The number of hexagons in the cute decor caught my eye! We happily ordered beverages (a ginger ginseng tea for me and a Chai tea latte for the mister). We also ordered the bruleed oatmeal and the scrambled egg platter. Everything was very, very tasty. In fact, the oatmeal is now my new favorite!! The extra attention given to plating and the customer service put our dining experience over the top. We will definitely return! It was so good, the nutty and sweet taste was great. My All American breakfast was everything I truly wanted, especially those delicious French toast. I'm a sucker for really good French toast. My partner had a cappuccino and loved it as well, and said his Omelette Don Pablo was very good. He kept raving the whole trip about how good the breakfast was here. I've had coffee from her but this time I decided to order food. The presentation was beautiful but I think the two main components of the chicken and waffles are premade. The meal wasn't bad but it's obvious they aren't pouring batter into a waffle iron and they aren't seasoning and breading fried chicken. Also the waffle was very sweet. It was one of those sugar coated pearl waffles. So adding syrup just made it extra sweet. Unfortunately I didn't notice the sugar on the waffle until after I added the syrup. Overall the food was ok. There is a Pilates spot near Cafe Don Juan, so when I got out of Pilates I instantly noticed this coffee spot. The inside is nice and clean, and beautiful. I really like the design and could see myself working from this coffee spot! The service was also great as well. I decided to go with a Chai Latte and I also got this fruit and yogurt snack. While the fruit and yogurt snack wasn't something that wowed me, the Chai Latte on the other hand was amazing! I've had quite a number of Chai Lattes at different coffee shops, but the one at Cafe Don Juan was so so so good! It wasn't too sweet or bland, it had the right amount of spices. Excellent Puerto Rican cafe with truly delicious coffee. Excellent service and the atmosphere is fantastic. The bread reminded me of the place I went to near Yabucoa, PR. A spot that opens from midnight to 6:00am and draws crowds every night. The Cortado was so delicious, I had to buy another one to go. I will be sure to take some of the coffee home. The cafe is beautifully decorated and has a very nice outdoor patio, and they love dogs so you can bring your pup with you to the patio only though. A great place for a visit when you're in the area. The food took a little while but it was so worth it! I only drink decaf and I ordered the tiramisu iced latte and it was amazing. I gotta admit, we went to this spot because of the food pics and the name, but walking in my expectations went down. The atmosphere is definitely pretentious for a place called Cafe Don Juan. It has very modern decor, not very friendly staff, and fairly high prices. But, with all that said, the food and drinks were fabulous! The sandwiches were huge, and the latte did taste like coffee. I got the Don Felipe, the pan sobao was perfectly toasted, the beef was very soft, and the chips seemed to be taro chips, warm and freshly made. My friend got the burger, which was cooked as she requested, and came with sweet mallorca bread that wasn't too sweet, plus it had delicious fries made with truffle oil. On Friday mornings, I coffee shop and this was on the list! It is a quick service establishment where you order first and sit after. The person working the counter had some great recommendations. Ordered a pan sobao and the chicken and waffles and of course couple of coffees. The food was tasty and the coffee was rich and very flavorful. The food portions are a decent size and I'd say shareable. There is a decent amount of places to sit and it's bright inside with very modern decor. I will say it took a moment to find the place but once found, I was delighted to see there was a parking lot. The staff was so great and when they picked up our plates, they asked how everything was. We just walked into the Winter Park location on Sunday at 3:30. We were excited to try it but the young man behind the counter told us we would only have 20 minutes to eat. It would take at least 10 minutes to make our order and then they were going to start closing. I asked if we would have to leave, if they wouldn't let us eat. I found this place randomly because I was in the area. It's such a cute and welcoming cafe. It has a minimal style with honeycomb patterns throughout. Really like the decor, hanging plants, and openness of the layout. There's also an outdoor seating area which faces the street so it could be a lil' noisy. Today was our second visit here and I couldn't remember if I had liked it the first time, which might have been an indication of how it would go. The place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. I appreciated that they had Cholula bottles and salt/pepper shakers available to take with you to your table. I had the scrambled eggs (without the ham), the tiramisu latte (limited item), and some of the pan sobao with butter. The scrambled eggs were completely unseasoned, which was disappointing. The tiramisu latte was really good! It tasted very much like real tiramisu. The pan sobao was also tasty but my wife felt meh about it. Quite possibly the best cup of coffee I've ever had! Cafe Don Juan is easy not to notice, but definitely worth searching out! I work nearby and stop in here for pastry's and coffee quite often. Most recently I had their Almond Mocha Coffee and it may be the best coffee I've ever had! I also ordered the Nutella and cheese pastries which were both a huge hit with the coworkers. The chicken bacon empanadas were also delicious. I also ordered the Felipe steak and mushroom sandwich which was huge and full of flavor. The chips were also really good. I opted for a dirty chai and I can say this was the best chai I've ever had, I substituted the milk with almond milk! I got a strawberry Nutella croissant, which was delicious; the actual croissant was light and fluffy so it didn't feel to dry when eating! For my entree, I did the pan sobao with avocado, egg, bacon, onion, and mayo and it was 10/10; the onion flavor is strong, but it pairs soooo well (also they added a cute little heart to the sandwich to hold it together) Really loved Don Juan, so many different options from sandwiches to more traditional sandwiches! I stopped by the Puerto Rican based cafe on Monday, December 26, 2022. Upon entering the location, I was greeted by a friendly cashier and a gentleman who was either the manager or owner of the establishment. Normally, I would always purchase an iced coffee beverage to start off my day but, being the temperature was around 50 degrees, I decided on their Hot Macchiato. As to a food items, I was torn as to whether I would select a sweet pastry or a savory breakfast item so I split the baby and opted for their Carrot Bread. The Macchiato came out perfectly as I wanted a beverage a little stronger than a cappuccino but, less harsh than a full espresso. As to the Carrot Bread, I would probably not order the item again as it was not as moist as I would have liked and a bit on the dry side. On future outings, I would definitely try more of their standard breakfast options and their sandwiches. The interior of the cafe itself has good natural lighting and a modern aesthetic. I could see spending time on a weekend at either the indoor or outdoor seating areas and enjoying a leisurely meal with family or friends or coming in a weekday morning to grab a quick bite. read more

During that time, they were steady. The inside has a clean modern design. There are tables, and a small corner booth. Menu's are located at the register. I always like a place that has a smaller menu that allows them to focus on making a few things well and doesnt' try to over achieve on a lot of things. The pumpkin pancakes were delicious.
