    Banana pudding matcha latte

I stopped by True Coffee and tried the banana pudding iced matcha latte, and WOW. It was sooo good--perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and you could really taste the banana pudding flavor come through without overpowering the matcha. The service was just as impressive. The staff was warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. I also really appreciated how spacious and inviting the interior was--plenty of seating and a calm vibe that makes it easy to hang out or get some work done. It's really hard working at a crowded or really loud coffee shop--this one had a great balance. This was my first visit, but definitely won't be my last. I've already recommended this place to a few friends and they're excited to try it. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

I am always looking for coffee shops to try and came around this one on social media! shop is modern, spacious, has plenty of seating and they are welcoming! I like the fact that I could taste the espresso in my latte and it was smooth and warm. It sure was a good cup. Give them a try if you are around the area!

We stopped at True coffee, and we were absolutely blown away! From the moment we walked in, the industrial modern vibe sets the perfect tone, stylish, clean, and welcoming! We tried the banana chocolate chip muffin(moist, and full of flavor) a citrus spice latte and a lavender Matcha. Each drink was unique, perfectly balanced and clearly crafted with care. The breakfast burrito was packed with fresh ingredients and seriously satisfying. This two brother owned gem goes above and beyond! The food and coffee were both outstanding and the passion behind the counter is evident in every bite and sip. If we could give 5 stars we would, and we are! Highly recommended True coffee: for anyone who appreciates quality, creativity, and a great atmosphere. Apopka is 'MOVIN' ON UP' with these new places!

If you want a successful coffee shop, you must make great coffee, ahead of food and they have got this dialed in. I have never had a mocha like this ever. The texture and balance were perfect. It's a 10 all the way. They have a limited menu and plan to expand it but for now run do not walk to get your coffee!

Absolutely love True Coffee! We've been many times and love it! (Picture from a fall event hosted by True Coffee)

Black Americano. Not bitter, perfect with subtle notes of sweetness. This isn't your Starbucks cup of tea. This is truly good coffee.

Seth the coffee was amazing. The smells in both the store and my car made it even better. I will definitely be back. Your customer service was amazing. I would highly highly recommend this for anyone looking for good quality true coffee.

This is without a doubt the best coffee you are going to have in Apopka. The owners are so nice and welcoming, and their coffee drinks and even their matcha are exceptionally well done. It's a quiet space for working, reading etc. and you never feel rushed or unwelcome. The new summer drink menu is not to be missed!!

This is the beautiful door to get in. Such a great photo spot

This place is the ultimate work from home coffee shop. They have outlets everywhere and lots of seating. Their staff is was really makes this place though. Everyone was so incredibly nice and happy to see us and take our order. I got a macchiato with vanilla and honey. It tasted so good. I basically chugged it. They also had the most beautiful bouquets of flowers and I couldn't resist my self. This was our first time here and I loved it. I'm excited to be back soon.

Best matcha in Apopka! Hands down! A small and homey spot, loved the vibe. The owners are the sweetest people ever

Maple Pecan Latte and Pumpkin Toffee Latte

Great ambiance, good coffee, and killer pastries! Really enjoyed talking to the owners as well.

They have a great space to work remotely with a nice clean aesthetic. The coffee was good and you can tell they take their time making each cup.

It's only 3 minutes from my house and it is officially my new favorite spot This wonderful family-owned Guatemalan coffee shop has so many amazing options for coffee and teas -- there's truly something for everyone. Everything tastes fresh and made with care. They also offer small brunch specials like delicious sandwiches, which makes it the perfect cozy stop in the morning or afternoon. The best part? The flavors are big and bold but well balanced and nuanced. From teas to coffees they have something for everyone. The service is always on point and they are so helpful and friendly. If I'm ever stuck in what to order they have never steered me wrong! Sit for a while or grab and go, but make sure you take a picture at their photo wall. The coffee they use is top tier and they ethically source their beans (which if I remember correctly it's their family's farm as well.) It's the only place we buy our whole beans for home brewing. I'm not a coffee person but Calypso's coffee is so good I happily order it over a tea. If you haven't had the chance to check them out do yourself a favor and go! You'll be rewarded with something delicious and you can't get anywhere else.

Overall, I did find it expensive for what you get, and I feel there is some criticism here they need to accept: #1 - What we were served looked nothing like the pictures from the first 2 years they were open, in which the desserts are about 60% flavored ice and 40% toppings. What we got was about 97% shaved ice and 3% toppings. (Also, no whipped cream on the polar affogato). #2 - There is a teeny tiny sign on the back wall that you can barely read that states that all orders have a 10% gratuity automatically included. This sign is NOT visible from the cash register, and is 8 get away in 14-16 pt font. Clearly they don't want customers to see it.. Additionally, their POS system is asking you to add gratuity, even though they're already secretly auto-charging you 10% gratuity. That is flat-out disgusting. There was very little labor/time involved. So on top of the high prices, with greatly reduced toppings, they are encouraging people to pay upwards of 30% gratuity? For $8 flavored ice ready in 3 minutes? To make it worse, I'm sure the people working were the owners. Proprietors shouldnt be accepting or soliciting ANY tips at all.

No exterior sign at all. Found my way inside and it took a few moments to be acknowledged. That's ok, baristas were busy, I get it. I was slightly underwhelmed at the dark interior. It was no where near as clean or charming as I had expected. Once greeted, I asked if I could have my Americano in a mug instead of a to-go cup. [Insert confused face here]. Apparently this was a tough request. Once we cleared this up, payment was processed and I took a seat at a booth. Coffee order was brought out in a small plastic cup. Yes- plastic cups. Mmmm, hot liquid served in plastic is my fav. (I'm kidding of course) worse yet, the coffee was straight up awful. Truly, it was bad and I hate to even say this. I know a small biz needs all the love it can get and I REALLY wanted to love this place. I even had an extra shot of espresso added and this drink wasn't even as good as a gas station. I'm a huge espresso lover. I have a fancy machine at home but I love to support coffee shops when I'm out running errands. There are very rare times that I have negative comments. Sadly, this was one of those rare occasions. On the bright side- clean restrooms & fun art on the walls. And I was able to snap some cute shots with a retro filter.

The service was okay, employees refused to speak English which is fine, thankfully I speak Spanish but I'm thinking about other clients who their only language is English. We ordered a cachapa, empanada, and burger. Everything came out at different times and the burger took almost 30 minutes. We were kind of in a rush, so a heads up about the burger would've been nice. They also ask for 20-25% tip which I think is too much considering we pick up after ourselves and get up to get our own napkins, utensils, sugars, etc. I work in the service industry and I only ask myself if they're getting paid below minimum wage. Obviously I still leave a tip because I appreciate what they do, it would just be greedy if the owners are paying their workers below minimum wage. Enough yapping, we ordered the cachapa with cheese, which came out cold and crumbly, it looked beautiful but the flavor was not there, I've tried many cachapas and by far this one was the least pleasant to eat. The burger didn't taste authentic at allll. It felt like more bread than anything. The empanada did not taste authentic at all, it was like the filling barely had any potatoes, it just felt like the flavors were not there at all. I will continue to order these items at my local Colombian restaurant, where they never fail. The best part of my visit was their latte, it was soooo good and made my day so much better. My son also got a reindeer cookie which he loved, it was beautiful. I cannot say I'll be back anytime soon, I'll definitely be open to trying them out again and seeing if maybe the experience will be better and not only about aesthetics or how pretty everything looks, but on flavor and authenticity.
