Lychee Delight
Shelby A.

Stopped in quick for a refreshing beverage and opted for the lychee delight as it is sweet but not overpowering. There is no added sugar and the jasmine green tea which is bitter paired great with the natural sweetness of lychee. Service is very quick and there is indoor and outdoor seating here.

The Cacao Milk tea is absolutely delectable with lactose free whole milk and earl grey tea. The owner greeted us with a smile and lovely demeanor. The restaurant is impeccably clean and well laid out. Such an adorable shop! I highly recommend this beautiful shop.

Service was great and I believe the owner helped us out! She was very friendly and kind and knowledgeable of her menu. The tea was AMAZING and fresh! The shop was clean and adorable and had plenty of seating options. Will be back next time I am in winter park!

Pink Matcha with brown sugar boba
Madison L.

Bonsai is truly one of my favorite boba shops. I came with some co-workers and we had a decent experience. We got the pink matcha with brown sugar boba. The drink was gorgeous and the boba was perfectly cooked. The store was as cute as ever. I do have some constructive criticism for the service however. The store was in a rush and they only had one person working. Eventually, a second person appeared, but it was slow going. I appreciate that these detailed drinks take time to make, but the speed was a bit causal and they really should have had more people working the bar mid day. I acknowledge that maybe it was uncharacteristically busy. They forgot one of our drinks that we paid for and that increased our wait. We were happy with the boba and I do love this place, but perhaps there are some staffing kinks to be worked out. I'm excited for my next visit and hope they can smooth out the flow a bit.

Situated on park Ave this place has one of the best boba and tea drinks in town. Street parking, excellent service, and cute ambiance. They let you taste test

I love this shop! I'm not big on fruit tea but they have great variety with fun flavors here. What I'm most excited about this shop is that they sell my favorite Copenhagen sparkling tea by the bottle! All 3 flavors: jasmine tea, sencha, silver needles. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The space is nice and cozy, a bit small so don't plan to hang out here for long, since I think it's meant to be more of a grab and go kind of tea place. Needless to say I'll be back for more fruit tea and more sparkling tea!

I'm new to this part of town and was happy to see a bubble tea spot! I stopped in and grabbed a milk tea with boba pearls. The guy was super nice and we chatted for a bit. He let me sample my tea to make sure it was sweet enough. It's a cute little spot. The desserts looked pretty ok I. The case. Next time I stop in I'll be sure to try them!

I was surprised to bump into a Boba place after lunch with a friend nearby. There is a variety of Boba, and the staff are very friendly. They recommended my drink (I forgot which fruit tea it was, I believe it was the Bonsai tea). It was quite delicious and different from what I ordered. Compared to other places Bonsai tea has unique options, but it is not as customizable as other places.

I found out about the shop a bit ago while driving through Park Ave and decided to add it to my places to try. I like and enjoy tea, so I was looking forward to what I was going to try. The store is nice, clean and has a bit of outside and inside seating. It is modern and has a large counter where you order and a case with different pastries/desserts. I was full to try them out but a couple did look good. The staff is nice, attentive and more than happy to answer any questions. I was between 2 of their hot teas and glad I went ny their suggestion. The part I really liked was that they actually steep the tea and let you pour it out of the pot. Isn't that neat? I got the hot China Rose Petal and it was nice and floral. The staff was nice to let me try the Sparkling tea because I was curious and that was tasty and refreshing! I will definitely try it next time and it was not overly sweet. I liked that it is bubbly for a hot day. Definitely give them a try for regular tea, dessert or for boba!

They definitely know how to create a romantic mood and atmosphere. We got the "Easter special" which I would skip I think. Best part was the meringue raspberry cookie but everything was just fine. Also seemed much more themed to Valentine's Day than Easter. Now the "Fourgasm" sampler is great. You start off with a cheesecake, then get to a caramelized carrot cake, followed by some kind of chocolate cake/pie and finish it off with a red velvet cake. The desserts get better and better as you eat them (if you start off with the cheesecake which they recommend) I also got the "Sex-spresso Martini" and that was delicious too. But I've never met an espresso martini I didn't like. One of my favorite parts is giggling at the ridiculousness of the names and descriptions of each item. You can tell they really had fun writing them.

The red lighting is the right vibe for the sexual theme. We tried a variety of drinks and desserts. Everyone enjoyed the drinks and desserts. The options are somewhat limiting for me because of some of the ingredients in the desserts. I am not a fan of nuts in my dessert.

I've seen them all over social media and definitely wanted to give them a try. If I wasn't so full from blaze, I would've got some of their cream puffs they looked absolutely amazing. I did decided to get a cookies and cream latte, which I feel like their pricing isn't bad, especially for the quality. My drink was good, the coffee was smooth and the cold foam on top with the cookies really was a nice touch. I'll definitely be back to try one of their cream puffs and or other cute pastries.

Bright, clean, and dialed in with pastries that actually look as good as they photograph. You walk in thinking you'll make a quick, responsible choice. Two minutes later you're staring at the case like you're drafting a fantasy team. We went with the cream puff and that was the right move. Light, airy, not overly sweet, and gone in about three bites flat. No notes. Tried the crème brûlée pastry too. Points for creativity all day. It's a cool concept and well executed, just didn't hit the same level as the cream puff. Still good, just not the headliner. And the iced tea deserves a mention. Strong. Like, actually strong. Not the watered-down afterthought you get at most spots. This one shows up with purpose. Overall, easy four stars. Fun stop, great vibe, and a menu that keeps things interesting without trying too hard. Just don't kid yourself into thinking you're only ordering one thing. That plan falls apart immediately.
