Delicious food, but long wait! My friends and I dined in here yesterday for brunch and I decided on an iced latte and the BLT waffle. The iced latte wasn't my favorite but it got the job done. I ordered an iced latte with almond milk and honey and cinnamon, and the honey was compiled at the bottom rather than being melted underneath the espresso. My friends ordered a burrito and one of the rice bowls and I ordered the BLT waffle. It took over 30 minutes for our food to come out and once it arrived, my BLT waffle did not have any bacon on it. I notified the staff and then they brought out the bacon shortly after. Everything was delicious and we cleaned our plates. Our only complaint was the long wait time, but my friend said that that was pretty typical for this location. I will gladly come back and try more menu items! The patio area was very peaceful with lounge chairs and umbrellas and was very aesthetically pleasing. read more

Food was delicious! I was over joyed with how yummy this place was. The Colombian breakfast burrito and the Calentao were the stars of the show. The meat was delicious. I loved the yuca in the burrito. Can't wait to come back and get this again! Coffee was okay, I've had better but not the worst. Service was okay, however it took a long time to receive our order. Likely over 30 minutes. Would recommend ordering online, which I did the last time I visited and was given my food immediately. Very cute coffee shop. Plenty of seating inside and out. Let's talk coffee first. They had a great menu with many options. But I can be basic when it comes to coffee so I ordered an iced vanilla latte. It was good. They offer a few sugar free syrup options and they have alternative milk options. I think next time I will try something else on their menu. Now let's talk food because it's not just coffee and pastries they have a breakfast menu with different options like breakfast sandwiches to avocado toast. I had the avocado toast and thought it was pretty good. It's wasn't heavy on the avocado (very thin layer) which is my only note. They had a variety of pastries which all looked delicious. Will have to come back and try the one that was plantain based. Customers service is as good. They brought our drinks and food to us. The cafe space itself was great. Looks of seating and a variety of seating from indoors and outdoor including swings in the outside patio. Overall definitely a place to try out. read more

Located in the Ellington apartment complex, CFS is peacefully picture perfect! There is plenty of seating as well as cute little pillows and benches on some of the tables. The glassware that the coffee comes in is absolutely gorgeous. I passed by on a pretty quiet Saturday morning to grab a coffee and catch up with a friend. It's definitely the type of environment where you can have some deep conversations and not be interrupted. I got a pistachio latte and a pan de bono which were both really good! I drove by this place and was curious on what it was all about. It's located in the same plaza as The Ellington apartments so there's plenty of parking available depending on what time of day you go. It was super quiet inside the cafe which made it a great place to sit down and get some work done. The staff was able to ring my order up quickly and bring my coffee and food over. I ended up getting a cafe con leche with caramel flavoring and a cheese empanada! The coffee was delicious, however the empanada shell was tougher than expected and didn't have a lot of cheese inside of it. I also ordered banana bread and got the sweet plantain bread but that was actually still pretty tasty! They do have plenty of other pastries available so I'd like to try those out next! read more

Attended a painting event in CFS Oviedo and it was super fun! We didn't eat anything since we had lunch right before the event but we did order drinks. Cute coffee shop! They have many locations around the central Florida area but today I visited the Oviedo location. This is a very spacious coffee shop compared to many others in the area. Plenty of retail parking spots outside and so many tables, couches and chairs to sit in on the inside. I walked right up to the counter and ordered my drink. They did not appear to have any specials or seasonal beverages which I was bummed about, so I just ordered an iced americano with a splash of cream and sugar free hazelnut. They had a few sugar free syrup options which I appreciate. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered my drink "for here" so I got a number and found a table before they brought my drink out to me. I paid around $9 for the coffee (with a 20% tip) which is a little high but it was decent coffee. I would want to come back and try their pastries as they looked delicious! read more

I usually enjoy coming to CFS Coffee. The coffee is always great and the food is good, which is why I visit about four times a month. Unfortunately, my experience today around 1:20 PM was very disappointing because of the manager's behavior. I had ordered a Salmon Benedict online, but when I arrived the manager told me they didn't have it. I politely asked if it could be changed to a veggie omelette instead. When it came time to pay, I asked if he could either reimburse the Salmon Benedict or refund the price difference. He immediately said he couldn't do either. I asked if he could check with someone who could help, and he said he was the manager and that there was nothing he could do. I then asked if he could contact a supervisor to resolve the issue, especially since I'm a regular customer. At that point he became very upset and started raising his voice, telling me not to talk to him that way and asking me to go away. I was there with my 2-year-old son, so I stepped aside while he called the supervisor. The supervisor was able to process the refund without any issue. When I pointed out that it was possible to fix the situation, the manager continued speaking to me in an angry tone. I'm disappointed because the coffee shop itself is great, but customer service--especially from a manager--should never make a customer feel unwelcome, particularly when they're simply asking for a fair solution. This coffee shop is super cute, I'm currently on my studying season and I found this little shop while in the area looking for places to study at. They have a great interior and comfortable. They do have plenty of outdoor space as well. They have many variety of coffees and food items. I actually tried their Carmel coffee and avocado egg white croissant with bacon which was just delicious. It is not filling but if you aren't so hungry then it's perfect. The cost of everything I believe was 16 bucks. After being their two hours you can see as the day goes on they become busy. read more

Truly some of the nicest and most engaging barista's I've ever encountered. The place was beautiful and clean with hand sanitizer on every table with tons of Columbian influenced artwork, wood features and relaxing vibes... But we had to reconfirm our 2 coffees order 3x and they still came out for here instead of Togo. So the picture is my wife's mixed up rainbow lavender latte. It tastes great but in 2 sips her tongue and teeth match the color and vibrancy. Way too much dye in this drink. Outstanding coffee spot. I had not previously been to CFS coffee been twice to this location now which is conveniently near my home. I love the environment here, it is peaceful and comfortable both inside and out. CFS stands for "Coffee for the Soul".....I think that is an adequate vibe they provide. The first time I was here I had a Latte & an apple pastry, sitting outside on the quaint patio meeting an old friend, While the second time I stopped by with my son and ate a spinach quiche with my son (also a Latte again!). The Lattes were tasty, while I enjoy the big brand coffees around town, I definitely love these authentic lattes at a place like this. The food was great and was not over the top. Its is a perfect stop for coffee and a bite. The place is counter service to order and the order is brought to you. The staff here seemed friendly and helpful. I will be back even more! read more

Love love love this spot! Located right across the street from Oviedo on the Park sits what looks like lovely apartments but right below is this gem of a coffee shop/cafe. The ambiance is exactly what you want in a little shop, you have outdoor seating, indoor dining, and a few nooks and comfortable lounge areas. If you are bringing a baby- they do have high chairs, they are located in the back by the bathrooms. I wish someone advised me upon arriving with my giant stroller and during my meal (I didn't find out until the end when I went to use the restroom). It was quite uncomfortable holding my 8 month old while feeding him, eating my food, and sipping my coffee. But it's all good. I know now for next time! The food is excellent and the coffee superb. We ordered the mocha cappuccino, yucca waffle and the breakfast sandwich on a croissant . Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. We will definitely be coming back again! read more

The banana bread was really good best I've ever had. The avocado toast was yummy as long as u add salt and pepper. The food is very bland. My boyfriend got ube coffee he said it was okay coffee. I got a smoothie was extremely bland but made with healthy ingredients so I was ok with it. I asked for my eggs cooked sunny side up the bottom was burnt and crunchy, with black parts that tasted burnt and the yolk was mostly cooked was disappointed but at-least it came with avocado toast that was good. Would be better if the avocado spread was seasoned tho. My boyfriend got this waffle breakfast sandwhich the waffles weren't fully cooked and really doughy. He didn't even want to finish his meal. Pretty disappointing for the price point. We spent about $58. The atmosphere was nice tho. Took awhile to receive our food. Drinks came timely manner. Oh also don't get the side of bacon it came with 2 really tiny pieces of bacon on a big plate LOL was crunchy though. read more

This place is a non chain coffee shop (I assume) that's more low key and quiet. Usually isn't too busy when I've been in there. The people serving are friendly and it has couches and chairs for you to relax and have a cup or 3. Coffee is a little pricey in my opinion, but hey what isn't in 2024. We decided to try CFS for breakfast on Sunday. From the time you walk in it is very welcoming and the staff was friendly. It was not crowded at 8am so it was nice and peaceful. We ordered the traditional black coffee, which we found out comes with free refills so that was a score! For food we got the Caprese Omelet with roasted potatoes and the egg white sandwich on an arepa. The food came out quickly and with a smile, and it looked fantastic. Everything tasted really good, even the potatoes were flavorful. The only reason this is not 5 stars is because the plates were so cold, the omelet was barely warm when it was brought to the table. We asked if they could microwave the sandwich and they were not able to. To be honest, it appeared the bacon and egg white had been previously prepared because they were both refrigerator cold. One of the staff came to the table and offered to make a new sandwich which they did. When she brought it to the table you could see the steam coming off it from across the room. The new sandwich was perfect, and hopefully they warm the plates and serve the food when it is hot. We will give them another try and let you know if the cold plates were a one off. read more

I went here on a day off for breakfast and coffee. This place had amazing baked goods, food, and creative coffee. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant and a red velvet iced coffee. This breakfast sandwich was really good! The croissant was light, fresh, and crisp. The bacon and eggs very tasty. This is really one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had in a long time and I was not expecting it to be this good and fresh. The iced coffee was good, could use a little more taste but that can be adjusted and I would just adjust for taste next time. The coffee was super strong just as expected of some good Colombian coffee. So safe to say I got all my errands done for the day with no problems. The service was great as well. There was a language barrier but the lady helping me did her best to explain everything to me so I could make the selections I wanted. This coffee shop was cute and clean, with a lot of fresh food. I always have a great experience at CFS and love that they have opened up more locations. I especially appreciate this new location in Oviedo. It's in a cute spot and there is a good amount of seating. I enjoyed the outdoor seating when I went. I love their sweet toast and lattes. Also, the empanadas are delicious and a great little snack when you don't need a full meal. When I went the service was a little slower but I will chalk that up to it being a newer location and a busy time in the morning. I wasn't in a rush so I enjoyed just sitting and reading my new book while I waited. read more

Service is terrible, unfortunately. They are very understaffed. The employees are sweet and the ambience is great; however, the food can take 45 min to an hour. Then it comes out cold. They just don't have enough employees to make everything and serve it hot. Even our coffee takes forever and comes cold. I tried CALENTAO with shredded chx for the first time. OH MY GOSH!!! So so GOOD! I didn't eat all of it and brought rest home. Added hot salsa to the rest of it and EVEN BETTER!! Kind staff but I was getting a quick bite and drink to go and ordered beef empanadas (2 of them) and a refresher drink. After a long wait to try and get to the one POS system to order after the teller was describing the notes of coffee to the individual in front of me I was finally able to order. Sad to say I wont be back based on the food. I've had empanadas from everywhere from upscale restaurants to even gas station varieties because you generally cant go wrong... especially when looking for something fast and handheld. However, they attempted to serve what tasted like bland shredded strands with mush in a raw shell that was only cooked on one side. I thought they might have mistakenly given me a vegetarian one and asked them to correct it but they confirmed it was beef. Well, I am concerned because their beef is white and stringy and seemed to comprise of 10% of the filling along with what they confirmed to be potatoes. You know what this tells me? That they are taking advantage of their customers. Stuffing something full of potato and unidentifiable meat and passing it off like "beef". Disappointing; will not be returning. read more
