Service was good! Everything was clean and the employees were nice :) Nice spot with air conditioning to cool off in the summer Food was prepared super quick, very refreshing and a perfect size bowl for a light lunch. I got the Rice bowl with chicken and the soy glaze and I enjoyed all the veggies- wish there was more protein but I'm obsessed with chicken. My friend got the Cobb salad and she enjoyed the face that it came with a lot of refreshing toppings, the homemade mustard vinagrette dressing was the perfect amount and she got half of an avocado, Will be back!
The food is delicious and flavorful. Ambiance is alright. Service is good. Good experience overall.
Nic & Luc popped up online while I was looking for a lunch spot in downtown Orlando. I went there during lunch on a weekday. It is located inside the PNC building so If you don't know is there you will probably missed it. I ordered their specialty of the day the carnitas bowl. I ordered to dine in but the guy at the register misunderstood me and I got a to go order. He looked a little confused. Anyway, I took my order back to work. The bowl was a good portion but I feel the carnitas needed a little more flavor and maybe some extra toppings. I also got a side salad which I truly enjoyed since it wasn't an iceberg lettuce salad. This one had spinach, arugula and other leafy greens. They have breakfast and lunch all day. I need to try something else next time. It is a cute place, I definitely be back.
The restaurant is located inside a law firm building or something like it. We were a little confused at first because we didn't realize the location had changed, but once we found it, everything went smoothly. The pork and hash meal was a decent dish, but the pork itself lacked seasoning. The potatoes were nicely crispy and the egg was good. The toast was just toast. My boyfriend ordered the sandwich and said it tasted like a simple bacon, egg, and cheese. The service was very friendly, and the ordering process was simple. You order at the front when you walk in, and the food is brought to your table. The ambiance was clean, organized and welcoming. Overall, our experience was good. Will I come back? Maybe. If I do, I would try something else.
Nic & Luc moved into a brick and mortar really close to where I work so I had to try it out. I found out about Nic & Luc through Lemonhearted on Instagram. I really enjoy her recommendations since it's never paid and just honest journalism. I think more Orlando influencers need to just be honest about what is good and what isn't good, rather than trying to sign everything expensive and trendy as such. Also I think when promoting things, people should practice discernment and ethics. I went there during my lunch hour and even walked there. I love it when cities are made to be walkable. It was a bit too hot, but city girl do what she gotta. I met a friend for lunch there. It's inside of a bank building. The staff was nice and it is an order and sit down situation where they bring it to you after you order. I got the honey lavender corn muffin and the Pig-Wich. First, the honey lavender corn muffin was insanely delicious. I still think about it. It's a nice dense and thick muffin that has a whipped corn honey lavender muffin. The sweetness of the topping and the crumb texture of the muffin made for a very nice bite. My rating is a 10/10 for this muffin. It cost $4. The sandwich is a breakfast sandwich with duroc bacon, egg that they'll make how you want it, cheddar, spinach, tomato, and garlic aioli on a brioche bun. I requested scrambled, just because as much as I like a sunny side up egg, it does make eating messy. This sandwich was a 9/10. It was delicious, well made, and easy hand held. Best part, it only cost me $10. Overall, I would rate them as a 9/10. I think what I got was great but there are other items that are a little pricey. However, if you're a downtown Orlando person and you work or live here. I highly recommend.
They are BACK!!! It's been 15 months since we have been able to enjoy the fantastically crafted food from Chef Leroy at Nic & Luc. They are now open in their new downtown Orlando location in the PNC Bank building next to Lake Eola. SUPER cute entrance in the lobby of the building. Great ambiance. Staff was super nice. Chef Leroy has created a few new items on the menu. I tried the new Pork & Hash... that pork was so flavorful. And the potatoes?! I don't know how they get them so crispy yet soft inside. Mmmmm. My husband got the Breakfast Burrito (formally the El Burro)... the same finger licking good taste that we have missed. For dessert, we got the dark chocolate croissant and the brown butter chocolate chip cookie. Mmmm. So tender and delicious. We have never had a pastry that we didn't like from them. They are not open on the weekends anymore (for now) so you need to catch them 8a-3p Monday - Friday. Such a great vibe inside. I wish I worked in the building, I'd take coffee breaks all the time Bottom line... if you haven't had the please of indulging in their hand crafted recipes, and fresh baked pasties... you NEED to make time to go.
The Huevos Rancheros and Pork and Hash were amazing. For the pork and hash I recommend over easy for the egg to use the yolk for a sauce. Even better, add another egg to the order, but you will be full. It all tasted fresh and clean. Service was fast and friendly. Vibes were clean modern.
We honestly cannot get enough of this place. So fresh, quality ingredients and service is always so fast! Staff is so sweet and very family friendly vibe when dining in Everything we have had is always well prepared, fresh & flavorful. My go to spot for suuuure! We ordered a burrito to go and had to turn around to place another order for more food which speaks to how good it was! Amazing every time!

What I ordered: White chocolate Lavender Latte Chocolate chip cookie Bacon, Egg and Toast The service was good, though I wish when I told them it was my first time they would've made some suggestions. The food was excellent, my eggs were ordered over medium and cooked perfectly. The potatoes were crispy outside and soft inside, loved them. My white Chocolate Lavender Latte was very good also.
My favorite brunch near me. It's a GEM tucked away in a plaza. We went right when they opened and was greeted by fresh pastries. We got the biscuit and gravy special (with chorizo) and the salmon rice bowl (sub quinoa). Great post workout meal as it didnt leave me feeling grimy after at all. We took the hugeeee brown butter cookie to go. It was buttery, sweet and salty with deep butter flavors. Super simple vibes no frill ambiance.
What a hidden gem! The restaurant is located in an unassuming strip mall, but you are transported when you get inside. The vibe is casual and cozy, with some modern touches. You can choose from a wide variety of food, pastries, and drinks. All of the food items tasted super fresh and were delicious. The employees were super friendly and made us feel right at home. There is lots of seating inside and it is a great place to meet friends and enjoy and delicious meal. We are looking forward to coming back and trying some more items!
Food and service close to a 5 star but.. -1 star because they only had 1 high chair for toddlers. Unfortunately, I came on a mommy lunch date with 2 babies and decided to stay after noticing their was only one high chair. I ate with my toddler standing next to me on the bench for my lunch. And if you have children you already know I couldn't enjoy my lunch in peace. - 2 stars because they didn't have changing tables in the bathroom. Prob will not be back because they do not cater to families or mothers.

Been looking forward to trying this place and finally got a chance to check it out on a Friday morning. Street parking was available at this time a couple blocks away. This cafe is located inside the PNC bank building so might be a little hard to spot at first. Place is clean, modern, and inviting. We split the pork and hash as well as the smoked salmon tartine. The hash had delicious pork belly braised in ginger beer which made it really tender. The salmon tartine was also a delight and it was a nice touch that a side salad was included. Coffee was decent too, but the highlight of this cafe was the food. Would definitely return to try some of their other food options. Only qualm is that this place doesn't open on weekends which I think is a missed opportunity but I guess it heavily leans towards the daytime downtown working crowd. read more

What a roller coaster of a café. Originally I went to the Longwood location only to find out that it did not exist. I called the Restaurant to find out that the downtown location was open. I was a little sad but still determined to try these burritos that I had found on social media. When I got to the location, my partner stayed in the parking lot outside to avoid paying for parking. The café was located in the PNC building right on the left side as soon as you walk in. The location was so clean and so gorgeous! Just a very refreshing café that had this gorgeous modern touch to it. The service was great! The café attendant Ben was very nice and I was excited to find out that he also thought the burritos was a favorite on the menu. When I got it it was burning hot in the bag which is so exciting since I was taking it to go. I had the Fruitloop Matcha, which was the special. It was so yummy and not overwhelmingly sweet. I also got the "cruffin" which was like a churro, dulce de leche muffin. I definitely look forward to coming back to trying something else on the menu. read more

Nic & Luc is a scratch kitchen located over in Longwood. I tend to frequent this spot since it is so close to my house. They serve breakfast, lunch and brunch items. They focus on fresh and natural ingredients. They source their ingredients from responsible suppliers and growers. When you walk in you'll see a relaxed cozy environment, enough seating for 30 people or so. They open at 10 AM and as soon as they open especially on the weekend you can expect a line to form. They've developed quite a reputation for good quality food. Their staff is incredibly friendly and attentive to your needs. I'm a frequent visitor and this time I opted for their standard breakfast of scrambled eggs with sausage and potatoes. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the sausage had a unique taste that I enjoyed. The potatoes had a great crisp on the outside while still being soft on the inside. My experience here is always positive, they also have a bakery that runs out quickly that contains cookies, muffins etc. You can expect high quality food from everything you order. The bottom line, this is a great lowkey spot for some good food for a solo trip or for a smaller group. read more

Reviewed this 2 years ago and it continues to be a 5 star experience. The food is freshly made with quality ingredients. The restaurant is clean and inviting for breakfast or lunch. This time we ordered a slice of Oreo and Dulce Leche Cheesecake to take home. The Oreo didn't make it home and the Dulce leche had to be shared because it was too delicious to eat alone. It's off the main road in a shopping center, not easy to see. But it's worth the effort! The Huevos Rancheros is not currently on the menu, but the chef made it for my husband. He loved every bite, which is saying a lot since he is very picky about this dish. I had the grits bowl with turkey sausage - ahhh! The scallions and carmelized onions made it special. The fresh bread with the house preserves was an added treat. We are so glad we ventured in on a whim. We've found a new favorite for breakfast/brunch or lunch. There is plenty of parking. A successful scratch kitchen requires vision, real ingredients, and great execution to combine all the elements. The chef and owner, Leroy, has accomplished the trifecta, in my opinion. Using Yelp to find a different place to try, I found N & L's menu interesting but had to bookmark it at the time. When my wife, son and I eventually visited, they wondered where we were headed as we turned into a business plaza. But as we parked and walked into the modern place and looked over the menu, the wondering ceased. We chose the Super Green Bowl, Korean BBQ Piggy, and Patty Melt Special. The warm bowl is vegan with plenty of flavor. On this day, the sweet potatoes were a bit underdone and we did not have time to ask for a redo. Both sandwiches packed flavor unique to their names. The pork carnitas for the BBQ are roasted and then soaked in their juices again made for a moist sandwich with the spice of the kimchi and the gochujang all on Olde Hearth sourdough made my taste buds do foodie cartwheels. On a take out order a couple weeks later, my Patty Melt special took on a wonderful flavor enhancement due to the housemade Nic & Luc Bacon Jam. You can buy these jams that have won awards (in Miami, if I remember correctly) at the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and on this weekday, and fairly empty with a regular stream of customers pick up orders. With limited hours of operation, you'll need to plan your visit, and, you'll be glad you did as you enjoy the made from scratch dishes and sandwiches. read more

* Vegetarian / Veggie review * I'm a vegetarian foodie that has a lot of meat eating friends who want to go to fun places that may or may not be veggie-friendly, so I'm here to tell you what to order if you find yourself in the same situation :) Just search "vegetarian" or "veggie"! Y'ALL. GO HERE. I'm normally more of savory brunch person so I got the Huevos Rancheros but also snagged a bite of my friends Stuffed Baked French Toast with Nutella. Both items were SOOO GOOD and also there were a ton of other veggie friendly items on the menu! I think they also have specials which might change from time to time but there was at least another veggie friendly item on there as well. Highly recommend! read more
We were on our way to the usual places when this place caught my eye and decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did! My husband ordered the keto scramble and I ordered the Korean BBQ Piggy sandwich! Both were absolutely delicious and will surely come back. I can't wait to bring my friends here to try other items on the menu. It's also great that they mark their menus to let you know if it's vegan, vegetarian, contains dairy or gluten free. read more

Quaint little breakfast eatery tucked away in a strip mall. This was my first visit there and upon entering you kinda have to figure out the process. You grab a menu, look it over, order and pay then try to seat yourself if a table is open. It can get crowded when no tables are open and people just standing about. Outside tables and chairs would be my only recommendation. The food was tasty. I had the keto scramble which was light and delicious. My partner had the shrimp and grits which he said was nice and creamy, but could have done with a deeper bowl. My partner enjoyed the smooth match latte and the coffee was smooth. Overall, a nice experience and would recommend. read more

I had to come and see what the hype is about and wow this place is good! I ordered the special which was good and unique as it's rare to see béchamel sauce on a menu! I also took home some sweet treats that were delicious and definitely made fresh as they were still warm! I also really liked that they try to reduce plastic use with reusable trays and silverware. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were pretty busy from 10-11 on Saturday but with plenty of seating inside. read more

The highest compliment I can pay Nic & Luc's is that this is the kind of Kitchen where you re-think food...in the BEST possible way. My first visit and I went all in on the Korean Piggy Melt. Why? Because pulled pork, kimchi, and ciabatta bread are not on my list of favorites. Nor am I a fan of "melts." That said, this was one of the best sandwiches I've had in recent memory. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. That pulled pork was succulent. The spice of the kimchi did not overpower the whole flavor of the sandwich - including the bread. Also, RESPECT for the amount of hustle this family puts in to running this minimalist, but attractive and CLEAN dining space. Every patron was greeted, every table was wiped down quickly. Finally, I treated myself to a guava muffin (also not a fan of guava). And it was FANTASTIC for breakfast the next morning. So much guava in that tasty, sizeable muffin - absolute bang for my buck. Now I know...this is the best Kitchen in Longwood and they've earned (another) loyal fan. Chef's Kiss! read more

My wife and I ate here for a quick lunch. We've been trying for a while but their hours didn't work for us during the week usually. We spoke with the owner, who has a tremendous story that is worth telling! We were the only ones there so we got to hear it all! Great homemade food and it's all from scratch! read more

Wow! I stumbled upon a gem. The first time I went here I had the hueveros racheros. Which I scarfed down with out a picture. It was the best thing I have eaten in a long long time. I went back today and ordered the Baja omelette and my mom had the pork hash. Wow I'm not sure they serve anything bad. It's family owned and a hidden gem. read more

I came here looking for a healthy salad for lunch. At first I thought the menu was a little weird but I ended up being very impressed. The So-Cal was delicious.. so good that I might try to eat it without a protein next time (which says a lot). This place is oddly located but a gem. I'll be back ASAP! read more
Adding this place to our favorites! The food was delicious! The seasoning was just right, not overly salty like most restaurants. Definitely come early for the baked goods. The locals said they came here at 1030 and most of the bakery were out. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Causal ambiance with reasonable price. Definitely recommend this place! read more
