    Crab eggs benedict
    Kelli G.

Decided to have breakfast instead of lunch today with my coworker... She recommended this spot and it didn't disappoint! The vibe is very eclectic lots of beautiful large stain glass chandeliers all over. We started off with a cocktail which didn't disappoint. I had the dark expresso martini and she had a bloody mary both made with love. For breakfast I had the crab eggs benedict which was so yummy and she had the chicken and biscuit. We also got a cinnamon roll to try and they are known for them everything was yummy. Only thing I'd say is it was so cold at the bar and the food got a little cold. But overall great spot and area. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying a few more cocktails on the patio.

Tried this cafe for the first time on Sunday during brunch and was seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive despite having multiple larger tables. We started with the seasonal blueberry & lemon cinnamon roll which was pretty dry and disappointing. However, the entrees we ordered were very delicious! The space felt cozy and had a homey feel. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Tasty, filling, fresh, and comforting. The breakfast potatoes were a mix of red and sweet which I loved. So unexpected but it was nice twist from all the savory flavors. I finally tried their infamous cinnamon roll and it was soft, sweet, and not dry at all! My only complaint was the OJ. Not sure what brand they used but it wasn't my favorite. Overall, the service and food were great. I'll be back!

Great mix between bar and brunch. Super fun to people watch and have a great meal. The staff were super friendly and gave great recommendations. I always pass by but this was my first time going inside. Already making plans for our next brunch here.

What a nice little cafe! I stumbled upon this beautiful cafe when I was doing the annual wine walk. I am so glad I came to check it out! I ordered the crabs Benedict ($18) which came with hash browns. It was very filling that I think it could've been shared by 2 girls. I wasn't the biggest fan of the crab cake itself but everything else was amazing. The eggs were poached perfectly and the flavor was top notch. I was surprised they were serving alcohol at 8 am, but it's Florida, more and more things surprise me each day! The Bloody Mary was tasty and a bit too strong for my liking in the morning. Had I ordered it 2 hours later when I was a bit more awake, I probably would've enjoyed it more. Nonetheless, this place is a catch! I will definitely be back to try other things!

The White Wolf Cafe does not take reservations so we showed up as a family of 4 for Easter Sunday Brunch about 945am to a bustling business. Plenty of employees taking care of patrons at their inside-outside casua atmosphere andl seating. Even though there were people waiting, after we checked we were called less than 15 minutes later. We sat outside amd our waitress was friendly and attentive with food, drinks and recommendations. Menu was expansive for any palate, we started with their blueberry- lemon ricotta cinnamon bun, burger with fries, chicken sandwich with chips, fried chicken with gravy and a sausage-egg-cheese wrap with homefries. Coffee was delicious as was all of the entrees. Nice portions and fair prices. Enjoy!

Came to Orlando for my cousins babyshower We were staying near the hotel ( which was ehhh not the best double tree Hilton I have stayed in) we were looking for a place to have breakfast and we came up across this place white wolf cafe, its a hidden gem -they can use a bigger parking lot -We had to wait a few mins which wasn't bad it was pretty busy -The outside is nice, a few tables outside, the specials for that day -the inside was even more busy, the ceiling had unique chandeliers, very pretty very cool environment -Amber was our server and she was amazing! She didn't rush us or anything and even suggested what we should get when we weren't even sure what to eat - the food came rather quickly, good temperature and good taste -the juices were ur basic normal juices This is a place where I will definitely come back

White Wolf Cafe has some real potential, and overall we enjoyed our visit, mostly thanks to the food, which was largely excellent. The shrimp and grits were the star of the table, hands down the best dish of the experience and absolutely worth coming back for. The country fried chicken was very tasty, and the cinnamon bun was delicious. The colossal pancake lived up to its name in size, but unfortunately fell a little flat on flavor, with some seasoning tweaks it could easily be a showstopper. The Bloody Mary, sadly, was a miss for us, not quite what we were hoping for from a brunch cocktail. The service, however, is where the experience took a hit. We waited over 20 minutes just to have our order taken, and drinks were also slow to arrive. At one point, our son-in-law had to get up from the table to track down our server. Our server also seemed to be having a rough day, which was noticeable and did affect the overall vibe of the meal. White Wolf Cafe has genuinely great food and a great concept, this place could be absolutely fantastic with more attentive and consistent service. We'd give it another shot because the kitchen really delivers, and we're rooting for them to get it all firing on all cylinders!

The cinnamon roll was the highlight of my meal as it is as warm and soft. The whole table finished it all. I was actually disappointed in my French toast. It was hard and I felt I was just eating regular brioche bread. The service was great however. I would still go back but I just won't order the French toast unfortunately.

Food was a 10/10. I ordered the country fried chicken. It was a little salty along with the biscuits and gravy, and that was the best biscuits and gravy. I think I've probably ever had. The staff was very friendly accommodating. It was a little noisy, but it was the middle of brunch.

Brunch at White Wolf was great. I had the steak and eggs that was delicious and well priced. Service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be getting this meal again.

I love the White Wolf Cafe! Great location, friendly servers, cool vibe inside and solid food menu. We went for brunch for my birthday, and the White Wolf team was very accommodating to our large party. I built my own omelet, which came with a biscuit and hash browns. My wife isn't a big breakfast fan, so she got the chicken salad on a croissant. She got to pick a side and went with the pasta salad. She didn't love the pasta salad but would get the chicken salad again. The bar is cool and chill, I will definitely go back, even to watch a little football and grab a drink at the bar.

Been hearing about and seeing great things about the White Wolf Café basically since I moved to the area. Living so far away, I have to time perfectly when I can go to these great restaurants. Well once Saturday morning, lightning struck and we were able to come! We get really lucky with street parking, wait like 20 minutes for a two-top, and get seated and started. Ambiance is beyond cool. Right there in the middle of Ivanhoe, it's surrounded by really cool restaurants, little shops, and of course the great Lake Ivanhoe. Really love coming to this area. And the inside it pretty cool, as well. Dark wood everywhere, art work all over the wall, and Tiffany-style stained glass lamp shades, several of them, hanging from the ceiling. Felt like the inside of an old antique shop. Service was great, too. A very nice fellas. Kept the drinks flowing, food came out at a good pace. No issues here. Now onto the food. I had the Country Fried Chicken (Marinated buttermilk fried chicken breast smothered in homemade sausage gravy. Two eggs with hash browns, home fries or grits & biscuits, toast or English muffins). This was insanely good. A good sized chicken breast, fried to crispy perfection, moist and juicy throughout, and smothered with that excellent gravy. Lovely. The home fries were both white and sweet potatoes, cooked all the way through and charred juuust enough to also be lovely. The eggs were scrambled, they were fine. I also got the chance to try the Baton Rouge Burger (Orlando Burger Battle winner! Cajun seasoned 8oz brisket short rib blend topped with goat cheese, roasted red peppers, citrus slaw and "tobacco" onions). Wow, what a burger! A nice sized patty. Too many burger patties around town have been shrinking lately.. Excellent tang from the goat cheese, excellent acid and sweetness from the slaw, and I'm not sure what was tobacco-like about those onions, but they were the crunch that set this burger off and made it perfect. We got dessert, against our better judgment. We ordered the Cinnamon Roll Ice Cream Sandwich. Wow. Definitely don't order this with no plans to share it. This giant, ooey gooey roll is sliced and stuffed with a nice, not-too-sweet vanilla ice cream, and then the whole thing is absolutely engulfed in whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and caramel. It was overwhelming, but not too overwhelming. I have no regrets. Overall, this place has earned it's place in my top three breakfast places in Orlando, without a doubt. The charm and effort of this place was very appreciated. Since I've gone, they've sold to a larger entity, so I hope they don't mess this place up. Orlandans are not very forgiving of that sort of thing.

The interior kinda has a hipster-rustic vibe but with more comfortable chairs. Prices seemed reasonable. Service seemed a bit overwheled but again, I think the massive event letting out had something to do with that. I got a cheese board, truffled fries, fried chicken caviar, and a deviled affogato for dessert. My date for the creste di gallo and the olive oil citrus cake. Everything was was very good, with the standout being the fries; I know that truffle essence flavor isn't for everyone but it worked really well for me in the fry sauce. My dates pasta was also very good, the pesto sauce was zesty and complimented it well. And I really like the olive oil cake with mascarpone, super light and perfectly sweet. The very minor issues were that the fried chicken was pretty deeply fried and way harder than expected, which I don't mind but may not be your thing. Devil's food cake at the bottom of the affogato was also not as sweet as I would have liked. Overall a really enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend.

5 Star update to include their incredible new food program! (Get the carrots and red cabbage salad…read moreand the pan con tomate STAT.) Quicksand is a natural wine bar that will change the way Orlandoans expect to feel at a bar. Pro-tip: ask the staff for suggestions and settle in! It's no secret that I've become a big fan of natural wine in the past few years, and that is 100% due to Golden Hour - a wine shop in Baldwin Park that I randomly discovered on their first day open. Heather, who brought us Golden Hour, opened Quicksand in late 2024 for those of us wondering why Orlando doesn't have a great wine bar like the ones we've seen in cities around the world for decades. ***Finding the bar: Quicksand is located directly next to Educe Salon (across from Black Bean Deli). It does not have a big sign, but it's the first door you'll see as you walk from the parking lot. ***Parking: Did I mention the large parking lot? There's plenty of parking available there, or on street behind the bar. ***Service style: As you walk in, head to the part of the bar closest to the entrance where you can get recs from their staff and don't have to try to bully your way through folks sitting at the bar to get their attention. ## Did I mention that everything here is intentional? From that simple detail that makes ordering another glass MUCH easier than flagging someone down in the middle of the bar, to the position of the speakers... *** The Food: Chef Leah Cordova has crafted a seasonal menu at Quicksand, currently consisting of sandwiches, small plates, and some heartier dishes. All of them have a focus on quality ingredients with many sourcing their components from local farms or special producers. My faves include: - Pan con tomate: The tomato here is actually a combination of fresh slices of small tomatoes as well as another preparation that adds a wonderful tang. It's truly a special version of this small dish. - Whichever salad they are featuring, but special mention to the carrot and red cabbage salad that has just the perfect amount of fennel! - The white bean dish. I didn't catch the name, but it's a winner! - Cacio e pepe: This is exactly the rich, creamy dish you are dreaming of. - Whichever ice cream they are featuring (Chef Leah also operated Sweet Thyme, her ice-cream project with inventive flavors. Faves include the black pepper and date as well as the carrot cake) ***Ambiance: As you walk in you'll feel enveloped in a warm glow of subtle sconces and feel immediately comfortable. It feels like Quicksand has always been here. It's unstuffy, unfussy, and so inviting it has me researching squatter's rights... The music will sound loud at first, but then you'll realize you don't have to raise your voice at all to talk to people. This is because the speakers have been built into the furniture low and towards the floor. INTENTIONALITY. Besides the volume, the playlist has been painstakingly curated by the team so that you'll enjoy the music, but not quite be able to place the artist. ***The WHY And now, my favorite part. The wall of farmers/winemakers. Someone on staff filled me in to the fact that these are portraits of the various human beings who farm, harvest, and create the wines you can get at the bar. These are actual people, not giant corporations. And that same staff member reminded me that these individual producers are farmers for 11 months and 2 weeks of the year, and wine makers for only 2 weeks. None of these people are household names. None of them are in it for the money. They are in it to produce beautiful wine the way it has been produced since the beginning of wine-making: with minimal intervention, meaning no insane additives that give me headaches; and no mass production. The thing I've come to love about "natural" wine is that it is intensely principled. Quicksand is what happens when *every single link* in the supply chain (Farmer/Producer; Importer; Distributor; and Wine Bar) prioritizes principles over profits. And you can feel it the moment you walk in. This is not a corporate chain, nor will you find multiple locations and franchises. Not only is the wine list filled with some of the most incredible bottles I've had the pleasure of trying (many of which you can't get anywhere else in Florida), but the staff truly believes in the power of creating this special "third space" for a community to gather around good, ethically-sourced wine. I can't wait until they start serving bites alongside the wine! (Someone told me the small menu will consist of cheeses, charcuterie, focaccia, chips, etc.) SALUD!

The staff was very knowledgeable about all of the different wines and helped to select the best glass for what I was in the mood for that evening. The bar was very clean and there is a lot more space then what you see when you first walk in. It was all very clean and modern looking inside. Looking forward to my next trip in.

There were about 16 of us in the group, and when I first arrived, it was pretty packed -- I almost didn't get a seat. Thankfully, everyone was super nice and accommodating, making space so I could sit comfortably and enjoy the night. The atmosphere was relaxed, inviting, and full of good energy. They have comfortable seating and fans on the walls, which helped keep things cool and cozy. It's definitely a great spot to get together after work and wind down with friends, coworkers, or even new people. Trivia Night was a blast! The host kept everyone entertained, engaged, and laughing throughout the evening. It felt very well-organized and had a nice community feel -- I'd absolutely go again for that experience alone. A few things did surprise me, though. Since it's a wine bar, I expected mostly alcoholic drinks, but their Instagram made it seem like they also offered non-alcoholic options. When I asked for a soda, I was told they only serve alcohol -- no soft drinks, no mocktails. So if you're not drinking, plan to bring your own or grab something before you go. Later in the night, I got hungry. Their Instagram also gave me the impression that they served food, but they actually don't -- the food comes from a food truck around the back. When I went to order, the lady running the truck told me, "I'd rather sell out...," which threw me off. I wasn't sure what she meant, but it came across as rude or maybe even personal, which was disappointing since I was ready to buy something. That said, I don't hold that against Grape and The Grain itself. The staff inside were kind and welcoming, the crowd was friendly, and the overall vibe was great. For the atmosphere, comfort, and fun trivia experience, they get a full 5 stars from me. I'll definitely be back -- next time I'll just eat beforehand and bring my own non-alcoholic drink!
