    Dark Chocolate Pistachio Latte
    Rachel L.

Such a great little spot right by downtown! It's the perfect place to grab a coffee before strolling through the farmers market. We tried the Strawberry Matcha and the Pistachio Mocha Latte, and both were incredible. The homemade syrups tasted so fresh and really made each drink stand out. The coffee shop itself has a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. I also love the heart behind this place and everything they stand for. If you're in the area, definitely stop by and check them out!

Enjoyed the coffee at Palate this weekend. Nice signature lattes and espresso. I had the salty monkey latte which was delicious. Seems like their syrups are homemade. It's small inside but has tables to work from and hangout and drink your coffee. Bought a pack of their beans to try at home too!

Love the Lemon Poppy Seed matcha latte on their seasonal summer menu. It's delicious! Tried the food and wasn't the biggest fan, unfortunately. Cute cafe though with great covered outdoor seating for once it's cooler out.

Palate is a cute little coffee shop in the heart of downtown Sanford, and my personal fave coffee option in that area. My friend & I stopped in this past weekend to caffeinate before going thrifting and antique shopping. The gal who what working at the counter was super friendly and made some helpful bevvy suggestions. My friend go an iced dark chocolate pistachio latte and I got an iced lavender honey latte made with local honey. Both drinks were delish and gave us that shopping energy we needed! Quick note that there's a lot of construction happening in this area and their street is currently blocked off which I'm sure has been difficult for their business. Even more reason to make the effort to support them! We were able to find free parking in a nearby lot that was just a short walk down the street.

Delicious coffee options that really tickle the palette. Friendly staff that don't dilly dally when it comes to getting your order ready and enough good nosh plates to nibble. Space for both friends meeting up to reconnect and those remote workers who need a change of scenery. GO!

Great experience--the coffee was great, the quiche was tasty and the prices were reasonable. The service was fairly quick, and the space is cute. I will say it got relatively packed while we were inside and it got LOUD. It was also super cold, which is obviously nice when it's hot outside but if you're part lizard like me, make sure to bring a jacket!

Palate is a cute small coffee shop in Sanford. You can sit inside or outside. They have a mix of different drinks like soda, milk, beer and coffee. My son got a strawberry milk and I got an iced pistachio latte. The latte was very good, not a lot of pistachio flavoring but that's ok. It looks like a lot of people were inside on their laptops working and having coffee so it's good work area with a lot of comfortable seating. I did see they had a few pastries for sale, nothing caught my eye but maybe next time I'll get one! Interested in coming back for another coffee!

I stopped in at this coffee shop during my walk through the downtown Sanford area. While the outside may seem unassuming, inside is an adorable spot to fuel all your coffee and grab n go breakfast needs! The shop did seem short staffed so it took a little longer than usual for someone to take my order but once I was able to place my coffee order it was prepared fairly quickly! I always like to try seasonal flavors when I go to a new place so this time I had their maple pecan latte. It was well balanced and is one of the better iterations of a maple latte that I've tried! My friend ordered a bagel and we sat and chatted for a good while there. Definitely a place I'd like to go back to do some work or just chill and read a book!

Adorable coffee shop in pedestrian friendly historic downtown Sanford. Indoor and outdoor seating. They can hold a crowd when the line is outside the door but they handle the volume with smiles. The beverage menu is eclectic, and make sure to ask about any limited seasonal menu available! There are food items and a pastry case. Everything is good! This area offers street parking throughout. It's pedestrian friendly so park wherever and enjoy the sunshine.

I wanted to check out a unique coffee shop in Sanford and saw the beautiful matcha drinks they made through pictures on here. This location is so nice, just off of the Main Street, and the staff is very helpful in offering recommendations. I hadn't really had just an iced matcha before so the barista gave me her current favorite, which was a macadamia nut and coconut matcha that I did with oak milk. It tasted as beautiful and wonderful as it looked! Definitely look forward to coming back and trying more here at Palate!

The last of my carrot cake latte, but the foam is still foaming

This cozy coffee house is amazing. Plenty of seating inside and there's additional seating outside as well. I had the carrot cake latte and it was absolutely delicious. It was so good. I didn't even want to drink the whole thing. I wanted to try to save it somehow lol. You can taste the flavor of carrot. It may sound weird, but it was so tasty and smooth. I can't wait to go back and try something else. The foam lasted the whole drink. I'm amazed take all my money!! Although there was only one person working the counter they were kind and moved fast. Great service.

Pear and ginger scone and Speing Breakers Latte. Love the cardboard container instead of styrofoam ! I

Visiting family in Sanford and this will be my new spot for coffee and...It's in a great little and historic neighborhood. Inside offers great ambience, bright and comfortable seating . I had a special; Spring Breakers Latte on ice. Deeeelish! To go with it, the friendly young lady behind the counter suggested the Pear and Ginger scone. It did not disappoint. I do love that their to-go container was cardboard instead of Styrofoam. The only disappointment was that there were no empanadas. My daughter raved about them. Alas.

A delightful experience!…read more As part of my quest to pair coffee houses, with bike trails, I popped into Caffe Di Riverwalk, following a 28 mile ride around Lake Monroe. That was a great decision, on my part. The staff was pleasant, the ambiance was charming, the Eggy Bagel I had was great, but the star of the show was the caramel latte they created for me. I believe the phrase my youngest daughter would use, is "Amazeballs". I'm not exactly sure what metrics are involved in reaching amazeballs status, but I do know it is several rungs above amazing. I'll be back!

It is very much the type of environment that calls for a sit down-even if a brief one. I noticed most folk sat in with their coffees/food/pastries. The service was friendly but sadly the espresso and steamed milk machines were broken during my visit meaning many coffee items were unavailable. Major bummer as I am an iced latte lover so I settled for a cold brew which was decent. I definitely would have preferred a latte so hopefully next time I'm in Sanford, all systems are go. I also ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich and requested the turkey option instead of regular bacon. I would have assumed the "turkey" option meant turkey bacon. To my surprise it was actually deli sliced turkey. While it wasn't overall unpleasant, I would have preferred turkey bacon given it is a breakfast sandwich. Would have given it that crispy element. But as stated, it was nice and a good size for the price tag. I didn't have room for any pasty, cake or pie but looking forward to trying next time as they all looked really yummy on the display case! If you are looking for a coffee or quick cafe stop in Sanford, this is a notch above the chains and worthy of a stop!

They offer breakfast, lunch, and a variety of pastries, making it a convenient spot for different times of day. When I initially placed my order, the person at the counter did not speak much English as I was asking questions about the menu and ingredients. They went to get someone from the back to assist me, which I appreciated, and that person was able to answer my questions clearly. Once that was resolved, ordering went smoothly. I ordered a beef empanada and a pressed chicken sandwich. The sandwich was made with shredded chicken and pressed on the grill, giving it a crisp exterior while staying tender inside. It was flavorful and generously sized. The portion was large enough that two people could easily share it, especially at the price point. The beef empanada was the standout. It was well seasoned, cooked perfectly, and one of the better empanadas I have had in a while. One minor issue was when my order came out from the kitchen. Although there were two people working at the front counter, it took a while for my order to be acknowledged because they were engaged in conversation with a customer picking up a to go order. It was not a major delay, but noticeable. Overall, the food quality and portion size made a strong impression. With slightly more attentiveness at the counter, the experience would be even better. I would definitely return to try the breakfast options, pastries, and more of the lunch menu. Food: 5 out of 5 Service: 3 out of 5 Atmosphere: 4 out of 5 Value: 5 out of 5 Overall Rating: 4 out of 5
