Yuzo soda matcha
Cordelia R.

Really enjoyed stopping by to have a beverage pick me up while we were in the area, visiting from out of state. It's an old industrial building but they've made the inside extremely inviting. It was packed when we got there, could absolutely use more seating even though there were many tables and chairs set up. I get while people linger because it has such great vibes inside. My drink was delicious, yuzu soda and matcha was so refreshing and delicious. Baristas were so nice as well

Currently a top contender for matcha - this is located where The Heavy used to be and it's such a cute vibe with all of the plants and handmade items for sale. The matcha was delicious! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating (I had to make a slight modification to my drink) and I definitely recommend trying them out!

Black Phin is definitely a vibe, not my vibe but a vibe. It's located in like a warehouse. Soon as you walk in there are plants and plenty of seating. It seemed very cluttered for my liking. I got an iced Vietnamese coffee with milk and ube foam on top. It was SO delicious and very strong! I was tweaking for the rest of the day after that coffee. I also got the beef sandwich, it was good! They're games available that you can play. My friend and I played Mancala, it was so fun! I'll definitely be back for a coffee in The future!

This spot is such a gem! Their coffee is incredible, and they have some of the best Matcha in Orlando -just look how green it is! The interior is also gorgeous - while you wait for your coffee you can peruse a selection of beautiful ceramic planters and plants for sale. The share space with a gym but you would honestly never know. You can enjoy your drink in their cozy and quiet seating area, or it's also less than five minutes from Mead botanical garden if you prefer to pick up your coffee and go on a beautiful walk.

A decent amount of parking outside and really pretty inside with the plants and decor. Plenty of seating and the coffee was great. The plants and pottery were for sale. The staff was friendly. I'd definitely return!

Iced Vietnamese Ca Phe with Ube cold foam

Not my first time drinking Black Phin but it was my first time going to the new space but not my first time in that space, as I had been here many times when it was The Heavy. Either way, it was soooooooo great! First, love that there is parking available near the building. It looks like a warehouse but when you walk in, you are transported to a cozy space full of natural light, plants and amazing merchandise. Yes, I purchased a trinket tray and wanted to buy 100 more things! There are tables throughout to sit and it looks like a place you could work remotely from. I didn't check if they had wifi but I'm assuming they did with the amount of people on laptops when we stopped in. I ordered a Iced Ca Phe with Ube Cold foam and OMG I loved it so much! It was sooooo delicious. Although I did not order food, one of the people we were with did and it looked and smelled so good that it's definitely on my to-do list for the next time I go there. And believe me, there will absolutely be a next time!

Great newish Vietnamese coffee spot located in the old "Heavy" plant store! They have a nice area for sitting and studying, which makes it a great place to hang out for a bit. There's a solid selection of coffees along with a seasonal menu. I tried the cherry bourbon latte, it was good and not overly sweet. It wasn't super strong on flavor, but that worked well for me since I don't like drinks that are too sweet. They also offer a few small bite options, and the staff was very nice. I'd definitely come back here!

Black Phin is situated in the most amazing co-op space that's shared with a place that sells plants, so it's like you're walking into a lush garden. The man behind the counter was extremely friendly and, since I had never been there before, spent the time explaining the difference in all the types of Vietnamese coffee. He offered recommendations as well. In the end I chose an iced coffee with Ube cold foam. It was absolutely delicious! The coffee was extra strong which I loved! The Ube added the perfect sweetness and actually had a strong Ube flavor. I loved everything about my experience here and especially loved the coffee so I will definitely be back!

Black Phin Coffee is such a hidden gem if you're looking for a cozy Vietnamese café with personality. The moment you walk in, the space feels warm and inviting -- lots of greenery, cute décor pieces, and little souvenir items displayed throughout the shop that give it a unique cultural touch. The aesthetic is thoughtfully done without feeling over-the-top, making it both relaxing and visually appealing. There's plenty of seating, so it's easy to settle in whether you're studying solo, catching up with friends, or just enjoying a slow coffee break. One of my favorite parts was their Vietnamese iced coffee. It's strong and flavorful like a traditional phin brew, but the specialty foam they add on top gives it a creamy, slightly sweet finish that makes each sip feel elevated. You can tell they put effort into both presentation and taste. The menu also offers a nice variety if you're in the mood to explore beyond the classics. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive vibe. Even when it gets a little busy, the atmosphere still feels calm enough to focus -- definitely a great study spot or casual hangout. And if you love aesthetic cafés, there are so many Instagram-worthy corners with natural light, plants, and cute details that make the space feel lively yet cozy. Overall, Black Phin Coffee is a place I'd keep coming back to -- great drinks, a spacious environment, and the perfect mix of chill vibes and stylish décor.

This cute little Vietnamese coffee shop is located in the old Lombardi's Seafood building in Winter Park. It has a small parking lot and ramp access. Once inside, it showcases lush plants, ample seating area, and wooden decor that reminiscent of a cafe in some tropical country. I love the cozy atmosphere with lots of displays and their brand merchandise and pottery. The staff wasn't overly friendly, more passive, but they did their job. The drink prices are comparable to other cafes in the area. We ordered their special iced Honey Osmanthus Oolong Tea and two Vietnamese coffees. One with egg foam and the other with pandan toppings. I enjoyed my Osmanthus tea. It had the perfect balance of honey and tea. It's also rare to find Osmanthus tea on the menu! As far as the Vietnamese coffee, we're not certain it's true drip-style traditional Vietnamese. I'm assuming it is because their name is Black Phin. "Phin" is the name of the small, stainless steel Vietnamese coffee filter. Most of the new coffee shops these days tend to put a spin on the drink by using the espresso machine process and milk powder or milk product variations other than the original condensed milk. It usually has only 2 ingredients, chicory coffee in a Phin and sweetened condensed milk over ice or hot. Lately, I've been disappointed in many of the places I've ordered this drink. That being said, it was average in taste compared to other coffee shops. Next time I'll try other drinks they have to offer as a comparison. As far as pastries, they had a very small selection. I felt it is more of a place for coffee drinks and meet ups. I would definitely come back because I love supporting small local cafes and want to support Asian businesses. It is absolutely a cozy space to meet friends or on a date. Besides, any place with plants always make me feel happy!

Decided to visit black Phin again and do some work while enjoying my caffeine fix today, and they didn't disappoint. I thoroughly enjoy their coffee and feel like it gives me more an energy boost than a standard American latte. Service was friendly and quick, I always enjoy the full representation here and is why I return. Vibes are chill and homey, nice space for solo work or even casual conversation and co-working. Check them out if you haven't already!

Love this concept. Great place, very spacious. I liked the Vietnamese iced coffee with egg cream, can't go wrong with that. Coconut matcha is also very refreshing, you can modify your sugar levels as well depending on how bitter you like it! They also have seasonal drinks. The service is usually great, they always recommend great drinks! Pricing is average. Plenty of parking space This place is also a cross fit center!

This Vietnamese coffee spot, located in a plant store, was such a fun surprise. I was in the area for some shopping and needed a little pick me up - and saw this place had great reviews! I didn't know it was Vietnamese coffee until I pulled in - which was a fun surprise. I am normally a hot coffee girly, but it was fun to try something new. I opted for one of their seasonal flavors - gingersnap! The flavor was a nice addition, without being too sweet or overpowering the other components of the drink.

We started with the crispy chicken dumplings--crispy on the outside with a juicy, tender chicken filling. Perfect way to kick things off. We continued with three items: Beef Stew (Bún Bò Kho), Orange Chicken, and Sautéed Cubed Beef "Shaking Beef" (Cơm Bò Lúc Lắc). The Beef Stew (Bún Bò Kho) was heaven on a dish. The beef stew was easily the standout--rich, flavorful, and the beef was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. The vermicelli noodles were just as impressive. Just reminiscing about it makes my mouth water. The "Shaking Beef" was served over white rice (highly recommend), and every bite was better than the last. The garlic butter sauce really takes it over the top. Don't be fooled by the Orange Chicken--Boneless chicken, fried perfectly and coated in their authentic sweet orange sauce. The best Orange Chicken in town, hands down. No chance of leftovers here--you won't want to put your fork down.

This place stays busy, especially during lunch and dinner hours, so expect a little wait during peak times. The dining room can get packed and lively, but that just adds to the energy. The pho is the main draw. When the broth is on point, it's rich, aromatic, and deeply comforting -- exactly what you want in a solid bowl of phở. The portions are generous, noodles are cooked well, and the fresh herbs and bean sprouts round everything out nicely. Their combination pho is a safe choice, and the vermicelli bowls and rice plates are great alternatives if you're not in a soup mood. That said, the broth can sometimes be a little inconsistent in flavor. Some visits it's bold and perfectly balanced; other times it may lean lighter and need a bit of extra lime or sauce to adjust to your taste. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's noticeable if you're a regular. Overall, Pho Huong Lan remains a dependable, comforting, and very popular Vietnamese staple.
