We always have an exceptional experience when we dine here. It is our tradition to celebrate New Year's Eve here and we've been doing it for almost 15 years. Our server Pablo is absolutely exceptional always gives five star service and is just a joy to be around. We started with the classic lobster bisque (comes in a cup or bowl) and while it's not always on the menu, they always have it. You just have to ask the server. The soup is thick and creamy and it's always packed full of lobster. For entrées I opted for the dry aged New York strip with a side of the Courvoisier cream it is one of my absolute go to. the steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce is just absolutely delicious. My husband got the Porter house and it's a beautiful looking steak seasoned well cooked perfectly on the inside, and we got an order of the soy glazed brussels sprouts to share. Again, this is one of our go to sides as the flavoring is excellent, and they put nice big chunks of thick bacon in it as well. We don't typically get dessert, but because it was New Year's Eve, we were celebrating so we got their flourless chocolate cake which again is one of our go-tos. It's dense and tastes almost like fudge. It's so good. There is Valet parking that is available right outside, but if you don't want to pay the valet parking fees, you can go to the parking garage and park there and walk. this is the pinnacle of good service if you are accustomed to eating in high class steak restaurants in the northeast, especially New York City, of which I am very familiar with. The service is respectful, courteous on point and the little perks that they give you, for example, mentioning that someone has a birthday just before the end of the meal, they bring a beautiful plate that says happy birthday with some sweets on. It just shows that they care. The food is exquisite, pricey but worth it. The Wagyu beef fillet was buttery and delicious. True everything is à la card and you could drop 300 bucks with two appetizers a meal and some sides but worth it for those special occasions of course. We were there yesterday on Christmas Eve and we received a $50 gift card to be used before Valentine's Day as a Christmas gift. Celebrated our anniversary at The Capital Grille last weekend and ordered from the Magical Dining Menu. I ordered the sliced filet mignon and my husband ordered the 10 oz filet. The sides of creamed spinach and mashed potatoes were included and they were delicious. The steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the onions and mushrooms that came with my entree were so flavorful. The creme brulee I ordered for dessert tasted wonderful and was nice and creamy. They even brought our desserts out on a nice platter that read Happy Anniversary. Our server and assistant were attentive and checked on us regularly. The restaurant inside is a little dark, but not to the point where you can't read the menu without some light like other restaurants. Walked in around 6pm, the service from the start was amazing, very professional, very informative and friendly. We were seated immediately, once seated our servers Ray and Colin were both amazing. There was only one chicken option unfortunately, I wasn't too sure on it since I couldn't remove the mushrooms. I decided to just have a cesar salad and some of the Sam's mash potatoes. Both were very yummy, I was told the lamb chops were delicious as well. Not pictured* I had the mocktail mojito in passion fruit and that was ABSOLUTELY YUMMY!!! The task to get it validated is a little involved for the first time but no so bad as some parking apps I have used before. It feels like an old-school steakhouse. The Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Salad with Crushed Pistachios and Citrus Vinaigrette - Roasted red beets with mixed greens, arugula, whipped goat cheese, arugula pesto, heirloom tomatoes, crushed pistachios and citrus vinaigrette to start was amazing but the beets and the goat cheese were oddly hidden below the greens to the point where you wondered if you got the correct salad served. The Au Gratin Potatoes - Hearty slices layered with a blend of cheeses - not to be missed, well, can be missed. Not enough flavor. The Soy-Glazed Brussels Sprouts with Bacon - Brussels Sprouts with smoked bacon lardons, however, were like crack. Not that I have ever had the experience of crack, but you get the idea. The Pan-Seared Sea Bass with Miso Butter - Shiitake Mushrooms, Asparagus and Miso Butter, for my main course was great. Outside of the little dings here and there, the real problem for me was the price. Ahhhh 11 years ago my husband proposed here and it was our first time going with couple friends and that day was magical and a never forget moment. However, when we arrived the hostesses were kinda argumentative in front of us standing around the podium waiting for our names to be called for seating. Upon getting seated, we were seated in the back near a door where the staff was going in and out of the door, causing my purse to drop and no apologies. Also our table was made for 5 people but we were a party of 4. I understand they are busy but this isn't the first time we came on Valentine's Day either. Our waitstaff, you can tell he was pushy and rushing us-starts off by saying, "I recommend you ordering everything at the same time because our kitchen is busy." Then proceeds to pour some water in my glass and ice chips are falling on the table. Also, I ordered one of the steak chef recommendations (medium) and my husband also ordered a steak (medium) but his steak comes out well. Way over cooked! Our lobster mac and cheese was bland, the waitstaff recommended the squash soup as a favorite but to me it was not good. Honestly the only thing good and worth the hype were the French fries and the bacon our friends had. There are definitely better establishments that we have been to with better quality and I had to say that because capital grille is/was amazing but they have to do better. All were delicious. For some starters a few ordered the lobster bisque which was incredible. Very creamy and full of lobster meat. The heirloom and burrata salad was very good too, great for a shareable appetizer. For meals there were many items ordered and I cannot speak for how things were, however the lobster tails were huge and looked good and I heard the waygu was delicious (it was the American one). I personally ordered the sliced filet with cipollini onions, wild mushrooms, and fig essence. It was very good. I wanted ribeye but the server suggested that be cooked no less than medium and I prefer medium rare so I went with the filet. We ordered a bunch of sides for the table: hash browns with caviar, lobster Mac and cheese, mushrooms, au gratin potatoes, creamed spinach, and Brussels sprouts. All were very good but the hash browns, lobster mac, and Brussels were probably my favorite. For dessert I ordered the coconut cream pie. This thing was massive. Participated in the generous pour and sampled six varieties of great wines for $45. Also had magical dining which was an amazing experience. The filets here are always the best. The only thing that didn't allow me was the clam chowder, everything else was above and beyond. A weekend getaway had us in Orlando this go around. While out in about, we ended up at Orlando's premiere shopping experience (The Mall at Millenia). Just so happen, it had The Capital Grille attached to it. We were hungry and even though we had on shorts and sneakers, The Capital Grille welcomed us with open arms. I made the command decision to choose the patio option although she was looking at the formal dining room. It was beautiful out so she didn't bark too loud :) I believe the dining room was made for our fancy gear not sneakers!! The food was outstanding which is why you go to TCG! My lamb chops were bomb.com and her cheeseburger.. yes, I said cheeseburger SMH, was amazing. I love bacon and their bourbon thick cut bacon is addicting! Anthony took me to the Capital Grille for Valentine's Day and it did not disappoint!! Everyone was so kind. I loved how the hosts all were wearing black and red for Valentine's Day! It added to the fun of the evening. We started with a shrimp cocktail and the dirty goose martini. (Not pictured) This was phenomenal! The shrimp was huge and the cocktail sauce was perfect!! The martini was perfectly prepared and the bleu cheese stuffed olives were *chef's kiss* For our entrees, I had our server's recommendation the double Cajun filet. This was PERFECT! I'm not sure if the Cajun spice caused the crust on the filet to be crisp or if that is the norm here, but it was phenomenal. The steak was cooked perfectly. Anthony had the Sea Bass and it was great as well! We also had the Lobster Mac & Cheese and the Spinach. Both sides were also great. Just when we thought we were absolutely full, our server convinced us we needed dessert. Usually, we aren't easily convinced but we agreed and went with his recommendation, the Crème Brûlée.
