    Ube and s'mores cream puffs
    Julia M.

The service at this location was great! I ordered two cream puffs, a croissant and a coffee. I expected my coffee to take a little while to make, but it was pretty much ready by the time I was done paying. I ordered a tiramisu float, and the coffee was smooth and the topping was thick and delicious. The croissant had spinach and feta in it. The actual croissant was flaky with a hint of sweetness. The filling was a bit disappointing, as there wasn't much of it. As per usual, the cream puffs were light and not too sweet. I was a little disappointed though because they didn't have the cookies and cream one. Overall, they have great pastries and coffee. Their packaging is also high-quality and adorable!

A great spot if you enjoy desserts that aren't too sweet. Coffee and tea is always great. On this visit, we got the Blueberry Lemon Bao and Dark Chocolate Pistachio tart. The blueberry lemon bao was just the right mix of sweet, tart, and buttery. The dark chocolate pistachio tart wasn't sweet enough for me, but my husband loved it. Both were $8-9. Just a warning that the logos on top aren't edible!

    Vanilla Crepe Cake

We ordered the vanilla crepe cake for our courthouse wedding, and it turned out to be one of the unexpected highlights of the night. The cake was absolutely delicious -- light, delicate, and not overly sweet, with just the right balance of cream and crepe layers that practically melted in your mouth. What really blew me away was how memorable it was for everyone else. Every single person who had a slice that evening called or texted the next day asking where we got it from. That's how you know it's something special. If you're looking for a wedding cake (or honestly, any celebration cake) that's elegant, understated, and guaranteed to impress, this vanilla crepe cake is it. Highly recommend -- it made our small courthouse wedding feel a little more magical. Thank you LOTS team for making our day!

A charming coffee shop with a cute, cozy interior and genuinely welcoming service. The croissants are the standout, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. The coffee is decent, though slightly over-roasted. A lovely spot overall, especially for pastries.

I put an order in. The ladies were very helpful. My order was ready ahead of time. Pick up was quick and easy. They're very polite. Their pastry case was beautiful. The shop is small with limited seating.

I frequent this cafe for a long time for the baked goods. The baked goods are sweet, but not overly sugary. It satisfies your sweet tooth without the side effects of ingesting a lot of sugar. The coffee drinks are high quality with some creative options. The location is small. There is some seating but it is very limited. The servers are always very nice and efficient. Give this place a try for high quality drinks and treats!

Really enjoyed my stop here. The service was great. The cream puffs were delicious and fresh. Smelled sweet inside this little shop and they had a good variety of items. I really loved my cream puffs, and I'm sure you would too

Perfect cream puffs and crepe cakes! If they had boba for the teas this would be a perfect dessert/snack location! It's a tiny storefront but serviceable and the decor is modern! The staff was helpful but there's no rush here...so come when you have a moment to enjoy and put up with a little wait.

We came by to stop in for a quick treat and just happened to visit on their anniversary!! We didn't get any of the special rewards for early customers but what we had was still delicious.

One of my favorite bakeries with the best cream puffs and crepe cakes. I love their ube flavored baked goods! Their drinks are great too, truly light on the sugar. Service is great and ambiance is clean.

This was such a cute little bakery! We got the cookies and cream puff, the pistachio dark chocolate tart, crème brûlée cream puff, a snoopy seasonal cookie, an egg tart, and a strawberry matcha panna cotta. We also got a matcha latte, a berry rose latte & a pumpkin pie latte. The lady working behind the counter was so sweet & had a smile the entire time, even though the place was packed and a bit overwhelming. Everything was delicious and presented beautifully, I can't want to go back and try more things.

Love the selection of desserts and drinks they offer here. I usually get their fruit tea and a macaron. Some of the desserts can be hit or miss for me on flavor. The presentation is always spot on though and they are also change out seasonally so there is something for anyone's taste and I always find something I like. Some of my favorites are the sakura macaron and the fruity pebble cream puff.

I will return to Light on the Sugar time and time again as their treats always rotate and every one is not only beautiful but also delicious. I have never ordered anything here that I did not absolutely love. My Favorites will always include the jasmine grapefruit tea which is always perfectly blended and so refreshing in the Florida hot sun and the earl grey tea crème puff. The staff here are always smiling and happy and quick! There is never a long wait once you get that order in. There is limited seating inside and a few tables outside if you want to enjoy them there but I usually take them home to enjoy. They sit well in the fridge but they are so good they never last more than 24 hours in there as we have eaten them all in my house! I will always come back to see what's new on the menu and look for my old favorites.

Ask the Community - Light on the Sugar

How does a bakery not open until 11am? There have been probably 30 occasions where I've wanted to go but they weren't open. Including right now.

A lot of bakeries have staff that come in early to bake before open. That's just their hours of operation.

Does Light on the Sugar happen to have any gluten-free options ? The macaroons maybe?

They change their menu items pretty often but for the most part they offer gluten pastries goods. They did have a flan when I was there but it had a crust which you could possibly eat around

Is this place good for studying?

    Aesthetically yes, functionally no

Why is this marked for delivery when they do not offer delivery?

I believe they are on uber eats

    Is this place permanently closed?

    No they are open

We arrived just after the lunch rush, which gave me time to really study the menu board... and wow, there were so many tempting options. I went with the Wobble savory crepe, loaded with turkey, chicken, mushrooms, onions, spinach, and tomato. They recommended the Cajun remoulade, but I swapped it for blue cheese--and let me tell you, that was an excellent call. An absolute home run. One of the things I really appreciated was being able to watch the crepes made from start to finish. Everything looked fresh, and they were more than happy to customize ingredients along the way--no hassle at all. The staff was pleasant and friendly, the dining area was spotless, and since the weather was perfect, we chose to eat on the patio, which made the experience even better. My only complaint? They don't have a location in Oklahoma! We do have a crepe spot back home, but I've never tried their savory crepes. After this visit, I'm inspired to give it another shot--though The Crepevine set the bar pretty high. Fantastic lunch, great atmosphere, and well worth the stop. I'd happily return on my next Florida visit.

The crepes themselves are made fresh and arrive genuinely warm, which is half the battle. I ordered the buffalo chicken crepe and appreciated the good kick it had. The fillings were competent but unremarkable, nothing that made me think "I need to come back for that specific crepe." The chicken had a tendency to slide toward the bottom as I ate, which was a bit of a nuisance especially when your first 2-3 bites are all lettuce and tomato If you're looking for something easy and quick to grab for lunch, The Crepevine delivers. It's the kind of place where the experience is enjoyable partly because of what it is rather than it being exceptional at what it does. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a good spot to pop in with friends or grab something on your way. If I'm in the area and want something a little different from the usual lunch routine, I'd happily return.

When we arrived it was around 11:40ish and the wait time was 1 hour! Yes we waited. I was starving. We got called around the 40 minute mark. Taken to our table and waited and waited and waited -- probably 20ish minutes later we got our order taken! Drinks came out and the ice was already lacking, you could tell it was melted. They were out of the butterfly tea. The regular iced tea I ordered unsweetened with a bit of sweet was bitter and very dark in color. Bleh. For food I ordered the Honey You Must Try This which is fried chicken, spinach, tomato, crispy onion straws, house made cream cheese and honey mustard on top. The crepe itself was good but there was nothing that set this place apart for me! It did need more dressing and I think they forgot my cream cheese because I didn't see or taste it. Took awhile for the food to come out. Overall we were there a little over 2 hours! Crazy! The place is crazy busy and I'm not sure if it's a staffing issue or what but some improvements are needed. They need more shade in the front areas where they have benches and such for guests to wait. It's FL and the heat is no joke! The AC inside doesn't feel cold because so many people are inside and it's an old house. Staff and service is lacking. Not once did we get checked on during our time here. Actually if we needed something we had to get up and find someone or wait until they came to another table and flag them down. Decor is great and cute.

This spot has always held great memories for all of us, whether together or separately, and we were hoping it would still feel the same. It absolutely did. Since it was a Monday night, it was nicely relaxed--not too crowded--and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. We grabbed a table right by the bar in the open-air section, and everything about it was just perfect. The weather cooperated (low humidity for the win!), and the setting felt like a little tropical escape. Between the pergola, Bimini-style covers, and all the lush greenery, it honestly felt like dining in a beautiful garden. Our server was fantastic--patient, attentive, and genuinely kind--even as we got caught up in nonstop conversation and took our time ordering. Never once felt rushed, which made the night even more enjoyable. When we finally ordered, the food did not disappoint. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There are so many great options on the menu that everyone at the table left happy (and already talking about what to try next time). It's rare to find a place that delivers consistently on atmosphere, service, and food--but this one still does. So glad we chose it for such a meaningful night. We'll definitely be back.

The food is consistently excellent, the desserts are beautiful and delicious, and the balance of savory and sweet is one of the things they do best. From the patisserie case to the fully loaded crepes, our family has yet to be disappointed. That is saying something, because usually someone has a critique somewhere. Here, there truly is something for everyone, and we all leave happy. The portions are generous, which we appreciate. We almost always bring leftovers home, and that just means we get to enjoy it all over again later. The service is consistently friendly and helpful. The staff brings a youthful, upbeat energy that adds to the atmosphere. Each visit feels like stepping into a European-style patisserie, and that charm has kept us coming back year after year. With that said, I do want to share one small concern. They close at 3:00 p.m. We are big brunch people, but our schedule often leans toward late morning or early afternoon rather than first thing when they open. I understand there are likely good reasons for their hours, and I know many early birds benefit from them. Still, it can be disappointing. On three separate occasions, we have driven over looking forward to our favorites, only to find the doors already locked. We were not alone. On the most recent visit, three other cars pulled in and had to turn around as well. Even with that frustration, our overall experience with Cinnamon Tree remains overwhelmingly positive. It is a place we genuinely love and will continue to support, just hopefully a little earlier in the day next time.
