This is definitely a UCF bar, but don't let that deter you (lol jk) this place is great! They have a whole area that looks like there is likely live music there sometimes and / or karaoke opportunity, both of which would be amazing! This was my first time here and it wasn't busy, but I could see how it could be a popular spot on the weekends for sure. There is a lot of space, and I love that it kind of feels like a mix between a hangar and a barn inside. There's a bar, that little stage & seating area, garage doors that look functional, and a room for playing darts and / or using the ping pong table. There's your regular bar food like chicken wings and pizza, but there was also a great greek salad so there's something for everyone. Came to Brewlando for an event they were doing with UCF on a Saturday evening. I'm a UCF alumni and I really enjoy visiting breweries so I was very excited for this event. The event was marketed as including games for kids, tastings, food specials and more. When I arrived I asked the bartender what tastings they were doing and she informed me of food specials that they were running. She mentioned that with certain food offerings, they were offering a free beer. Different beers would come with the nachos, hummus, or giant pretzel food options. My husband and I were very excited about this and decided that we would try some of the specials, that included the beer and nachos and beer and pretzel. The food was good, the pretzel was outstanding but the nachos could've used a bit more toppings. The chicken pieces in the nachos also should've been a bit more bite sized instead of the big clumps they were in but they still had good flavor. The reason I am giving the review 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is that when looking at my bill, I noticed that they charged me more than the nacho price on the menu. When I questioned this, they informed me that they were running food/beer specials and not that it was buy a food item and get a free beer as was advertised. I suggested that they change their messaging to future guests so as to not confuse anyone thinking they'd get a free beer with certain entree items. Eventually they ended up comping me for one of my beers which I appreciated due to the mixed messaging that I had received. read more

This has been one of our go-to breweries in Orlando for a while now, mostly due to how dog-friendly they used to be. Unfortunately, we were told tonight that many things have changed in the past few months and dogs are no longer welcome inside. We had always brought our dog in to sit quietly under our table and in the past, they had even invited the dog inside, which was so welcoming and really set this place apart. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end and so it is with Brewlando being a welcome space for pets. The outside patio is an option if you do need to sit out there with your furry friend, but the heat during the day and the bugs that come out at night make it less than ideal. If you don't have a dog with you, then it's a nice big space with plenty of parking, some good beer choices, friendly service, and a growing, decent menu of food options. I would definitely recommend stopping in. We don't live too close and always stopped by for dinner/drinks and to let the dog cool off after a run at one of the nearby dog parks, so unfortunately we'll be dining elsewhere due to the policy changes. Still love the local brewery scene. This time we had a meat pizza and honestly it was so fresh I loved how the cheese pulled! Would eat again. I also tried a new beer (new to me) the hoffner hefe and I would also get that again too. They were having a cancer fundraiser which we didn't know about before we showed up but it was nice to see. What could have made it 5 stars: 1. This is small...but they have dart boards but the darts are not great (overused and bent by poor players) plus the dry erase markers/boards to keep score could use some love. Personally, we brought one set of our own darts and used a free app to keep score so that's a way around this issue. 2. Closed caption wasn't on any tv and the nfl draft was playing but we couldn't hear/read it which would have been nice. read more

Brewlando is lowkey a third space in Orlando. Brewlando had a large amount of parking and is a large space. It's a brewery with large tables, many tv's, and an outdoor area. You pretty much make your orders and they'll bring it to you. They have beers and food and great atmosphere. I held my birthday party here, mostly because I wouldn't have to pay a fee to have more than ten people there. However, they also have long tables, which was good for me since I was planning on playing board games and more with my friends. When we got there, we chose a couple of tables and lowkey manspread everywhere. However, there weren't that many people there when we got there so I felt like it was fine. We had about three tables and the use of the room. I had ordered the espresso martini with a sidecar. The sidecar was a dark stout that had a nice coffee flavor. This was a 9/10. I also ordered a giant garlic parmesan pretzel with grain mustard and cheese dip. That was a 9/10. They also gave me a strawberry espresso martini that was maid with a strawberry dark stout. This was a 10/10 and delicious and really nice of them to notice and give it to me. I wasn't allowed to know the bill. I also ordered several lemon drops and green tea shots. Hey, it was my party. The service was fantastic, even when I asked for plates and silverware to serve a birthday cake that I brought. Honestly, I would go to this place again and I loved it. There is so much room here for big groups and events. They have their own food truck and a second food truck was here on my Saturday night visit. The BEER: Rio Nocturno Mexican dark lager 4.8% ABV... didn't really care for this one, just something off about the taste Whippoorwill Pils Czech Pilsner 4.8% ABV... it is a pils and pretty good, but Czech Pils is a stretch Red Lake Irish Ale 5.2% ABV... tastes more like a stout than an Irish Red Magic City Nitro milk stout 5.1%ABV... one of the best beers they have, semi sweet with coffee and dark chocolate notes Jernigans Hazy IPA 6.8% ABV... this is a solid Hazy and was quite delicious Time for a Citra DIPA 8.2%:ABV... the best beer I had here. This is quite good. Unfortunately, my beer choices were for the most part disappointing. Still our Beertender Angelica made the visit pleasant. The beer was a 3 and the venue is a 5 so 4 stars, but just barely 4 stars. Feel like I had better beer at the I drive taproom. read more

I ordered their Coco Crème cream ale, and it was excellent! Really well-balanced! Sweet, but not overly sweet, with a touch of coconut. I only took a star away because it was hot inside. They had 2 of their large rolling doors open. I'm assuming to draw attention to the food trucks that were parked out there. It was like 90 degrees outside though. We were excited that when we arrived they told us about free beer they were offering with certain food dishes. We ordered a few of the dishes that came with the free beer, the pretzel and the nachos. The pretzel was really good and the nachos were okay. The beers we thought were pretty good. When we were checking out they charged us higher than the price of the nachos that were on the menu. They informed us that they werent offering free beer with the food but instead they were specials at a discounted rate for the beer and food. We've always tried their beer at other locations, so it was time for us to finally visit the brewery itself! Came here on a rainy, Saturday afternoon. Staff is always friendly and quick to guide you through any questions. They have a large parking lot, so you should have no trouble finding a spot. Bar has both beer and wine options. On my way to Tampa from Orlando International Airport, I wanted to stop for a beer. After a quick search, I found Brewlando Brewing. The atmosphere at the brewery was lively and welcoming, with people enjoying themselves and a great vibe all around. I headed straight to the bar and spoke with the server, letting them know I was in the mood for a light beer. The server was friendly and recommended the Light Lager. Great little dive bar near MCO. This place has changed a lot over the years, and the new menu is pretty good bar food. The beer selection is always rotating. Stopped by on 10/24 having previously tried an IPA at a UCF football game. Place was fairly empty. There was a Spanish speaking group at the end of the bar monopolizing the beertender lady who was also a Spanish speaker. Took a while to get her attention. We tasted a Jernigan's and another IPA and as she was running back to that group, I ordered two Jernigan's. We decided to order a crowler of Jernigan's and I had to infiltrate the group to get her attention to order it. I saw her pour the crowler in a hurry and quickly seal it without letting the foam run out. I suspected a short pour crowler and was validated at home with two 16oz glasses 2/3 full. Overall a nice venue and like the beer. Would have given Brewlando another star but Just bummed with the service and the short pour crowler. read more

I've never been happier to be wrong. I thought I was going for coffee at a Cloud City/Lando Calrissian themed coffee shop with drinks served in a Han Solo Cup, you pirate. Instead, I found a place with lots and lots of beer, but not one Malt Liquor like Colt 45 (RIP Billy Dee W. - His Yelp Name). The first thing you notice is you've probably never been on this road before. Where TF Are We? It's pretty close to Goldenrod, 528 and one of the better Walmarts in Orlando. Definitely needed the GPS for this one. The building it's in looked pretty new and the brewery seems to take up a majority of the building (I didn't measure). The bar didn't have a ton of seating, but the rest of it seemed to have a lot. There was an event taking place when we went, so I didn't get a good idea of the size of the back area (more Kim Kardashian size rather than Arianna Grande size?). There's also an outdoor area in the back where food trucks typically set up. The was a closed food truck on our visit (Saturday Afternoon from 12p-4p with no food). Now for the important part. The restrooms were clean and the splash guards in the urinals worked splendidly. No more lying that the sink sprayed all over your shirt and pants. Let's talk about Beer. You go first, I'll wait. Uh huh... go on... seriously? Well the two beers I had were both good. They had a great hefeweizen which is my favorite style. They also had a light lager (Pegasus) that had to be the lightest beer I ever had. Whatever style of beer you like, the extensive selection is sure to please. Servicewise, we had to keep going back to the bar to order. We sat out back for a while before someone came out and did offer to bring more beers. The bar didn't have a clear place to go and order, so if you were sitting at the bar, be prepared for people to be squeezing in and ordering. They had games like darts, ping pong and that game with a ring on a string that you swing to a hook. The bartender has all the goods you need to play. If we went back, I'd maybe check and see if a food truck was there, or plan on eating somewhere first. Okay, it's kind of a silly name--but the beers I tried were solid, and it's got a nice atmosphere for a brewery/pub. Sort of warehouse hipster without being overly sterile about it. Worth noting: the space is absolutely huge, about 10,000 square feet. When I visited on a Saturday afternoon, there were only a few customers there. The young guy behind the bar was helpful and friendly. Their flights are five beers rather than the usual four. I had a mostly-IPA mix: Moonstone (American), Coldfront (Cold), Jernigan's (Hazy), Mental Turnpike (DIPA), and the Golden Night (Belgian Strong) to round it out. All good, although the Golden Night, the Mental Turnpike, and the Coldfront might have been the standouts. Brewlando is amazing! My friends and I attended the Board & Boogie Galentines event and had an amazing experience! The interior is well furnished and you can see the whole bar and brewery equipment. For the event, they had tons of valentines decorations and a DJ to set the vibe. We got to graze a beautiful charcuterie spread and dessert table. To drink, I got an elderberry cider and it was delicious! The outdoor space was also great. They had a build-your-own dried flower bouquet, plenty of photo ops, and a pop up permanent jewelry stand. We also got to take home a cute gift bag. For the ticket price, I felt like this was so worth it! The staff were all nice and they kept the atmosphere fun. I stumbled upon this place by chance and only stopped in for one quick drink with my sister. This place is definitely large enough for events and is set up to be a cool hang out. They have indoor and outdoor space (which I did not take a picture of). As well as ping pong table, darts, and empty room they use for gaming and other things. I also noticed a stage. As for the drafts themselves, I tried the 501 Cinnamon Roll Stout and my sister had the Strawberry Blonde. Both had a sweeter but yummy taste. I noticed they had wines and other non-beer drinks too. Brewlando is an off the beaten path and unexpected brewery in Orlando. Located off Hoffner in Conway you wouldn't expect to find some of Orlando's tastiest beers. We happened to stumble upon the new ownership party with a group of friends back in 2021. We stopped into this spot on a weekend afternoon for some beers. The location was formally Castle Church, but reopened as Brewlando earlier this year. The bartender was friendly and happy to answer questions. We tried the Conway Kolsch, Irish red, and coffee chocolate stout and all were really good. I loved that the coffee chocolate stout really had the strong coffee flavor I enjoy; some I've had I feel like I barely taste it. Brewlando has some great beer! I tried two different beers. My favorite was the boggy IPA. It was super hoppy and flavorful. I also tried the strawberry blonde ale which was great too, light and crisp! The service is excellent. I actually was here for a Galentines Event last night that they hosted which was fabulous. They had make your own bouquets, lots of photo booths, and charcuterie boards! The brewery itself is super big and spacious; perfect for events! Beer, pizza & dogs: a great way to celebrate the beginning of the weekend! Today, I met with a group of friends and their furry friends at the brewery, and the staff was very attentive, accommodating all of us. They provided bowls of fresh water for everyone, and the food truck in the outdoor yard made all the difference; the pizza came out fresh! I would never have guessed that it was such a cool brewery from the outside, but once you step in, it's much larger than it seems, with a super spacious and industrially decorated ambiance, adorned with twinkling lights. One thing that would make the experience even better is if they had music playing, as it would improve the overall atmosphere. The TVs were on, but there was nothing playing on them - not even music or any sports channels. Adding some background music or even tuning in to sports channels could really enhance the ambiance and entertainment while enjoying their delicious craft beers. Decided to check out Brewlando when I saw they had an open-mic night. The live music was great fun. The beers on tap I tried were the seasonal Amber lager and the Winter Ale. Brewlando is such a relaxing chill spot especially during the week. They have a spacious set up, so if you feel like lounging on a sofa or sitting at a bar or at a table with a few friends they got you covered. I also like that they have darts for you to play and a foosball table to keep you entertained. The bartenders are super friendly and always helpful with making beer choices or giving samples. The watermelon cider tastes amazing and keeps me coming back. Their beers are always ice cold and delicious. Even when they rotate certain beers they always replace it with something better. Also if you get hungry they have a food truck in the back called Nona Street Pizza which has some of the freshest and unique ingredients for pizza definitely worth a try, what's better than pizza and beer.
