I was in the area with a little time to kill and in desperate need of a drink to get me going. Decided not to shy away from the Matacha drink and switch it up from my usual. I'm purely judging based on my drink and since I've made it at home with natural ingredients I was a bit underwhelmed it just had an artificial strawberry taste to it and for 10 dollars on a drink it was a bit of a let down. CFS Coffee was a really nice breakfast experience. We were headed out of Orlando and trying to find some breakfast before hitting the road. Yelp helped me find this spot and the bonus was that it had Colombian treats, which my husband loves since he is Colombian. It is definitely pricey, but I'd say the quality is worth it. The service was great; very helpful and attentive. He started with a mango smoothie and I got a matcha latte. The dishes are just adorable and really add to the appeal of the restaurant. I saw a sign that they are handmade and for sale. I went with the fruit toast-one with PB and one with almond butter-without the powdered sugar and honey. My husband went all in with the steak and eggs. I like all the dishes-the steak was cooked perfectly. I am partial to fruit so I'd have to say I loved the fruit toast the best. The arepa was also divine and we got another one to eat on the road. I really enjoyed CFS Coffee and it looks like there are several in the area. This would probably be a staple in our restaurants if we lived in Orlando. read more

From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful--especially when it came to guiding us through the menu on our first visit. We ended up trying the Iced Berry Matcha Latte, the BLTE Yuca Waffle Sandwich, The Works Omelet, and the Acai-Berry Protein Bowl. Everything was fresh and flavorful, but the standout for me was definitely the acai bowl--it was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented! The space did get busy while we were there, and since seating is first-come, first-served, it's worth arriving a bit early if you're coming during peak hours. Really disappointed with my visit to CFS Coffee. It took about 10 minutes just to heat up an underbaked beef empanada, and they microwaved my croissant, which made it so hard it was basically inedible. The staff wasn't pleasant, and it wasn't even busy at the time. To make things worse, they added a tip even though I specifically declined it. This place is right near my office, but I won't be back. Honestly shocked at all the good reviews -- my experience was the complete opposite. The inside of the shop is cute and maybe their beverages are better and it would be a nice place to sit and relax. read more

Cute little coffee shop. Service was quick. The place got busy, fast, on a Saturday morning around 10. I'd say the cup of coffee was decently priced. I bet I could've gotten a refill if I asked but I only had time for one. They give you a number so they can bring your order out to you. Thought that was weird for a cup of coffee. Soon enough the numbers were all mixed up and our group of 8 refused a couple food and drink items that arrived that were not ours! Some of our items took awhile to arrive- maybe they went to the wrong table! I did not eat but the girls had the avocado toast and the açaí bowl and it all looked good. We had a variety of coffees and teas and everyone was happy. They had a little booth in the corner they reserved for our special occasion and we were grateful. Such a fun time. read more

I had the BLTE Yucca Waffle Sandwich - Filled with bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and one over easy egg. Topped with grilled mozzarella cheese, sliced avocado and hemp seeds on the side. I'm not against being healthy, but normally I skip breakfast entirely. So, when I do indulge, it is usually to my own detriment. Here, I guess there was a balance. This is my second review for CFS lake Mary. I love the food and their coffee so much I had to give it another opportunity since the first time I came I was very disappointed about how long they took to bring out the food. I went for breakfast with my in laws and my husband. My husband and I shared the waffle sandwich that was very tasty. My mother in law ordered the peanut butter toast and my father in law the veggie sandwich. We were all satisfied by the food. We ordered dulce de leche capuchinos, a latte and a frappe (not pictured). All were also pretty good. I'm giving 3 starts because we got our coffees pretty quick and they didn't bring the food for 40 minutes! By the time the food came we didn't have any coffee left. My mother in law likes to eat and drink her coffee at the same time so she ordered a 2nd one. I'm not sure if I'll be coming back given how long they take to prepare the food unless I have all my morning to be wasted. I only recommend this place if you are ready to wait a very long time for you food. read more

Second chances. These days, we can all use them. My second visit to CFS Coffee in Lake Mary was much more successful because that was the BEST avocado toast I have ever had. Normally, I would balk at paying almost $10 for avocado toast but this serving had several things going for it. Namely, freshness, abundance, and flavor. Absolutely delicious and I'm seriously considering going back tomorrow for more. The avocado was very fresh, as were the cherry tomatoes on top, and that multigrain bread was perfect. But the flavor? Unmatched - and you notice it on the first bite. My iced lavender latte wasn't bad, but it also wasn't really memorable. I will return to see if they brew a proper cafe con leche here or try something with pistachio. Also, I have GOT to treat myself to some of these baked goods because look at that banana bread! My first visit to a CFS Coffee was in Oviedo just last month......I needed to meet a friend near Sanford/Lake Mary so I chose this place to meet. Loved it! The location was smaller than the Oviedo Location, but it had nice enough seating inside and the staff was friendly. I ordered a Late (which was Great!) and the Waffle breakfast sandwich (which was also great and a bit too big for me to eat in one sitting). The Waffle sandwich had an egg, bacon, & avocado. Had lunch here with a friend, what a fun little place! The chai was delicious, and I really enjoyed the Colombian arepa. It was plenty filling and the plantain chips (small upcharge) were also good. They have seating outside, which is nice. You order inside, they'll give you a table number, and then bring your food out to you. The downside was that my food came out right away, and then my friend's took forever (I think close to 15 minutes after mine). We both ordered arepas and chai so it's not like her was extra complicated. My friend said that's unfortunately not uncommon. Overall, it's a solid place and I'd definitely go back. read more

This is a fairly new establishment in a busy area of Lake Mary. Went there the first time with my husband last week to try out a few items on their menu. The location is unbeatable which is right at the corner across the movie theater so it's very inviting from the outside. They have a pretty big menu of food and drinks like coffees, breakfasts, sandwiches, and pastries. The inside has adequate seating as well as the outside. I ordered the hot mocha, my husband ordered an iced drink as well as we shared a blueberry muffin and brownie. As we sat outside, the wait was pretty long for the food to come out. I think we waited like 15-20 minutes. They must have been short staffed. When the food and drinks came out, my order was wrong. An iced mocha was brought instead of a hot one. I still drank it though thinking it was an honest mistake. The blueberry muffin was great but the brownie not so much. It tasted very cake-like and not chewy or chocolaty. Not sure if I would come back to this place anytime soon. Hopefully they hire more people read more

Beautiful cafe. First of all, the pistachio latte was awesome. Really, really good. The drink was made promptly at about 4:30. The drink was pricy but a nice indulgence while my son was attending a weekly sports camp. It was my fault not noticing the time and when the store closed but 30 minutes is enough time to enjoy the drink for sure and check some emails. The problem was I was not allowed 30 minutes as the staff started encouraged people to leave at 4;50. My unfinished drink was taken from me at 4:55. It was pretty rude honestly and not aligned with the price points of the business. Will I back? eventually yes, but not as excited to return as I would otherwise be. read more

I have been trying all of the CFS locations and this one did not disappoint! It is spacious, beautifully decorated, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Cute and cozy! Alexa took care of my order and she was nice, friendly, attentive and listened to my requests. She did get a good temp for my latte and warmed up my pan de bono. Definitely appreciated. I took my latte and pan de bono to go, but next time I will stay for a bit. They had a good selection of pastries and empanadas, as well as a good selection of coffee, smoothie bowls, omelets, sandwiches and salads. What an extremely bad experience with this place. I cannot name 1 positive thing unfortunately. I come in, order a double shot of espresso and an empanada. The espresso being $4.50, whatever. But the empanada was $5! Then they take it and put it in a microwave and air fryer not to mention I took a sip of my coffee and it was sour like spoiled milk mixed with sour patch kids. I asked for a remake, and it tasted the same. Possibly the biggest waste of 10$ ever. I highly advise going anywhere else, as this place has high prices and low quality. SMH read more

For a small little cafe serving Colombian coffee and some foo-foo health food bites, I was pleasantly surprised. Stopped in the morning of their official grand opening. They were clearly overwhelmed having only a couple people working, but still served up a tasty empanada, a decent veggie omelet, and a very delicious breakfast sandwich with egg whites, bacon, and avocado.
