We got the sampler buns: the chicken can be a lot tastier, the pork sausage (aka hot dog) is not great, the grilled pork (aka pork belly) is the best, but can use some sauce. It's an adorable shop with seating areas and a bookshelf full of board games to play while you enjoy your tea and snacks (yes, they sell hot food). First time visiting Face tea. It's a cute establishment located next to TjMaxx/ Homegoods. There is plenty of parking. The person at the register was nice and made my drink extremely fast. I ordered Thai tea with lychee jelly and asked for no sugar option and it was perfect. Not sure what regular sugar would be since my drink was sweet enough even after getting it with no sugar. I met a friend here and we had a good experience. The shop is cute and well decorated with good music playing. They have a large menu and even hot foods. They have board games too if you want to hang around. I got the matcha milk tea with brown sugar boba and the takoyaki. Service was nice and fast. As a bubble tea enthusiast, I was very excited to come to Face Tea and try a taro smoothie with boba. Their prices are reasonable and they have a lot of flavors to choose from. What I also like is that they have a rewards program if you purchase 10, you get 1 free. As I was drinking the bubble tea, I found it to be flavorful and sweet. But some of the boba were either very chewy like broken up or very hard. I also thought they could have put some more boba in the drinks compared to the size. The ambiance is nice and casual and the staff were friendly. Overall a nice place for bubble tea but I think 2 minor issues that prevent me from giving it 5 stars. read more

I went on Halloween with my friends for their BOGO deal. I got the pink peach smoothie with tapioca. I enjoyed my drink a lot, although I wish the peach flavor had been just a touch stronger. I gave my friend's taro smoothie a try, it was sweet and had a great taro flavor. I liked their drink a bit more than what I ordered! The staff greeted us when we walked in, and they were patient with us when we took a while to decide what to order. We didn't wait long for our order, the drinks came out pretty quickly. One thing I really appreciated was the seating, there were tables and chairs for dining in. I noticed that they had some board games up front, which was a nice touch. It makes for a great third space while supporting a local chain. Since this Face Tea is located in a big plaza, there was ample parking, which is always nice. I picked up milk tea on a Saturday at 3 pm and it was packed. Despite it being busy, I only waited about 7 minutes. The tea is good but the boba is a little soft for my liking. The Mills areas has better milk tea but for Lake Mary, Face Tea is a good option. read more

One of my favorite local boba spots in Lake Mary. I like that they have a variety of boba flavors and toppings. I have tried a lot of drinks here and my favorites are the taro smoothie and the peach oolong milk tea with boba. Each time I get those drinks the taste is consistent, boba is on the softer side but it's still good. My favorite food items is the popcoem chicken and the baos. Nice tea spot with wifi and food. I ordered the grapefruit and passion fruit fruit tea and it was delicious. I do wish they had larger options since i feel like it was a little expensive for it's size. Especially compared to what you get at similar places. I also ordered the popcorn chicken and it was nice and hot. I'm a big fan of Taiwanese popcorn chicken so i was satisfied but slightly disappointed that there wasn't much crunch despite looking pretty crispy. A new boba place? Well say no more... I am there. And it's not too far from my house??? BONUS! When we first pulled up to Face Tea I was a little surprised I had not seen it before since I do love the Home Goods next door. And I have to admit I was sad the old tea spot wasn't there anymore but very excited for a more local boba place. I feel like Seminole County is lacking with boba tea shops and I am always supportive of when new ones show up. We both decided on getting the classic Black Milk Tea with added cheese on top. And don't forget to add the boba! This is my absolute first drink that I order from any boba tea shop that I visit because it should be the one that is their staple drink. I must say that they use fresh brewed tea here and not powdered but the milk they use is powdered. That seems pretty common. The boba was a great texture and the amount of tea you get is good too for the price. I was not very impressed with the cheese topping. It was very bland. It had no sourness or even sweetness... or even saltiness. It just tasted like a plain cream but not a "cheese" quality to it. As a side I got the babo rice because... why not? Let me tell you... it's HUGE and VERY VERY VERY sweet. Add my boba tea on the side and I was waayyyyy sugared out after this trip. The babo rice was good but the mango was hard and not ripe and that threw me off. It's a lot more watery than what I could see from the picture they displayed but this being my first experience with it I can't judge too much on a picture alone. I think I will hold off on it in the future because it's so much sugar to consume in one sitting. I want to come back to Face tea and try some more teas... perhaps a fruit tea or their Oreo tea? But I will most likely hold off on the cheese topping and just enjoy their quality tea itself. Thank you for joining this area! I came in for the first time yesterday. I've been meaning to visit ever since my friend told me about this place! I ordered the Super Fruit Tea and asked for the sweetness level at 50% because I don't like drinks super sweet. The two ladies running the place that day were very nice.
