The best Taro other places don't compare and service was good. I love coming to Ice and Bites.

We had such a great experience at Ice & Bites Café! Three things really stood out right away. First, the ice cream flavors were amazing. You can tell the quality is there -- super flavorful, creamy, and not overly artificial tasting. Every bite was rich and satisfying, and honestly I couldn't even wait to take a proper picture before digging in. Second, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They clearly love what they do. They took their time recommending flavors, let us try different samples, and made the whole experience feel fun instead of rushed. That level of friendliness really makes a place memorable. And lastly, I LOVED that they had games available to play. Such a cute and thoughtful touch! It made the visit feel more like a cozy hangout than just a quick dessert stop. Sitting there, playing games, and enjoying good ice cream was such a vibe. Overall, such a sweet little spot with great energy, great service, and delicious ice cream. Went here again for dessert after a nice dinner at Lazy Moon. I had to do the taro ice cream again, but this time medium size (a little under 7 dollars). I chose not to have any toppings. My colleagues and I sat in a table while I waited for my ice cream. It came a couple minutes later, and it was just as good as the last time I came. So sweet and creamy. It tasted natural and homemade, with the amazing taro flavor. There were also 3 nice scoops of the ice cream, so I insisted my colleagues to take a bite as well. It was sinfully good! The service was still good and the atmosphere looked kid friendly with board games available. I also saw a board where customers could write messages, but didn't see a marker available. So today my friend Matt and I decided to do a little Asian food stroll around the UCF area. This was our third stop for the day it is called ice and bites café and it is located next to the K Ramen as well as the world of beer by UCF. I have not been here before and oh my gosh it is so cute and the drinks are super yummy. I got a razzle dazzle medium cup which was a raspberry and strawberry black tea on ice for $5.95. My friend Matt got a strawberry soda which I believe was a large cup for $7.95. The inside has a C and great music and they also have free to use boardgames. On a wall they have at their menu as well as different drinks and bites to eat. The lady that was working at the counter was really nice she asked us what we would like in our tea I told her no Boba and so did my friend Matt. They have oodles of options to choose from so we're definitely going to be coming back. 10/10 read more

I struggled a bit for the rating on this one. I am not a fan of Boba but this place is much more than that so I wanted to try it out. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were greeted as soon as we entered. The tables were clean so we figured our order and sat down to wait for it. The place is decorated nicely and there were a few games around if you felt so inclined. We did some teas and flavored soda which tasted great albeit seemed slightly pricey compared to some of the food items. We did the Chicken Katsu sandwich which was great but seemed slightly bland. Nevertheless, it was well cooked, crunchy on the outside and juicy inside. The fries were good, we tried regular and the seasoned and really did not have a preference. They seasoned were not "overly" seasoned but seemed very similar to the regular fries. The spinach and cheese ravioli bites were the favorite and the wings were the least favorite. They were salty like the sea which was not for us. Maybe some people like that? All in all it was a pleasant experience. I would like to return to try some of the wild desert options at some point. Ice and Bites used to be my go-to Boba spot, but over the years, the Boba and tea have not been the same. Most of the options are out and the tea is ok. They are not as fresh as they used to be and the lemonade option is powder. The Boba is chewy and not well made. My friend and I got the French fries, which were overly salted. In the past, my experiences were different. The food was always well made. The staff are always friendly though. I heard about this boba spot from a friend and when I was finally in the area, I couldn't wait to check it out! It is small inside and a bit dark at night, but there is plenty of seating (couches, small tables), games for entertainment, and even dry erase walls for people to doodle! I walked in to an entirely empty store but within a minute of entering, 5+ people came in and there was quite a line, so I guess the wait time fluctuates and can be pretty unpredictable. I got my drink in like 3 minutes after ordering so very happy there. I got a large iced black tea with rose and vanilla flavoring, boba, and half sugar ($4.79). The flavors were noticeable but not overwhelming, and the sweetness was perfect! The boba or something at the bottom was warm while the ice chilled the top, so there was an interesting blend of temperature, but I didn't mind this. Overall, for a very good price, you can get some very decent drinks with unique flavors and plenty of nondairy options! I didn't get any food this time, but I overheard as other people were ordering that the taiyaki takes 20 minutes per order in an ideal situation! The staff were very upfront and communicative about it which was good, but still, I don't think I could wait over 20 minutes just for 2 small taiyaki, and that was the best case scenario of not having to wait on any other taiyaki orders. read more

On my way to visit my girlfriend, SantaPaws and I stopped by Ice & Bites for a quick dessert. Although we had initially planned to visit Happy Lemon, I saw it while turning into the plaza and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Mango Shaved Ice with Lychee Jelly, Passion Fruit Jelly, and Strawberry Jelly topped with a drizzle of Condensed Milk, which brought back memories of my time in CA. The only downside was that it took a while to receive my order due to the machine having trouble spinning out the ice shavings. However, after waiting for about 5 minutes, it finally worked and I was able to enjoy my dessert. My son got the waffle with chicken and said it was okay. I had the waffle, coincidentally that shaped to look like a fish, with vanilla ice cream and a few toppings. I would recommend this establishment. However, it would probably be more advisable to eat it there as we got it to go and my ice cream melted a bit. One of the members asked us if we had any questions or needed any help and he got our order out really quickly even though there were many orders. Not to be confused with Eyes And Bites which is basically what Indy was served in the Temple Of Doom aka Pankot Palace. After all, one night in Pankot makes a hard man humble. Like Kendrick Lamar. It was honestly one of my least favourite places I went in terms of product, even in Orlando with iffy boba standards, it's at the lowest end of the list... tasteless and disappointing. Very popular though. It's as bad as it is popular. To an extreme degree. Service wasn't lovely either but not awful. Great texture and flavors in this icy dessert and perfect for a hot and humid Florida day. I visited Ice & Bites today near UCF and it's one of my favorite ice cream shops in town. We had the lavender ice cream taiyaki with toppings and the taro berry crunch sno. The taro flavor is amazing. It was my first time having sno and I liked the texture. . The shop is whimsically decorated with a faux grass wall, a lighted heart, emoji pillows and a cherry blossom tree. I liked watching the K-Pop music videos playing on the TV. We got a naked taro ice cream and a latte tayaki with chocolate drizzle and hazel nut straws. The texture of the ice cream is a DREAM!! And the flanks are so soft and luxurious. This is ice cream for teens and brown IOS for sure as they are not overly sweet. Have a young one, don't be discouraged! I was impressed with the options on the menu, however the customer service lacked. We went an hour before closing and half the menu was unavailable due to them already putting stuff up for the night. No fish waffle cones or sno. I also watched an employee yell at her coworker to not take any more to go orders when the phone rang. Came across this place while searching for something sweet after dinner. What really caught my eye was their snow ice and that they had a version of Halo Halo - a filipino dessert that I rarely get to have because it takes a lot of ingredients and preparation. It's a small, trendy restaurant in the busy area. It was actually super packed at 9PM on a Saturday night but we were able to score one of the two tables outside. Like their name, they do ice cold sweets and hot bites. Unfortunately, by the time that we got their they were out of bites - something along the lines of kitchen issues. Thankfully, we came for the sweets. I think every new place that I go to, I automatically order the Thai tea, because if they can master the tea and milk ratio for me, they've won a customer for life. This place had a pretty good one if you ask me. We also tried the Halo Halo snow. It came with an egg custard which was a play on the flan that's in the traditional dessert. Then, they topped it off with toasted coconut instead of the coconut jelly. The ube ice creams was spot on. I'd give it a B+. I might've judged it hard in comparison to the real thing, but that's just what I was hoping for. The flavors were there. But the egg custard made me sad. I really love taiyaki (warm fish-shaped cone with ice cream) and was pleasantly surprised to find it in Orlando and with great reviews. I've been eyeing this place for at least 4 months and imagined so much on what it could have offered. When I finally went, it just doesn't live up to the expectations. First on taiyaki itself. The ice cream was very watery and light matcha-flavored. Color was pale yellowish green, good matcha that have strong/refreshing green tea flavors should have been bright green. This matcha taste like the same ones you find in 5-gallon buckets in Chinese buffets. Cone was fresh made and crispy on top and soft at the bottom, but it doesn't have any warm fillings. Ones you get in Miami (Taiyaki NYC) have warm, red bean fillings, and when they are mixed with ice cream, it's lava-molten-chocolate-cake-with-vanilla-ice-cream good! These you get at Ice&Bites are just literally regular waffle cone shaped in fish with ice cream, nothing special. Chicken bites were nothing more than just alright. They were very dry. The meat was also bland, all flavors came from the seasoning and the sauce. And worse yet, everything was overpriced. 10 pieces of popcorn-chicken-sized chicken bites were $5. And taiyaki with the added toppings was $7, which is the same price as Taiyaki NYC in cities like NYC and Miami, but without it being in big city prime location and tasted half as good. I still feel like this place is trying, but just not dedicated enough. 3-stars for good effort, vibe, location, parking, and service. Hopefully it'll be better one of these days. read more

There are 2 tables that could sit about 6 people and there are a couple of small round tables with 4 chairs, there is a couch looking area. There is also outdoor seating. Just 2 of them though. I went to Ice&Bites cafe for the first time today! I am so surprised that I have never been there before as I went to school right down the street. The cafe was super cute inside. It is a perfect place (under non covid circumstances) to go and hangout with friends or take your laptop to go and study. I got two things from there when I ordered. One was a taro boba tea and the other was a taiyaki with lavender ice cream. The Taiyaki was amazing as was the ice cream! I would highly recommend it to everyone. It does melt pretty quickly but they provide a cup to catch the drips. The Taiyaki does take a while to make so make sure to plan your time accordingly. My friend and I went and it took about half hour to make the both of them. But it is definitely worth the wait. As for covid response, this place has some of the tables taped off so that people social distance, there is hand sanitizer next to to the door, and everyone is wearing masks. read more

Met up with a friend to catch up. It shares a parking lot with other businesses, and I was able to find a spot easily. I arrived first around 6:30pm and found that it was pretty busy with most seating taken - I managed to grab a couple of chairs from the longer combined tables, but thankfully around 7pm it freed up a bit. It's a nice student friendly place to meet up and catch up or work on a project. My friend arrived and we placed our orders at the counter and picked up when it was ready. We both shared the pork egg rolls and chicken bites. I ordered the princess peach tea and found it was already sweetened which made it an easy order. The food didn't take too long to come out and we both dug in. The princess peach tea was lovely - it's sweetened in a light way which is perfect for me! The pork egg rolls and chicken bites were both delicious. I only wish the chicken bites were seasoned more with the flavors we requested. Overall I think this is a relaxing place to go to for a small catch up or just to think for yourself. I look forward to coming back and trying more menu items. read more
