    Bob's Breakfast Sandwich
    Allison M.

Cute place, you can tell it is a small business. There was a little wait on a Sunday, but that makes sense considering it is right next to a Church. If you are coming on a Sunday, get there early! We had the Denver Omelette and added mushrooms, that was the best dish. The Bob's Breakfast Sandwich was good, but the Texas Toast it was served on made it almost too thick to bite into, but it was still good! The biscuits and gravy were nothing special. I wouldn't recommend them. The biggest complaint was the ketchup on the table. It had an open squirt bottle top, so you couldn't really shake well it to make sure that it was all combined before squirting it. So it came out really liquidy. It's a small thing in the grand scheme of things, but it is a major bummer when you want to have ketchup on your breakfast potatoes and it is just liquid on the plate.

Two eggs sunny-side up and 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy.

I found this restaurant on Yelp when nearby. It is a local, one-of-a-kind restaurant. The restaurant is relatively small. I went mid-morning on a weekday. They were very busy. I sat at the only remaining table. The restaurant was neat and clean. Nothing fancy. The service was excellent considering the number of diners. I just had coffee and a breakfast consisting of two eggs, sunny-side up and one half order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was covered with ample gravy. I enjoyed it. I would definitely go back.

Sooooo Gooooodddd!!!!! Ingredients are fresh! The food tastes really good! I had a veggie omelette and my hubby had the meat lovers one and both were really tasty! Terry, our waitress was very kind! Excellent place to have an american breakfast like old times!

Just a good old fashioned diner. Really good food served fast with friendly service. I had a half order of fluffy biscuits and gravy with two perfectly cooked over medium eggs and sausage patties. Wife had pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausage links. Everything was perfectly made and came to the table surprisingly fast.

One would never expect a diner in a strip mall to be all that, but Bob's Diner proved me wrong! It was set up like a typical diner. It was clean. I could tell from the interaction of the waitress with folks that were coming through the door that they have lots of regulars which is always a good sign. I ordered the turkey croissant sandwich which was the special for the day. And I had the pasta salad and New England clam chowder soup. My turkey sandwich was great! I'm a huge fan of using a croissant as bread for a sandwich lol. I put mayo on half and mustard on the other and I preferred the mustard along with this sandwich. I would highly recommend the pasta salad! It was deliscious! And I can't forget the clam chowder soup, yummy yummy yummy. Everything you're looking for in a soup, it was creamy with lots of clams and some potatoes. Our server was super friendly and patient with us! I told my niece we will definitely be stopping back through when I'm visiting her in Orlando again!

Hole in the wall diner Hoffner and Conway area. Super local, wait staff called 2 different customers by name while I was there. Place is small with only 12 tables so I imagine breakfast on the weekend is tricky business if you don't get there early. I had the usual lunch for me - BLT and fries and both were above average in both portion size and quality. I'll eat here again no doubt. Going 4.25 here.

The indoor space looks modern and lively, and the outdoor patio area gives it a really good vibe, especially at night. The food was surprisingly good across the board and definitely a step above typical bar food. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well portioned. The burgers and wings were excellent, the appetizers came out hot and fresh, and the brunch menu looked incredible too. You can tell they put actual effort into the menu instead of just serving generic frozen food like a lot of places do. The drinks and cocktails were also really solid and reasonably priced. Service was friendly the entire time and the staff did a great job keeping everything moving even while the restaurant was busy. It feels like the kind of place that works for almost any occasion -- watching sports, grabbing drinks with friends, brunch, date night, or just a casual dinner. Southern comfort food as a general rule just doesn't sit well with me anymore and I'm going to be very transparent and bare my soul a little bit here but here goes . . . Ever since being on GLP1's, I've developed a really complicated relationship with comfort food. Foods that are rich, buttery, creamy or fatty now hit me completely differently than they used to. It's almost like my body immediately goes into shutdown mode afterwards. I feel heavy, exhausted and like I've instantly ballooned even if the portions themselves aren't massive. For the longest time I honestly thought it was simply the richness of the food itself but now I realize it's because my digestion just can't process heavier comfort foods the same way anymore. Suddenly... it all makes sense. The food itself here is VERY good. Properly seasoned, well prepared, beautifully presented... absolutely no complaints there whatsoever. I simply have to become more mindful and strategic now with my menu selections no matter WHERE I dine. I chose the Creekstone Farm's NY Strip with the fabulous bone marrow which I KNOW is supposed to be incredibly nutrient rich and good for you... but honestly... it just about put me under afterwards. This dinner happened thanks to Ronnald M. and his sister Teris and it was our pre-opera dinner outing before seeing the fabulous Merry Widow at the Dr. Phillips Center. The Monroe is honestly a very good pre-concert restaurant choice because of both the atmosphere and location... I'm just personally learning that this new GLP1 reality means I can't approach menus the way I used to anymore.

I ordered both Strawberry and Creme brûlée Japanese Creme Sandos. They were both delicious, but my favorite was hands down the Creme brulee one. The bread on both were perfectly crispy and fresh. I do believe that they both could be improved. I think that the whipped cream on both could be a little sweeter. On the strawberry Sando, I think that the strawberry creme should have a little more strawberry infused in it as the strawberry flavor didn't fully come through. Since the whipped cream and strawberry cream weren't as sweet, the tart strawberry slices on top didn't have any contrast. I would definitely go back for the creme sandos and to try some of the regular food items as well!
