If you love craft beer, if it is your passion, or even your hobby, you cannot go wrong visiting Community Brew House in Sandford Florida.  To start, Sandford Florida, has more breweries per capita than any small town I have visited in Florida.  Community Brew House which is also Sandford Home Brew is probably the reason why.  Sandford Home Brew teaches Brewing.  And there is great beer all over this small city north of Orlando. All of their beer is small batch, half barrel.  Most of them are commercial level great.  Some of the best beer I have ever had in one place.  On par with Invasive Species in Fort Lauderdale Florida which is my favorite beer in the universe. The BEER: Seaside Sour 6% ABV... ummm delicious Jack Burton 4.8% ABV... says light and crisp, tastes like a smooth Pilsner Baltic Porter 7% ABV... this is sooo smooth and really wonderfully delicious Alien Space Juice ( see the picture, it is like light purple) Raw Hazy Juicy IPA 7% ABV... this is something special, it is slightly juicy, but tastes like it is fermented in oak barrels.  They told me how they make it, but the explanation was lost on me because I am not a brewer.  THIS COULD BE A THING! Tomahawk DIPA 8.3% ABV... this could compete with any of the best DIPA small batches out there.  Brew Club 9th Anniversary Ale 12% ABV... tastes like a super smooth barleywine or Belgian quad.  I LOVE THIS BEER!!! Porch Fest Bier 6% ABV... this is a really great beer, but I couldn't classify the style, German fest beer maybe All I know is next time I am in Sanford, this will be my first stop.  By far the best beer in Sandford, and to be honest, all the beer in Sandford is at another level.

This seems like more of a coffee shop vibe with comfy seats inside but then there is a bar and nice sidewalk outside seating. Bartender was nice. Beer was tasty but very straight forward. Good solid beers. I think they do little bagged snacks. They also sell at home brew materials. They are also currently on the CraftTapped app. If you like local craft beer, look into it!

We each got burgers, and 2 appetizers, the pretzel and the kettle chips with blue cheese and balsamic reduction. The balsamic reduction was not a reduction - it was practically straight balsamic vinegar that pooled on the bottom and soaked the chips. Couldn't eat them. The mustard with the pretzel was great though. The burgers were a mess, and were not even patties - just chunks of ground beef held together with cheese. And it didn't taste like a burger. It was simply awful. We each took a bite then walked out. Fortunately you pay and order at the bar before you even sat down so we could just get out of there. The hose made kettle chips they advertise with Wop's seasoning - we literally saw the cook open a large bag of store bought chips and sprinkle pepper on them. We went somewhere else to eat after this. We're really own upset that they marketed their food as something it was clearly not. If you're all about the beers this place would probably be good. Just don't order food. Except the pretzel. That was decent.

An area that could be improved on is wine glasses and pours vs price. Surrounding restaurants/bars offer much nicer wine glasses and better pours for the amount charged. The food here though is pretty good, especially the flat breads. Wings are good but nothing special. Overall the food we had was very good and the bartenders were both great. We went two days in a row. The restrooms could use sprucing up. It's the great service we came back for but much better happy hour pricing just around the corner. Inside has a super cute bar where it seems most patrons know each other.

Citrus City Craft was selling some special cocktails outside, and I saw the berry bourbon catching my eye. I had to go with that. Since it was an event, it just came on a plastic cup, making it easy to hold. It was a great fruity drink. I forgot what kind of berry they used, but it was pretty sweet and enjoyable. The bourbon they used was indeed high quality as the booziness lasted almost an hour. Though, thankfully I was still good enough do two rides on the mechanical bull and last for a decent account of time. And what was amazing about the drink was the cost, just 8 bucks! I would have expected to pay at least 10 dollars or more for a great quality drink for a special event, but 8 dollars was quite a steal. While I didn't go inside the restaurant/bar, I just enjoyed the outdoor entertainment at the strip mall, and tried the cocktail. Because of their excellent quality of the drink at the event, I definitely need to visit inside and try their beer selection as well in the future.

Indoor and outdoor seating and several TVs.

Standing only, all concrete in the hangar, one bar, lots of waiting. The bathrooms are cleanish and highly functional, no flushing issues, not disgusting, multiple women's stalls. For our concert, the venue set up a Coleman cooler of water and small free water cups by the entry, but they did not make an effort to refill the water jug, so we got quite dehydrated and unhappy halfway through. Liquid death cans and cups of ice can be purchased for about the same cost as alcohol at the bar. Nutrl was only $6 and change, I was thrilled! The sound quality was EXCEPTIONAL! Kudos and a half to Tuffy's for excellent balance and not blowing our eardrums. The light show, meh, too many dark blends, too moody and could barely see the band. When most lit up, I enjoyed seeing the stage. The place got very crowded, very quickly. They need crowd control and to not overpack concert goers like sardines. The outdoor bierhall vibe was chill but was basically a refuge for chainsmokers :( Would def go back, but have clear expectations, multiple water cans in pockets, and very very supportive shoes for tha concrete floor.

The parking situation isn't the best, there's very limited parking in the front lot of the brewery but there is a lot behind the building if it's full, and it can get full so just be prepared to walk a bit if it's busy. Inside, there's a solid amount of seating with a relaxed, casual vibe. They also have games you can play while hanging out, which makes it a great place to spend a couple hours with friends. What really stands out is the selection. They have a huge variety of beers (something for everyone), plus ciders, non-alcoholic options, and even soda. It's one of those places where everyone in your group will be able to find something they like. They don't serve food, but you're allowed to bring your own, which is a big plus. There's a wing spot just a few doors down that makes it super convenient to grab something and bring it back. They also host events throughout the week, my personal favorite is Wednesday night bingo. It's always a fun crowd and a good midweek activity. Overall, it's a great local brewery with a welcoming vibe, tons of drink options, and fun things to do. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area
