HOW HAVE I NOT REVIEWED THE GUESTHOUSE YET????? Best Tom Collins Cocktail I've ever had! I've celebrated my birthday here, have met up with friends here and more gone when they had a food collab. This place is awesome. They get very busy but the ambiance is fun. Last year, we got a group together to celebrate "The Eve Before the Eve" (12/23) and we had such a blast! Tasty cocktails, chill atmosphere. They do not serve food at this establishment but you can order food or bring food in. It kind of works out because there is so much delicious food on the strip! If you want a good craft cocktail, access to delicious eats nearby or a place to meet up with some friends for a birthday or just because, this is a good place to start! And please, for the love of god try the Tom Collins if that's your kind of drink...it's so good! read more

The perfect post dinner chill spot. I went on a Thursday and as always it was full of lively conversation and great vibes. They had two alcohol free beers for me and even though they weren't my favorites it was nice to try something new. Great if you enjoy a light beer. I wish the music wasn't blaring. For a weeknight I wish you didn't have to yell to talk. The bartenders are always nice and helpful. They guided me through my selection. 10/10 atmosphere. Drink up! read more

I visited The Guesthouse for happy hour and it really is a good time. The drinks are good and the bartenders are cordial and attentive. The venue is spacious and has plenty of seating at the bar and surrounding tables. Word of advice, get there early because it gets crowded later in the evening. read more

My go to spot when going to Downtown Orlando for ambiance, vibes, and drinks! Usually come out with the girls or perfect for date night and with it being located on Mills it's in the ideal spot for an evening outing. Parking can sometimes be limited but there's spots in the back lot or on the street and with various surrounding bars it's not hard to hop around as well. What really brings me in as well is their Happy Hour which from 4-8pm, where else can you get those kinds of deals for a proper cocktail? My go to drink is their Army Navy and of course followed by an Espresso Martini, I'm just a giiirllllll. The bartenders are exceptional and always presenting and serving each drink to perfection and to your preference. Whether it's inside or outside in their patio area, this soft lit, chic, plant filled bar is a must when having a few bevy's out in Downtown Orlando. read more

I want to start off by saying I love guesthouse as a whole. The bartenders are always fantastic and the drinks are great and fairly priced and they have a great happy hour. It can get very busy here but they still do their best to keep up the crowd and the quality does not go down. I visited recently and was quickly reminded of why we stopped going here and that is because of one of the guys who does security here. We will literally turn around and go else where when we see him. I was looking through the reviews and saw other users mentioning the same thing. On my most recent visit we were sitting at the bar by the time he came up to our group. He acted like it was our fault that we had come in without him being at the door. Honestly it's not even worth recounting because they clearly don't care about the way he talks to guests but I will say I will continue to avoid this place when he's there. read more

The Guest House is a great place to start or end your day. It's Monday, and happy hour started about thirty minutes ago, so the atmosphere is still relaxed. The bartenders are always friendly and attentive. They are quick to greet you, pour you a glass of water, and take your order if you're ready, or give you plenty of time to browse their menu. They're happy to customize their House cocktails or let you go off the menu. The Guest House has parking and overflow parking behind the building, as well as street parking. The bartenders have increased but their service didn't. The new bartenders are rude and look like they don't want to be there. Took us forever to order a drink at the bar. I recommend coming here before the night crowd gets in. Basically anytime during their happy hour is a good time to go. The place gets overly crowded after that which makes it uncomfortable. I'm surprised the bouncer doesn't cut off the crowd when we're all shoulder to shoulder. Drinks are still delicious and strong. read more

Came here tonight with a girlfriend to catch up over some cocktails. What a great choice! The happy hour specials were in full force. We got there at 6pm and it wasn't too busy, but about an hour later the place was buzzing. It does get kind of loud in there when the people fill in. I did love the look and vibe of the place. My Tom Collins was delicious! My friend ordered the Hummingbird and enjoyed it as well. read more

After a very tough day at work, my friends and I decided to go out for some drinks. We wanted to try a "new to us" spot and we ended up at The Guesthouse. It's a very cozy, inviting spot, with a large bar and a decent amount of seating. It's perfect for a date night. The bartenders were all friendly and happy to help if you needed suggestions. All of the drinks were delicious - my favorite was the Whiskey Smash. This is a perfect place to start your night out. Happy Hour starts at 4 and runs until 8. There aren't any food options available, but they do allow you to bring in your own food, which is a very convenient touch. By 11 PM, it became quite crowded and bar service was harder to get. Timing is everything here! If you do decide to move the party, Guesthouse is located central on Mills, where there are tons of great options for food, drinks, and dj nights. read more

Great happy hour, vibes, and bartenders. This place has dimmed lights and is perfect for a romantic date. The place has fun and interesting paintings on the wall. I have been here a few times and getting seats at the bar is fairly easy, I would say its a big bar area. They have great selections of beers and mixed drinks. I have been with girlfriends only and cant wait to go back with my hubby. Oh and they have a nice selection of plant decor along the window area. read more

Came here for some libations after happy hour down the street. So walking into the location I loved the decor definitely my vibe. We found seats right at the bar and were attended to very quickly. I like that they had some local drafts. They had a huge selection of drinks as well that my friend decided to partake in. I had a local brew which I had never tried, and it was pretty good. The bartender came back multiple times to check on us. I enjoyed the music that was playing and was able to have us still a good conversation with my friend. Stopped in for a quick drink! The bar is super cute and small. There's a cute seating area in front of the window and seating around the bar and of course at the bar. Service was quick which is always appreciated. I had two mules and they were delicious. Not heavy in ginger but enough to give it that punch. I was visiting from out of town but I can see how this would be a local meet up for me if I lived in the area! read more

This is my go to bar lounge in the Mills50 district! The bartenders are amazing, Gabriel specifically is my favorite. It's always intimately lit and perfect for socializing and catching up with friends. I love that the sunroom next door is their sister business and you can wander between both as you please! They make the best margaritas which come with reposado tequila, my favorite. I also enjoy the espresso martinis here with repo. I love coming here and always feel welcomed by security and all staff. They usually decorate for every holiday so I'm excited to try the new Christmas cocktail menu soon. We came in to visit The Guesthouse for a second drink after having dinner across the street and had a nice experience. They're pretty packed on the weekends, so expect to hover because there is limited seating. I was impressed with the bar tenders serving us quickly despite the business of the bar. I got a Hummingbird and it was lovely. I also thought their pricing was good. This is a good place to socialize and they have some additional seating and space outback. One of the best happy hours we have in Orlando and definitely my favorite in the Mills area! I love the margaritas and you can get regular or spicy with the HH menu. They don't have food but they allow food in so you can get tacos next door and bring them over. Bartenders are always friendly and helpful if you need a recommendation! I love to start a nice friday or saturday night at guest house. Get some tacos next door from Black Rooster then slide over to Guesthouse for some classy drinks. They have a nice menu of a variety of craft cocktails to choose from. If you want to create your own, they have a huge liquor selection. The vibes are upscale yet casual. There have tables around the walls and some couches, plenty of bar seating. No food options, but there usually have a truck outside or black rooster is next door. They also have a great happy hour which I believe is every day until 8pm! Super good deals. Normally the drinks are about $10-15 a piece. I like to get the Aperol Spritz, which comes from the tap. Also the Humming Bird is really good. Overall a great HH spot and a good way to start your night on Mills! Beware though, on a busy night it does get loud! read more

The Guesthouse is a great spot for happy hour and to just meet up for drinks in general. It has a great vibe and good music. The bartenders are pretty attentive and helpful if you have a hard time deciding what you want to sip on. And the drinks have yet to disappoint. They don't serve food, but you are welcome to bring your own. It's convenient to have Black Rooster Taqueria right next door. Really nice hole in the wall bar. The moment you walk in the bar is in the center and giving a simplistic vibe. We really loved the craft cocktails. I got the hum bird which was lovely. I love elderflower. They were also reasonably priced and have a great happy hour with a lot of their featured cocktails. All this place is missing is some comfy couches and tables to fit the vibe. The lighting was also very dark and could use some more lighting besides the natural light in the windows. The bartenders were super attentive, and we will be back again to try more drinks with some friends! read more

If you are in the Mills area you HAVE to stop by Guesthouse. I have never had a bad experience here and it is always poppin:) The last time I was here we stopped in for their happy hour on December 26th. Their happy hour is amazing. They have their $7 house cocktails on sale from 4pm-8pm as well as $4 select drafts and $5 wells. They do this happy hour EVERY DAY!! It's amazing and the house cocktails are great. I would recommend trying the hummingbird and Moscow mule. The atmosphere inside is a giant bar in a square with seating around three sides as well as couches and tables along the edges. It can hold a lot of people but this place gets popular so get there early especially if you have a big group. They have greenery along the bar and walls giving it a really nice vibe. Every bartender I've interacted with has been extremely friendly, Attentive and willing to speak to you. I always feel welcomed when I go there. This past time they were extremely busy but the bartender made sure to check up on us to make sure we were doing okay. You will not be disappointed! Im leaving this review with huge disappointment. I am a regular at guesthouse, come here multiple times a week . I was here to celebrate a birthday. A woman in fair skin and tattoos denied us from water. She was rude about asking for water when she claimed the water jug was full when really it was empty . It's highly disappointed in the service . As someone in the industry it's important to know your guest leave with ATLEAST water . So disappointing to leave unattended in this way. When we ordered 5+ drinks . And still was treated this way Super disappointing!!!! read more

I truly enjoy stepping foot into this little hidden, but NOT so hidden, gem (which can be accessed from the interior to Talay). Service can be slow at times - especially when they are busy. However, the staff is usually always gracious, helpful, and willing to serve. The few great mixologists I've met there have also been very willing to break down how they make their drinks and really give us a glimpse into their world. So, I'm appreciative of that. That is not something that you can always expect at bars. As for the drinks (and food I'll glaze over), I am usually not left disappointed. I appreciate that seasonally they play with their drink menu and introduce new cocktails. I also love a handful of their signature drinks on the menu. This may be the only bar I've had a drink with Aperol in it that I actually ENJOYED (and not tolerated). The pricing can get high depending on what you order, but for the area and the going rate of a night out, they hold their own. Definitely don't pop into Noir if you are looking for an AFFORDABLE cocktail experience because the tab will creep up on you. The food is OKAY. They share a kitchen with Talay and offer some items not on the Talay menu - which is nice. However, I rarely eat when I visit, so the few times I have, it's been okay. Nothing to truly brag home about. I am happy, though, that they did start offering food because in the very beginning (when they first opened), that was not an option. Anyways, Noir Bar is GREAT (to me)! I will keep coming here and recommending it to others. It's also great for a date night or night out with your friends. It's in a decent location - but please take heed of parking in this area, as it can be challenging to find FREE street parking. However, there is parking available all around and in various garages nearby.

The vibe here is dark, intimate, and gives off a chic city nightlife feel. They offer both a full cocktail menu and a happy hour menu. They also offer a Thai tapas menu, which we unfortunately didn't get to try because we were already stuffed from dinner at Talay, but the menu looked amazing and gives us another reason to come back! The drinks are unique, creative, and very well crafted. We ordered the Celestial Bloom, and it was absolutely delicious! It was beautifully balanced and left us wanting to come back just to try more of their cocktails. Definitely a great spot for drinks before or after dinner!

Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. With the way he approached us and was completely impatient, we were a little turned off and left. Which lost them money on our entire group. He followed us out the door as we left. It was a weird experience especially when there was literally no one else in there. The music was good but I doubt and of us will to back based on that experience alone.

Our friend got the osso buco which he liked, but said the chicharron was not good at all. We then had some pastelitos for dessert! They added a 18% gratuity to the check, which was fine and I appreciated them telling us as well as circling it. Overall I think it was really good but nothing out of the world, you can find similar food for much less at your other local Cuban spots - what sets the place apart is the drinks and vibes so if you're looking for the whole experience then it's your place.

We looked over the happy hour menu (good all day on Monday nights and Tuesday through Friday 5-7pm). We ask Mel about the "Bartender's Choice" selection under happy hour drinks. She said the bartender will mix a drink of their preference. The customer cannot choose the alcohol or any mixers as the bartender makes the decisions all by him or herself. Mel asked if we had any allergies or any other issues that might affect the drinks the bartender would like to make. We said we did not and we decided to take on this "choice" experience. Serena was the bartender of the evening and she did an amazing job. She mixed up various concoctions for us throughout the night (we ordered a second round after the first one) and we enjoyed every drink she prepared. The presentation of the drinks were also well done. Serena's cocktails consisted of bourbon, rum, and various ingredients which could include bitters, lemon, agave or other cocktail mixers. She was the bartender extraordinaire of the evening. For food, we ordered the half dozen chicken wings (2 orders since they were so good) and the pizza empanadas to start. The two empanadas had mozzarella cheese stuffed inside and were served with a warm marinara. From the main menu, we ordered the Faroe Island Salmon, which was served on a bad of risotto and tomato butter, with capers. The portion of the salmon was somewhat small for the price of $28, but it and the risotto were cooked perfectly. We ended the night with their signature drink, "Death in the Afternoon" which contains absinthe and is one of my favorite drinks here in Orlando. It was another five star experience and my friend found a new restaurant she now loves. All in all, a great night thanks to the attentiveness and easy-going attitude of Mel, our server, and the exceptional cocktails from the bartender, Serena. Thank you both for a job very well done!

I believe it may have been the Havana Ballroom. There was plenty of food, drinks, and mingling. The Cuba Libre Restaurant staff were great, and the venue was well laid out and worked for this event very well. When we arrived around 6:30 PM on a Saturday evening for our event, we first mingled around the tables and near the cash bar. There were a bunch of large tables that we began to fill out. As our program began and announces made and awards given out, appetizers were passed out. We were offered Guacamole Cubano, Mama Amelia's Empanadas, and Shrimp Cocktail which we passed around to the entire table. Personally, I skipped the guacamole and shrimp dishes but absolutely loved the empanadas. Yum! Then, an individual Cuban House Salad was passed out with red wine vinaigrette. This was also quite tasty. Next came the entrees including a choice of Salmon Paradiso, Ropa Vieja, Citrus Chicken, or Paella Vegetariana. I was trying to decide between the Ropa Vieja (beef brisket) and the Citrus Chicken. While the Citrus Chicken sounded perfect, I asked the serving staff their advice, and they recommended the Ropa Vieja for a true taste of Cuba. I was happy that I did even though it may have been more heavy and with a kick than I was expecting. I'm still glad I ordered it though. It was wonderfully prepared! And then, everyone received Cuban Flan for dessert. The Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar celebrates Cuban heritage and explores Cuban flavors, music, art, and traditions. The mission of the restaurant is to provide an "escape" to Havana through exciting food and beverages and entertainment experiences to celebrate the Cuban people and their culture. Orlando hosts one of several of this restaurant around the United States. This restaurant is in the midst of the Pointe Orlando. Overall, Eddie V's delivered an outstanding experience -- from the atmosphere to the service to every single bite. We'll absolutely be back.

I saw a man trying to pick up a gorgeous woman. I could tell she was just rambling on about her dreams and hopes and whatnot (things he didn't seem to care about based on his facial expression). All of a sudden I saw him go from tan/bronze to pale white as he proceeded to projectile vomit his entire night's worth of drinking, plus his shellfish dinner directly onto her face. There was screaming and panic, know one knew what to do. Until the skinny bald man rushed to them man. He was as cool as a cucumber. The blad man began to fiddle around with the man. I was not sure what he was doing, and just kept crying for help. When the paramedics finally got to the scene they looked shocked. "Who did this ?" they asked. A lady not far from me pointed to the skinny bald man. He looked scared. I feared the worst and assumed the bald man had done something wrong to the customer. But to my surprise, the paramedics began to clap and told the bald skinny man that he had saved the customers life. Not all heroes wear capes...or a head of hair. read more

I came into The Guesthouse for the first time at around 12:30 on Friday, and was pleasantly surprised by what they've turned the old peacock room into. Open decor, plants everywhere, mood lighting... however, it was a little bit loud. My service wasnt the best, but it wasnt awful by any means. I had to wait for about 7 minutes at the bar before i could get my drink. Meanwhile, I sat and watched the female bartender with the wine opener tattoo take shots and talk with other customers nearby. When she greeted me she seemed polite enough, it just would have been nice to get my drink without having to wait on her to do a shot. I ordered a mule which was delicious. I was kicked out upon asking for a beer. The owner with brown long hair is racist against black people and didn't give me any reason to why I was kicked out. I had a Bob Marley shirt on and was kicked out with zero explanation. His security guard put his hands on me after I walked out and was talking to the guy at the door. I may be filing a lawsuit. Loved this bar! They have a really great Happy Hour with catered food that's complimentary on Friday nights! They also have a food truck outside that serves yummy plates. The drinks are a really good size and taste very good! My favorite is the Moscow Mule, that has the perfect amount of ginger beer and alcohol. The atmosphere is cozy and chill, with dim lighting that creates an intimate feel, along with ample amount of seating. This bar is definitely worth a visit! This man is probably on drugs while he works and treats everyone like shit. He called my horrible names yelled at my face and publicly humiliated me for no good reason. He is crazy and a liability! The Guest House in Orlando is the spot for cocktail enthusiasts. This chic spot has a vibrant atmosphere with lush greenery, creating a chill ambiance. The old fashioned at The Guest House is simply superb. I'm told the happy hour scene is fantastic but it was a great spot to unwind and have a night cap. Thought I was gonna have a great time with family and friends until a white skinny bald white barback came up to me unexpectedly, Threatened to kick my friends and I out. At this point we had had one beer and became eager to leave after this experience. I would not recommend visiting this establishment while this highly unprofessional individual person works there. read more

4 minutes ago If you want to go to a pertentious hipster bar where the bar tenders are jerks and the drinks are weak, then go here. From a local, I would never go back here in a million years and wouldn't recommend going here. There are WAY better bars in Orlando where the people are a lot nicer and the drinks are alot better. And it's WAY overpriced read more
