Oh my gosh do I love this place. Their pastries? Amazing. Their vibes? Fantastic. I've only tried two of those drinks and they're both great! The baristas were nice and attentive and were constantly paying attention to the guests. 10/10 The ambiance is what makes this establishment worth it. They have boardgames ready for their guests to use and play. They have tables for gests to play D&D, magic or any other game. The decor was geeky and perfect for those who are looking for a place to fit in. They also have a small gift shop with funny sticker, keychains and more. My only wish is for it to grow and expand! I needed a quick coffee on my way home this morning and decided to stop into Fable coffee. I'm so glad I did! The theme of the shop is fantasy, which I absolutely love as I am deep in my first read of the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. After consulting with a super friendly barista, I settled on A Latte of Sugar and Spice from the seasonal menu for something warm and whimsical. I will definitely be back to try the housemaid carrot cake syrup in the seasonal carrot cake latte (iced). Fable has a delicious selection of pastry and panini options are available as well as a wall of board games to choose from. I look forward to returning when I have a bit more time to settle in and enjoy the space. Definitely recommend you check it out. read more

I mixed up some appointments and needed a calm moment (and a little caffeine) to reset my day, having heard of Fable on Ig I decided to make a quick drop in. I absolutely love themed experiences and this place food that absolutely but I fully enjoyed. Overall I loved the nod to DnD through the merch, decor and menu. I ordered the Pizelle latte and recommend you try it as well. The flavors came through wonderfully! Each was noticeable but not overbearing. I want to start by saying that the interior of Fable is very nice. I really like the atmosphere and have had good experiences with the staff. I also really enjoy their coffee. The solstice spice latte was nice. It was an interesting flavor combination that worked really well together. This is totally a personal preference, but I did find it a bit too sweet. So, when it comes to their food, I will start by saying that the sandwiches tasted good. However, there is a really big discrepancy in size of you order one of their sandwiches on a croissant versus the sourdough. Keep in mind both are $10 sandwiches. I have to be honest, portion wise, neither sandwich felt like it was worth $10. Even $8 would have felt more appropriate. Ultimately my partner left feeling hungry. read more

I've been here a couple of times and I really do love their coffee creations! This is a really great place to catch up with a friend, work remote, read a book or just hang. I love that their staff is super chill and friendly. It is a fast casual place where you order at the counter and they call your name. I have had some of their bakery offerings and they've been a little dry but still taste okay. I'd imagine if the times I've come in were earlier, it'd be a different story. Everyone on staff that I interacted with was friendly and helpful with giving suggestions on what to order. Fable is a cozy cafe near UCF/Waterford Lakes with a fantasy and TTRPG theme. I've actually tried to go twice before today, but couldn't get a seat because they were so busy. I finally succeeded today! The staff was very kind, but I have to take some stars off for a few reasons. The first is pricing transparency-- I ordered a dirty chai latte, which is a chai with a shot of espresso added. The chai latte was already expensive to begin with, but adding a single shot was $2! The cost of adding a shot was nowhere on the menu and I was shocked at the price. With the minimum suggested tip, that made my single basic drink cost over $8! And of course like all cafes now you have to carry your own drink from the bar and hope you don't spill it everywhere, and bus your own table, so I don't know who's deserving a tip when they make you do all the work. Drink was fine, not bad, but certainly not $8+ good. The second reason I'm deducting a star is for the general atmosphere - it's absolutely freezing inside. Like "my hands are going numb" freezing. Bus bins were completely full when I tried to bring up my dish and there was no toilet paper in the restroom either...icky. You kind of get the impression that the staff are doing the bare minimum. read more

This was my first visit to Fable and I am sure I will come again! This is the perfect combination of nerdy references and good coffee! I know they are relatively new to the scene (opened in July I believe) but it seems they have a steady business already. The shop was full when I visited. The ambiance was great, with a variety of seating in the shop and good spacing. The decor was D&D style but without being overwhelming. I loved the nods to adventuring in the menu as well. They had merch for sale too. I liked that they had a shelf of board games too, and some nice table top ones that aren't just connect four or apples to apples. Even the coffee cups are full of D&D designs. Who doesn't want to drink coffee with an owlbear cub? :) The service was good too. Prompt and friendly. Willing to have a conversation. The food I didn't try, but I got a roll to go and it was yummy! They have so many different flavors! I like that they have seasonal flavors too. I had the banana harvest chai latte and it was delish! I went with my sister and also got the cottage crumble apple latte. My one small qualm was I got one of the coffees hot and it was served to me almost room temperature so I would maybe mention it again when ordering a hot drink. A very cute and trendy cafe for students and locals that appreciate board games to check out! The atmosphere is very cozy, and they have dozens of games to choose from. Haven't tried the food yet, which is mostly pastries,, but the coffee is pretty good! They also have seasonal flavors that the staff comes up with. Highly recommend the Black Forest Mocha latte (the name might be wrong) but it is so good! We got ours with half sugar and it's black cherry puree with mocha. :) we will be back to play some more games and try the pastries! read more

Such a quiet, cozy little coffee spot I appreciate their seasonal coffees. Somethings always changing the small menus are cute but the coffee is great. There was plenty of seating, but I think due to the proximity to UCF and the timing of finals week, there were no open seats. We ordered two lattes, one was a hot apple crunch and one was a iced matcha vanilla. The apple crunch was okay, but there was no crunch, likely due to the temperature of the drink. The matcha vanilla one was extremely disappointing. There was no matcha flavor and it was like I had ordered a slightly tinged green milk. Super adorable cafe with craft coffee drinks, delightful sweets and cool ambiance. There's a lot of games to play in the back, comfy couches and a nice quiet interior great for chatting and studying. Their specialty drinks are unique and I wish I could try them all. Ended up with the Dragon's Breath which was made with cold brew concentrate, cream, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon. The best part is it's apple wood smoked to finish. The bold smoky flavor adds a really nice taste to the drink. The staff was friendly and took their time creating each drink. East Orlando-We were really excited to try this new coffee shop, since it was so close to where we live. First of all, let me point out that the inside of this cafe is absolutely adorable. The front counter gal was very sweet. We had such high hopes that this would be a spot to hang out and enjoy coffee and treats. Unfortunately adorable cafe is where it ends. We were super excited to try the dragons breath coffee, because we had read a review about how delicious it was and how they "smoke it" right in front of you. Not only did they not smoke it in front of us, it was completely watered down and had no flavor whatsoever. There was some cinnamon powder on top and that was the only taste. I actually only drank a quarter of it and tossed the rest. My date enjoyed his Lord of the latte and thought it was very flavorful. The corn puffs added a great texture and look. We tried the "avocado" toast. Unfortunately no avocado was involved in the making of the "avocado" toast. It was not toast, it was a croissant, which was, itself, very tasty. The "avocado" was actually a vinegary type of spread used extremely sparingly on the croissant, along with a ton of arugula. This was more like an arugula sandwich. (See pics) The ham and cheese croissant was tasty, but needed a bit more substance for the price. We tried the churro roll cake. Very pretty, but very dry. Showed up for the grand opening and the line was nearly out the door!!! And for good reason--everything is a yes! The service was great, everyone was quick and friendly despite being absolutely slammed with customers. The coffee and free sample of their dessert rolls were super delicious. The space is big and cozy and had tons of seating. I cannot wait to sample more of the items on the menu but the mocha was a 10/10! While Fable was around as a pop up for years prior, I am so excited to see them in a brick and mortar where I can get my fix day in and day out! My first visit with Andrew & Evelyn were awesome they really made it a lasting experience. Andrew was very helpful, patient and personable. He made us feel very welcomed and comfortable being first timers. I've been back twice already, I had Landon greet me today and again, very personable and welcoming. The tea and coffee are delicious so are the pastries. The theme around this place is so cozy & really brings out the imagination with board games available for play and themes decor. Visited during their first week open and my experience was pleasant. The barista was friendly and knowledgeable, the ambiance was fun and inviting, the music was soft lo-fi, and the coffee and croissant were both delicious. I purchased a bag of beans to take home and will definitely be back! I will mention that there are no prices listed on the hanging menu, which caught me by surprise when my single ham and cheese croissant was $11. It was tasty but I don't think I would purchase again for that price. I ordered a basic oat milk honey latte and felt that was priced appropriately for the size and quality. Because they are new, I hope that they take this into consideration for the future. I also recommend that they post their wifi password so that people won't have to keep asking, and somewhere to refill water bottles. Aside from that though, I really enjoyed my visit! read more

To be honest the coffee was super on point. Love the roast they use from Orlando local cupacoffe. I got the dragons breath which was tasty and service was great. However I will only be getting coffee here until they figure out their kitchen/food a bit more. Sandwiches on what looks like Costco croissants(which I love) but very overpriced. Then I saw the owner bringing in Sabra guac cups from target that I'm assuming they used on my avocado toast? Which makes it guac not avocado toast as it's barely a smear. Avocado toast implies avocado not a dip. It also had a a lot of arugula which I guess was to make up for the lack of everything else. It gives someone who hasn't ran a kitchen before vibes so I hope they can get some better inventory and standards for food if they plan on maintaining those prices. I tried one pastry roll which was good but nothing spectacular. Also they close at 8 when it's promoted as a table top games cafe which most games take hours which they should take into consideration regarding hours especially weekends.
