We found this brewery while in the area on the Little Free Library app. We also found it is on Craft Tap. We enjoyed a sour and a dark. They were both great and we enjoyed them watching people by the window. We left a few books and painted rock in the library and also found their plant exchange. They have a bit of everything.

Great beer selection and lovely service even while busy! The limited time porch fest Pilsner was delicious.

Came back and this place is still amazing! The seasonal Drunken Pumpkin was refreshingly delicious and had the perfect light blend of fall and Florida.

Deviant Wolfe is very chill and has a great vibe for a Saturday afternoon. You can choose to sit inside or outside. I had the Nefarious Nebula (Hefeweizen) and the Spur Trail (Dark Hefeweizen) and both were great! I also grabs some honey mustard pretzels to go with my beer. Very yummy snack. They offer other food options which I didn't try. Parking in this area is mostly street parking but there are some lots of you don't mind a short walk.

My favorite brewery in Sanford, I could go on and on about the different things to try and order but I will focus on one to highlight why you should give them a visit. Sourmanjaro is a literal mind fuck beer in the best way possible. I'm not a sour person, I prefer dark dark beer with a heavy hint of alcohol like a baltic porter, but this was my gateway to trying another strain of beer types. Imagine a beer which is slightly sour on the front but with a pure coffee type finish on the end (hence the mind fuck) and it is amazing and yet refreshing for a beer with those flavors. I have probably had everything they have released since and the quality of their beer is so high even beers not my type I enjoy and love to try. Now that I can just order food from next door whether that's Pizza or Tennessee Truffle has only heightened the enjoyment of the experience.

SERVICE: 4 FOOD QUALITY: N/A DRINK QUALITY: 5 ORDER TIME: 5 AESTHETICS: 5 NOISE LEVEL: 5 MENU SELECTION: 3 OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 4.5 We dropped in after walking around Sanford one afternoon. The inside has a very rustic architecture feel with a hint of minimalist ideology all while promoting local art pieces on their walls. The bar is very large and inviting, The multiple times we have been there there has only been one bartender and a lot of customers so it's been delayed service, but I can understand with the quality product they serve. I've tried many of their beers, and sours which all tasted amazing. The sours aren't over powering and are semi mellow. They have a small, personal menu selection. I would love to, personally, see a larger sour option with ranges of sour. Their red ale is also very delicious. No matter your preference you're likely to find something, of quality, that you will like. Overall, I was overly excited to find a local brewery not far from our house who crafts sour beers. It's definitely worth the visit if you're in the Sanford area and craving beer. It has become our go to beer joint since moving to Orlando.

Soft Pretzel

This was a cool spot that served a number of intriguing and unique beers along with a few cocktails as well. The service at the ten or so seated bar was great, and the music playlist was even better. There were also a few tables to sit at, but ordering had to be done at the bar it seemed. There was a limited food menu, but outside food could be brought it. The soft pretzel ($6) was ordered. It came with a spicy brown mustard. I thought the pretzel was going to be a little bigger, but it was still tasty. It came out hot and went well with the thick mustard. It had plenty of salt, but not overly done. It went well with the number of cocktails and beers sampled. Will I go back? Easily.

What a cool place! I was there last night for a special buy out event, so it wasn't a "normal" visit. But I was impressed, all the same. The staff was attentive and polite, and the ambience was great. Oh, and the beer! I only had a glass of the local light lager, but it was really good. I love about an hour away, but whenever I'm back this way, I'll be sure to stop in again!

Always a great beer on tap here!

Whenever we plan a day for lunch and drinks in Sanford Deviant Wolfe is always a stop for us! We love their relaxed atmosphere inside and they always have a good variety of craft beers on tap. They also have some of their beers in cans for sale and you can create your own four pack, which I love so my husband and I can each pick what style we want. We tend to go right after lunch time and it typically isn't super busy yet and we have always had good service. If you are out Sanfording make sure you make a stop here!

Fantastic beer, ambiance and service. I had the Oktoberfest and my husband had Nefarious Nebula (Hefeweizen) Both excellent! The cheese board was lovely as well!

Cool place. The art is cool and constantly changing. Place is very clean and although the beer wasn't the best I've ever had, it was decent.

Amber ale, lager, seltzer

Super clean, friendly, chill local brewery in the heart of downtown Sanford. They offer a really great variety of beers, something for everyone. I loved their amber ale, and while I'm not a huge fan of seltzers, I have to say, the one my husband ordered was actually really refreshing and delicious. It's a small place but it gives off that backyard, neighborhood, everyone knows everyone feel. The beer is delicious too!

Enit S.

Definitely a fan. Good beer selection, comfy and spacious seating, they have some outdoor seating as well. They use to do live music before the pandemic, don't know if they still do. You're welcome to bring in food, I happen to see a pizza/sandwich place next door bringing in food so I guess they deliver to the brewery. Great place to relax.

They're not the weak, tiny wings you get at some places -- these things have real flavor and actual effort put into them. Every Thursday they introduce a brand-new "flavor of the week," and let me tell you, I treat it like the season finale of my favorite show. I'm sitting there like, "What flavor are they dropping on us today?" It's culinary suspense. And among all the flavors, Nashville Hot is the undisputed star. If you order it and don't instantly feel like you need a gallon of milk and a spiritual reset, did you even eat Nashville Hot? Now, shoutout time: Lewis and Taylor -- the backbone of the whole operation. These two run Thursdays like it's wing church. If they're working, the wings come out perfect, the beer flows, and life just feels right. Honestly, Wop's Hops should put their faces on the wall like the Wing Hall of Fame. The beer? Amazing. The wings? Elite. The Thursday vibe? Immaculate. If you need me on a Thursday, I'll be at Wop's Hops pretending I have self-control while ordering 19 Nashville Hot wings and the new flavor of the week.

Inside has a super cute bar where it seems most patrons know each other.

I knew that Hollerbach's had a brewhouse where you can purchase everything you need to become a home brewer but I had no idea that they opened up this little taproom inside. They offer a variety of beers - Golden Lager, German Fest Beer, Irish Red Ale, Hazy IPA, Cran-Apple Sour, Double IPA, Belgian Tripel Ale, Belgian Strong Ale, and a Nitro Imperial Stout. They were also carrying several other local breweries brews, and they offer flights if you want to sample a little of everything. Pricing is on par with most other breweries in the area and you can even purchase smaller samples $3.50-$5.00 depending on the brew. I ordered the Krampus Belgian Strong IPA ($7.50) in spirit of the event going on and the guy at the counter gave me two cups half full. I asked him if he did that because of the foam and he said it was because they are 8oz servings due to the ABV percent is high. I understand that but why are you giving me two? He didn't say anything and said that would be $16.05, WTH?? Nancy was not happy with is nonchalant character all but I said, you know what I'll probably drink both anyways so no big deal, but honestly that is not an acceptable business practice and they guy just basically ignored our dissatisfaction at the situation. I admit that the beer was delicious but the employee's ownership of his mistake or ignorance to what just happened was a big turn-off. Great job on making this delicious brew but good luck keeping customers coming back with this guy running the tap and register.

Citrus City Craft was selling some special cocktails outside, and I saw the berry bourbon catching my eye. I had to go with that. Since it was an event, it just came on a plastic cup, making it easy to hold. It was a great fruity drink. I forgot what kind of berry they used, but it was pretty sweet and enjoyable. The bourbon they used was indeed high quality as the booziness lasted almost an hour. Though, thankfully I was still good enough do two rides on the mechanical bull and last for a decent account of time. And what was amazing about the drink was the cost, just 8 bucks! I would have expected to pay at least 10 dollars or more for a great quality drink for a special event, but 8 dollars was quite a steal. While I didn't go inside the restaurant/bar, I just enjoyed the outdoor entertainment at the strip mall, and tried the cocktail. Because of their excellent quality of the drink at the event, I definitely need to visit inside and try their beer selection as well in the future.
