I recently visited CFS Coffee and had a lovely experience. It's a small café with a very cozy, friendly atmosphere and charming décor that immediately makes you feel comfortable. I had the avocado toast topped with fried eggs, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was very flavorful. The matcha was excellent, and my co-mother-in-law had the coffee, which she said was very good as well. The only small detail was that we asked for the egg yolks to be a little runny, but they came out more cooked than expected. However, that didn't take away from the overall experience. The taste of the food, the service, the cleanliness, and the atmosphere were all wonderful--truly wonderful. It's a perfect place to meet a friend for coffee or enjoy a small breakfast. They also offer several sweet treats and other options, including Venezuelan and Colombian specialties like arepas and pan de bono. Stopped by CFS Coffee and honestly loved it. Both the food and the coffee were amazing. You can tell the quality is there in the taste, and it's absolutely a place I plan to come back to. I ordered one of their in-house coffees based on a staff recommendation (I always ask when trying a new spot), and the Farmer's Coffee did not disappoint. Smooth, well-balanced, and just really well made. The food was just as good. Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you want with a good cup of coffee. I also think this is a great spot for casual working. The interior can get a bit noisy at times since they seem to get a lot of traffic, which is great for the business but something to keep in mind if you're looking for a super quiet space. That said, they do offer outdoor seating, which I opted for and really enjoyed. It was the perfect setup. Staff was super friendly and helpful, which always makes the experience even better. Stay away Unless you like $10.00 coffee and bad business practice and crappy service. The service is ok at best but I keep having issues with the way the business is run. I never saw these kinds of fees and I'm pro business but come on. 1 pump,of syrup $1.50 To,go,fee $.25 that should be a discount. Oatmilk for a medium latte $1.50 The it had the nerve to set the minimum tip at $1.50 on the checkout system. I had to do a custom tip to do $1 to keep under 10$. And I normally tip more but wtf. On top of that I had ordered a muffin on a previous visit and they microwaved it when they heated it up. I told the, I wanted a new one. They made a huge deal about it. I said you can't microwave a muffin. It ruins it and if you told me that how you were going heat it I would;d have got,it room temp. I had a strange experience this week at CFS. I thought I had found the perfect little place to get coffee, it actually reminded me of my time living in France. I'd started telling my friends about it and I was going there almost daily with a buddy of mine who liked the place as well. I went there this past week carrying my $300 leather backpack, ordered my drink, and sat at one of the outside tables. The shop was not busy on this particular day and there were only about 5 people, including my buddy and I, sitting outside. The ground was wet and I was a bit concerned about it but there was another patron sitting at the table behind me with an open seat at his table but I did not want to disturb him. As soon as he left I put my backpack in the empty chair right behind me as the table was now empty figuring if someone needed the chair or the table I would immediately move my bag. After about 5 minutes the hostess from inside came and told me the owner/manger sent her out to ask me to remove my bad from the empty chair. At first I thought she was joking but when I realized she wasn't I immediately removed my bag and held it in my lap. That table and 2 or three others remained empty while we were there. We left shortly after that and I will certainly never go back. I've told my friends about what happened to see if I'm missing something but they are equally confused. This is probably a minor thing but the little things sometimes make the biggest differences. I still don't understand what the owners problem was, maybe it was me. His store his rules, I don't have a problem with that, but I've traveled to almost every state in the US and to several foreign countries and I have never been asked to remove my bag from an empty chair outside of a cafe. Never going back and neither will my small tribe. read more

Being very close to my workplace, I went with my colleague to grab something for breakfast. My colleague grabbed a coffee while I decided to try their banana bread (about 4.50). I wasn't sure if it homemade, but I saw it displayed in the case. I took it back to my office. It was warmed up as requested. While it wasn't as moist as I wanted, it was still a decent banana bread. It was sweet with a some banana slices added and seemed to have poppy seeds as well. It was ample portioned and filling enough for breakfast/snack. It looked to be equivalent to Starbucks quality and prices. The attendant at the counter was friendly and quick to get our order completed, knowing that many were working in the office nearby. The shop is small, but still has some seats and it looked inviting. For a quick breakfast near my office, I found it to be good for the price paid. I stopped here a few minutes before getting on the road after going to brunch. I asked a few questions to the person, taking orders behind the counter and decided on the farmers latte. I prefer iced drinks so I got it iced of course. The drink consisted of housemade syrup, cinnamon, and clovers. I had asked for a little extra syrup, thinking it will make the drink a little sweeter, but that wasn't necessarily the case. All in all, it was a pretty decent drink the clovers were pretty strong. Super adorable little coffee shop situated in Hannibal Square! This cozy shop was our first stop on our Orlando trip and it was the perfect place to start. We arrived as soon as it opened and easily found parking and seating inside. I loved the overall vibe of this coffee shop with its lounge area with pillows and scattered tables & benches. The staff were very kind and provided us with great recommendations. I ended up ordering the avocado toast with two eggs along with a mocha latte and my bf got a croissant sandwich and coffee. The food was tasty but unfortunately there was an issue with my toast that left me waiting about an extra 10 minutes after my bf received his food. The portions were huge, I couldn't finish the plate all by myself. The mocha was also absolutely DELICIOUS, by far one of the best I've had and the design on top was the perfect touch. I wanted terribly to buy one of their cute mugs but they were $35!! Which is just a bit too much out of my price range but still so cute. This cafe is definitely a cute spot to meet up with friends and maybe do some light studying. Luckily, as we were leaving a big group of girls came in speaking very loudly so we got to enjoy our meal in peace. I was a little disappointed there weren't different types of black coffee to choose from. The black coffee wasn't anything out of the ordinary. First time trying CFS Coffee! I see all the different branches around FL and decided to stop by this Winter Park location. This was tucked in the downtown area and had plenty of parking. Lots of staff were available and everyone was incredibly friendly. Decor is cute, service is quick, and food was amazing! Arepa was served hot and crispy, so much flavor. Same goes for the protein açaí bowl- I think it was one of the best I've had and I loved how they had options to use almond butter! I didn't get a picture of my dulce de leche latte with vanilla cold foam, but OMG. I loved it! Everything was literally so good. Sad thing is they nickel and dime you everything, which I think is a huge turn off. I understand costs are increasing but they need to take into consideration the impression on the customer. Latte is already over $6, then if you want it to-go, add 25 cents. If you want it iced, add 25 cents. I have never been anywhere they up-charged me to make a latte iced. read more

CFS Coffee is an amazing experience! First, I love the look of the building. It just invites you in to enjoy a great cup of coffee and relax. I enjoyed meeting up with my brother and some friends here. I savor the experience and can't wait to go back. Second, I like that the name stands for Coffee for the Soul. The staff work hard to make sure that you have the best experience. This franchise has eight locations but somehow they manage to make you feel like it's a warm and friendly mom and pop coffee shop. Third, they specialize in Colombian coffee. Wow, do they get it right. The last time I had Colombian coffee this good I was sitting in the kitchen of my Colombian neighbors condo in Miami back in the 80's. It's a quaint little cafe. The pesto omelette was good but eggs weren't fluffy and had a bit too much pesto. I wanted to try their empanadas but they looked not quite baked? so wasn't sure if maybe they bake them as you order? Skipped trying them. Service is fine nothing stood out. We were looking for a nice nearby coffee shop with indoor seating so we could relax and this was our third choice. One was closed. Two had no parking. Three was the winner! We got lucky and found a parallel parking spot right outside. The inside was reasonably spacious, very clean and had two proper bathrooms. Air conditioning was nice too! We selected one of the few tables and my wonderful wife sat down. I proceeded to order at the counter. My eyes immediately saw the rainbow latte on the menu and I ordered it sight unseen for my wife. I was hoping it would be colorful or flavorful or both! It turned out to be both and incredibly beautiful! Wow! We were blown anyway. A work of art in coffee preparation! I came in here for a quick coffee and was really pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere here. They had a really cool couch lounge area which was perfect for enjoying their coffee. I ordered an iced americano and it was really great and made to order. They were not the most friendly staff, but the coffee was good so that was important. It's situated just west of Hannibel Square in a very walkable area of Winter Park. They have inside and outside seating as well. They do serve food but I have. The empanadas were very hard and the dough just didn't have any flavor. I was so looking forward to this and was super disappointed. Their chai latte was amazing though. Arepas are decent portion and good. We ended up sitting outside and I placed the order inside. When one of the plates arrived the waiter said the other order was to go right? And I said no we're sitting outside you can bring it out now. When I paid for the check and looked at the receipt later I saw that they charged $.25 cents for to go?! Wtf?! First off tell me there's a charge or just include it in the price and second I didn't have my order Togo so not sure why they are slipping in fees here and there. Accidentally stumbled on this coffee shop in a part of Winter Park I have yet to explore. This part is quiet and lovely with not too many shops or people, mostly just some restaurants and this lovely coffee shop. What a cute and quiet shop! They have a wonderful selection of snacks, pastries and empanadas. I got the carbonara and cheese empanadas to go with my lavender latte. The empanadas were lovely! The pastry was crispy and delicious. The empanadas were filled generously with their respective fillings. The carbonara one had delicious shredded chicken! The latte was love and refreshing! I find it crazy that a coffee shop/bakery isn't even selling their own stuff but stuff that they buy at Costco and mark up 10x. Decided to stop by and get a good cup of coffee, while we waited to get a friend from the hospital close by. It had been on my list of places to try, but we had a better experience at the location in Lake Nona. The staff is friendly, nice and will answer any questions you may have. The shop is pretty small with outside seating, but if you want to sit inside it may be a bit tough. We got there early, so it worked out for us. We ordered large lattes with skim milk, a cookie and a breakfast sandwich. The cookie was good but a bit cold from being stored. The breakfast sandwich was the highlight of the meal. We got the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant and it was yummy and soft. The coffee was good but it was dissapointing to get a latte at lukewarm temperature! Coffee is supposed to be hot, if I wanted cold coffee I would had ordered an iced coffee. We were in a rush to eat and get back, so I did not have a chance to ask to have it remade. I am not sure if I may come back to this location, but may give another one a try. read more

Cute place in a rather tucked away corner of WP. I inquired about one of the coffees on the menu and the person behind the counter explained but then as they told me the different components (milk options, etc) it wasn't entirely clear that all these options were for an additional cost so my expected $5 coffee ended up costing $7 by the time I got tax and whatever added, and that didn't include what you should add for tip, I understand costs are going up and we need to get with the times, but I would suggest making it clear to someone who is asking for details to provide all the details including up charges. The coffee was nice, and the space is really nice, very cozy. Was it worth the cost? Meh, not sure. But I'd like to go back to try some food options because they looked really yummy, I'll probably stick to a basic drink and be sure to ask about up charges next time. read more

Love love love CFS and especially this location. It's very peaceful in the morning and there's plenty of street parking. The staff is friendly and I love sipping my morning coffee here or posting up to get some work done for a bit. Highly recommend the Caribbean arepa. You won't be disappointed!!
