Such a chill place to hangout and socialize. My girlfriend and I went last, and were waited on by Kat. She had great recommendations to give and even got us to 'Bula' with her with some Kava extract shots that were VERY potent. Loved the non alcoholic buzz & Loved even more the great conversation. They have billiards as well as ping pong and Stay tuned to their social media to see what events they have going on that week! Happy Bula-ing

Let us talk. I am so fortunate to have shining stars in my life that introduce me to amazing new places. I recently ventured into unknown territory with a new person and am becoming more well rounded by the second. Peter, introduced me to his "tea spot". Before coming here I assumed some hipster coffee & tea place, nothing short of Central Florida flare. I'm a huge fan of Austin's down the street so I've seen it in passing only a million times and never thought much of it. Little did I know I would open the door and immediately be infatuated. Everything, the ambiance, the aura, the sincere personalities that let loose and shine inside. I adore it. I can understand how easy it is to feel known here. Known as a familiar face and an inviting hello, to regulars, even more than that. Anyways, the tea is obviously not what I was expecting as it was kava. I have since been back twice and tried something different both times. I haven't found "my" tea yet, but I'll keep you posted. Idk if I'm supposed to say or if it's exclusive, but they do have a movie night every Sunday. Very hipster, not your average action or thriller so if you care to join you must come with an open mind in preparation to highten your cinema senses.

Wonderful experience... enjoyed kava with pineapple as well as delicious kratom brownies. All the while. My wife and I played two rounds of pool Definitely a chill out, laid back spot for your next date night or chill night out! The owner and his wife are very knowledgeable and they offers many products for health benefits.

This quaint little spot in Winter Park serves up a variety of Health tonics in a chill atmosphere where with every visit, you feel like a part of the family. I'm a big fan of the stress reducing Dirty Kava with Ashwagandha root, known and used in India for its calming and anxiety reducing properties. The Dirty Kava is made up of chocolate coconut water among other things and is a delicious way to end the day. Every Sunday is movie night at the Kava Cove Lounge with popcorn served and a great movie each week. Matt and Adam are a wealth of knowledge of the various health benefits of each of the drinks served here which can be enjoyed on the spot or at home. If you enjoy a relaxed social, atmosphere that doesn't require alcohol then this is the place to go.

The service was great both times I went. And the tea was exactly what I needed! And the vibe was really cool. 10/10

However, it was pretty small for 13 dollars (even though the menu looked to be 12 dollars instead). For the party, we had a charcuterie board with various crackers, cheeses, and meats. They were in high quality as the meats had great flavor and right amount of salt. The cheese had the sharp flavor, and I loved the wheat flavor of the crackers. I didn't buy any other food or drinks over there, but I did notice that the prices were quite expensive for the portions. One of the guest mentioned that her glass of club soda was 8 dollars! That's quite expensive, even in the Winter Park area. The staff were friendly and attentive, and went above and beyond to give my friend a great birthday. The atmosphere looks like an upscale executive lounge with chillaxin music and artsy paintings that looks like you can buy. I though wonder why the eyes were red out in almost all of the paintings. I enjoyed the food and drinks at this lounge, but found the prices to be pretty high for the portions. It's located next to Jala, a new Indian restaurant that opened. Parking is free, and there is a public parking lot close by. I would come back again with my colleagues if we do want to do light snacks and drinks after work. Overall: B

After months of anticipation... I finally made it to Alfie's…read more It was exactly what I was hoping it would be: a slice of culture. Real people. Real life. Real youth. Real energy. Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. Go after 9 or 10 PM and plan to stay for at least two hours. That's when you really see the scene develop and come alive. Bring your ID: they card at the door. Even at my age, I still get carded. However, we initially entered to get a picture in the photobooth for our friends birthday. There was no one at the door checking IDs. After we all piled into the photobooth, someone walked up and asked for our IDs. He wanted us to exit the booth to get them. Eventually said ok because we had already paid and on a timer. But he was very impatient. Let me add that there was not a single person in the entire place. NO ONE. Let me also add that almost our entire group is almost 40. So we're obv not underage. With the way he approached us and was completely impatient, we were a little turned off and left. Which lost them money on our entire group. He followed us out the door as we left. It was a weird experience especially when there was literally no one else in there. The music was good but I doubt and of us will to back based on that experience alone.

There aren't many places where you can consistently enjoy live jazz, great food, and a cozy atmosphere all in one place. I visited on a Saturday during Magical Dining and tried their three-course menu for $40. I ordered the Crab Bites as my starter, the Chicken Pasta for my entrée, and the Bread Pudding for dessert. Everything was really good, but the Crab Bites were easily my favorite! I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were. If you're an Orlando native, you may remember how small Jazz Tastings used to be. They've since doubled in size and updated their menu, moving away from their previous tapas-style offerings to full-size entrées. The space still has that intimate, cozy feel, though, which makes it an amazing date-night spot. Of course, the live music is the highlight. The band was great, and I love that Jazz Tastings keeps a calendar of upcoming performers and events, so you can plan your visit around who you'd like to see. A couple of things to know before going: weekends can get busy, so reservations are highly recommended unless you're able to arrive really early. They also charge automatic gratuity on weekends, along with an additional service fee on Fridays and Saturdays, so just keep that in mind when planning your visit. Overall, Jazz Tastings is a great choice for a date night or a relaxed night out with friends, especially if you want to hear some talented local artists while enjoying good food and drinks.
