the bartender would like to make. We said we did not and we decided to take on this "choice" experience. Serena was the bartender of the evening and she did an amazing job. She mixed up various concoctions for us throughout the night (we ordered a second round after the first one) and we enjoyed every drink she prepared. The presentation of the drinks were also well done. Serena's cocktails consisted of bourbon, rum, and various ingredients which could include bitters, lemon, agave or other cocktail mixers. She was the bartender extraordinaire of the evening. For food, we ordered the half dozen chicken wings (2 orders since they were so good) and the pizza empanadas to start. The two empanadas had mozzarella cheese stuffed inside and were served with a warm marinara. From the main menu, we ordered the Faroe Island Salmon, which was served on a bad of risotto and tomato butter, with capers. The portion of the salmon was somewhat small for the price of $28, but it and the risotto were cooked perfectly. We ended the night with their signature drink, "Death in the Afternoon" which contains absinthe and is one of my favorite drinks here in Orlando. It was another five star experience and my friend found a new restaurant she now loves. All in all, a great night thanks to the attentiveness and easy-going attitude of Mel, our server, and the exceptional cocktails from the bartender, Serena. Thank you both for a job very well done!
