The staff was super helpful in getting samples and suggesting beers for us. I ended up with a seltzer because I'm just really not a beer person. But the blackberry agave seltzer was amazing! The inside has plenty of seating, tables and some couches. Dogs were allowed inside no problem. But there is also a great backyard with lots of shade and tables, and lots of open grass/that I could take the pup to get a little energy out. 10/10 definitely recommend for a solid afternoon hang and a delicious drink. read more

I was at another brewery out in Clermont and on the drive back to east Orlando I noticed Windermere Brewing Company was right along the route. I'd never been to Windermere or this brewery so it felt like the perfect time to stop in. The place is really neat both outside and inside. Nice setup and a good vibe overall. They've got a solid beer selection that covers a range of different palates. Of course I went with one of their lighter blonde ales and it was great. I spent a Saturday or Sunday afternoon at Windermere Brewing after a day of day drinking. Picked this spot because it is not far from Yellow Dog Eats and my party really needed food. I got dropped off at the brewery while they went and got the food. The place is quite stylish, especially the taps... see pictures. The place was pretty full in front and inside and there were a good amount of people in the back tent and in the grass area behind the tent. I grabbed a beer and sat on the back patio because it was less full. I sat there drinking my beer and tapped into my phone. The was a TV outside and they turned on football for me, which kept me entertained until the food came back. After I ate my food, I had one more beer, unfortunately I have no recollection of which beers I had. I remember they were both quite good. I have to return because I really enjoyed my time there. The staff clearly knows what they're doing--very well-versed in all the beer options and happy to help, which makes the experience even better. The environment is friendly and relaxed, with plenty of TVs throughout. There's a Mexican street food truck outside with delicious food, which is a huge plus. During the day, it's an excellent place to bring the kids since there's a park directly in front. Between the backyard, front porch, and indoor space, there's plenty of room to spread out, along with games and things to do. Great beer is the main focus, and they deliver. DOG FRIENDLY! The service here is amazing! Our Brewtender Jacob really took care of us and had fantastic recommendations. He sent us home with a complimentary can of our favorite beer of the night since we're from out of town. Jacob even stopped at our table with some treats to meet our dog! We got a flight and the beers were all refreshing and delicious and they offer a massive array of different options. Something for everyone for sure. They even have wine for non-beer drinkers. I have been meaning to try this place for a while and finally got the chance to go. I was very impressed by everything. The guys behind the bar were amazing and know their beer. Only came here since one of my colleagues endorsed this place haha. Recently opened within the past year, this brewery is tucked quietly within Historic Windermere. A true hole-in-the-wall spot when driving through under 30 MPH or stuck in traffic on its Main Street on weekdays. The "Colada Coast" (their Blonde Ale) is a unique blend of a Pina Colada drink and a typical style ale. In fairness, their beer after taking a sample of their IPA (No Barnie's) was perfect for my palate. Yet my test of a brewery is if they can do more than an IPA it has my seal of approval. The primary drink of that evening, their "Colada Coast" punches way above its weight for a blonde ale. Balanced and sweet for a typical blonde ale. But the flavors of a Pina Colada will take you back to the days of vibing on the beach here in Daytona or Clearwater. After sampling the rest of the menu (including their ales and lagers) I was blown away by the taste of many. Notably, their Party Boat (a wheat beer) has your typical fruity flavors. Felt the taste of peach and apricot, and way way less of the bitter. To be fair, Jordan was a dry but flirty brewmaster! I'm all for the line drives on fun conversations. Not just the small talk chit-chat. That's to me what bars are supposed to be. A third place where coming back for a social atmosphere is the norm, not the exception! read more

There are a few snacks available but around 4, a food truck arrived and brought menus to each table. It is clean inside the tap room with comfortable high tops and longer tables for big parties or sociable types. Employees took an interest in us, including the brewmaster who stopped by our table to discuss current beers and future plans. On weekdays they open at 3. We decided on a quick stop to try this brewery and we're not disappointed! We had their Orange Grove Outlaw IPA and their Mojito seltzer and both were very tasty! It's a smaller brewery but they have so many different options to choose from so everyone in your party should be able to find something they like. Even though it's a smaller brewery, the taproom had plenty of seating and there was an even larger outdoor area with lots of space and seating as well. Our bartender was great, he was very nice and personable. We also ended up here on Bingo night which was a fun surprise and we won a round and ended up with a free glass! I stopped by Winderemere Brewing while on that side of town. I had tried a couple of their beers, one at Food & Wine Classic at the Swan and Dolphin and another at Sea Worlds Christmas event. Both were good and I have been wanting to check it out so I stopped by! I got a flight and I enjoyed my beers, I got a crowler of the colada pale ale to take home to my BF since I knew he'd enjoy it. It's an adorable little spot and I was shocked at how busy it was since I got there like 20 minutes after they opened. They have rocking chairs out front, a nice indoor area and an out door lawn area with table to hang out at as well. I had never been to that part of town before but it was pretty cute! It's not a part of town that I get to often but now I know where Windermere Brewing is so I can make sure to stop by next time I'm in the area! read more

So you'd think when you check the brewery's website and it says they are open 3-10 Mon-Thu, you'd be able to safely assume they are open. Then, just to make sure, you call the brewery. And their message says "Open Mon-Thu 3-10". So they gotta be open, right? Let's hope in a drive 30 min. And getting the this brewery isn't easy. So you arrive, walk up annnnnd...yep...closed. If they can't do the basics when running a business, it's fair to question whether the beers would be of any quality to make a place you'd want to go. We love our little hometown brewery. A perfect little spot for families to come unwind while the kids play in the back under the oaks. They have a number of brew options available on tap and a few select wines available for those non-beer drinkers. They do not serve food but most nights they partner with a local food trucks to have food available to order. Tuesdays are the loco taco group, get the cheese taco special.... So good! What we really love about this a lot is its quiet. You aren't going to find a bunch of rowdy, party goers, stirring up trouble here. Most people drive over on their golf carts with their kids, super family oriented. They turfed most of the back patio area and have lots of picnic tables available for seating. Inside they have both bar and table seating. Check their calendar for events, trivia, corn hole, yoga and bingo are just a few off the top of my head. It's always clean. They usually have an evening event going on and of course you're surrounded by lots of awesome locals! 4 out of 5 only because the beers are $7-8 which is a little steep but I also understand the state of the economy and a small business needs to make money. My partner and I were visiting family in Windermere and wanted to try a local brewery .This was super close to where we were staying so decided to check it out ! We were greeted by the hostess and she let us try a a few samples before we ordered . I wanted a light beer so went with Watermann . It was indeed very light and crisp. I also ordered a Windermere Light which was also a lager but had a taste of Japanese rice.. The ambiance of this place is exactly like how you'd expect at a local brewery . We had been wanting to try this brewery out for a while and decided to check it out on Saturday, October 14. This is a mistake for us as they were hosting their Oktoberfest event. The entire location was crowded whether you were outside in the front inside or in the back. The music they had going was live and when the life performer took a break music was being played from somebody's phone. Overall it was way too loud. There were three of us all together in our party and we could barely hear each other and that was us even shouting and or yelling to each other. Because they had so many people outside in the front it was even challenging to get out of the location and just walk to the sidewalk. The brews that we had were OK. My husband got the wolfbann and really enjoyed the dark complexity of it. Our friend got the low key punk and wasn't overly impressed with it as a sour. she said the overpowering lime taste was just a bit too much. I opted for the waterman which is supposed to be there light version of a Bavarian beer. It was much more hoppy than I anticipated. We may give this location a try again but will certainly look to ensure there are no events going on. Made a return trip for their first Meatless Monday event hosted by Vegan Street Party. Quite a few tasty beers to go with the food. I enjoyed the Watermann (Helles lager). The Upside Down Pineapple Pale Ale was good too, but had more pineapple aroma than flavor to me. The Devil's Dock Belgian Tripel could use some work; not as balanced as an authentic tripel. The bartenders are friendly and attentive, and even gave treats to my doggo. The inside seating is plentiful and varied (tables/chairs; comfy chairs and benches), and bright inside with a view of the brew house. There is also a bunch of outside seating, and open space for the kids to run around. Overall, a good place to hang out. Glad to see they're coming up on their 1 year anniversary. Tourist Season and Blissful Ignorance were my favorites. They also have a few wine options, some non alcohol options like fancy sodas, and limited food options. Indoor and outdoor seating are available and you can chose to be served at a table or mingle and order at the bar. Open for business! Located in the heart of downtown Windermere, the brewery is a must to visit! Modern lakehouse vibe. Six different beers on tap. I had the beer flight with four 4oz pours. My favorite was the Brut Saison. My husband had the different IPAs. His favorite was Slow it Down Turn it down Hazy IPA Jesse and Richard were great hosts. New to the area! I am happy to see a brewery open up right in the heart of Windermere. The location has a very nice vibe, outdoor seating, rocking chairs, and a beautiful interior! It is absolutely a fun place to be. They have a selection of eight or so beers and none of them really appealed to me. I had the hibiscus sour/lager that was OK, but not stellar. Typically, I have a taste for stouts, lagers, sours, witbiers, and ales, but nothing really aligned with what I wanted here. I stumbled upon this brewery while visiting a nearby shop. It is a modern brewery with a decent size, contemporary styled pub area. They have indoor bar and tables, and an outdoor table area. They had a selection of 6 beers on tap, a limited selection of wine by the glass, and some one-off soft drinks. Their food selection was limited to snacks. A local BBQ set up a table outside to provide food. We sat at the bar. To sample their beer offerings. I had a flight of 4 different beers: a lager, 2 different style IPAs, and a saison. All were good; the saison and NE IPA were my favorites. The staff was friendly and helpful in explaining their beers. I recommend this brewery and plan to return. read more

4 stars for location and the beautiful backyard but not for beers. This place is so nice to just chill out in the neighborhood. Store is rather small but the backyard is huge open space where dogs and kids can play. They don't have any real food. So most people order pizza from the area (forget the name of pizzeria but great pizza). Last weekend they hosted Octoberfest events where some live German music and jazz music played in the backyard. It was a beautiful night with friends, live music and nice breeze. However, I wish they can offer whiskey and some more wines. To be honest, their beers have much room for improvement. I have tried many different kinds. Unfortunately I did not find any beer I can say I enjoyed. Overall I like this place but wish they can add more wines and whiskeys to their menu. read more

I'll bet it's great if you are a known regular. The beer I was able to order was really, very good. The Colada Coast is light and refreshing. The Belgian wheat my wife had was quite tasty. I would have loved to been able to try more. But, alas, despite waiting directly at the bar, leaning forward as much as social graces would allow, credit card in hand, the barkeep was able to look through me to the people that just walked in behind me, quite a trick through my 6'2'' frame. Two more instances of that, barkeep greeting newcomers behind me by name, I got the message. It's a shame, really. It does seem like a lovely place. Cute rocking chairs on the front porch, tables outside, there was a German food truck right out front that had vegan options (on Wednesday) the beers were delicious, I meant to have one but stayed for a few.
