The Sunroom is a beautiful bar with good craft drinks. I loved the lighting and ambiance of the venue. We were able to order pretty quickly from the bar which was a plus. I ordered a Cafe Bandito which is similar to an espresso martini and it was delicious. One thing to note is that the drinks are fairly pricey in comparison to other bars in the area. I look forward to visiting again soon!
Came here on a random Wednesday with a friend and i'm so glad we came in. The ambiance is amazing, perfect for a girls night out or a date night. The menu is very well thought out a mixologist definitely put some time into it, and the drinks are amazing. Max and Jake both gave amazing service, are very knowledgeable on the drinks, friendly and made great recommendations. This will definitely be a new spot for us! If you're a whiskey drinker and like a fruity drink I definitely recommend the "fights to brazil" it's banana forward in the best way. For those who like a lighter drink the sour cherry cosmo is too good, i've never had a drink like this before. definitely stop in and ask for Max and Jake!
Summary: A festive gathering place to enjoy the company of family, friends, and co-workers and well-crafted adult drinks. Two of my adult children recommended that my wife and I try the Sunroom. They both like the Guesthouse next door (owned by the same company) and Sunroom in prior visits. We arrived at the opening on a Friday, and immediately enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Although Happy Hour ran til 8 pm, we ordered from the seasonal menu. The Golden Lotus surprised me by the earthy and balanced fruity rum-based drink, lightly fizzy, impressively clear, with an obelisk ice cube that was the same depth as the glass. I also tasted the Prancer's Royale and Ginger Jangle and found they were pleasant to the palate. The mixologists were excellent in their craft. MISC: Although situated in the busy Mills district, we had no problem getting in and out. Outdoor seating in the back is plentiful and has a small trailer where drinks are ordered. It's right next to the main parking, but the limited spots keep traffic light. More parking in a gravel lot is located a little further back.
Popped into Sunroom for a quick drink with a friend on Thursday evening. We went super early as we both had separate dinner plans for after, so we had zero trouble finding a spot or getting a drink. Sunroom makes exceptional craft cocktails and has a broad selection of flavorings, syrups and mixers to make just about anything. I had a mocktail and my friend had a Gimlet and both were exceptional. The service was top notch and friendly. Drinks were made to order, perfection.
My favorite bar! My barhopping days might be over, but the times I wanna go out for some vibey drinks, I come here. I always bring out of town guests here too and everyone agrees that it's amazing. The ambiance and theming here is fun and elegant, like a mid-century modern tiki bar. It's pretty small and can get full quickly on weekends, but I actually love coming here on a weeknight because it's calm and intimate for date nights or drinks with the girls. It's a fun atmosphere, but you can still chat and have conversations here. But the drinks here -- omg. These are some of the best drinks and bartenders in Orlando. The cocktails are creative, strong, and yummy; you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
Great spot for a chill night out with friends or an intimate date. Their cocktails are balanced though a bit pricier than at other locations on Mills like its sister bar, Guesthouse. Virtually all of their seasonal cocktails are $16. They went above and beyond in the Christmas decorations this year so I recommend checking it out in December!
The Sunroom is one of my favorite spots in Orlando, especially during the holidays the Christmas pop-up is always festive and beautifully done. The craft cocktails are consistently delicious, and it's a great place to meet up with friends.
A much more relaxed vibe compared to Guest House. Drinks are reasonably price, bartenders are friendly, and it's not loud so you can actually have a conversation.
Back again just to check out the Holiday drink menu. I have to say this was not as big of a hit for my personal tastes but that's one of the great things about Sunroom... there is a new drink menu every few months. Service was great and super friendly as always. They have a nice vibe here I just wish there were some food options which would make spending more time here even easier.
The Sunroom is one of my go-to cocktail bars in Mills, particularly for their Happy Hour! It's located right next to the Guesthouse and has the same owners. I love the inside with disco balls and warm lighting, and the bartenders are super talented at making tiki inspired drinks. Their Happy Hour has $10 cocktails and goes to 8PM, even on Fridays and Saturdays. I definitely recommend stopping by in the Mills 50 area!
Hidden gem with great drinks and not too crowded on a Friday night. Service was quick drinks were solid and space was ample.
Sunroom is such a great spot to go for a cocktail and is in the perfect location on Mills! Lots of fun bars around it as well if you want to bar hop. My go-to is the Aperol spritz:)
I always have a blast when I'm here. Incredibly consistent and friendly service! Their seasonal overlay is super cute and well put together. You can really tell everyone here takes pride in their craft and it makes Sunroom such a stand-out bar on Mill.
Reviews are largely positive. People highlight the creative cocktails, seasonal drink menus, and stylish ambiance, with many also praising the friendly bartenders.

Fantastic date night at the Sunroom. We have been here a few times after dinner when in the area and we always end up having a great time. The holiday drink menu selection is plentiful and delicious and the holiday decor and ambience of the room was super cozy and chill. It was pretty busy, but the team works fast and their drink creations are made with expertise. The beautiful presentation and taste of each drink we ordered made us want to order everything off the menu, but we probably would have spent the night if we did that.. We definitely mixed spirits with whiskey, gin, rum, and tequila etc.. but each drink was fantastic. I particularly liked the Top Elf Margarita that had some mango purée and a garnish of a Tajin dried mango slice and rimmed with a tasty peppery salt. We always enjoy coming out to the Sunroom and will be back for more to hangout with friends and enjoy some delicious and creative drink creations. read more

The Sunroom is my go-to bar for any friends that come by to visit. It certainly doesn't hurt that it's walking distance from my house but more importantly, the drinks, service and atmosphere are impeccable. They serve all of the classic cocktails but they also have a variety of fun tiki drinks mixed into the menu and they nail them all. Out of the few dozen times I've been, I have yet to be let down! Try their fun seasonal drinks or go for a fun staple - you won't be disappointed. I usually like to get the Aperol Spritz, a Negroni or a fun seasonal drink depending on how I'm feeling. I love bringing friends here for them to get a taste of the Mills 50 area and it's always a good time! It also makes for a great date night spot for a nightcap. It can get a bit crowded on the weekends but I've never had a problem getting in. Pro tip: if you find that finding parking is a little tricky: look for parallel parking along Mills! Most people look for parking in the lot behind the bar or throughout the neighborhood so try Mills out! The only caveat is that you have to be brave enough to run across Mills but it's not that bad. Just use caution! While you're in the area, check out their sister bar, The Guesthouse, which is located next door for a slightly more casual vibe and if you're hungry, go to Black Rooster Taqueria for some amazing tacos which is next to The Guesthouse. On Fri/Sat, they close at 11 PM and the food can be eaten at either one of the bars or in the outdoor patio! read more
I don't know it the sell food, BUT THEY GOT DRINKS! Service was great very attentive, didnt have to wait too long between drinks and the bar was pretty busy. The drinks were fun and strong. The music was nice i would randomly catch myself dancing in the middle of my conversations. It's s a nice spot to bring friends to. The Godfather was nice a strong a smidgen too sweet but i would order again, the Brooklynite i had to try but because im Jamaican, the ingredients were JA rum, lime juice and honey, if you know you know lol. The last drink was my partners, a bit spicy as the name infers "inferno" she loved it. Spicy drinks aren't my cup of tea. read more
I had been meaning to stop by and check them out and so glad I finally did! It is a nice bar with an awesome vibe! From the moment you walk in, you can feel a nice relaxed and chill ambiance, in a beautiful setting with bar seating and some cute tables. The bartender that took care of me was nice, friendly and attentive. The drinks are good and the combination of flavors make them nice and refreshing. I got the Aperol Spritz and the Sunroom Spritz. Both very tasty, if you are allergic to tree nuts or sensitive to spices stay away from the Sunroom Spritz. I will definitely be back and if you are in the area, check them out. read more

Been here twice now and I really like the vibe of the place. The only thing I don't like is all of their drinks have SO many ingredients and often my friends and I have to look up at least one of them because it's something we've never heard of. The drinks will be unique but sometimes so many things mixed together can be a bit much. We went during the holiday menu which was fun, but we wished they also had their regular menu available. I'm sure they could have made some of the things, but we didn't remember what was on it from a few months back. Parking here is difficult, you often have to park in the neighborhood so just be aware if it's your first time. read more

These types of places are always jampacked on a sat. Night but we got lucky and found an open table just before 10p. Got some old fashioneds and a penicillin. I really enjoyed it! The aesthetic is lovely and the bartenders put a lot of care into their craft. read more
The vibes were excellent. I went on a pretty busy Saturday night, but was still able to find seats. The drinks are priced the same as most other bars in the area. I wish the music was more curated instead of seemingly random, but whatever; everyone is there for drinks and conversation anyway. The drink menu is fun and unique. I tried the reverse shark attack and can't wait to try some of their other cocktails. read more
What a lovely little hidden gem! My boyfriend and I were on our way to The Guesthouse for after dinner drinks on a Saturday evening when this spot next door happened to catch our eye. We took one look in through the window and immediately agreed we were curious and wanted to check it out because it looked so inviting. The entrance is through the rear of the building so you'll need to walk around back in order to enter (we were greeted by an employee at the door who checked our ID's). Once inside, i was immediately feeling the vibe of the dimly lit & sultry ambiance (I was a big fan of the peach/pink lighting) and the music wasn't blaring which I always appreciate at a bar. The establishment itself isn't extremely spacious, but it's cozy nonetheless and there's still an adequate amount of seating (a few spots off to the side) along with a good amount of bar stools (we were easily able to grab a pair all the way at the end upon arriving). It didn't take long at all for one of the bartenders to approach us and take our drink order. The drink menu seemed interesting and the cocktails offered definitely appeared be on the upscale side, but I was craving an espresso martini (when am I not craving an espresso martini, though?). My boyfriend played it safe as well and went with an old fashioned (with extra cherries of course). Both cocktails: Great presentation, well crafted and delicious. Zero complaints. If you're searching for a sexy, intimate spot to share a high-quality, fancy cocktail with your honey, without a doubt add Sunroom to the list for your next date night! read more
I've driven by this place idk how many times but after leaving dinner one night my girlfriend and I finally decided to try something new. You'll find street parking and there's also a few spots in the back where the entrance is. When we walked in we loved the vibe. It was it was dark with a dim lit pink light and playing music to match the mood. We found a the bar area is very long but there is also lots of tables along the sides. There are plenty of bartenders who very friendly and quick to ask what we were having and delivered perfectly tasting drinks. They're open: Tues- Thurs 6-12am Fridays/Saturdays 5-2am Happy hour runs till 8pm We're definitely making it one of our spots for drinks anytime we're having a night on the town. read more

Sunroom is easily my favorite cocktail bar in town! The atmosphere is inviting, the drinks are top-notch, and the bartenders are wonderful. This is a great spot to hang out at if you want someplace trendy that you can also hold a conversation at. Highly recommend going for their happy hour, which features great deals daily until 8:00. read more

Makes absolutely no sense to have a bar yet only have bartenders serving only one side of the bar and you have to wait over 15-20 minutes for a bartender to actually come over to get your drink order. Not only get your drink order but give you attitude when they serve you. This is my second time here and it will be the last time we will be here. Your service is subpar. read more
Still 5 Stars, but now for a bottle shop during COVID-19 and fabulous bottled cocktails. I'm a huge fan of Sunroom and the Guesthouse, and during this strange time we're in, they've come together to turn Sunroom into a great little bottle shop. So many businesses are changing their business models and pivoting in order to keep their doors open and their staff employed. It's incredible and I truly want to support my favorites. It's pretty cool because even if they don't have the bottle you want, their staff is so knowledgeable that they can steer you to a good alternative. They also have some really fantastic bottled cocktails they've been making. You'd be surprised, but they're truly as good as when you get a drink at Sunroom. Though we may not be able to garnish our drinks as beautifully, the flavor is all there. Finally, I'd recommend grabbing a pin, shirt, and/or tote to help support staff. The merch goes directly to them. And if you're immunocompromised and not able to go in to the shop, you can order the merch on their website for delivery now! Looking forward to continuing to support. ---------- 5 Stars for my new favorite tiki bar, a Jungle Bird that makes me sing, and terrazzo for DAYYYYYYS. *heart eye emo I love the Guesthouse and was so excited when The Sunroom was being built by the same owners in the space next door. Little sneak peeks were appearing on Instagram and finally the time had come to check it out. Their hours are still changing, but they're usually open W-Sun evenings. The space is absolutely beautiful and wowed my out of town guest. This place is all your terrazzo, mood lighting dreams come true. She was equally shocked by the very reasonable pricing on these hand-crafted cocktails. $8-15 for a cocktail that takes multiple techniques to put together? You won't find that in other big cities! Our highly capable bartender, Chris, crafted the following for us: * Jungle bird- a dark rum based drink with pineapple that somehow tastes a little smokey. I've only ever had this drink once before and was so impressed by The Sunroom's take on it. Also- expect a very tiki-sexy presentation. * Mexican firing squad- probably my favorite of the three. This one has the slightest hint of spicy heat. Just enough to want more. And more... * Wet martini- this was not on the menu, but I like my martinis wet. And it was perfect. I imagine when it fills up, the place can get a bit loud, but appreciated the sound dampening elements that have been tastefully added to the room. Overall, a huge addition to the cocktail scene in town and I'm so glad and thankful it's in my neighborhood. A+ to the whole team! read more

Great little place to have a drink and enjoy good company. They have plenty of seating at the bar area and also inviting tables for more private conversations. The place is beautifully decorated with low lighting for mood setting. Do have your id ready to present to the bouncer at the front this is a 21+ establishment. I had the Paloma drink very good and just enough alcohol to have a little kick to it. read more

(Left) Cranberry Cobbler (Right) Top Elf Margarita TLDR : Go Sunroom Now!!!! My bartender Tim was amazing his service was top notch. Was tremendously friendly! Treated us like Friends verses customers. Had a plethora of knowledge about all the drinks. I highly recommended everyone come here at least once in there life Also the place is super instagramable and perfect for a date. read more
Nice, warm, welcoming bar in Orlando. I had the chance to check them out during their fantastic happy hour and during the time of the year that they have their holiday menu. The cocktails are well thought out with top shelf ingredients. We went all in on their holiday menu and tried a few. Overall excellent presentation, great flavors, and I will be back to go all in on the next rendition of the menu ! Go check out sunroom ! read more
Finally got a chance to check out this wonderful tiki themed bar. They are right next door to Guesthouse and we have been to that location many times. They opened up at 6 pm so we headed over a bit after that. They have a huge bar space and several booth spaces. The bartenders were very nice and helpful. The menu is extremely extensive and I loved how many options they have - especially that it's broken down by main alcohol that makes up the drink! Holy cow! The space was wonderful. It was super quiet. They have a few people pop in while we were there, but overall very quiet. I had the Grasshopper, which tasted exactly like an Andes mint - so good!!! Try that one for sure. Overall: A+ Love the theme, the extensive and well thought out menu, and the friendly staff!! read more

If you like craft cocktails, this is your place! I prefer cocktails over wine and beer, but not just any cocktails, they have to be somewhat complicated cocktails with detailed descriptions. That's exactly what you'll get here. I love how they break up the menu by spirit. They also have mocktails and nightcaps. Since we were here at the end of our evening on a Wednesday, I went with a nightcap. I got the Walnut Flip and it was everything I needed. It was basically an alcoholic dessert in a cup. I had a hard time choosing what I wanted, since there were so many good drink options. When the drink says egg, they actually crack an egg into the cup. This is my kind of place, none of that "egg" from a carton shenanigans going on here. On a Wednesday it still had a steady clientele. It looked like mainly college students, making us remark that we felt old, but really this place does seem to be made for young professionals or older college students. Drinks are a price you'd expect, about $11-$13 per glass. It's definitely worth it for this quality. There is a small parking lot in the back, but it was completely full when I was there so I parked in the neighborhood. There was tons of parking. If you want to impress your out of town guests, take them here. It won't disappoint. read more

I used to really love Sunroom, but after my most recent visit, I'm not sure when I'll be back. They do have innovative, quality drinks but their new menu is one-note and eliminated a lot of their old cocktails that were the favorites of me and my friends. I think they should bring back their most popular cocktails from the old menu along with the new menu. Overall, sunroom is a good place to get a drink, but don't expect it to be fast, especially on the weekend! It's also very pricey but I think that's to be expected given the ingredients they use. read more

I went here on a Florida winter night looking for some holiday beverages. This place sure didn't disappoint! Their holiday menu offered a good variety of holiday themed cocktails and shots. I decided to go with the Ho! Ho! Cocoa, because it was the only hot cocktail. I was a little hesitant to get it because I never had tequila in my hot cocoa, but damn that was a good hot cocoa. The coconut milk complemented the tequila very well. My boyfriend got the nutcracker nog, which was also delicious. The bartenders were attentive, and the atmosphere was cute and decked out for the holidays. There was also plenty of seating available. The parking was a bit annoying though. Its a back lot that seems to be quite full when I'm there, so it can be stressful finding a spot. Overall I highly recommend for those looking for a chill spot to grab a drink. read more

Love love loved the ambiance of this place. It was dark and moody but also really inviting. They don't serve food here, but the drinks are amazing, I especially loved the resort Mai tai and the appletini! The staff was also great, they were very attentive. I highly highly recommend this place. They also have a great happy hour if you're looking for some great priced drinks in Orlando. read more

A few friends and I stopped in Friday night around 6:30pm. There was no-one there! Absolutely not a soul! What! It is a warm, low lit, upscale 'hipster' bar with lots of seating. Selection: The menu is honestly overwhelming and extensive. It is a multi page booklet, laid out in different sections based upon what type of spirit you are looking for. Drinks were a pricey but tasty, thoughtful, and elegant. Staff: The bartenders were all extremely friendly and super accommodating! Probably because we were the only people there haha. They answered my questions and made our drinks super quickly. Parking: It is a disaster for Sunroom and Guesthouse (located next door). I can never find any parking. Fix this please! read more

The sunroom is decorated beautifully, I love the cozy atmosphere at nighttime. The holiday drinks menu was really fun to try and had some great options! We were able to find a bigger table in the corner but there isn't a ton of tables so definitely go earlier in the night! We were able to walk right up to the bar and get our drinks super quick before it go too busy! read more

5 stars for a quiet bar with awesome cocktails! Met one of my roommates from college out for drinks to catch up on how life has been going. I've been wanting to try out Sunroom for a while now so we planned to meet there. We walked up off of Mills to find the front door wasn't on that side (hint: its around the back). Instead of walking around we ran into sister bar Guesthouse for some refreshments. When we finally made it over to Sunroom, I was pleasantly surprised to see the bar wasn't super crowded. Instead there was a nice small crowd with some quiet conversation happening, perfect for us to catch up! The menu is full of specialty cocktails which actually took me a minute to decide upon. I finally decided on the Chi-Chi and am I glad I did! The drink was carefully prepared and adorned with beautiful dried orange pieces. The drink is light, even with the coconut blend, refreshing and fruity! It was perfect to sip and chat with. My friend tried a Moscow Mule and the Aquavit Smash which she enjoyed both of! (I couldn't order anything other than the Chi Chi! It was exactly what I had been looking for!) The ambiance is very cool and calm. Would be a great place to go with friends or a date as the vibe is trendy yet laid back. Aside from bar seating there are numerous cocktail tables with chairs and booths to sit at. Overall, would definitely recommend adding this into your bar rotation! read more

This is definitely one of my favorite bars in Orlando hands down. Such a unique and broad menu that will push you to step outside your comfort zone and try something unique and different. It can get pretty full quick bc it is a little smaller than it's sister bar "Guesthouse" but i love to grab a drink and sit outside or wait for a table to open up and sit and chat the night away with friends. Staff is so friendly and they are all so good at what they do. Happy to answer questions about the menu bc it can be a little overwhelming not knowing much about the ingredients. read more

I always take friends from out of town to this spot because it's the perfect combination of lit and chill. They always have such creative drinks and they can typically make anything you're feeling! The bar itself has such a nice vibe to it. Plenty of seating, bar included and spaced out! Bartenders are always nice as well. They do close at 12 though, but you can just go next door to the guesthouse their sister bar and grab drinks there or bring them outside and sit by the fire pit! In between the bars is a small pizza shop and we grab a pie every single time and they bring it to your table! After a few drinks and a steaming hot delicious pizza you'll be on cloud 9! read more
Love that they offer a different variety of drinks than other local bars. A lot of which make you feel like you should be sitting in a hammock on a beach somewhere. I appreciate their happy hour is 6-8pm Tues-Sat so you can actually make it for a drink after work and on the weekend. read more

This is such an amazing gem along the Mills 50 area. The sister bar of The guesthouse, and perfectly decorated for Christmas right now. Sunroom has the best happy hour in Orlando. They cocktails are so unique and are a great value. Good afternoon the Mills Avenue district businesss I have a new hot dog cart opening up in April called.the vintage dog cart at the new Wally's? On mills ave Where else can I park my cart on mills ave?
I'm pretty sure you need to ask the business owners and whoever gave you your peddlers permit. Florida Dept of Health? Also, probably not a good idea to open a food business right now.
