Summary: A festive gathering place to enjoy the company of family, friends, and co-workers and well-crafted adult drinks. Two of my adult children recommended that my wife and I try the Sunroom. They both like the Guesthouse next door (owned by the same company) and Sunroom in prior visits. We arrived at the opening on a Friday, and immediately enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Although Happy Hour ran til 8 pm, we ordered from the seasonal menu. The Golden Lotus surprised me by the earthy and balanced fruity rum-based drink, lightly fizzy, impressively clear, with an obelisk ice cube that was the same depth as the glass. I also tasted the Prancer's Royale and Ginger Jangle and found they were pleasant to the palate. The mixologists were excellent in their craft. MISC: Although situated in the busy Mills district, we had no problem getting in and out. Outdoor seating in the back is plentiful and has a small trailer where drinks are ordered. It's right next to the main parking, but the limited spots keep traffic light. More parking in a gravel lot is located a little further back. read more

Virtually all of their seasonal cocktails are $16. They went above and beyond in the Christmas decorations this year so I recommend checking it out in December! read more

Started here relatively early on a Friday night and it was busy but not packed. We were able to grab a couple of tables for our group and had to go up to the bar to order. It took them a really long time to take orders and an even longer time to make the drinks. We're talking 30-40 minutes some of us were standing there before finally getting a drink. As we were there it got busier and busier so I can't imagine how long it took later in the night. The interior is pretty bare bones, but cute, with a fun menu. My drink go-to drink is an espresso martini and their Cafe Bandito was a pretty good version of one. Overall, it was a mix of likes and dislikes on peoples drink orders. Overall, not the worst experience ever but I could name at least 10 places I'd go in Mills before returning. read more

My favorite bar! My barhopping days might be over, but the times I wanna go out for some vibey drinks, I come here. I always bring out of town guests here too and everyone agrees that it's amazing. The ambiance and theming here is fun and elegant, like a mid-century modern tiki bar. It's pretty small and can get full quickly on weekends, but I actually love coming here on a weeknight because it's calm and intimate for date nights or drinks with the girls. It's a fun atmosphere, but you can still chat and have conversations here. But the drinks here -- omg. These are some of the best drinks and bartenders in Orlando. The aesthetic in here is very nice and I liked the effect of the disco ball. My girlfriend enjoyed their appletini and I got their thunderwing which was alright. The Sunroom is one of my go-to cocktail bars in Mills, particularly for their Happy Hour! It's located right next to the Guesthouse and has the same owners. I love the inside with disco balls and warm lighting, and the bartenders are super talented at making tiki inspired drinks. Their Happy Hour has $10 cocktails and goes to 8PM, even on Fridays and Saturdays. I definitely recommend stopping by in the Mills 50 area! read more

Stopped in for a drink after being down the road grabbing a mead. This place has somehow slipped under my radar for this area. The inside is well themed and was super cute. This is located directly next to the Guesthouse and I believe is their concept as well. the theming gives me 80s miami tropical vibes, super fun. Their liquor selection is huge, their back bar is the length of the entire place basically. Their menu is extensive and the dinks are very well put together. What a gorgeous bar! Popped into this place with my amazing teammates after a fun Yelper Party and wow, what an awesome spot to enjoy an evening cocktail! If I wasn't with the Orlando Queen (Yelp CM Anna) herself, I would have never seen this fabulous place. Located on a busy side street, seeing this place from the outside would have never prepared me for the beauty we experienced inside. As soon as we walked in, I felt like we were transported to the 60s/70's. So beautifully decorated, this dimly lit cocktail bar would be such a great date night, girl's night out or hell, just a solo drink while out about! Grabbing a table for our group of 7 was super easy and the bartenders quickly prepped our diverse group of drink orders. I opted for a glass of the house wine as I knew I needed to sleep soon, but between Anna's adorable mocktail and everyone elses' super fancy cocktails, we definitely all walked away with a fabulous (and buzzy) first impression. A great bar to start or end the night! For me, it's usually the night cap everytime I visit my coworkers in Orlando- and I ain't mad about it. I love a great craft cocktails and how wonderfully diverse their menu is. This past visit I got the Saturn cocktail (if you know me, this is very on brand) and it was so goooood. Both pretty and tasted great! It had gin, passionfruit, almond, and lemon... delicious! There's a good amount of seats but have seen it get pretty crowded fast, especially during busy nights. Checked out the new Halloween menu at Sunroom and I love how they deck out the bar with spooky decor and themed drinks each year. Their seasonal cocktails are delish and the attention to detail with the menu design is always on point. First I ordered the Ghoul Dinner (tequila, amaro, blood orange, chartreuse) with a black salt rim. I love margaritas so this was right up my alley. Next up, I tried the PSL Killer which is a boozy rum pumpkin/tiki style drink (rum, brandy, pumpkin spiced coconut, pineapple & orange juice). It was soooo good! Definitely more of a dessert cocktail and the burning cinnamon stick on top was the aromatherapy I didn't know I needed. I'm excited to go back before the end of the month and try more of the Halloween drinks. There's also a fun selfie mirror in the hallway by the bathrooms. Every Tuesday, they have $7 daiquiris. Wednesdays are $5 bubbles. Thursdays are $3 High Life. The bartenders at Sunroom are helpful and welcoming, and the ambiance is great with lots of low lighting and seating. It's a little small and I could see it getting very crowded on a weekend, but on a Thursday night around 7:30, it was quite empty. The only thing I wish was different were the presentations of the cocktails because I feel like they could look so much more photo-worthy! As much as I enjoyed my Saturn ($8 in HH), I wish it looked cuter. The Penicillin ($8 in HH) was also good, but the cup half filled wasn't my favorite. Sunroom is a cute, dimly lit, cocktail bar in Orlando. There is a parking lot in the back and some nearby street parking if you are lucky! We parked across the street and had to run across the main road, only to realize the entrance was in the back. It was fine, but may have been an issue if we were in heels. I visited this bar two years in a row when visiting a friend that is a big fan of this bar. It's nice that they have booths for a group in addition to the bar stools at the bar. We were able to squeeze in a booth together and check out the menu. Last year I got a specialty mezcal cocktail from their seasonal menu and absolutely loved it! This year I went with my usual dirty martini with vodka. Great drinks, friendly staff, and cool atmosphere. I would go back! read more

This has been one of my top places I've been dying to try for a very long time and It did not disappoint by any means. I have always been a super big fan of Guest House and I heard Sunroom is by the same folks so I had no doubt it would be amazing. First the ambience here is incredible. It's called Sunroom but at night it has very moody lightning and is almost romantic inside. I visited during the holiday season and was lucky enough to make it through the doors before they got so busy they had to stop entry for the night. We ordered a few holiday drinks and even had a egg nog shot. It was a very merry time. Just like the beautifully designed decor... the drinks are meticulously crafted to perfection. Despite being slammed busy we felt like our drinks were still perfectly crafted and they have a close attention to detail. I look very forward to coming back here during the early hours to really see the decor details and check out their normal menu (outside of Christmas). read more

Fantastic date night at the Sunroom. We have been here a few times after dinner when in the area and we always end up having a great time. The holiday drink menu selection is plentiful and delicious and the holiday decor and ambience of the room was super cozy and chill. It was pretty busy, but the team works fast and their drink creations are made with expertise. The beautiful presentation and taste of each drink we ordered made us want to order everything off the menu, but we probably would have spent the night if we did that.. We definitely mixed spirits with whiskey, gin, rum, and tequila etc.. but each drink was fantastic. I particularly liked the Top Elf Margarita that had some mango purée and a garnish of a Tajin dried mango slice and rimmed with a tasty peppery salt. The Sunroom is my go-to bar for any friends that come by to visit. It certainly doesn't hurt that it's walking distance from my house but more importantly, the drinks, service and atmosphere are impeccable. They serve all of the classic cocktails but they also have a variety of fun tiki drinks mixed into the menu and they nail them all. Out of the few dozen times I've been, I have yet to be let down! Try their fun seasonal drinks or go for a fun staple - you won't be disappointed. I usually like to get the Aperol Spritz, a Negroni or a fun seasonal drink depending on how I'm feeling. I love bringing friends here for them to get a taste of the Mills 50 area and it's always a good time! It also makes for a great date night spot for a nightcap. It can get a bit crowded on the weekends but I've never had a problem getting in. Pro tip: if you find that finding parking is a little tricky: look for parallel parking along Mills! Most people look for parking in the lot behind the bar or throughout the neighborhood so try Mills out! The only caveat is that you have to be brave enough to run across Mills but it's not that bad. Just use caution! While you're in the area, check out their sister bar, The Guesthouse, which is located next door for a slightly more casual vibe and if you're hungry, go to Black Rooster Taqueria for some amazing tacos which is next to The Guesthouse. On Fri/Sat, they close at 11 PM and the food can be eaten at either one of the bars or in the outdoor patio! read more

I don't know it the sell food, BUT THEY GOT DRINKS! Service was great very attentive, didnt have to wait too long between drinks and the bar was pretty busy. The drinks were fun and strong. The music was nice i would randomly catch myself dancing in the middle of my conversations. It's s a nice spot to bring friends to. The Godfather was nice a strong a smidgen too sweet but i would order again, the Brooklynite i had to try but because im Jamaican, the ingredients were JA rum, lime juice and honey, if you know you know lol. From the moment you walk in, you can feel a nice relaxed and chill ambiance, in a beautiful setting with bar seating and some cute tables. The bartender that took care of me was nice, friendly and attentive. The drinks are good and the combination of flavors make them nice and refreshing. I got the Aperol Spritz and the Sunroom Spritz. Been here twice now and I really like the vibe of the place. The only thing I don't like is all of their drinks have SO many ingredients and often my friends and I have to look up at least one of them because it's something we've never heard of. The drinks will be unique but sometimes so many things mixed together can be a bit much. We went during the holiday menu which was fun, but we wished they also had their regular menu available. I'm sure they could have made some of the things, but we didn't remember what was on it from a few months back.
