I was really disappointed with my experience at Jacob's Cafe. I ordered a slice of crepe cake that cost almost $7, and it tasted freezer-burnt and stale, like it had been sitting in storage for a long time. Unfortunately, the service didn't make up for it. The employee working was on her phone and came across as rude and uninterested when helping customers. For the price, I expected much better quality and customer service. Cute cafe. Very open and lots of natural lighting. The drinks and food are mostly good. And there are some unique dishes here like menemen, which is Turkish-style scrambled eggs. I enjoyed the menemen. My friend ordered a crepe. She liked it, but felt like it was too sweet and didn't end up finishing it. We also got drinks. I ordered a london fog, and my friend ordered an iced coffee. However, the restaurant did not have any earl grey tea left, so they made my drink with black tea. I was a bit bummed by that. Overall, I think this is a good spot in Waterford to study, do work, or chat with friends. read more

We love the turkish breakfast that is very healthy full of veggies, cheese, egg, just the way you need a breakfast to be!! The cafe which is very modern and clean estethique give you peace and warm at the same time. They have a chefs board in case you just want to. Hill between coffee. They offer sandwiches salad and pasta, but also They have gelatina and pastries, is one of my favorites places to spend time with friends.. I was newly recommended this cafe by a friend and am so happy to find this local gem. The variety of gelato they provide is insane. I was warmly greeted when entering and offered samples of their gelato. There are not as many outlets but the room is very spacious. The staff are very friendly. Though my visit was cut short since the owner wanted to close early I will gladly pay them another visit to study and grab a scoop of gelato. read more

A nice quaint spot in Waterford! I came here for dinner with my mom on a Wednesday night it was not busy. There was a chess club that was just starting as we were leaving, but before that it was quiet and slow. We each got a hot chai latte, big cup and delicious! I got the ribeye salad bowl and my mother got the ribeye sandwich. Hers was really good with the meat flavor and sauce onions and peppers. For the rib eye bowl, the steak had good flavor, but surprisingly I didn't find the rest of the salad didn't have much flavor. The dressing they put on, to me, was bland. Overall very healthy bowl, but I think adding some red bell pepper to it would give it some sweet flavor. At the end we both got a cup of gelato to go. read more

Jacob's cafe is aesthetically a beautiful place to grab a meal with family or that special someone, with kind employees and a nice selection of food. Bathroom was clean, and there is a selection of indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee and desserts (a nice selection of baked goods and assortment of gelato) make this ideal stop if you're sweet tooth is craving something good too! Though most of our meal was good, with my wife getting a pesto wrap and enjoying a rustic steak sandwich myself, our appetizer of a empanada was cold in the middle. The steak sandwich was good, but missing an X factor. My wife overall enjoyed the pesto wrap with no complaints, and the speciality coffees were absolutely the highlight of our lunch here. I walked in, noticed cashier was on her phone which has always been chill with me but she didn't even care to get off it lol. I'm looking at the menu filled with AI pictures (wtf?) and then I order with the cashier who very clearly doesn't want to serve me. I saw her leaving like 5 minutes later so maybe she was just emotionally done with her shift but it was like 1:30. The mixed berry tea was fine but the sandwich was much worse. I think the chicken was just unseasoned chicken breast. It was bland and there was nowhere near enough sauce to help. The sauce was good but the taste was subtle so I forgot about it most of the time. The restaurant was pretty cute, I really liked seeing the little shop but that was kinda the only redeeming factor of my experience. One of the workers (not the cashier) brought me my food and she had a good personality but the damage was already done. Cute and unassuming coffee shop with a Turkish flair. We ordered the waffles, avocado toast (on fresh sourdough) and the empanadas (chicken and beef). Everything was delicious and fresh. The empanadas definitely passed the Puerto Rican flavor check. The staff were very friendly and there was a sweet Turkish mama making all the food. Will eat here again! Great place, friendly people, delicious healthy food. Definitely recommend! We were here with a women's group and they were so welcoming.

My daughter and I love trying new places. We came across this spot on Instagram and that same afternoon we was on the road for an hour drive to this spot. This cafe is beautiful point blank. The staff is so amazing and most importantly kind. I ordered the coconut matcha to try. It was my first time trying matcha. The barista explained throughly the taste, what's in it, and how it's made. I ended up not being earthy enough for match so I went back to order another drink. It was of course my choice to try the drink so I had zero issue paying for different drink. I'm not sure if the gentleman was the owner or a manager but he refused to let me pay for another drink after I didn't like the first one. I tried to give them my card a few times and he kindly said "I'll survive not having another $4". That was adorable! Wish I got his name. Aside from that we order a waffle, which was super fluffy and filling. I also ordered the avocado toast (w/o tomatoes) and I was in heaven. I wish I would have asked for a fried egg on top but nonetheless we throughly enjoyed ourselves. Ribeye Steak Bites, Spring mix, Couscous, Cherry Tomatoes, Corn, Cucumber, Red Onion, Beans, Avocado, Seasonings, ranch dressing. Two star at best. Gelato rich and creamy a five star. The atmosphere is amazing. Customer service was fine. The food tasted really good however its a little pricy considering how simple some of the dishes are (like the avocado toast). Tables seemed not clean, there were many pieces of hair on it, but maybe we just got unlucky. The utensils that were provided were dirty (there were chunks of chocolate on the fork prongs). I'm willing to come back though and give this place a second shot. They also have a large selection of gelato that seemed cool, but didn't try because it was out of my budget ($6+ for a small). read more

The best matcha I've ever had. I was hesitant about gelato but the tester Biscoff they gave me was great and I added a blackberry to it after listening to their suggestions. It was the best gelato combination I've ever had. Batu is very professional and polite. I finally found my place to come in the mornings and work on the computer. read more
