I hardly ever hang out in the Simpsons area of Universal Studios, so haven't been to Duff Brewery hardly ever. But to my surprise it's actually a really nice place to hang out for a bit if you need a break from walking around! They have bar seating all around, and there's more seating behind the main bar right along the water. It's pretty sweet. Of course, if you want a beer you can get the classic Duff Beer from the Simpsons world. They serve a few basic food items like corn dogs and pretzels and chips. The pretzels are really popular and probably the one thing worth having- everything bagel seasoning and made fresh. But the best part of this place is the staff. The gal helping us was so nice and pleasant and thoughtful. Stopping here made the Simpson section a little bit better in my eyes. read more

This is always a great place to take a break at and grab a beer when you are having a park day at Universal Studios! They also have liquor if a mixed drink is more your thing. Most take them to go. The bartenders are always very nice and friendly. I honestly alwyas thought that they only served beer. But the last time we visited, we actually sat down at the bar. I noticed that they had a few bottles of liquor behind the bar. After speaking to the bartender, they let us know that there are a few cocktails they can make for you. The do not have a full bar, but basic items like vodka and rum. He did recommend a long island, but I do not really enjoy those. I settled on a strawberry lemonade with vodka added. It was not the strongest drink; however, it was actually really good. It was a pretty large cup as well. We also decided to order a pretzel with cheese. Their pretzel was actually really good. It was very warm, soft, buttery and had a good amount of salt. I usually do not get pretzels in the park, but this one was good. I really liked it and would definitely order it again. All in all, this is a great stop. Good beer options and for those that do not enjoy beer or just not feeling beer, good cocktails as well. There is some bar food available (pretzels, for example) and they can also do some mixed drinks (margaritas are a hit). If anyone from Universal is reading this, please consider enforcing families with kids to sit somewhere else other than the bar. You can sit, just like any bar and enjoy a beer, but most take it to go. Fun fact: inside the restaurant (across from this outdoor bar), is an indoor bar. However, the outdoor one is slightly different and has a few more options that the one inside. This one outside, also has a few bottles of liquor behind the bar. After speaking to the bartender, they let us know that there are a few cocktails they can make for you. There is not a fully stocked bar, but they have basic items like vodka and rum. The Duff Brewery/Beer Garden is conveniently located inside Universal Studios Florida in the middle of their "Springfield" and right along the walkway with the perfect seats to people watch if that's your thing or catch a nice breeze on the other side along the water. It's nicely shaded and the staff here are both quick and friendly. They serve a limited variety of beer (by The Florida Beer Company) that you would expect to be served by Duff. It is served in regular clear plastic cups which is kind of disappointing and I'm not sure if they are like the same size that you get at football games but that's what it made me think of. In addition to the beer, they also serve liquor and Squishees in like 4 flavor options which you can get with the aforementioned liquor. The prices are pretty much the same as the rest of the theme park for alcoholic beverages which is $13-ish for beer and $18-ish for liquor. Overall, it's cute! Add in actually good beer and the surrealist experience of sitting at a bar in the open air in a theme park and you've really got something. We sat down for mid-day break and figured, why not have a beer. We had the Duff October fest and it was a decent marzen style October fest beer. We also had pretzels and beer cheese and enjoyed our time. The service was excellent and at no point were we rushed or made to feel like finish up and leave. Again given the environment surrounding us this was a pleasant surprise. Pricing was fine, obviously it wasn't cheap but didn't feel as exorbitant as some other things. One of our absolute favourite and most memorable drinks at Universal... Squishees!! When visiting Springfield Land, squishees are a definite must! We got the Raspberry Lemonade Squishee and it was amazing. For those who don't know what a squishee is, it is fairly similar to a slurpee drink you'd get at 711, but these ones are super flavourful and very smooth. One sip of the squishee and it will have you craving for more. And for the amount you get, it's definitely worth! Duff's specializes in the namesake beer, both on tap and bottled but they also have Flaming Moe's and as far as I know, this is the only place you can get Squishees!!! They always have Duff and Duff Lite on tap & in bottles, Duff Dry is only bottles, and seasonally they have Dufftoberfest which is absolutely the best beer on tap of the 4! If Duff merchandise is your thing, they have a little shop attached to one side selling a lot of cool beer items. I always had friendly and attentive service here, plus it's great to sit outside and chill around the lagoon with a cold brew in hand. Located inside Universal Studios Orlando, this is the iconic Simpson's brand beer, Duff's. The small open air bar is adjacent to Krustyland, the Simpson's ride. There are three Duff's beers available, the original, lite, and dry. You can also get some other Simpson's land specialties including the "Flaming Moe" which is a non alcoholic drink, cherry flavored "Buzz Cola", and the "Squishee" which is like a slurpee. I tried the Fanta White Cherry Squishee. Not sure if it was the hot weather, but that was so good! Sitting here at 11:09 AM, they were supposed to be open at 11:00. FYI, I arrived at first at 11:00 and was sent to Moe's Bar. Found out they only serve beer which I don't drink. Couldn't leave Universal without trying the duff beer! Since the weather was nice we decided to stop by Duff Brewery instead of Moe's. They have a nice bar stool area with plenty of seats. In terms of the drinks, they have a few beers on tap, the popular ones being Duff and Duff light. For the under age visitors, they have a few nonalcoholic drinks I believe. They also have a few snacks you can grab on the go. I had the Duff light and it was pretty tasty. The only thing i didn't particularly enjoy was that the service was pretty slow even though it was pretty empty during the time I was there. Along with all the other great things Universal Studios has brought to real life from the TV show, Duff Beer is probably the most recognizable and sought after product. The assumption I initially made when seeing the beer taps at a few places in the Simpsons area was that Duff Beer was probably just a re-branded Budweiser or the like. The beer is actually brewed by Florida Beer Company, a craft brewer. So good on Universal being such a massive company to support a local Florida company.
