Bob's is a very cozy restaurant. Nestled at the end of a row of stores, it has become one of my favorite breakfast spots! Mary and Terry are sisters that work there, and they are friendly and welcoming! Don't be surprised if they call you by name. One you become a regular, of course. My favorite breakfast there includes Pancakes, eggs and sausage links. They are healthy looking links and so satisfying! The links are what brought me back! I have also had the french toast and biscuits and gravy. The food is made from scratch! It's also great for the Senior Discount! They also serve lunch, but I have always come for breakfast! My spouse comes here with his mom all the time and decided to bring me this time. I can honestly say I don't understand the hype. The place has its nostalgia vibe, but that's about the only positive. The service was disappointing from start to finish. It wasn't even busy, so there really wasn't an excuse for how inattentive everything felt. The food was even worse. I ordered a burger, and it tasted like it had been microwaved. I'm not sure why they ask how you'd like your burger cooked if they're going to overcook it anyway. I usually don't send food back, so I just dealt with it, but I definitely shouldn't have had to. Overall, this was a pretty bad experience. Cute place, you can tell it is a small business. There was a little wait on a Sunday, but that makes sense considering it is right next to a Church. If you are coming on a Sunday, get there early! We had the Denver Omelette and added mushrooms, that was the best dish. The Bob's Breakfast Sandwich was good, but the Texas Toast it was served on made it almost too thick to bite into, but it was still good! The biscuits and gravy were nothing special. I wouldn't recommend them. The biggest complaint was the ketchup on the table. It had an open squirt bottle top, so you couldn't really shake well it to make sure that it was all combined before squirting it. So it came out really liquidy. It's a small thing in the grand scheme of things, but it is a major bummer when you want to have ketchup on your breakfast potatoes and it is just liquid on the plate. read more

Definitely a very solid diner! I love breakfast but my main issue with eating out for breakfast is that it's usually much too expensive for the given portion. Not at Bob's! I think this is probably one of the cheapest real breakfasts (not fast food) I've eaten which was actually filling. I had 2 different servers coming to my table, which I thought was a little interesting but not an issue at all. Both were great and I suppose it ensured that we were seen very quickly, which I appreciated very much. I asked my first server if she recommended the breakfast sandwich or the french toast and she said it was too hard for her to personally choose but that more people order the sandwich. I was hopeful for the food and I ended up being a bit underwhelmed. The two pieces of bread were meant to be Texas toast, but its taste resembled lightly buttered toast (definitely not bad, but I expected more). The egg was just plain scrambled eggs, and the bacon wasn't anything special either. The sandwich, unfortunately, just tasted very mediocre with how much potential it had. The hash browns were pretty yummy, I would definitely recommend getting them for your side. However, the sausages were my favorite part of the meal. The sides were the stars of the show, but this gives me faith that maybe I just have to order a different entree next time. The atmosphere felt pretty friendly. There was a lot of 'coffee mom' type of decorations on the wall which I thought was fun. Everybody there (employees and customers) all seemed very comfortable, so the whole vibe was pretty chill. tldr; I recommend this place! Just maybe don't get Mr. Bob's breakfast sandwich. I found this restaurant on Yelp when nearby. It is a local, one-of-a-kind restaurant. The restaurant is relatively small. I went mid-morning on a weekday. They were very busy. I sat at the only remaining table. The restaurant was neat and clean. Nothing fancy. The service was excellent considering the number of diners. I just had coffee and a breakfast consisting of two eggs, sunny-side up and one half order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was covered with ample gravy. I enjoyed it. First time. Not horrible. Not great. Okay. Had the Denver omelette. This made right is great but this one missed the mark. Not sure if it's just the way they made it but it was bland. This is supposed to have veggies ham and cheese. Struggled to find or taste veggies. Only knew it had green peppers because I saw green specs here and there. Same with the ham. Something I never say....too much cheese. It over powered the dish and was what came through the most. Not in a good way. The toast was over cooked. It was like eating two slices of uncut crouton squares. The hash brown crisp inside a bit mushy. Grits were waterlogged and flavorless. Really wanted to like this place. The service was good for the most part though the place is small and they were a bit busy. One would never expect a diner in a strip mall to be all that, but Bob's Diner proved me wrong! It was set up like a typical diner. It was clean. I could tell from the interaction of the waitress with folks that were coming through the door that they have lots of regulars which is always a good sign. I ordered the turkey croissant sandwich which was the special for the day. And I had the pasta salad and New England clam chowder soup. My turkey sandwich was great! I'm a huge fan of using a croissant as bread for a sandwich lol. I put mayo on half and mustard on the other and I preferred the mustard along with this sandwich. I would highly recommend the pasta salad! It was deliscious! And I can't forget the clam chowder soup, yummy yummy yummy. Everything you're looking for in a soup, it was creamy with lots of clams and some potatoes. Our server was super friendly and patient with us! Doesn't look like much from the outside but I could care less what a restaurant looks like, the more important question is, how's the food??? I just moved into the neighborhood and was looking for some place quick to have breakfast and this popped up on my search. I ordered the eggs with home fries and turkey sausage. I didn't love the turkey sausage but the eggs were good and not over cooked. The home fries were my fav!!! It was slightly over salted but that didn't stop me from devouring it!!!! A lot of places in Florida serve home fries as fried potatoes or they're sometimes seasoned but Bob's makes it the traditional way, just like the diners in NY. Place is small with only 12 tables so I imagine breakfast on the weekend is tricky business if you don't get there early. Found this place via their reviews on Yelp. There was a short wait outside, undercover, on a Friday morning around 10:30 to get inside for breakfast. Once inside there was no sense of urgency to turn the tables over and we had a nice relaxing breakfast. There were 2 waitresses and 1 busser handling the room full of about 30 patrons. The food came out quick enough for the amount of people being served and the tables continued to turn over and the restaurant remained busy heading into the lunch hour. No sign of "Bob" on this visit (unless he was the one bussing the tables ?!?). We ordered 2 meals off the Seniors selection that were only $8 each and included 2 eggs, potatoes (or grits or fruit) along with toast and a beverage. A good deal and a nice serving for 8 bucks. If the grits has a little more liquid type consistency we would have enjoyed them more. Nice spot, not far from the airport, to stop and get some good home cooked breakfast on our way home after a long trip. read more

I've lived in this area for awhile now yet never been here. My dad and I both had the belly buster with corn beef hash. The portions were large and the flavors were good. Toast was dry but standard. My only thing was the service. Don't get me wrong they were friendly but our server never checked on us even once, after we got our food. The only person was this sweet lady who looked to be a bus girl and served drinks. The prices were affordable and the food was delicious! Just expected more from the server. read more

The store hours on Yelp, show that Bob's is open until 3 pm. Online we found Bob's to be open until 2 pm. The front of your door also says you're open until 2 pm. We hurried up to get to your restaurant as fast as we can while still driving safely. We get there at 1:48 pm and as soon as we open the door we're told, "Sorry we're closed already!" I said online it says you're open until 3 pm but we figured you're open until 2 pm. She replied, "We close at 1:45 pm." We were already there at 1:48 pm and there were multiple open tables as well. If you really do close at 1:45, I suggest changing your times on your door, Yelp and all online restaurant ordering apps. It's very disappointing to be turned away after changing your schedule to hurry up and get to your restaurant before the posted times say that you close. read more

We had breakfast here this morning. We luckily got in early enough to not have to wait. They get pretty busy pretty quick. We strolled through the menu, which for breakfast is relatively small. We each decided on our meals, I got the general Lee- a breakfast biscuit sandwich covered in gravy and side of potatoes. To be honest the potatoes were my favorite part!! They were kind of like a hay stack, I order extra crispy, and then buttery. The gravy had good flavor and the biscuit was good but a little too dense for my taste. We also got the special steak omelette with potato and toast, his home fires also my favorite part. The boys split the pancake breakfast with 2 eggs and meat. The pancakes were on the smaller side and fell apart a bit. Eggs and bacon and sausage were a nice size. I was a little surprised they didn't serve oatmeal, my youngest favorite item right now. As someone who is constantly searching for the perfect Eggs Benedict, I think I've found it!! The English Muffin is toasted to perfection with crunchy edges, the Canadian bacon is thicker than normal, the poached eggs were exactly as they should be - runny when cut into - and the hollandaise sauce was out of this world. Checking out some local eats in the area as we just moved here and this little gem is so refreshing to have. It truly is your down home diner in the middle of a somewhat busy city area. Nothing fancy about this place but the ambiance reminds you that it doesn't always have to be fancy to make you feel good. The food is diner food done exactly the way it should be. Once again no fancy flares or special sauces, just straight forward diner food. We've only had the breakfast items but we'll be back to eat through the menu!
