We recently added another Michelin Stared restaurant to our collection - date night at Capa located at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World® Resort We were celebrating the sale of our first home & wanted to really have a night to relax & enjoy and truly celebrate (especially as we got four offers, all over asking in under 12 hours! YAY) Capa is a Spanish-influenced tapas & steak restaurant on the 17th floor-most table have sweeping views of Orlando including the theme parks. If you book at the right time you'll be able to see both the Epcot & Magic Kingdom fireworks from the balcony (we booed at 7:30 in the summer time so we also got golden hour & sunset - highly recommend!) They received their star in 2022. Here's the lineup:------------------------------------ BUENA VISTA (9/10): My husband liked this smokey spicy marg so much he ordered a second one (very rare for him) HOUSE NEGRONI (7:10): While I typically like to try a cocktail off the menue to start, none of the drinks were speaking to me so I went with my go-to Negroni. Well balanced. Good size. Not too sweet. But nothing exceptional PRIME NEW YORK STRIP (8/10): I rarely have order envy but this steak was truly excellent IBÉRICO PLUMA (6/10): I think I would have enjoyed this more had I asked for it to be prepared medium well rather than my go to medium. It would be just a touch easier to eat (the carving was difficult & distracting) not a ton of flavor until you dipped it in the almond or and paste. When you o this the entire flavor shifts 2022 Costa Brown Pino Noir (8/10): we were both surprised by how much we loved this. I'll be hunting a few bottles down fur out home bar. Notes of berry (red & blue) & herbs but not overly sweet. Very smooth. 2019 Siesta Malbec (4/10): this one was also surprising but not in a good way. Malbecs are usually our go-to safe wine choice for us. It may have just been the pairing but this was quite acidic for both of us which is surprising as the main note is plum. I'd give it another chance if it was the only drink we were having that evening. TARTA DE QUESO (7/10): loved this. I wished it was larger. The vanilla didn't come through much but I didn't mind at all. The Chocolate is a semi-sweet so be aware of you prefer a sweeter chocolate CHURROS DE MADRID (5/10): I personally prefer a churro that has a filling. These were also quite thick & bready so the sauce was needed. The daises were a creamy Carmel dolce du leche-like sauce & a semi-sweet chocolate. The seemi-sweet chocolate was too rich. It created an almost dry sensation (like a dry wine) so I would recommend asking for a second Carmel sauce instead (especially if you aren't a fan or dark chocolate) Final NotesWhat really stood out for us was the exceptional service from our server. She was kind and knowledgeable without being pompous or pretentious. We asked quite a few questions-I have a stomach condition so Spanish & Latin food can be tricky for me, as can red meat.

This was easily the most stunning and romantic restaurant I've ever been to. The views were so beautiful! From the time we arrived to the resort the service was Top Tier & lived up to the Disney standard of friendliness. Kudos to valet, the bellmen, and our server Nelda! Nelda was so sweet and helped us with our wine pairings and with the menu. We're both intelligent but whew, we're grateful for her lol. He wanted the rack of lamb but they were all out, Nelda was sure we were able to get one of the last filet's for the night. I had the NY Strip & we had the potatoes and roasted broccoli for sides. We also did the sauce flight. The sauces were not needed, the steak was seasoned & seared perfectly! Literally melted like butter. Our reservation was for 8pm and there were fireworks at 9p (Epcot) and 10p (Magic Kingdom) that you could catch on their patio. It was so romantic and the perfect touch to the beginning of a beautiful night. I'm not easily impressed when it comes to restaurants and was really looking forward to our experience & met every expectation and some. 10, 10, 10!! Across the board.

So glad I chose this spot for dinner right before Cirque du Soleil...definitely the perfect first meal after arriving in Orlando. Not that I come here often, but if I do come back, this will 100% be my first stop. Excuse the long review :/ let's get into it. First impressions: The hostess -the girls greeting you at the elevator were so sweet and welcoming. Such a great start to the night. Drinks: * In Spanish Fashion * Paso Fino Manhattan * Mojito Moderno * Capa Gin & Tonic Don't judge! I didn't have all of these myself. The Capa Gin & Tonic wasn't my favorite, but everything else was absolutely delicious. Food (we came hungry): * Ostras- Bomb. Should've ordered the full dozen. * Tartar de Atún - I liked it, but probably wouldn't order it again. * Patatas Bravas - So good! I do wish I had timed these with the rib-eye as a side. * Gambas - OMG. What a dish. If I knew how good it would be, I would've ordered my own. We basically licked the plate. * Bone-In Cowboy Rib-Eye - WOW. Perfect medium rare. So good I was literally gnawing on the bone ...no shame. * Espárragos - Not what I expected--in the best way. Grapefruit and asparagus are unexpectedly a perfect match. * Dátiles - Good, but nothing mind-blowing. Could've skipped. Dessert: We were way too full, but they brought out two little chocolates at the end more than enough to satisfy. Service: Let's talk about our server, Bacon... he was amazing. Super informative honestly, at one point I thought he was a robot with how smoothly he walked us through the menu like a storybook. From start to finish, every single person was incredible! The hosts, our server, the food runners, even the gentleman constantly refilling our water glasses. And of course, whoever was behind the scenes making that amazing food. The restaurant itself is beautiful but what really made it special was the people. Moral of the story: Would I come back? Duh.

Capa at the Four Seasons delivered a true 10/10 dining experience. From the moment we sat down, everything felt amazing from the service to the presentation and, of course, the food. Our server Josh was fantastic. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and he took care of our party of 9 with ease. I started with the Verdes salad, which was incredibly fresh and beautifully balanced. The sweetness of the pear paired perfectly with the greens and truffled goat cheese. Literally one of the best salads I've had. For my entrée, I ordered the Bone-In Cowboy Ribeye, and wow... absolutely phenomenal. The steak was cooked perfectly with a gorgeous char and deep, rich flavor. Tender, juicy, and exactly what you hope for when ordering a prime ribeye. My friend ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, which was buttery, delicate, and cooked very well. We also enjoyed the duck, which was rich, flavorful, and incredibly well prepared. To top it off, valet was complimentary! This is a great date night spot or birthday dinner!

Valor chocolate and Olive Cake desserts on the special board!

Another amazing anniversary dinner at Capa!! Thank you Jared, our awesome server, for making everything so special! Food was excellent as always. Had the oysters for an appetizer, which came from Florida, so I was super skeptical about them, but they ended up being delicious! They explained the source from a local farmer in new Smyrna Beach, who is very regulated and thorough in his process of harvesting the oysters. We also had the salad with pear, which was amazing! For entrées and the bone filet and desserts we did the chocolate cake and the cheesecake, the chocolate cake was the winner as always!! Overall amazing night and ended watching the fireworks off the balcony!

We had a fantastic experience at Capa for our anniversary. The Pan de Tomate con Jamone is a MUST. The rack of lamb was insane...I typically don't like a ton of fat on my meat but I was suckin those lamb chops dry!! It melts in your mouth. Our waiter was funny and attentive. The view is picturesque. The complimentary anniversary cheesecake was divine. Thank you for a memorable evening and a delicious dinner. We'll be back!

Prime. Had the pleasure of dining with another couple for an amazing experience. We started with some appetizers. The oysters were so tasty, amazing flavor. For my entree I ordered the lamb chops. I was told they'd be leaving the menu, so the FOMO def got to me. Thankfully I don't regret it one bit. Perfectly cooked med rare and perfectly seasoned. The service team kept the drinks flowing. From the looks of the tab, we had an amazing night. $200+ per person! Worth every penny.

Lovely view at the Four Seasons. There is validated parking. It's a tapas/steakhouse with food made for sharing. Loved the pan con tomate with jamon de bellota, the 32 oz prime porterhouse (the heirloom tomato salad is a good accompaniment to the steak) and the setas. The coolant de chocolate was amazing and a much better choice than the churros (although to be fair they did taste like the churros I had in Madrid). Quite a fancy place.

We were invited to our dear friend's special 70th birthday celebration at the Capa in a private room. This Michelin star steakhouse is located on the 17th floor of the Four Seasons hotel in Orlando. It was spectacular. We were 36 guests here for a family style dinner with cocktails, appetizers, entrees and dessert. The food was outstanding. Every dish was exquisitely prepared and presented. We started with the bacon wrapped dates. Then an heirloom tomato salad - so sweet and colorful. After we had the field of greens with arugula pickled pears, truffle, goat cheese and walnut Barbacoa. The entrees were porterhouse steak and chilean Seabass with polenta, charred, corn, and Sherry vinegar. they also offered. Yukon, gold, potatoes, with drawn butter and broccoli. We had a lemon cream birthday cake and churros with vanilla gelato. We also enjoyed decaf cappuccino. The dinner was exquisite and the service was exceptional. Everyone was organized and very helpful to get you exactly what you wanted. About 9 o'clock Disney set off their spectacular fireworks and we were able to watch them on the outside patio. They even had another display at 9:30 PM. What a way to celebrate 70! It's no wonder it's located on "DREAM" Tree Blvd.

Amazing ambiance within the four seasons. Had a reservation but plenty of open tables. Absolutely beautiful sunset you can watch on the balcony. Food was excellent, we ordered a ton of plates and shared, didn't get any entrees though (in hindsight wish we ordered a little more protein). Service was exceptional, as were the desserts. Would absolutely come back!

Not trying to be harsh here just trying to be honest Positives: we came for our mini-moon and great service, a lot of the staff talking to us and knew us by name and gave us some great freebies - filet, my husband loved - mashed potatoes, free gift and absolutely delicious - seabass, light and flavorful with lots of other seafood - dates, savory and sweet, love the crunch of the almonds - chocolate lava cake, perfect with banana ice cream The not so good - mainly food related, but like this is a one Michelin star restaurant so I'm expecting a lot - Tuna tartar, super bland, not enough salt or acid, egg was weird combo but the potato sticks were amazing texturally - croquettes, forgettable, wish the jamon was inside and not on top which made it harder to eat, I've had better - lechuga asada, just something missing to connect this dish together, didn't taste the grilled flavor on the lettuce, horseradish a little too strong - churros, I expected a lot here and really fell flat in terms of flavor (needs salt maybe?) and crunch lacking on the outside I wouldn't normally be so harsh on food but it's pretty expensive to dine here so you gotta have some expectations on food. I would recommend if you have an occasion and you want some great service but not if you're looking to have an outstanding culinary experience. I personally wouldn't come back

Sent again and I got surprised again! What a nice place, service at the bar super friendly and nice.. the recommendations couldn't be better.., every bite was fantastic. And the sunset... !!!! Wow the sunset from the bar balcony...

This includes 2 cocktails that are inspired by Florida, gourmet snacks (which was unlimited rosemary parmesan popcorn). Make sure you dine before you come. The hostess greets you and has a dialogue and lines throughout the experience. We enjoyed the cocktails! Each out is explained by a narrator and has some type of interaction before drinking the cocktail. They provide flat/sparkling water while you enjoy the lo fi music and relaxing ambience. We waited around at our table between cocktails and were left without water a few times. At one point the manager brought us water but flat while we were drinking sparkling. He did come over and apologize which was appreciated. The team consisted of a main bartender, two narrators the hostess and manager. The manager during our 2 hours spent majority of the time with one table likely friends or VIPs which probably could have been better served assisting with waters and popcorn. The table next to us also mentioned they'd prefer a bottle of water at the table. Great suggestion! You are given a small token before you leave and valet is taken care when dining in. The valet also struggled to find our car which was alarming and then when they did locate it, we found the valet hang tag on the floor hence why they could not locate the keys. The valet person laughed it off like it wasn't a big deal. Personally, I feel like it was drawn out for time and overpriced but what do you expect for a bar inside of a high end hotel. I would give them another chance but we will see what the future holds.
