At first, we thought this sizeable coffee shop would be a dream come true, but as time went on, we had to deduct some stars. We were greated right away by who we assumed was the owner, and she was a complete sweetheart - our waitress on the other hand... well, we got the vibe that we were bothering her by asking questions and simply being there. Their menu has a photo and description of a bread bowl, turns out they don't carry that anymore and don't even have anything sourdough to pair with a soup. When the alternate soup came out, it wasn't even filled to the top, giving the impression it wasn't full. The pretzel sandwich was good and their vanilla cold brew was delicious and inexpensive. Sadly, the young, seemingly unknowledgeable waitress, put a damper on the experience. Overall, a huge place, clean bathroom, rather inexpensive beverages and food, and somewhere I could be convinced to try again.

I have to start this review by raving about the service- all around phenomenal! Our server Andre was so attentive, kind, and helpful. He was patient with us navigating the menu our first time and gave helpful suggestions. The interior definitely had a more vintage coffee shop vibe, with both couches and tables and different areas to lounge in. I loved that though it was a pretty full house, it wasn't loud and the room was so calm! There was even an event going out in their back meeting space! The food was pretty good, but definitely a hit or miss. I got the P 3 Protein Wrap which was amazing! The flavor profile of that item was incredible. The other 2 items we got, the Breakfast Biscuit and the Banana Pecan Pancakes, were a miss. As for the coffee, it was tasty, but wayyyyy too sweet. I got the Irish Eyes with half the sweetness, and it was still really sweet. My friend tried the Nutty Irish Lady and said the same about it being overly sweet. If you are not a sweet coffee drinker, I'd definitely recommend adjusting the sweetness to maybe 1/4 of their standard. Overall, I would be open to coming back, trying more items, and just hanging out at this spot. Thanks for my experience!

Always looking for local coffee shops to work from. This place has a large space, reliable internet and power outlets. The coffee is decent. The food isn't fancy but that's not the point anyway! can definitely stay here all day get coffee and have a well balanced meal! The employees are very nice! If I lived closer, I'd be a regular!

We just moved to this area and we've been on the hunt for a coffee spot! There is plenty of parking in front of Boston Coffee, which is always a plus for me. Boston not only serves coffee, but they also have a full breakfast menu and offer sit-down service. We sat on the comfy couches and one of the servers took our order. We got some cappuccinos & breakfast sandwiches with hash brown patties! I loveee when a place has hash browns! There are lots of seating options and the music provided a relaxing ambiance. We will most definitely be back to Boston Coffee!

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!! i just ordered a sandwich and pasta salad and they served me boiled macaroni with olives and no dressing. what the fuck is that? it has NO SEASONING! i'm so grossed out

What actually came as my sandwich
Curtis W.

Ordered the turkey rueben, which on the website pictures looks relatively substantial, at least a half inch of ingredients and meat that was about 2 inches wide. On the item that arrived they put one thin deli slice, like transparently thin piece of meat on the sandwich that was about 2 inches long by one inch wide. It didn't even cover the middle of the bread, let alone go near the edges. The "sandwich" was two pieces of store bag wheat bread and less than a quarter ounce of ingredients. Do not buy food from here!

I love Boston Coffee House. I used to go to the Deland location all the time when I was in college and now I got to the Altamonte Springs location since it's by my house. The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. The service is amazing and the staff are incredible. The menu is so unique and has great variety. I got the Irish Eyes coffee and the Boston Breakfast Biscuit. The coffee was rich and had a great Irish whiskey flavor. The biscuit had fluffy egg and tons of onion jam. This is always a great experience!

Don't be in a hurry for an eggnog latte togo. It will take at least 15 minutes. Unacceptable.

A big coffeeshop with thier own blends. The brew coffee I tried has a burnt taste and I did not like it. Thr P3 wrap is very delicuous. They have a extensive and unique menu of speciality coffee drinks. Also, they have wide selction of wraps and sandwiches. There are lot of tables and sofas to relax and njoy your coffee or drinks. Service is very friendly and courtwous. They will bring the items to where ever you sit. They sell all thier blends and costs 10$ per 1/4 pound now. They also sell thier mugs.

Big on the inside. Nice ambiance. Prob need some speakers in the ceiling but, you could hear it from behind the counter. Definitely feels like Boston with the wooden decor and brick. Dessert and bagel options are great! I wanted the chicken cranberry Sandwhich and then the cashier asked me if I was hungry. I said, " well yes." And then he said that that Sandwhich only had a small piece of chicken on it. Then I asked about something else and he said the same...and tried to get me to do one of the salad sandwiches which, I wasn't interested in. I switched to breakfast to get the French toast panini with sausage. If even the employees aren't impressed with the AMOUNT of food offered, maybe it's time to change it up and get better ingredients and make the sandwiches bigger and better like the photos. The service was good and all the employees were really nice though. I would say the food is more of like an elevated Starbucks. I liked the French toast but thought it should be a little thicker and crisp beer on the edges. It's possible that the food is microwaved like the egg and sausage but like I said, it's not technically a big restaurant.

I got an egg and cheese croissant with a vanilla cold brew. The coffee was delicious and the food came out super fast. Inside is a comforbe vibe with couches that makes you feel at home!

I've seen them all over social media and definitely wanted to give them a try. If I wasn't so full from blaze, I would've got some of their cream puffs they looked absolutely amazing. I did decided to get a cookies and cream latte, which I feel like their pricing isn't bad, especially for the quality. My drink was good, the coffee was smooth and the cold foam on top with the cookies really was a nice touch. I'll definitely be back to try one of their cream puffs and or other cute pastries.

Bright, clean, and dialed in with pastries that actually look as good as they photograph. You walk in thinking you'll make a quick, responsible choice. Two minutes later you're staring at the case like you're drafting a fantasy team. We went with the cream puff and that was the right move. Light, airy, not overly sweet, and gone in about three bites flat. No notes. Tried the crème brûlée pastry too. Points for creativity all day. It's a cool concept and well executed, just didn't hit the same level as the cream puff. Still good, just not the headliner. And the iced tea deserves a mention. Strong. Like, actually strong. Not the watered-down afterthought you get at most spots. This one shows up with purpose. Overall, easy four stars. Fun stop, great vibe, and a menu that keeps things interesting without trying too hard. Just don't kid yourself into thinking you're only ordering one thing. That plan falls apart immediately.

No exterior sign at all. Found my way inside and it took a few moments to be acknowledged. That's ok, baristas were busy, I get it. I was slightly underwhelmed at the dark interior. It was no where near as clean or charming as I had expected. Once greeted, I asked if I could have my Americano in a mug instead of a to-go cup. [Insert confused face here]. Apparently this was a tough request. Once we cleared this up, payment was processed and I took a seat at a booth. Coffee order was brought out in a small plastic cup. Yes- plastic cups. Mmmm, hot liquid served in plastic is my fav. (I'm kidding of course) worse yet, the coffee was straight up awful. Truly, it was bad and I hate to even say this. I know a small biz needs all the love it can get and I REALLY wanted to love this place. I even had an extra shot of espresso added and this drink wasn't even as good as a gas station. I'm a huge espresso lover. I have a fancy machine at home but I love to support coffee shops when I'm out running errands. There are very rare times that I have negative comments. Sadly, this was one of those rare occasions. On the bright side- clean restrooms & fun art on the walls. And I was able to snap some cute shots with a retro filter.
