This is such a cool coffee concept in the SoDo District! We went on a Saturday morning and they were BUSY with what appeared to be lots of regulars which I love to see. The duo working (I'm assuming the owners) were slinging the drinks and taking orders. They were super nice and patient with every customer. They have a pretty robust menu with lots of unique coffee & tea options. It felt like It was in an apothecary where they make magical elixirs and concoctions. It was so hard to choose because everything sounded so good. I wanted something spritzy and refreshing, so I went with the cactus juice (ginger beer with prickly pear cactus syrup, cherry & lemon), as well as the cookie butter cappuccino -- AMAZING! The shop itself is located at the Harris Garden Center, so the outside seating is basically a plant oasis and there's also a BBQ food truck parked outside serving food. Another place I'm just not getting the hype for I guess. $20+ for 2 basic drinks and a tiny flavorless cookie? I get supporting small local businesses, but at those prices your product needs to actually taste good. I do like that they don't serve dairy milk but wish they had more options than just almond and oat. read more

I'm a huge fan of coffees with cayenne pepper. I live in Tampa but was in Orlando for the weekend and woke up with the caffeine monkey on my back the day I was leaving to head back home. I got online and looked up places and saw this place had some unique options with cayenne and cacao. I drove 40 minutes off route to get the worst tasting coffee I've ever had. I gave the place 3 stars still because my friend ordered a specialty biscoff coffee and that was pretty good. And all of the staff were super sweet. I'm sure had i taken a sip before I left, they would've been able to make me something else. read more

Cute place but tiny! Almost missed it when driving past. It was poppin right when it opened. Limited parking. Inside is cute only 2 spots to sit so not really a place to sit sip and work. I love that this place is close to my house and it's in a garden (well, garden center, but still)! The ambience is relaxing and magical! I love supporting local small businesses so I had to check it out! I got the Pumpkin King and it was delicious! Service was friendly! I participated in the Coffee crawl and was around the area so my sister and I decided to put Lucid Beans in our GPS and check them out. It was located in the SODO area, right in a little plaza that had a BBQ truck, and a plant nursery. We went inside and were instantly greeted, in which we explained it was our first time. I had decided on the White Lotus which was a toasted vanilla chai espresso with a sweet cold foam and wowwww!! I love a good chai, but it was perfectly fall and like a warm hug! My sister ordered the Mirkwood Matcha which was a purple sweet potato & brown sugar spiced matcha and it was also a banger! I definitely enjoyed our drinks, and can't wait to try more on the menu. My favorite coffee spot in SoDo, hands down! They make specialty coffees which I would call craft coffees (they are just THAT good) but they also can do regular stuff like a latte, cappuccino, etc. They use quality beans from a great roaster too. Long story short, they are nice and they make great coffee!! Ohh and they have caffeine free options too!! I'm always looking for places with unique drinks, particularly tea as I'm not a big coffee drinker, and not that into Boba. I finally stopped by with the dog in tow and could not have been happier. The service was amazing. They were super welcoming to me and my dog, even giving her a couple of treats. I got a butterfly pea flower tea latte and it was heavenly. By far my favorite coffee shop in Orlando and we even buy their whole beans to make at home. The quality is exceptional in every way. Every drink is made with love and their service is so kind and sweet. I was following them around while they did pop ups and now that they have a set location I can visit all the time! Was a little tricky to find with maps, but they're In a local garden center, literally on the corner of Michigan and Shine, that has such a peaceful vibe There are also some shaded seating areas outside, amongst the plants and flowers. If you remember seeing them at events or in a food truck, they have this permanent location now. This was an absolutely delicious experience and as much as I wanted to try everything on the menu, the Totoro Martini was iconic as my first drink and the foam texture was everything. The Kaguya's Sakura Moon Milk, was also delicious, according to my friend who ordered it. They have the cutest souvenir glasses where you'll get a discount everytime you bring them back and get another drink too! Friendly and kind service.
