Our favorite breakfast Diner in Orlando! They never disappoint. It's been our favorite for years now. It's quick, fresh, delicious, friendly service. The place is always clean and well staffed. the kids love their chocolate chip pancakes and chocolate milk. Out go to when we want a good hearty breakfast that feels homemade.

Phenomenal service. The owner took care of us today. Nice to patronize a family-owned business. TVs playing on mute so you can watch news. Food came out quickly. Yum.

Comfort food diner. Excellent service. The coffee keeps flowing. Lots of cute signs around the diner.

Love to come here for the daily special - today (Thursday) is breaded pork with mashed potatoes and corn- also comes with soup or salad, I got the soup - pasta fagioli Our server Martina was quick and very attentive keeping our drinks filled. The ambiance is nice with quiet music in background.

    (34) Johnny Omelet was filled with crispy bacon, sausage and other goodies. Lucky Table 13 for me!

Great Diner that was super crowded on a Saturday morning for good reason. The tables are small, you're kinda crammed in there, but it has that diner "vibe" and food is good. I had the Johnny Omelet that was filled with bacon that was actually crispy, some other meats and peppers and onions. It was covered in sausage gravy and came with delicious crispy hash browns. Yum! Service was spectacular with refills of coffee and water flowing like mad into even a 3/4 empty glass. Kudos to the staff here for just killing it! I'm normally not a breakfast/diner person, but they place may change my mind.

Popular local eatery for breakfast. We seated ourselves and the hostess brought us our drinks. A few minutes later our food order was taken and we waited. Not long at all to be honest. Out came our food as ordered hot and tasty. Eggs were perfect hot and runny. Hash browns crispy and the bacon crispy but not too. Toast was buttered in the kitchen but they gave me some more on the side. French toast was a good portion and very good. A very good breakfast. Both of us ate for about 20 bucks. The interior was bright and clean. Protip: you know it is a good spot when you see the Sheriff's deputies are there.

This is a true hidden gem of winter park. Went here and wasn't disappointed. Their food was phenomenal and all at a great price as well. Their service was super friendly and fast. I highly recommend the Johnny's Omelette....delicious!!! Excited to become a regular here!

I really enjoyed coming here. The food was tasty, the portions were good, and the prices were very fair. We ordered a chicken fried steak with eggs, a ham n cheese omelette, a half portion of french toast, and coffee. First off, coffee was good. The chicken fried steak was small, but justified by the price. The French toast was very generic but good. I noticed some dishes excelled while others were just OK. One thing that was consistent were the prices, and the prices certainly pull people in. Not a bad option for breakfast. Service is outstanding.

I lived just down the street from Johnny's for like three years when I first moved to Orlando. I feel bad that I never went, or even heard of it. But lately it's been getting more press and is winning more awards in the periodicals that I read. They have some of the best breakfast in town, I love breakfast, so I came here one morning to see what was up. It's in a strip mall, so you would think there isn't much opportunity for adding personality to your exterior, but Johnny found a way. Huge Christmas window paint murals adorn the giant windows, making this exterior very fun and very festive. Eye catching. The service was legendary. You get greeted immediately with a good ol' country howdy when you enter the door. Like the ones I'm used to and miss about back home. You get a lot of huns and shugs when you're ordering and being checked on. And the server comes along to see if you need a coffee refill literally every five minutes or so. It was like being in a movie, the service. It was excellent. The menu all looked so good, it was hard to choose, but I ended up going with the Johnny Omelet (Bacon, ham, sausage, onions, green peppers and cheese topped w/sausage gravy), after getting confirmation that it was a good amount of food for guys my size. It was very good! Tons and tons of fillings, All diced very finely, so you got a little bit of everything in each bite. Just enough gravy on top, sometimes diners drown their food in gravy and take away from their meal, but this gravy was tastefully done. And the hash browns, griddled to a crispy perfection. Very nice. I also got to sample the Very Special Breakfast (2 eggs, hash browns, 2 silver dollar pancakes, 2 strips of bacon, 2 links of sausage, slice of ham toast white or wheat). Lots of little bites here, everything done well. Over medium eggs were perfect. Overall, the décor felt very homey, the service felt very familiar, and the food was solid. I'm glad I didn't know about this place sooner, so I'd weigh a lot more. Thanks for an excellent meal, Johnny.

Pros: Ambiance is super quaint. It's only a strip mall, but the holiday décor that was painted all over the windows, and the plethora of holiday décor decked all over the halls inside, really gave this place a jolly spirit. ' Service was so good. Everything came out timely, was hot and delicious, and the server even came around to our table like every five minutes with a coffee top-off offer. Just like the movies. Food was delicious. Everything was well-cooked, the portions were good, and the huge menu definitely had something for everyone. Cons: No real cons. Everything was really good. Love a good diner. Tips: Get an omelet. Get hashbrowns. Get the pancakes. You really can't go wrong.

We came in at the right time we were able to sit right away. It is a seat yourself place, but it does get very busy and there are some wait times but the food was really good. Even the water tasted really good. It didn't taste like that nasty Florida water. I like how they walk around serving coffee and water. I think I drank like 3 cups of coffee but the cups are like small so it turns into one lol the home fries were very well seasoned 10 out of 10 recommend.

My Pops and I are regulars at Johnny's. It is a family owned business and they treat everyone like family here! They remember names and orders here which makes me feel so special. The menu is expansive and full of variety, yet they get the orders out hot and quick! The price point is very reasonable as you can get full breakfast with $8.50 specials! Yesterday I had the polish sausage breakfast and everything was perfect! I don't know of a breakfast place with creamier grits which I know all my fellow southerners will appreciate! Eating here reminds me breakfast at grandma's. 10/10 recommend!

I asked for a biscuit. Eggs were fine. The home fries and the biscuit tasted the same. Obviously the grill imparted a "flavor" to the home fries and biscuit as both were grilled. This flavor was not good. The crispy bacon was ok. Had black marks on it that I could not u sweat and from cooking. My son's two eggs, half order of biscuits and gravy with bacon he enjoyed. As we were paying I noticed I had ordered the special 7-9 daily for 8.99 but I was charged 10.50. When I asked she said I gave you extra bacon I thought you would want that. At that point I scratched Sally's off the list and will never return. Kinda shady.

The atmosphere is very retro and relaxed. There are different seat options from booths to tables. The servers were AMAZING, kind, and attentive. As soon as we walked in they were asking us for our drink orders and giving us menus. There was a vide variety of breakfast options and some lunch options to choose from. I went with the sausage egg and cheese sandwich on an English muffin with a side of hash browns. The sandwich tasted very homemade and I love that! The sausage was probably my fav part. Although I asked for my hasbrowns to be crispy and they were, they also lacked flavor so next time I may ask for them to be cooked regularly!

They have a few nice craft beers on tap and the most amazing hummus platter ever. So many places give you a tiny dollop of hummus, a few crackers and if you're lucky a few cut up carrots. Not here, you get a giant amount of hummus - you get house made lavash - and you get beautiful baby medium sized carrots and all of that is only $8 on happy hour. The hummus is very flavorful with a tiny kick and the lavash is super crunchy with an amazing seasoning on it that reminds me of "everything bagel seasoning". Other than that, the food was great. I sampled a few items of the apps that people ordered. From what I can remember, the truffle fries really stood out. For my entree, I got the chopped elk medium cooked. It was fantastic. Very delicious and almost tasted like a really beefy meatloaf. Not gamey at all. The sauce drizzled on it was so savory. I wished there were more mashed potatoes underneath because those were amazing too. It was also a very big portion. Definitely recommend. Would come back again and try something else or even order that again.
