I went here to get my smoothie, and the girl (long black hair) that made it so thick that you couldn't even drink it - I complain, she got very upset, and started making faces and laughing and snickering with the young man who was working with her. I was trying to find something to order that was fairly healthy. A majority of the smoothies come with juice (boxed not fresh) which adds ridiculous amount of sugar. I opted for the smoothie bowl, go go goji crunch which was pretty good. It was a bit pricey at $11 so Def not something I'd do on a consistent basis. This was my first time at this Smoothie King location. I'm surprised I haven't been here before. It's conveniently located right off Rinehart Rd next to Walmart. There was plenty of parking in front of the store. When we walked in the menu was abundant and it was hard to choose what smoothie I wanted. I usually just go for simplicity so I asked if they could make a mango smoothie with yogurt. And the cashier said that's actually right on the menu under the Break Time section. My husband ordered a smoothie with apples, pineapple, and mango. While another girl was making the smoothie, I noticed that the wall of items to sell was pretty empty. They were very low on snacks, protein products, and overall the shelves looked like they needed to be restocked soon with food. Also it would be good if they offered more seating. I just saw a couple chairs and counter tops and a good amount of empty space. After I got my smoothie, I got into my car and drank it right away. I really liked how it was smooth, creamy, and I noticed the yogurt taste right away. I could taste the mangos too but I felt it was a little sweet. I think mangos should have a citrusy taste and shouldn't be too sweet. My husband didn't like his that much because he only tasted the apples and not the other fruits. I would be interested in trying other flavors in the future, however. read more

I feel horrible leaving one star but this location sucks. I out mobile orders in so I can grab and go before work. There's been several times I have got there and they are closed/ locked. Luckily the worker forgot to turn on the open sign and unlock the door, no biggie I guess. They open at 7am I always get there at 7:20am and maybe they got a late start opening. It does suck because my mobile order isn't ready the time it's suppose to be. On Friday I was so excited to get my membership discount smoothie before work. I did my mobile order and it said it would be ready at 7:16am. I got there at 7:21am and the place was a ghost town. No worker no cars no open sign nothing. I waited until 7:40 and still nothing. When I tried to call the phone was disconnected. I was very frustrated and late to work but figured I'll call them later on and get my refund. I called all day and by 1:30pm with the phone being disconnected I called corporate to get a refund. They stayed I had to get the refund in person at the location but I let them know that's impossible bc they are closed and phone is disconnected. I had to contact like 3 people to get my refund back but finally got it. If you can avoid this location do that because you never really know with them. When they are there they make great smoothies and are nice kids working there nothing against them or the taste read more

I've purchased & enjoyed smoothies in many different Smoothie King locations for many years. Employees usually smile, greet you & place any extra amount that would not fit in your 40oz Smoothie Cup in a separate small cup for you to enjoy on your way to your car or driving to your next stop. NO MORE! The smiles & greetings are gone, replaced by frowns from halfway down behind the counter & "Are you ready to order" like they wished I wasn't there. On a previous visit I was aggressively told they would charge me $.25 for a small cup to hold any extra smoothie that would not fit in my regular 40 oz Smoothie Cup, like they didn't want to do it because it was a rip off. So today I returned with 2 washed, perfectly clean Smoothie Cups in my Smoothie Tote Container, ordered 2 40oz smoothies, & requested that if there was extra smoothie in either of my 2 40oz smoothie blenders that would not fit in my new Smoothie Cups that they put this extra amount in my own clean Smoothie Cups instead of throwing it away. This decision required the Manager, who came out of the back room smiling to tell me that the franchise owner did not allow providing any smoothie that would not fit into the new Smoothie Cup to be provided to the customer. This seems wrong to me since the customer is paying for the full amount of smoothie in the blender & why should it be thrown away? Located right next to the Walmart, it's a great place to enjoy amazing smoothies. They have a huge menu with various combinations of fruits and vegetables to create great smoothies. We went for Vegan Mango Kale (which has a SunWarrior raw plant based protein, mangoes, kale, bananas, apple juice, pineapple mango juice blend, and almonds) and a Raspberry Collider (which has bananas, raspberry sorbet, raspberry puree, orange juice and an electrolyte mix). Both of them were amazing and very refreshing. The staff was good and very helpful. These guys also sell nutritional supplements and other snacks which you can have with your smoothies. read more

I'm a creature of habit, just like most of you reading this, so I tend to always order the 40 oz Hulk with whey and add peanut butter. It is absolutely amazing! The smoothies here are thick and flavorful. Service is fast. This is the best smoothie spot. Even for a chain they consistently impress with the quality of the food and the service. The girls working there are always so nice and patient. There's a really great crew here and I go out of my way to visit this location vs some closer smoothie places. Prices are affordable considering the large portions. When I was leaving the store, another customer who had a baby in one hand accidentally dropped her drink. Had a much more positive experience this trip. The employee was very friendly and gave some awesome suggestions with the smoothie. I explained to him some allergy concerns and he gave excellent substitution recommendations. I never felt like he was rushing me to order and he even handed me a smoothie nutrition guide I could take home. The vegan smoothie was better than I expected. I used real sugar instead of the sweetener. I personally still prefer the Caribbean smoothie. However for a healthier option I it was pretty good. First time out in Sandford and wanted a smoothie for lunch so I decided to give this Smoothie King a try. Loved the atmosphere and the cleanliness of the place. Loved the nutritional products they offer which many of them are 'NOW' products. Not only can you get a smoothie here but vitamins, oil for your body, hair, and face, nutritional snacks, and they even sell diffusers. I wish I remembered the name of the drink I got because it was SO good. But what I really liked was the fact I could substitute the milk for something else. 5 stars for my favorite go to spot for a cold and healthy drink and for it's consistency. It doesn't matter who makes my smoothie, they all taste exactly the same which is a huge compliment for the management; they train their employees with complete awesomeness! Service here is always quick and friendly with very little wait time if any. The location is also decent, I wish they were a little closer to a local gym but not bad. Walmart is just across the street and they offer several family restaurants nearby. What I also enjoy about this place is the snack options and protein shakes ready for purchase. They usually keep up with stocking their shelves and adding or changing up on their snacks. What I ordered today was a small Acai Adventure for $4.50 that has Acai, apple juice, blueberry, vanilla protein and turbinado. I also added an energy enhancer for my pick up for an additional cost. My best recommendation is to visit on a Monday for a discount or check in via Yelp and use the $1 off coupon option. read more

The first time I went I wasn't sure what to get but one of the staff members named Natalie recommended the Nutty Super grain to me after I told her the ingredients I liked which was so helpful. I've gone back at least once a week since. The nutty super grain is filling and perfect to have when you finish going on a run/quick workout.
