Fun quiet atmosphere which was surprising to me since it appears to be a college student hang out. Latte was so smooth I didn't even need sweetener. Avocado toast and egg cheese croissant were good.

I needed a quick coffee on my way home this morning and decided to stop into Fable coffee. I'm so glad I did! The theme of the shop is fantasy, which I absolutely love as I am deep in my first read of the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. After consulting with a super friendly barista, I settled on A Latte of Sugar and Spice from the seasonal menu for something warm and whimsical. I will definitely be back to try the housemaid carrot cake syrup in the seasonal carrot cake latte (iced). Fable has a delicious selection of pastry and panini options are available as well as a wall of board games to choose from. I look forward to returning when I have a bit more time to settle in and enjoy the space. Definitely recommend you check it out.

I mixed up some appointments and needed a calm moment (and a little caffeine) to reset my day, having heard of Fable on Ig I decided to make a quick drop in. I absolutely love themed experiences and this place food that absolutely but I fully enjoyed. Overall I loved the nod to DnD through the merch, decor and menu. I ordered the Pizelle latte and recommend you try it as well. The flavors came through wonderfully! Each was noticeable but not overbearing. Overall the ambiance was very enjoyable- friends socializing, some gaming and some reading. There is also a game library and many community event posters.

Flavor: Choice and flavorful for both seasonal and regular menu items. All quality & craft at good prices. Service: friendly and timely Other notes: cool vibe, and nice seating. Games to play, or easy to work at. Location & Parking: big shared lot, free parking. Tan Cha next door also great Price: great and reasonable, not expensive Is it what's up? Its fabled.

I want to start by saying that the interior of Fable is very nice. I really like the atmosphere and have had good experiences with the staff. I also really enjoy their coffee. The solstice spice latte was nice. It was an interesting flavor combination that worked really well together. This is totally a personal preference, but I did find it a bit too sweet. So, when it comes to their food, I will start by saying that the sandwiches tasted good. However, there is a really big discrepancy in size of you order one of their sandwiches on a croissant versus the sourdough. Keep in mind both are $10 sandwiches. I have to be honest, portion wise, neither sandwich felt like it was worth $10. Even $8 would have felt more appropriate. Ultimately my partner left feeling hungry.

I've been here a couple of times and I really do love their coffee creations! This is a really great place to catch up with a friend, work remote, read a book or just hang. I love that their staff is super chill and friendly. It is a fast casual place where you order at the counter and they call your name. I have had some of their bakery offerings and they've been a little dry but still taste okay. I'd imagine if the times I've come in were earlier, it'd be a different story. This really is a little hidden gem. I love their theme and look forward to any seasonal offering they have.

Came in for their 1 year anniversary. It was so delightful! It's a cozy coffee shop with some delicious options for pasties to pair with your coffee. Everyone on staff that I interacted with was friendly and helpful with giving suggestions on what to order. I went with the ube latte, ube brownie, Lord latte and flan.Everything was delicious, but I really enjoyed the Ube latte. I found a comfy spot on a couch towards the back, which made the experience more relaxing. The whole cafe is fantasy themed; think dragons, board games, lord of the rings cozy vibes. Everyone was super inviting and I will definitely return.

Fable is one of my favorite coffee spots--everything they make is consistently delicious and crafted with care. Their espresso drinks are smooth and bold, their matcha is perfectly balanced, and the butterbeer is such a fun, cozy treat! The service is always friendly and efficient--everyone behind the counter is kind, knowledgeable, and clearly cares about the customer experience. It's also got a really fun fantastical vibe and has various board games available to play in shop. Fable is my go to for a lunch break caffeine boost!

Fable is a cozy cafe near UCF/Waterford Lakes with a fantasy and TTRPG theme. I've actually tried to go twice before today, but couldn't get a seat because they were so busy. I finally succeeded today! The staff was very kind, but I have to take some stars off for a few reasons. The first is pricing transparency-- I ordered a dirty chai latte, which is a chai with a shot of espresso added. The chai latte was already expensive to begin with, but adding a single shot was $2! The cost of adding a shot was nowhere on the menu and I was shocked at the price. With the minimum suggested tip, that made my single basic drink cost over $8! And of course like all cafes now you have to carry your own drink from the bar and hope you don't spill it everywhere, and bus your own table, so I don't know who's deserving a tip when they make you do all the work. Drink was fine, not bad, but certainly not $8+ good. The second reason I'm deducting a star is for the general atmosphere - it's absolutely freezing inside. Like "my hands are going numb" freezing. Bus bins were completely full when I tried to bring up my dish and there was no toilet paper in the restroom either...icky. You kind of get the impression that the staff are doing the bare minimum.

This was my first visit to Fable and I am sure I will come again! This is the perfect combination of nerdy references and good coffee! I know they are relatively new to the scene (opened in July I believe) but it seems they have a steady business already. The shop was full when I visited. The ambiance was great, with a variety of seating in the shop and good spacing. The decor was D&D style but without being overwhelming. I loved the nods to adventuring in the menu as well. They had merch for sale too. I liked that they had a shelf of board games too, and some nice table top ones that aren't just connect four or apples to apples. Even the coffee cups are full of D&D designs. Who doesn't want to drink coffee with an owlbear cub? :) The service was good too. Prompt and friendly. Willing to have a conversation. The food I didn't try, but I got a roll to go and it was yummy! They have so many different flavors! I like that they have seasonal flavors too. I had the banana harvest chai latte and it was delish! I went with my sister and also got the cottage crumble apple latte. My one small qualm was I got one of the coffees hot and it was served to me almost room temperature so I would maybe mention it again when ordering a hot drink. It's not going to discourage me though, I fully intend to make this place a regular haunt!

A very cute and trendy cafe for students and locals that appreciate board games to check out! The atmosphere is very cozy, and they have dozens of games to choose from. Haven't tried the food yet, which is mostly pastries,, but the coffee is pretty good! They also have seasonal flavors that the staff comes up with. Highly recommend the Black Forest Mocha latte (the name might be wrong) but it is so good! We got ours with half sugar and it's black cherry puree with mocha. :) we will be back to play some more games and try the pastries!

Edit august 2025 Their ube drink is back but im completely disappointed! Tasteless and expensive! Almost $8 I got to know this ube latte through an event they participated by east colonial in 2024 and it surely didn't taste like this ( coffee itself was strong but once it mixed, I could only taste milk- no ube taste ) _________ Very nice atmosphere. Hannah was adorable and knowledgeable. Coffee with pistachio and rose was delicious! I hope they bring the Ube back!

It may take a couple of sips to appreciate it but it is fantastic. The fruit tart had a very pleasing texture, crunchy crust and moist creamy tart top. great compliment to the coffee. And what caught my eye when doomscrolling through instagram and skimming through my apps for recommended food places were their sandwiches and pastries. They are as beautiful in person as they are in the pictures. One thing I can't infer from a picture very well is the size. And let me tell you, that sandwich was pretty massive. It's larger than some of the burgers I've been trying out lately in the area, so you get every bang out of your buck. I got the Beef Bugolgi Shokupan Sandwich, which was bursting with a generous serving of beef and a really large, soft, fluffy scrambled egg, all packed between 2 super thick and pillowy buttery toasted bread. I also got the Pork Belly Bao, which I honestly like better than the sandwich. The bao buns are super fluffy, and the pork belly slices are perfectly thick sliced and flavorful. It's a great menu item to get if you want to share with another person since it comes with 2 servings per order. For dessert, I struggled a bit to pick and choose, haha. Of course I couldn't just pick one, but I am a little proud of myself for only selecting 2 instead of a whole entire box. From the pastry case, I picked the custard donut, which was soft, chewy, and stuffed to bursting with a pudding-like filling. And from the cake case, I got the Raspberry mousse. I couldn't resist that glass-like ruby red skin. But unfortunately, it was too tart for my taste. There's a lot on the menu that I can't try in just one visit, so I'm definitely bound to come back again.

I was in the area visiting family and wanted to grab some coffee before the road trip home to South Florida. A local business is better than a Starbucks. Bonus is it's my favorite bakery in Orlando so I'm here for it. This Light on the Sugar is located next to the Regal Cinemas in Waterford Lakes. Squished between Charley's Philly Cheesesteaks and Zen Dumplings. What I dislike about this location is the wooden gazebo they built directly in front of these stores. It totally hides the name of the stores and it's not appealing. This made it hard to find too. They should honestly get rid of the gazebos, these poor stores may be losing potential business because people can't locate it. This bakery is the smallest one compared to the original two locations I've been to. It's ok because they still sell most of the same items, just less of a selection due to limited space. They offer the popular cream puffs, pastries, tarts, merch and drinks. On this particular day, I only got the Pistachio Latte and an Americano. My husband likes a good simple coffee with no bells and whistles. The other stuff is too much for him. Ha. I really debated getting pastries for the road but I was just at the Winter Park location yesterday and got an assortment so I was good on pastries. My Pistachio Latte was good, but it was a tad on the sweet sweeter side. I had my husband mix some of his Americano with my latte so it balanced out a little bit more for both of us. All in all, nice new and intimate location with a few tables indoors and outdoors. I still prefer the other beautiful and more aesthetic locations. Good thing this bakery wasn't here when I lived here, I would be broke! Lol.
