My husband and I came here for our 6 month wedding anniversary and Capital Grille did not disappoint! The ambiance, food and service were amazing. They decorated the table and provided us with a card when they realized we were celebrating. The food did NOT disappoint. We absolutely loved the creamed spinach and Brussels sprouts. The appetizer were delicious. Everything literally everything was mouth watering food and cooked to protection. I'm so mad that I cannot remember the name of our server. He was amazing as well!
So we are in Florida to just relax and this was the first night's selection as I had heard so many good things about this place. Made our reservations and we were promptly seated. The ambiance was amazing, gave off that old school gangsta feel with the music and lighting plus the art decor. Our server eventually showed up and he was cordial and attentive. Took our drink orders and our food orders. We started our meal with a wedge salad which was very good and the bacon was amazing. Then we waited for close to an hour for our steak, a dry aged porterhouse and if you've ever had dry-aged beef, you normality get a beefy taste which we didn't get. The steak was cooked to Temp but lacked seasoning as I had to add salt and pepper to it. We also ordered the lobster Mac and cheese and that was tasty seeing I'm not a fan of Mac and cheese. They did slightly redeem themselves with it anniversary dessert and champagne, that was an amazing touch as was the rose they gave my wife. You need to remember that my wife and i are from Texas and being the beef state of the nation and maybe the world, we hold beef restaurants to a higher degree.
We always have an exceptional experience when we dine here. It is our tradition to celebrate New Year's Eve here and we've been doing it for almost 15 years. Our server Pablo is absolutely exceptional always gives five star service and is just a joy to be around. We started with the classic lobster bisque (comes in a cup or bowl) and while it's not always on the menu, they always have it. You just have to ask the server. The soup is thick and creamy and it's always packed full of lobster. For entrées I opted for the dry aged New York strip with a side of the Courvoisier cream it is one of my absolute go to. the steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce is just absolutely delicious. My husband got the Porter house and it's a beautiful looking steak seasoned well cooked perfectly on the inside, and we got an order of the soy glazed brussels sprouts to share. Again, this is one of our go to sides as the flavoring is excellent, and they put nice big chunks of thick bacon in it as well. We don't typically get dessert, but because it was New Year's Eve, we were celebrating so we got their flourless chocolate cake which again is one of our go-tos. It's dense and tastes almost like fudge. It's so good. There is Valet parking that is available right outside, but if you don't want to pay the valet parking fees, you can go to the parking garage and park there and walk. I would give yourself plenty of time as it's about a 5 to 7 minute walk from the parking garage to the restaurant itself
Outstanding service and delicious food. Our server was absolutely amazing with prompt service and going above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The steaks are delicious and the ambience of this restaurant is incredible
I've never been treated better in my life!!!!! Mariah, our server/bartender, was one of the friendliest and most attentive people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting!!!! Top to bottom, this was one of the best experiences of my life!!!! I can't recall the name of her fellow bartender but he was dually exceptional!!! What a place!!! Look at this steak!!!! Find me a better one I defy you!!!! And the sides were amazing!!!!! Fernet Branca my fav!!!!! Two thumbs up all the way!!!!!
Amazing dining experience! Our servers Carrie and Natasha were amazing....they check back often to see how things were and if we needed anything. We had the wedge salad, field greens salad, Filet Mignon, Sliced filet mignon with mushrooms, cream spinach, mashed potatoes, and the delicious assortment of breads. Followed by the crème brûlée with an assortment of fruits and the cheesecake also with an assortment of fruits. The service and food were top notched. You will not be disappointed!
Celebrated our anniversary at The Capital Grille last weekend and ordered from the Magical Dining Menu. I ordered the sliced filet mignon and my husband ordered the 10 oz filet. The sides of creamed spinach and mashed potatoes were included and they were delicious. The steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the onions and mushrooms that came with my entree were so flavorful. The creme brulee I ordered for dessert tasted wonderful and was nice and creamy. They even brought our desserts out on a nice platter that read Happy Anniversary. Our server and assistant were attentive and checked on us regularly. The restaurant inside is a little dark, but not to the point where you can't read the menu without some light like other restaurants. If you plan on coming this month, the Magical Dining menu is definitely the way to go.
Capital Grille is an amazing steakhouse! The filet mignon was like butter and the sides were all delightful. We had family style sides to share with the group that included asparagus, creamed spinach, au gratin potatoes, Brussels sprouts and lobster Mac and cheese. The wedge salad was huge and a few people could split it. The drinks were made well too. The service was attentive and the ambiance has a 1950s Frank Sinatra lounge feel, especially with the background music.
The BEST espresso martini, food and service. Love this location. Super delicious. Love the open kitchen. Love that you really feel special when you're are a guest here.
Walked in around 6pm, the service from the start was amazing, very professional, very informative and friendly. We were seated immediately, once seated our servers Ray and Colin were both amazing. There was only one chicken option unfortunately, I wasn't too sure on it since I couldn't remove the mushrooms. I decided to just have a cesar salad and some of the Sam's mash potatoes. Both were very yummy, I was told the lamb chops were delicious as well. Not pictured* I had the mocktail mojito in passion fruit and that was ABSOLUTELY YUMMY!!! I was celebrating an anniversary and they brought over rose petals, confetti hearts along with their cheesecake & chocolate cake. So sweet and thoughtful!! The ambiance was a balance between many celebrations and dinner dates. A little loud but not excessive, I saw dress up and go to capital grille! I would definitely return, I would only suggest a few other chicken options.
Great place to visit. If you are coming from outside of walking distance, parking is easy with valet service. The task to get it validated is a little involved for the first time but no so bad as some parking apps I have used before. It feels like an old-school steakhouse. Service matches expectations, and the food is amazing. The Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Salad with Crushed Pistachios and Citrus Vinaigrette - Roasted red beets with mixed greens, arugula, whipped goat cheese, arugula pesto, heirloom tomatoes, crushed pistachios and citrus vinaigrette to start was amazing but the beets and the goat cheese were oddly hidden below the greens to the point where you wondered if you got the correct salad served. The Au Gratin Potatoes - Hearty slices layered with a blend of cheeses - not to be missed, well, can be missed. Not enough flavor. The Soy-Glazed Brussels Sprouts with Bacon - Brussels Sprouts with smoked bacon lardons, however, were like crack. Not that I have ever had the experience of crack, but you get the idea. The Pan-Seared Sea Bass with Miso Butter - Shiitake Mushrooms, Asparagus and Miso Butter, for my main course was great. Outside of the little dings here and there, the real problem for me was the price. As others have mentioned you are going to pay a lot for the meal here to the point where you are wondering if it is worth it.

Had a very good waiter Caesar salad to start Boneless strip steak grilled perfectly medium rare and Sea bass Both tasted fabulous Really hoping spot. The food was amazing, the ambiance was Devine and the service was impeccable. When I tell you I can't wait for my next year anniversary I mean it! The staff made us feel extra special with the details the put into the table setting giving that it was our 10 year anniversary We chose to have a pre-fixed menu with wine pairing and it was incredible. I wish I had leftovers but it was so good that we ate everything! II have no complaints but just that this restaurant should recieve a Michelin star Hands down one of the best experiences ever! read more
The Capital Grille at the Mall at Millenia is definitely worth a visit! I ordered the 22-ounce ribeye Oscar style with lump crab and asparagus. The steak itself was excellent, but the real star was the Oscar topping. The restaurant was generous with the large chunks of fresh lump crab, and it was seasoned perfectly. It took an already great steak to the next level. We also shared the lobster mac and cheese and scalloped potatoes, and both were delicious. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals as well. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was elegant and relaxing, and even though it's located at the Mall at Millenia, parking was easy. We even enjoyed a little shopping afterward. Great food, outstanding service, and an overall wonderful dining experience. I'll definitely be back! read more

We came here for my husband's birthday. The food was great. Our server was awesome and very attentive. They had a birthday card on the table for him and confetti. It was super cute. For dessert they brought out his cheesecake with happy birthday on the plate. The variety of bread was my personal favorite! Mmmmm.... read more
Was in Orlando for a meeting with my hubby & had dinner at Capital Grille. I took advantage of the Orlando Magic Dining deals $60 for a full course meal. It included various entrees so I picked a 10 oz filet mignon. My hubby had the steak a poivre & my stepson had the Bone-in Ribeye. As sides we had the wedge salad & mashed potatoes. For desert we had cheesecake. The au poivre was bland even with the sauce. Both the filet & bone-in ribeye were super delicious. We had good portions enough to take home for another meal. Overall service was great by Marcos & being seated in the back of the restaurant was a treat. read more

Really enjoyed the experience! Stopped by for a business dinner with a group of about 20 people. The service was amazing the servers were very friendly and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed and the food was delicious and well prepared. Definitely stopping by again when I visit Orlando. read more
Ahhhh 11 years ago my husband proposed here and it was our first time going with couple friends and that day was magical and a never forget moment. Since the proposal, it always holds a special space in our hearts (this location specially too) so we frequently would come back on some special occasions-for Valentine's Day weekend to be exact and we brought new friends and raved about the establishment. However, when we arrived the hostesses were kinda argumentative in front of us standing around the podium waiting for our names to be called for seating. Upon getting seated, we were seated in the back near a door where the staff was going in and out of the door, causing my purse to drop and no apologies. Also our table was made for 5 people but we were a party of 4. I understand they are busy but this isn't the first time we came on Valentine's Day either. Our waitstaff, you can tell he was pushy and rushing us-starts off by saying, "I recommend you ordering everything at the same time because our kitchen is busy." Then proceeds to pour some water in my glass and ice chips are falling on the table. Also, I ordered one of the steak chef recommendations (medium) and my husband also ordered a steak (medium) but his steak comes out well. Way over cooked! Our lobster mac and cheese was bland, the waitstaff recommended the squash soup as a favorite but to me it was not good. Honestly the only thing good and worth the hype were the French fries and the bacon our friends had. There are definitely better establishments that we have been to with better quality and I had to say that because capital grille is/was amazing but they have to do better. Oh and let's not forget their were giving out roses at the end of night once you finished dinner but guess which two ladies didn't get any.... read more

My friends and I made reservations to have dinner here and take advantage of Magical Dining after the movies. We checked in at the host stand and saw party after party after party that came in after us get sat before we did. When we finally got sat, we were sat in a secluded room by the windows. It felt like we were being hidden away from the rest of the diners. We got greeted and we mentioned interest in participating in Magical Dining and that's where everything went downhill fast. Our server Darius was polite, but his entire demeanor changed. When we asked for recommendations he recommended everything that was an add on and had an additional charge... nothing that was already included. As a server myself, I know that tactic; push the expensive stuff to bump up the check. Servers rarely stopped by the table and food took forever to come out. Dinner took almost 3 hours, which is insane! Our food was placed in front of the wrong person as well as when we were being marked for the next course. We asked for split checks and I had things on my check that belonged to another person, my friend ended up giving me cash. Overall, the entire experience was a waste of time and money. I didn't have high expectations since it's a Darden restaurant, but they completely ruined our dining experience. read more

Went here for a work event and we had one of the rooms. The service and food was excellent. We shared multiple different appetizers such as the lobster & crab cakes, shrimp cocktail and calamari. All were delicious. For some starters a few ordered the lobster bisque which was incredible. Very creamy and full of lobster meat. The heirloom and burrata salad was very good too, great for a shareable appetizer. For meals there were many items ordered and I cannot speak for how things were, however the lobster tails were huge and looked good and I heard the waygu was delicious (it was the American one). I personally ordered the sliced filet with cipollini onions, wild mushrooms, and fig essence. It was very good. I wanted ribeye but the server suggested that be cooked no less than medium and I prefer medium rare so I went with the filet. We ordered a bunch of sides for the table: hash browns with caviar, lobster Mac and cheese, mushrooms, au gratin potatoes, creamed spinach, and Brussels sprouts. All were very good but the hash browns, lobster mac, and Brussels were probably my favorite. For dessert I ordered the coconut cream pie. This thing was massive. It was good and had a bit of a cheesecake taste to it. I don't know if I would order it again though- it didn't wow me. read more

So disappointed- very salty scallops and the risotto lacked both lobster and flavor. Don't see myself wanting to get robbed here again. Did I mention my husband want done with his appetizer and they came a swiped his plate away. Very rude. The ambiance is not but not worth the price at all. You live you dine and you learn. read more
Anthony took me to the Capital Grille for Valentine's Day and it did not disappoint!! Everyone was so kind. I loved how the hosts all were wearing black and red for Valentine's Day! It added to the fun of the evening. We started with a shrimp cocktail and the dirty goose martini. (Not pictured) This was phenomenal! The shrimp was huge and the cocktail sauce was perfect!! The martini was perfectly prepared and the bleu cheese stuffed olives were *chef's kiss* For our entrees, I had our server's recommendation the double Cajun filet. This was PERFECT! I'm not sure if the Cajun spice caused the crust on the filet to be crisp or if that is the norm here, but it was phenomenal. The steak was cooked perfectly. Anthony had the Sea Bass and it was great as well! We also had the Lobster Mac & Cheese and the Spinach. Both sides were also great. Just when we thought we were absolutely full, our server convinced us we needed dessert. Usually, we aren't easily convinced but we agreed and went with his recommendation, the Crème Brûlée. This was fabulous and had us reminiscing of our honeymoon. Ultimately, I've learned everything is amazing here :-) Service, Ambiance, Food, and Drinks- you can't go wrong! read more

Participated in the generous pour and sampled six varieties of great wines for $45. Also had magical dining which was an amazing experience. The filets here are always the best. The only thing that didn't allow me was the clam chowder, everything else was above and beyond. Our server Preston was outstanding, checked on us frequently, and had great expertise on not only the food, but the generous pour selections as well. Will definitely be returning. Also, there is free valet parking in front of the restaurant which makes it much more convenient than parking in the garage. read more
