    Croque madame

I'm surprised on the lower scoring of this cafe on yelp. The salmon Benedict was quite delicious. The salmon was the right portion and the English muffin was still crispy and not soggy. The Benedict sauce was very flavorful. The service was great even though there was one server for the whole place. Ambiance was casual for a cafe.

When you replace one of my favorite places to eat, you really have to come with it. In this case, they didn't hit the mark yet... but I genuinely believe they will. You can tell they're passionate about their food and focused on getting things right, and that gives me confidence that once they tweak a few things, this will be a great spot. It didn't start great, though. I was intrigued by their specialized coffee section and ordered the Almond Bomb Cappuccino. Unfortunately, it was neither almond nor bomb. Barely a cappuccino, honestly -- just an expensive coffee I wish I hadn't ordered. Food-wise, the menu jumps from American classics to French staples to Puerto Rican dishes. That tells me the chef is Puerto Rican, because nobody puts mamposteao on a menu unless they really know how to make it. My wife can't resist a croque madame, so she got that -- and they were so accommodating that they made my son off-menu chicken tenders and fries (which were great, by the way... add them to the menu!). The croque madame was almost perfect: the right bread, crispy salty meat, creamy béchamel. The egg was a bit under, so I'd ask for it cooked through next time. The salad on the side was surprisingly delicious -- it almost stole the spotlight. I went straight for the pork, rice, and beans, and honestly, that alone made me feel like this place should lean all the way into being a Puerto Rican/Latino diner. A lot of people struggle with beans, but theirs were so good I almost finished them before touching the pork. Super happy with that choice. I'll definitely be back!

We were craving brunch on a Saturday morning so decided to check out this place as it seemed to have a decent brunch menu The decor was modern and they easily accommodated a high chair for our baby. The coffee drinks we ordered were sugary and tasty. We ordered the salmon Benedict and the smashburger. The salmon was a bit dry but the flavor was good. The smashburger was outstanding; the patties were moist and the buns were nicely toasted and buttered. The fries were also really good, thin crispy and perfectly salted. Servers were really friendly, would definitely come back again for the burger!

Checked out BCCN for brunch and really enjoyed it! The sandwich was delicious and the side salad had a good mix of vegetables which is different from most side salads I've had. I tried the tiramisu latte which pretty good too and a fun twist from a regular latte. I found it to be a bit pricey for what you get and the interior ambiance could use a bit of homeyness. I'd go back though and try out some other menu items!

    Ricotta toast

This place was very cute. I'm a stickler about avocado toast, and this was one of the best I've ever had out. My only complaint is that the menu says there's prosciutto on the toast and there was not. The ricotta toast was also pretty good, but I probably wouldn't order it again. It was basically just fluffy eggs. The service is a little slow but nothing that would hinder me from coming back. Everyone was very nice.

My husband had the chicken and waffles. He said it was amazing. I had the burrata avocado toast and it was fabulous. The latte I got was very pretty, but not very strong. We also got a side if Rosemary toast, which was good. Feels a little pricey for what you're getting, but that's common for Winter Park. Waitress was lovely. Cute decor, but the place was nearly empty.

The decor speaks for itself, this place is absolutely decked out to the high heavens for Christmas and definitely worth a reservation and stop in ! but... be SURE to make a reservation because you may not be able to get in if you don't (best do it a couple days in advance if you can!) Rudolph's Replacement: 10/10 for cuteness (got it for the TRex cup) BUT this drink tasted like chocolate grass. if that's ur vibe, you'll love it. Christmapolitan: Not the cutest, average for looks just in a normal cute little glass, but guess what.... it was thebest drink we had!! 10/10 for flavor, loves it. Dancing Sugarplumb: Again not the cutest it's basic, BUT THE FLAVOR 9/10 The Krampus: the cup is killer. love it. drinks like a sippy cup, but for a Christmas demon. there is mezcal in this it's definitely on the smokier side, but even the mezcal haters at the table love it. 8/10 flavor if you like a little smoky and a tad bit of heat. All we had to eat was the pretzels with pimento - i was skeptical but wow, super good! All in all, would definitely recommend, you just have to plan to come here in advance and get that reservation!

Definitely make a reservation ahead because these themed pop ups that The Courtesy does book up quickly and you don't wanna miss out on it! Can't wait for the Christmas Holiday ones! Our first round of drinks were amazing and perfect choices of cup design or garnish. The only downside was when we ordered one drink there was confusing on whether it was up to the allergy request we had but it was fixed shortly after but I feel as if the server should have been more educated on it since it could have been avoided. Other than that the drinks were perfect, which my favorite was the Scream cocktail which came in its iconic Ghostface cup and went along with my outfit and Scream mask and knife I brought along with me. After another round of drinks we got their Trick or Treat shots which were definitely interesting and live up to their names for both shots! Definitely fit the vibe with the music, atmosphere and decorations around the bar which made an awesome spot for Halloween themed drinks to enjoy for the season!

As soon as I arrived, the staff acknowledged it was my birthday and the manager came over to grab my cake and put it in the fridge and we were immediately sat. I started out with a Cloudstar martini which was incredible and I ordered the famous focaccia rolls for the table. They are so flavorful with the Tasmanian sea salt and they are so doughy and soft. Truly unlike any bread service I have ever had. For my entree, I ordered the Bronzed Florida Grouper with the saffron risotto but I also had a few bites of the Chapman Meatballs and Salmon. Everything I tried was absolutely incredible. The menu is packed with flavor and has something for everyone, which I really can appreciate. For dessert, even though I had brought in a cake for the table, our server Maddie, informed me that she will be bringing out a no bake cheesecake. The cheesecake was fantastic and I loved the berry jam on the side. Maddie brought out side plates and a knife for us to cut the cake and even assembled my candles and lit them. We were dining outside, closest to the patio, and at one point the rain started to pick up. The manager immediately came over and said that they had a table inside available if we wanted to move inside. Since we all were staying dry we opted to stay outside and a few moments later the rain stopped. As someone who has worked in the service industry the pre-planning of this moment was incredible. Throughout the entire evening, Maddie was consistently clearing plates, filling water, and checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Maddie was attentive and such a delight. The restaurant even gave me a happy birthday card from the whole team with handwritten signatures and well wishes. This was incredibly special and such an intimate gesture that really goes the extra mile. The service that we received this night was exemplary and I truly owe it all to our server, Maddie. In fact, I have never experienced this before when dining for my birthday. Thank you, Maddie, and to The Chapman team for making my 27th so special. I will definitely be dining here again and will recommend this restaurant to everyone I know!

The vibe here is dark, intimate, and gives off a chic city nightlife feel. They offer both a full cocktail menu and a happy hour menu. They also offer a Thai tapas menu, which we unfortunately didn't get to try because we were already stuffed from dinner at Talay, but the menu looked amazing and gives us another reason to come back! The drinks are unique, creative, and very well crafted. We ordered the Celestial Bloom, and it was absolutely delicious! I could see lots of people bringing dates here. First up, I tried a $17 Tree of Life. The drink the bartender made me was maybe 2 sips. There's a giant ice cube and a bamboo leaf or something and very little drink to drink. Not sure what to make of this because as soon as I was deciding if I liked it or not, it was gone. Wouldn't order this again. Second, I tried a $17 Adam & Eve. I wish the matcha was much stronger. There's a place in Tampa called Tori Bar that has a super duper matcha tasting cocktail. This one was much lighter. It was fine, not my favorite. Maybe I'd bring a date here sometime, but wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
