Half eaten Bob's Breakfast Sandwich w/ Hash Browns & Sausage

Definitely a very solid diner! I love breakfast but my main issue with eating out for breakfast is that it's usually much too expensive for the given portion. Not at Bob's! I think this is probably one of the cheapest real breakfasts (not fast food) I've eaten which was actually filling. I had 2 different servers coming to my table, which I thought was a little interesting but not an issue at all. Both were great and I suppose it ensured that we were seen very quickly, which I appreciated very much. I asked my first server if she recommended the breakfast sandwich or the french toast and she said it was too hard for her to personally choose but that more people order the sandwich. I was hopeful for the food and I ended up being a bit underwhelmed. The two pieces of bread were meant to be Texas toast, but its taste resembled lightly buttered toast (definitely not bad, but I expected more). The egg was just plain scrambled eggs, and the bacon wasn't anything special either. The sandwich, unfortunately, just tasted very mediocre with how much potential it had. The hash browns were pretty yummy, I would definitely recommend getting them for your side. However, the sausages were my favorite part of the meal. The sides were the stars of the show, but this gives me faith that maybe I just have to order a different entree next time. The atmosphere felt pretty friendly. There was a lot of 'coffee mom' type of decorations on the wall which I thought was fun. Everybody there (employees and customers) all seemed very comfortable, so the whole vibe was pretty chill. tldr; I recommend this place! Just maybe don't get Mr. Bob's breakfast sandwich. Bob's Diner is affordable for its portion sizes and the hash browns and sausages are yummy.

Cute place, you can tell it is a small business. There was a little wait on a Sunday, but that makes sense considering it is right next to a Church. If you are coming on a Sunday, get there early! We had the Denver Omelette and added mushrooms, that was the best dish. The Bob's Breakfast Sandwich was good, but the Texas Toast it was served on made it almost too thick to bite into, but it was still good! The biscuits and gravy were nothing special. I wouldn't recommend them. The biggest complaint was the ketchup on the table. It had an open squirt bottle top, so you couldn't really shake well it to make sure that it was all combined before squirting it. So it came out really liquidy. It's a small thing in the grand scheme of things, but it is a major bummer when you want to have ketchup on your breakfast potatoes and it is just liquid on the plate.

Two eggs sunny-side up and 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy.

I found this restaurant on Yelp when nearby. It is a local, one-of-a-kind restaurant. The restaurant is relatively small. I went mid-morning on a weekday. They were very busy. I sat at the only remaining table. The restaurant was neat and clean. Nothing fancy. The service was excellent considering the number of diners. I just had coffee and a breakfast consisting of two eggs, sunny-side up and one half order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was covered with ample gravy. I enjoyed it. I would definitely go back.

Sooooo Gooooodddd!!!!! Ingredients are fresh! The food tastes really good! I had a veggie omelette and my hubby had the meat lovers one and both were really tasty! Terry, our waitress was very kind! Excellent place to have an american breakfast like old times!

Just a good old fashioned diner. Really good food served fast with friendly service. I had a half order of fluffy biscuits and gravy with two perfectly cooked over medium eggs and sausage patties. Wife had pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausage links. Everything was perfectly made and came to the table surprisingly fast.

One would never expect a diner in a strip mall to be all that, but Bob's Diner proved me wrong! It was set up like a typical diner. It was clean. I could tell from the interaction of the waitress with folks that were coming through the door that they have lots of regulars which is always a good sign. I ordered the turkey croissant sandwich which was the special for the day. And I had the pasta salad and New England clam chowder soup. My turkey sandwich was great! I'm a huge fan of using a croissant as bread for a sandwich lol. I put mayo on half and mustard on the other and I preferred the mustard along with this sandwich. I would highly recommend the pasta salad! It was deliscious! And I can't forget the clam chowder soup, yummy yummy yummy. Everything you're looking for in a soup, it was creamy with lots of clams and some potatoes. Our server was super friendly and patient with us! I told my niece we will definitely be stopping back through when I'm visiting her in Orlando again!

The inside was nice, I liked the layout of the dining room , you didn't feel like you were on top of everyone. I had to give this place a 3 because the food was just ok. Nothing wowed me. I had the grouper and it was rather bland until I squeezed the lemon over it and even then it didnt taste that great. Although, I tried my friends chicken picatta and that was juicy and flavorful. We got theshort rib chips and mussels as apps and they were not great. The mussels were extra fishy and mushy and the short ribs were gray and didn't look appetizing. It just threw me off. I would probably only come back for the drinks which were delicious. The peach rita was sooo good. As well as the old fashioned. The espresso martini wasn't my favorite but the bartender offered to remake it to my liking which I greatly appreciated. The dessert was pretty good but kinda tasted like Publix chocolate cake, but I'm not mad at that. The key lime pie was good as well, but if you don't like lime zest I wouldn't recommend it. I really wanted to like this place but the food was just subpar. I would go back for the drinks or happy hour. They have weekly specials that looked good . The staff was so attentive and friendly and made up for the food.

Two Words . . VERY…read moreRICH I keep forgetting that this restaurant is essentially serving Southern style comfort food in an upscale setting. Southern comfort food as a general rule just doesn't sit well with me anymore and I'm going to be very transparent and bare my soul a little bit here but here goes . . . Ever since being on GLP1's, I've developed a really complicated relationship with comfort food. Foods that are rich, buttery, creamy or fatty now hit me completely differently than they used to. It's almost like my body immediately goes into shutdown mode afterwards. I feel heavy, exhausted and like I've instantly ballooned even if the portions themselves aren't massive. For the longest time I honestly thought it was simply the richness of the food itself but now I realize it's because my digestion just can't process heavier comfort foods the same way anymore. Suddenly... it all makes sense. The food itself here is VERY good. Properly seasoned, well prepared, beautifully presented... absolutely no complaints there whatsoever. I simply have to become more mindful and strategic now with my menu selections no matter WHERE I dine. I chose the Creekstone Farm's NY Strip with the fabulous bone marrow which I KNOW is supposed to be incredibly nutrient rich and good for you... but honestly... it just about put me under afterwards. This dinner happened thanks to Ronnald M. and his sister Teris and it was our pre-opera dinner outing before seeing the fabulous Merry Widow at the Dr. Phillips Center. The Monroe is honestly a very good pre-concert restaurant choice because of both the atmosphere and location... I'm just personally learning that this new GLP1 reality means I can't approach menus the way I used to anymore.

Not in what you would say is the greatest location. Just not in the place you'd think a restaurant would be. That's not a negative just found it interesting. We were seated right away and opted for outside dining. You can see a lake across the street but if parking is full it's kinda blocked. But we really liked the vibe there. Laid back. Had some music going. We enjoyed eating out there. All of our meals were excellent. I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich (yum). We also got the mexi-cal bowl and the fajitas. They both were also yummy. We decided for the s'mores as dessert. We figured they'd bring out already made s'mores. But no. They bring you out the chocolate the marshmallows and the graham crackers and you cook it right there at your table with this mini fire thingy. It was good. The only thing I would have changed is that they brought out the chocolate ice cold so it didn't melt too well. But it was good. The star of our experience was our waiter. He was awesome. Very attentive, always keeping our drinks filled and super friendly. Having a great waiter just puts good meals over the top. Wish I would have grabbed his name so I could give him a shout out here. But he was working the outside tables on Saturday Apollo 18. Great job man. Overall, give this place a shot. Unique dishes that satisfies the taste buds. We'll be back.
