I previously tried their honey nut cheerio latte after hearing rave reviews online, and sadly it was somewhat underwhelming. The pumpkin spice tasted like I was drinking burnt fall spices, and my husband's latte tasted like water. I unfortunately will not be back unless they change their coffee beans and maybe clean their machines if that's what was causing the lack of any good flavor. I am giving three stars since the staff was nice and a latte I've had in the past was "fine".

They provided their recommendations and got our food and drinks out within a few minutes! I ordered the "Tipsy Dragon"- a fall seasonal special with smoked cold foam and candied pecans. I came in with a friend and we did just that over lovely coffee and tasty pastries. We were warmly greeted by the staff, who patiently answered the few menu questions we had. The coffee offerings are fairly standard, but the syrups are made in-house and include some lovely and unique flavors. I was a big fan of the pumpkin sage syrup. I personally loved that it tasted distinctly of pumpkin without being sickly sweet--the perfect addition to my iced latte. We also knew we wanted a pastry, and the offerings were all tempting! The cardamom bun was a top contender and will definitely be part of my imminent return, but we ultimately landed on the banana bread. It was so generously sized that we shared it! Like the flavored coffee, the banana bread was sweet without being sickly so. The sugar was understated, which I really appreciated, while the cake itself was still moist and distinctly banana-forward. I'm looking forward to trying the waffles or maybe even a sandwich on my next visit (in addition to that cardamom bun, of course!). The other patrons had a variety of the dishes mentioned above, and everything looked delicious and generously sized. One other detail I really appreciated: gratuity is already built into the prices, so there's no additional tipping expected or requested. I thought that was a really nice touch and made the whole experience feel especially straightforward and relaxed. I asked what the wait time was for a sandwich because I had an appointment to get to. I was informed that they were not making breakfast sandwiches. I was confused because it's one thing to be out of ingredients, but to be "too busy" to serve one type of sandwich but not the other doesn't make much sense. I ended up ordering a coffee and then I went to Starbucks for food. The coffee took a little while to come out. They had two staff members working behind the counter.
