I'm only sad I waited so long to come in! I can in mid day ona Sunday and it was not busy. Immediately the atmosphere is calming and relaxed with ample sitting space for it being a smaller location. They have free WiFi too. I ordered a strawberry matcha that was delicious and a lemongrass chicken Bahn mi. The flavor on the Bahn mi was so savory and the size of the sandwich was appreciated. Service was 10/10 the staff there was welcoming
Great coffee all around. If you are looking for Vietnamese specialty then you are in business. Also, if you just want coffee, they got you! Good study place. Chris provided great service. Cheers!
Hanoi egg foam latte - first time having this and I really like how rich and creamy the foam is, and its paired well with the hot viet coffee; though I kind of wish the foam would be a bit sweeter. Their viet coffee is my favorite! Kyoto fog - a hojicha latte sweetened with vanilla syrup! I liked the hojicha that they used in this, and how its not overpowered by the vanilla!
Located in a shopping mall off, this is definitely an unassuming spot for this Vietnamese coffee shop. I ended up getting a hojicha because the matcha I wanted could not be made with non dairy milk. It was okay but definitely not my favorite. With so many other vegan options I don't know that I would return since it so far from my house. Not bad but not great.
For months I've seen this shop, but told myself I couldn't justify a lil treat just for grocery shopping. So excited I finally gave in! Walking in the shop is very clean and organized, a few customers hard at work studying at the tables. I was new to the idea of Viet-phin brewed coffee but the barista was very sweet explaining and suggested the seal salt iced coffee as her favorite, warning me that it is strong. Coffee was perfectly sweet, not too sweet, and strong enough to bring back my will to run errands as promised. I absolutely plan on coming back and trying a few others, although sticking with the sea salt iced coffee wouldn't be a bad idea either. The coffee itself is reason to return, but I'd say so is the service. I felt very welcomed and enjoyed some humorous chit chat. Great way to start the day.
Stumbled upon this place since I was in the area and was pleasantly surprised! They had a nice menu with unique items that I don't see in all cafes, such as the Cookie Matcha and Ube Vietnamese Coffee, which is what we ordered. Both drinks were delicious, especially the matcha. Not every cafe gets matcha right, but this place definitely does. Another thing that stood out is that their banh mi is fantastic, like one of the best in Orlando. The bread tasted very fresh and the flavor was perfect. After we took a bite, we instantly knew we were going to need to come back again! The atmosphere is also pleasant, a good place to study since it was quiet or perhaps to catch up with a friend.
We happened to be walking between the Dollar Store and Ace Hardware and noticed we have a new indie coffee store. It's modern and specializes in Vietnamese iced coffee, teas and milk teas. They also have a couple of light bites - Banh mi and Xio (sticky rice dish). We got the Xio (pronounced SheYo) and were surprised by how hearty a meal this was for $11. Don't let it's small size fool you. It's protein rich works yummy rice. -don't skip the sriracha which makes the dish - Overall, glad to have this spot in this plaza!
Tucked away gem! Vietnamese Boba spot perfect for a study day. The tea and coffees are perfect, no burnt taste and balanced. They have Banh Mi here too. They staff is friendly and easy going. Definitely going to be a regular spot for us.
A new favorite for me. I've been thinking about the iced phin with ube coconut cold foam for a week straight. The taste and service is consistent. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and will give suggestions on your flavor profile. The location is apart of a plaza so there is ample parking.
Came in to try their seasonal drinks. The ones I was interested in were the French toast latte and the taro birthday cake latte. I chose the taro birthday cake latte. It was very sweet. Tasted exactly like a birthday cake. We sat for a short bit for a few sips. It was too hot though and it was dead silent in there like a library. Didn't want to say a peep, so just left. If your looking for a quiet spot to work on your laptop, this is your place. Service in the front was very friendly with a smile. decor is very minimal and white. Not really eye catching.

I went there today & the staff is super friendly & welcoming! I got their iced matcha latte made with almond milk. I added sugar free vanilla & light honey. It was super good & I loved how vibrant the matcha was! Definitely want to come back here again to try more things. Also, it was so cute inside & had a nice vibe!
I'm always excited to discover Vietnamese owned coffee shops. The space is so cute! It has the outside no bells and whistles seating that's reminiscent of Vietnamese coffee shops. The interior is clean and contemporary in design. You also order your drinks and food at the bar counter. The baristas are very helpful and friendly. It was still in its soft launch so there wasn't any pastries yet. This place has the yummiest and strong Vietnamese iced coffees. I ordered one with Ube cream topping and a Salted and sweet one. I ordered the lemongrass chicken Viet sub and a specialty sticky rice item. Food items were okay. The baguette bread is more chewy in texture than the crispy French bread style. I loved the sticky rice but not sure about all the other toppings on it. Although it's not a super big space, it's a great place to hang out, have strong Viet coffee, and socialize. While it's still new, this is the spot to do a little work on your laptop because of the chill vibes. It's a much needed addition to this sleepy area of town! I'm hoping this place will gain more traffic and look forward to its growth in the community. It's located in a small shopping plaza with plenty of parking.
I came across this place while running errands and wanted to try it since I've heard good things! The inside is clean and spacious, it looks like a great place to study and chit chat. I ordered the SOMOT Banh Mi and Thai Tea, and the bread was so soft and pillowy! It was probably the freshest banh mi bread I've had in Orlando so far. The sandwich itself was great, and the thai tea was pretty good too. The employee gave us more of the pickled vegetables upon request and prepared a to-go box since we wanted to save the rest for later. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come again! read more

was looking for a new matcha place to stop by and have seen this place a couple times but have never been !! they told us the sea salt foam was the most popular so i got that with my classic strawberry matcha and it was delish !! the tiramisu matcha was unique and did not disappoint !! the ambiance was very relaxing and a lot of people were doing work or playing board games available at the tables. will definitely want to come back again to try more items on the menu !! :) read more

Wow! Amazing spot in Orlando for matcha. We were welcomed into the cafe with great service. At the register, Chris was so kind! He helped us with ordering and navigating the delicious menu. Super tasty iced matchas! I got the strawberry matcha. They make the real deal with the authentic Vietnamese method not just blending milk and matcha powder. You can taste it in the richness of the matcha flavor they also use all puree flavors made in house so the sweetener is all natural and not too sweet. I will say we also ordered a hot matcha it was more cool than warm so I would recommend the iced matcha. read more
Checked out Somo T because we heard they had some good matcha. It was definitely one of the best matchas I've had in Orlando! The matcha was smooth with no astringency, which is my personal preference for matcha lattes. The staff were so sweet and even helped me pick a drink as it was my first time visiting them! I stumbled upon this newer cafe during the day and I'm so glad I did. The interior is very chic and clean and the service was great, I believe it was the owner he remembered my name as I was leaving and made sure to say bye and felt very welcoming. About the food and drink, honestly as someone who has had banh mi and boba growing up, I think Somo T has the best drinks and banh mi in town! I had a carrot cake latte and the flavor was great and I also had an ube latte previously which was really good. However, the star of the show was the banh mi, the bread was warm and felt fresh and all of the ingredients were perfect! High quality coffee! This spot is located in a strip mall with several over retail store so no issues with parking. We were the only customers when we walked in which was surprising because we had a great experience! The interior was clean and bright. The staff was prompt and you can tell they put a lot of care into making the beverages. One of my new fave coffee/matcha places! It was recommended by one of my friends and I'm so glad we were able to try it out! My sister got the strawberry matcha with oat milk and I had the coconut iced coffee with ube cold foam. The coffee was strong and sweet and it was balanced perfectly! I loved the creaminess of the coconut in addition to the ube cold foam. I also really enjoyed the strawberry matcha as well, it was top 3 in orlando if I say so. The baristas were super friendly and we were serviced quickly! The cafe was super simple and modern and since we went early there were only 1 or 2 more people there. It was also in a shopping plaza so there was plenty of parking. Will definitely be back soon! read more

Finally snagged a plate of their Vietnamese Sticky Rice before it was sold out! Offered only on weekends this Sticky Rice is topped with mayo, pate, sliced pork roll, fried egg, Chinese sausage, pork floss, fried onion, and krispy krill. Add a drizzle of Sriracha sauce, and you have a cavalcade of delicious flavors that make an incredible breakfast!! Or lunch or dinner! read more

Check this place out! We tried the lemongrass chicken banh mi and it was enough for my husband and I to share and be satiated, the banh mi was delicious! Loved the flavors and the bread was perfectly crispy. We both also got the French toast latter (mine was hot, his was cold) and it was also delicious. Service was good, she made the latter hot for me when it usually doesn't come that way which was very sweet. Definitely worth a stop. read more
Highly recommend coming here and getting the coconut coffee! It's a common drink you can get in Vietnam, but I don't see many places that make it here, so I was very excited to see they had it on their menu. It's ice-blended coconut milk topped with coffee. So good and a great summer drink. I saw they have banh mis on their menu. I haven't tried them yet, but the cakes they have were super yummy. read more

Best jasmine tea I've had in Orlando! It has a great tea flavor and is nice and floral without any artificial taste. The boba is nice and perfect texture as well. The service is very friendly and the inside of the shop is clean as well. read more

Oh I am so happy I stumbled on this place! Right next to the Aldi in the shopping plaza running in for a boba tea is going to be the MOST refreshing thing this summer. I tried the jasmine green milk tea with boba and was raving about it instantly! The boba was warm and chewy in a perfectly blended milk tea. The jasmine green flavor was perfect. The staff here is so friendly and the SWEETEST girls. They make all their foods in house so nothing is frozen and will be expanding the menu soon. This is the first week of opening and I'm thrilled with what they have done redecorating the space. It's clean and bright and welcoming! Fresh flowers on the counter bring me instant joy! I'm already going to be heading back with my son so we can try the cake together and we can't wait to try the Vietnamese banh mi when they have it added to the menu. So happy to have this cute little coffee shop so close to my house to try all the delicious Vietnamese coffees! read more

Review for Somut Vietnamese Coffee Tried Somut for the first time and it did not disappoint. I ordered the salted iced coffee and the coconut iced coffee--both were standouts. The salted iced coffee hits that perfect balance: bold, slightly sweet, with a savory edge that lingers in the best way. The coconut iced coffee is smooth, creamy, and rich without being heavy. You taste real coconut, not syrupy fake flavor. Both drinks were full-bodied and satisfying. Service was on point. The staff answered all my questions and gave thoughtful recommendations without any pressure. Friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. We'll definitely be back. I got a blueberry matcha and my friend got a black coffee with oat milk! Both drinks were really good, and the service was nice as well. For the matcha heads, this stuff is the real deal. Super green/high quality. Would come back to just get the matcha alone next time. I loved the vibe inside, though the music was like a fraction too loud for me. Still it had nice lighting and layout for studying. Definitely returning soon!! read more
