Firstly, the have a little backroom that can easily accommodate a fairly large group. I sat back there for both the dinner and lunch. Everything me and my colleagues as well as friends and family ate on my two occasions tasted amazing. My lunch poke bowl tasted SO fresh. The cocktails were great. All of the flatbreads ordered were unique in flavor. I love a very flat flatbread pizza and this one did not disappoint. My sister loved the burger. The staff was extremely friendly from the hostess stand to the service. If anything, my only tip is give yourself time. Parking can be a nightmare on Park Ave. especially on the weekends and the service can be a little delayed but still friendly as mentioned. I had a good time on both of my visits! read more

I finally got to try Boca's Ladies Night special on Thursday. It comes with a mini charcuterie, ceaser salad and truffle fries. The perfect portions for a hot girl dinner! I also got a side of grilled chicken for the salad. A side a chicken is pretty bland at restaurants, but I was thoroughly surprised by how flavorful it was. Wonderful service and great ambiance. This was a brunch stop. Parking can be tricky when a festival is going on. We made reservations. Seated right away. It's an airy open concept. They offer a nice size bar area and outdoor seating. We started with a Fritz Tree, mixed with Limoncello, Butterfly Elderflower and Hibiscus Grapefruit flavors and the Oversized Cinnamon Roll. Wow! The spritz were delicious, not too sweet. The cinnamon was perfection and a nice shareable size. For our main dish we ordered the House-Cured salmon Lox. It's served charcuterie style which really liked when sharing. Went during the slower happy hour and they were better able to accommodate gluten-free options for an allergy, versus a busy dinner when they said their gluten-free wasn't completely gluten-free. Boca is in a perfect location on Park Ave to grab a nice dinner or drink! We brought my dad here for a dinner before heading over to Leu Gardens. We went heavy on the apps, with the calamari, zucchini fries, parmesan truffle fries, and Brussels sprouts. The zucchini fries were the standout to me - I loved the goddess sauce for dipping. I'm not a big calamari person, but my boyfriend said he'd order it again! We didn't love the sauce with the brussels sprouts, but on their own they were nicely cooked. I chose the salmon for a lighter option, and the squash was a nice pairing. Not the most flavorful salmon I've ordered, but still a really solid entree. My dad loved his burger, and my boyfriend really enjoyed his salad with chicken. Service was kind and attentive. I'd return for sure! I had this place on my list for a while, finally decided to give it a try. The decor was beautiful and the chairs are comfy, the music isn't too loud either. Great for dates, simple brunch's or just a day out. I opted for a grass fed burger to give it a try. I asked for it to be well done, however upon cutting into my burger was a medium rare burger.... I immediately sent it back, my waitress stated she asked for it to be well done. (Not her fault) .. the burger took a little while to come back out, when it did come back out, it was good and I got a basket of fresh fries since mine were already cold from waiting. The fries were my fav, crispy and crunchy well seasoned. Overall I wouldn't get the burger again LOL. But I would visit here again, the service was great and the food was good. read more

I had a fantastic dinner at Boca last night! Both the hostess and server were sweet, helpful, and patient. I appreciated this very much especially because I was there to meet a group of ladies I had never met before (thanks to the Timeliest app!), and I was understandably a bit nervous going in. Aside from the wonderful service, the food and drink were excellent as well (all 5 other ladies agreed!). I had a glass of their moscato which was, quite possibly, the most delicious moscato I've had in at last 20 years. I also had the Cheesy Corn Fritters and Brussels Sprouts, both which were throughly enjoyed by the entire table. For my entree, I chose the Sweet Potato Gnocchi and I substituted capers for the mushrooms...a choice that proved to be a very good idea! This place has been on my list for a while to check out and I finally had the opportunity to. The restaurant is nice. The lighting is comfortable and the decor is cool. They might wanna dust some of the hanging xmas decorations for webs though. There was plenty of seating when we arrived so we got a table almost immediately. We were greeted by our waitress who introduced herself and took our drink orders while we reviewed the menu. I opted for the ginger pomberry which I think was great. To eat I went for the papparadelle bolognese and that was a good meal. My fiancé opted for a burger and it seems that if you don't specify, they cook the burgers closer to medium rare. The waitress kindly took the burger back and brought us a fresh burger cooked well. The fries were probably the best part of I kept picking at them between my forkfuls of pasta. We were here today for an engagement celebration and had the best experience! Making a reservation was easy, they were able to accommodate our large party (11 adults) without blinking. Megan was our server and she never missed a beat despite having other tables in addition to us. They let us decorate the table and even held our boxes for us to use to pack up after. The food was incredible and the drinks were cutesy and smooth. Bottomless mimosas, mocktails, specialty cocktails... all heavily praised! Our waiter was very attentive overall with several linger lapses in service. The restaurant is very loud but offers a good vibe. We ordered some coffee to start and got a great French press served with cream and aNice presentation. We placed our food order and set and enjoyed our coffee. The food was a very, very long wait. Boca is a warm, inviting fine casual dining restaurant. It's definitely not a sports bar, no TV's. They have small intimate dining areas that are very cozy with pleasant decor. It offers a very sizable bar and patio/sidewalk dining areas. We decided to sit at the bar. My husband and I both spotted the Scampi Style Seafood dinner, which we both ordered. This wonderful seafood dish was loaded with chunks of Lobster, shrimp, topped with mussels in the shell, served in a broth with linguini. It was delicious, but I must report that it lacked zest, somewhat bland, which really surprised me. My husband and I shared a Caesar salad because it was definitely more than enough for two. Our bar server, Zey (female) was quite friendly, attentive and efficient. We will definitely be returning to this delightful restaurant. Now, I must tell you about their very conscience, friendly and gracious manager, Erin. When we arrived, the sun was already down and it was quite chilly. This restaurant had full glass doors that can be opened to the sidewalk cafe dining area. I asked the hostess if she would ask the manager if they could close one of the doors as it was as chilly inside as it was outside. Erin, the manager came to us with a genuine hello and informed us they would close one of the doors. This is not the best part...Erin actually offered me a large cup of hot water so that I may hold the cup to warm my hands!!! What a wonderful and caring person! I declined, but thanked her very much. They offer great happy hour specials. The only downside I have to report is parking. As many of you know, finding parking downtown Winter Park is frustrating to say the least. I can honestly say, after eating here a year ago - this place has changed a lot and they have my business again. My fiance and I were strolling through Park Ave and hit the corner of Boca. For months, I've been avoiding this place but he said to give it another shot. We sat down and was served immediately. He got the old fashion and I got the hibiscus martini. For food, we shared the staff meal, which was chicken alfredo and skirt steak. Dessert - peanut butter pie. 5/5 - everything was delicious and so well made. The drinks were crafted to perfection, the pasta was creamy, the steak was the perfect medium, but the dessert was the star. Never had roasted marshmallow smeared on the plate! Finished the night off with espresso martinis. Shout out, Parker for giving us an amazing date night after 10 years of being together. read more

We came here for the Magical Dining month. We have tried some incredible food with this program. We ordered the Lobster Wontons and the Apple chicken flatbread. Both were good but we liked the flatbread better. Although we didn't take a picture of our entrees we ordered the steak and mushroom pasta. That steak was gas! The vegetables around it were so good. Sonoma Cutrer (for the same price as Armando's decent pour-as one should be!) shocked at the SO small pour at Boca! What a rip off! My family and I had the chance to visit Boca after a day of walking around Winter Park, and it was such a great experience. We started with the fried green tomato appetizer, which had a perfect crunch, and I loved how the pimento cheese and bacon complemented the flavor. I was meant to go to Briarpatch but they made a decision to close early and it was Christmas Eve so my options were slim... We were hungry and disappointed that the restaurant we intended to go to was closed so we just hopped in the only open restaurant close by. The calamari was way too salty and chewy. The Cesar salad was $18 for one Romaine lettuce cut in half and grilled. Like why are we cooking lettuce. It was soggy and charred.... It's $3 for a pack of 3 of romaine at Aldi like what are we doing. I asked my waiter for more dressing and she just never came back with it. She saw my full plate of calamari and ignored it because she obviously didn't want to address anything. The burger was ok, better than ok actually. It was good but why did so much juice come out of it. I care about quality #1. This places lacks quality. Another thing I care about strongly is service and the service sucked. We kicked things off with a basil lemonade, then I went for the seafood pasta, and my husband had the short rib tacos with truffle fries and a side of corn. The pasta was my top pick of the night.
